Mr. Saturn’s Stars #37 Weekly Horoscopes for 5/21-5/27, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 5/21-5/27, 2018

Hi kids!!! Here we are for another round of the inimitable Mr. Saturn’s Stars so, without further adieu, let’s roll up for the Magickal Mystery Tour, step right this way!!!

“Magick is letting

The Unknown transform what we

Think about ourselves”

Aries- The Sun in your House of Communications aligning with Mars in your House of Dreams will have you wanting to share your opinions with everyone in the world, just don’t be surprised if it also turns out that you have to listen to a bunch of shit you’d rather not hear as a response; such is the price for free speech. Uranus entering your House of Self Worth will have you wanting to do things your way, although Saturn in your House of Career will also feel a need to remind you there are protocols to follow, which Venus passing through Cancer will help you with, if only because right now everything you’re hoping to gain is unfortunately contingent on obtaining someone else’s approval. By the time the Moon enters your House of Partnerships to square Saturn and then Pluto, you will have calmed down sufficiently enough so that the grinding of your teeth in frustration over various delays will only be audible inside your own head and not to the people you need to have sign your check.

Taurus- Mars passing through your House of Public Image will have others expecting an awful lot from you, while Uranus entering your Sign will also have you worrying that if you can’t deliver on these demands that it will mean you are a bad person. Let Saturn in your House of Philosophy help you to remain confident and professional as it aligns first with a practical Virgo Moon and then with a serious Scorpio Moon to close the week. Meanwhile, Mercury transiting through your sign and aligning with both Jupiter in your House of Partnerships and Neptune in your House of Groups should also be of service in helping you to find the proper compromise between being able to serve others while also respecting yourself. As the week ends with Venus in opposition to Saturn you will likely be feeling both a sense of accomplishment at what you were able to get done as well as a sense of pride at being able to stand up for yourself.

Gemini- With the Sun entering your sign this week and aligning with Mars in your House of Travel and Philosophy your imagination will likely be running wild, just make sure that Uranus behind the scenes doesn’t have you dwelling on how certain things might have been different if you had made other choices in the past. Mercury is also passing behind the scenes now and as he aligns with both Jupiter and Neptune you could find a very unusual (and perhaps humorous) solution for something that has been a problem at work. Saturn in your House of Transformation opposing Venus in your House of Self Worth could have you thinking about whatever may be missing in your life, and since Venus is transiting the sign of Cancer it would be no surprise if the possibility of having children might seem more real now than it ever has before. Just make sure your partner feels the same before you get too carried away.

Cancer- At the beginning of the week Uranus in your House of Dreams will be squaring Mars in your House of Transformation, which could have you feeling quite anxious to see your circumstances at work change or, at the very least, operate much differently than they have as of late. Jupiter in your House of Creativity is opposing Mercury in Taurus and that likely has you totally focused on the way things are instead of the way they could be if you allowed yourself to think outside of the box. Let Neptune in your House of Philosophy provide you with a little inspiration; perhaps a short trip (or a long one) might be in order to clear your mind and your frazzled nerves. Even a short stay in some different circumstances should help unleash the power of that inventive Gemini Sun as it passes through your House of Confinement and shines a light to show you some possible ways out of the darkness.

Leo- How far can you push a Lion before it roars or before it actually bites your damn head off? With Uranus in your House of Public Image squaring Mars in your House of Relationships, the line in the sand regarding how much you will put up with from someone will be tested this week, so be prepared. How angry you get will most likely be in direct correlation to how much you are willing to put up with, so make sure to set clear boundaries with someone that you know will likely cross them. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Home aligning with Neptune in your House of Transformation could mean that the potential transgressor we’ve been talking about could be a family member, so make a serious vow to yourself to speak softly and carry a big stick; and don’t be afraid to use it if necessary! A hard lesson may be the only lesson this person can really understand.

Virgo- This week should offer you an object lesson in how real learning can’t be planned but rather occurs because we think something else is happening. Uranus in your House of Long Distance Affairs could be a hint that a surprise is coming your way via a foreign culture or even just a radically different way of thinking, while Mars in your House of Work and Routines will likely indicate that this unexpected occurence could turn out to be quite disruptive to your normal way of doing things. The savior here will probably be Saturn in your House of Creativity as it helps you to realize the holes in your usual philosophy so that you can prevent being exploited again in the future. No matter what happens though it is important that you express your displeasure in the moment rather than pretend it’s no big deal and then lose your shit later on. Support for expressing yourself honestly should come from Jupiter retrograde in opposition to Mercury as it helps you to realize (and hopefully break) a pattern of accommodation that has never really served you.

