Mr. Saturn’s Stars #43 Weekly Horoscopes for 7/9-7/15, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 7/9 -7/15, 2018

Hi kids!!!

SCOTUS Haikus

“The right to choose is

Universal Law, not just

That of any land

If freedom can be

Given or taken away

Then no one is free

Let Congress and the

President take note, no one

Has that many votes.”

Aries- The New Moon this week in your House of Symbolic Foundations opposing Pluto retrograde in your House of Career will likely bring up some loose ends in a project you’re involved with that may require you to rethink, or even rework, something you were convinced was a done deal. At first this could be very frustrating for your “full speed ahead” mentality, but with Venus entering Virgo and your House of Work and forming a Grand Earth Trine with Uranus in your House of Earnings and Saturn retrograde in your House of Career, any t’s you have to re-cross or I’s you have to re-dot will make you quite glad you did, especially since Jupiter also goes station/direct this week in your House of Death and Resurrection, meaning that any steps back you have had to take as of late will no doubt result in at least two corresponding steps forward quite soon.

Taurus- Your attitudes have been changing for a while, but it will likely be this week that you’ll finally see someone different when you look at yourself in the proverbial mirror. Uranus currently in your sign has had a lot to do with this, but now that it is approaching a Grand Earth Trine with Venus entering Virgo in your House of Creativity and Saturn retrograde in your House of Philosophy, expect to witness yourself doing and saying things that you never would have thought possible just a few months ago. A good part of this change in yourself might seem awkward with the New Moon in emotional Cancer and your House of Communication opposing Pluto retrograde in your House of Philosophy, as you find that sharing more of yourself will leave you feeling more vulnerable than what you were brought up to think was proper and/or safe. Don’t worry, with Jupiter going direct in your House of Relationships you’re a big boy/girl now and could probably even teach Mom and Dad a thing or two about being an adult.

Gemini- With the New Moon in the sensitive sign of Cancer and your House of Self Worth opposing Pluto in your House of Transformation, this needs to be a time of necessary compromise on your part if you expect to accomplish anything at all. The approaching Grand Earth Trine of Uranus in your House of Confinement, Saturn retrograde in your House of Transformation, and Venus in your House of Symbolic Foundations, would speak to the need to adjust to the unexpected as though it were a great new idea you don’t understand yet, as opposed to something that either frightens or disappoints you. You should also be careful of a tendency to take the path of least resistance when you’re confronted with making a mistake. In other words, don’t play the blame game or be willing to lie just to get out of an awkward moment, especially if there are witnesses or people committed to finding out what the truth is; Try not to be made an example of for something that’s hardly worth sacrificing your reputation and standing for, especially if it ends up with you be hung in effigy in the public square.

Cancer- The New Moon in your sign this week opposes Pluto in your House of Relationships and aligns with Jupiter going direct in your House of Creativity and Romance, which could mean that you may finally start to feel like you’re coming out of a long funk that has made the Summer up until now feel like nothing more than a cloudy day at the beach. A Grand Earth Trine between Uranus in your House of Groups, Venus in your House of Communications, and Saturn retrograde in your House of Relationships could see you reconnecting with old friends and getting your social life back on track like it was before the last set of exciting changes you remember turned into what has recently become a new obstacle course of stressful responsibilities. If you can manage to stay in the moment instead of dwelling on a negative past or fearing an uncertain future, then you should be able to, as the song goes, “Take it to the limit, one more time….”

Leo- If you have been unwilling to confront your emotions, a setback at work could trigger you to finally admit how dissatisfied you are with how your life seems to be slipping away without anything to show for it. At first this will be really depressing, but then a Grand Trine in earth comprised of Uranus in your House of Career, Venus in your House of Self Worth, and Saturn retrograde in your House of Work could likely end up motivating you to get your ass in gear and do something different than just complain and maintain the status quo. Jupiter going station/direct in your House of Symbolic Foundations and the deep, dark sign of Scorpio should be a motivating force as it chafes against outspoken Mercury in your sign, who it turns out is envisioning so much more for you than what you’re currently