Libra- The Playwright Sam Shepard once said, “When you hit a wall- of your own imagined limitations- just kick it in.” With Mars passing through your House of Creativity and squaring Uranus in your House of Transformation, just be careful that this wall we’re talking about doesn’t unexpectedly fall on your head first. Both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Foundations are most likely mandating this inner restructuring, meaning the operative thing to keep in mind here is to stay loose and keep your toothbrush packed so you can jump on that reality train the second it pulls out.  Venus in your House of Career opposing Saturn would further indicate that any changes coming about now will probably have beneficial long term effects on both your personal life and public image, just realize that all of this will be on a need to know basis so try not to get either too tragic or too optimistic about any of it because in either case you just don’t know! And you won’t until you turn on a light one day and life unexpectedly yells from a once dark room you thought was empty, “SURPRISE!!!”

Scorpio- There could be some real fireworks this week as volatile Uranus in your House of Relationships squares aggressive Mars in your House of Family and you recoil in horror at the rude and condescending opinions some of your supposed loved ones actually have toward you. Saturn in your House of Communications will demand an aggressive, although measured response to this nonsense, meaning let these people know you’re pissed, but do it in such a way that they don’t have a chance to hide behind the diversionary excitement of a shouting match. Jupiter retrograde in your sign aligning with Neptune would speak to the need for compassion in your expression, however, when we are under attack it is important to be compassionate with ourselves first, for it allows us not to stoop to our attackers level by reacting as though their ignorant insults are true. So kill them with good manners, just make sure you kill them (not really….hahaha).

Sagittarius- The time has come. This week when the shit hits the fan at work you will definitely get some on you. In the past you have been stealth enough to avoid any splattering fecal matter, however, this time it’s going to be like Pearl Harbor and you will have to do something. So what will it be? Saturn in your House of Self Worth will be about acknowledging what’s right and what’s wrong and not equivocating between the two as a strategy to avoid involvement. Jupiter retrograde behind the scenes will be egging you on by reminding you how you never used to be such a wuss, so how come you’ve turned into such a big one now? And last but not least, Mercury aligning with Pluto will be about confronting the truth, both within yourself as well as in regards to what’s happening in real time around you. The ship is sinking, either man the lifeboats and get out, grab a bucket and start bailing, or mutiny if the Captain has proven to be batshit crazy……..MISTER CHRISTIAN!!!

Capricorn- You are a serious sign that is about long-term achievement, hence you can put up with a lot of crap and struggle for years to succeed. However, with Mars now in your House of Self Worth squaring Uranus in your House of Creativity, you may have finally reached the end of your patience and feel the time has come to set the whole shit house on fire (euphemistically speaking) if you can’t have what you need. You’re usually pretty reasonable, but it’s going to be tough to convince you to continue sitting back as Jupiter in no nonsense Scorpio opposes Mercury in stubborn and focused Taurus. As the Sun passes into the resourceful air sign of Gemini and your House of Work, cast a few lines out into the world and see if there are some new and/or developing situations that could use a person of your caliber and commitment. Mr. Saturn isn’t advocating setting that fire mentioned previously, although there is nothing wrong with checking out how the prevailing winds are blowing, just in case.

Aquarius- With Mars in your sign you’re convinced you know what you want and how to get it, although with the planet of action squaring Uranus in your House of Foundations you should well consider the proverb, “be careful what you wish for,” as the results of your inspired efforts may not be at all what you expected. Saturn behind the scenes with Pluto would represent the material fear that’s driving your desire to transform your circumstances, while Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career aligning with Neptune would speak to the emotional security that would come from eliminating your material needs. Ultimately it’s important that you realize neither of these pathologies represents a recipe for anything other than furthering your control issues. To truly liberate yourself, follow the lead of the Sun in Gemini and your House of Creativity and try to be flexible enough to bend in the winds of change like a bamboo, rather than attempting to resist and snapping like a new sappling.

Pisces- As Uranus in your House of Communication squares Mars in erratic Aquarius behind the scenes, try to keep your cool if any difficulties arise in regards to exiting a situation that is no longer tenable for you. Saturn in your House of Groups and Dreams represents the protocols necessary for both getting and giving up something at this point in time, so try to follow the natural order to the best of your ability and don’t cut corners. Any avoidance of responsibility at this time could bring on some unforeseen hassles in the near future that you will end up feeling very stupid about when a just a little due diligence could have avoided the whole mess. With the Sun sweeping through your House of Symbolic Foundations change is certainly in the wind, just make sure you tie the riggings and batten down the hatches so you can sail into your next port of call flying the flag of a successful Man of War and not stinking up the joint like a dilapidated old fishing boat.

From the Introduction…….

Introduction

The book you are about to read presents the dialogue for a pair of Psychic Readings. While both of these encounters are fictional creations, the material in them is based upon thousands of actual client sessions that I conducted as a Professional Psychic and Astrologer in New York City over a period of more than 17 years.

* * *

What is a Psychic Reading? The act of going to a special individual for spiritual and/or esoteric guidance has existed in one form or another since ancient times and, depending on the cultural setting, could have included activities as varied as making a pilgrimage to the oracle at Delphi in Ancient Greece, consulting a tribal Shaman, or visiting the local Witch on the outskirts of town. Yet regardless of the setting, exactly who are these special people we ask to impart to us their visions and wisdom? In what ways are they different from the rest of us? How do they manage to acquire the insights they are sharing? What does it mean to be Psychic?

The human brain is perhaps the most profound Machine in the Universe, but where do our thoughts come from? We each possess consciousness, but what is our awareness made of? Modern Physiology will tell us that we use only 10% of our brain’s capacity, which would then mean that 90% of our mind’s potential remains dormant within us. If that is the case, then perhaps in the same way that the genetics for an entire tree can exist within a tiny acorn, maybe all the secrets of the universe can also be explained within the untapped portions of the human mind? If this is true, then maybe the Gurus and Psychics we go to for insights are really nothing more than normal people like ourselves who have found a way to activate more than 10% of their innate intelligence? Maybe the late Psychologist and Philosopher Timothy Leary was right when he said, “The Brain is God”?

Clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience, or the abilities to see, hear, or perceive expanded realities and non-ordinary states of being are among the sorts of powers commonly considered Psychic, yet the relative truth of these experiences are extremely difficult to verify, or even comprehend in terms of conventional understanding. To the general public the popular idea of a Psychic is someone dressed up like a gypsy or a witch who predicts the future using Tarot Cards and a crystal ball. However, if one can manage to put such stereotypes aside the actual truth is that real Psychics, while in possession of one or more of the aforementioned abilities, are also often highly trained individuals in an Esoteric/Occult sense who are capable of offering valuable insights and guidance to those who are in psychological or spiritual crisis.

From “The Second Reading” pages 42-46

READER: What do you do?

TOM: I’m a musician.

READER: Professionally?

TOM: Not exactly.

READER: Oh?

TOM: Well, I’m in a band, but we’re not working right now.

READER: So what do you do to earn a living?

TOM: I’m a bartender.

READER: How’s that going?

TOM: It pays the bills but I’m pretty frustrated with it.

READER: When was the last time your band played a gig?

TOM: About 6 months ago.

READER: Why is that?

TOM: I don’t know, it seems like it’s hard for us to agree on anything.

READER: Are you in a relationship?

TOM: I don’t know.

READER: You don’t know?

TOM: Well, there’s this chick I’ve been seeing… but, I don’t know…

READER: Is there anything right now working out the way you’d like?

TOM: Sure.

READER: What would that be?

TOM: My Spiritual Studies are going well.

READER: Really? What are you studying?

TOM: I’ve been reading about developing my Psychic Abilities, Remote viewing, stuff like that.

READER: Where are you getting your information?

TOM: From an Internet blog by a guy named Beelzebuddy.

READER: Do you find these studies are useful in regards to the other stuff in your life that isn’t working?

TOM: What do you mean?

(The Reader tilts his head like a dog when it’s confused and then reaches over and grabs one of the large books on the table.)

READER: Let’s get to work. What’s your birthday?

TOM: September 1, 1980

(The Reader opens the book and flips through the pages until he finds what he’s looking for. After studying the information in front of him for a few moments he then begins speaking)

READER: Do you know if you were born before or after 12 noon?

TOM: I’m not sure.

READER: All right, don’t guess. Just answer me this…How curious are you, or better yet, how distracted can you get?

TOM: Well, I am interested in a lot of things.

READER: How often do you finish what you start?

TOM: There are some things that I let slide, but then again I can also be pretty responsible….

READER: …..When you have to be, right?

TOM: I guess you could say that.

READER: Have the responsibilities at your job caused you to let your music slide?

TOM: It’s not like I’m obsessed with my job or anything like that. I plan on getting back to playing; it’s just that I’ve gotten really interested in Psychic stuff.

READER: So let me get this straight… you’re working at a job you don’t like, reading about Psychic stuff, and also thinking about getting back to your music?…. I would say you have a Gemini Moon.

TOM: I thought I was a Virgo?

READER: Your Sun is in Virgo, but your Moon is in Gemini. To say you are a Virgo is like saying you’re a man; there were 9 other planets circling in the heavens on the day you were born and each of them represents an archetypal aspect of your character. For instance, Saturn would represent your control issues, Neptune your imagination, the Moon your emotional style, and so on.

(The Reader takes the next few moments to look at the book again before continuing to speak)

You have a Virgo Sun and it squares a Gemini Moon. Both of these signs are ruled by Mercury, which represents communication and information. As a result, you feel an emotional need to have a constantly changing set of circumstances (your Gemini Moon), which you are forever juggling and trying to orchestrate together into some useful pattern (your Virgo Sun).

(Tom leans forward in his seat and stares intently at the reader)

You also have Mars in Scorpio, which is always about power, and that both sextiles your Sun and inconjuncts your Moon. In short these configurations can cause you to oscillate significantly back and forth between ambition and withdrawal, as well as lending a stealth air to how you generally deal with people. In other words, you don’t like people to know what you’re up to and usually keep things on the down low.

TOM: It says all that in the book?

READER: Not necessarily, that’s my interpretation……….any questions?

TOM: Not bad
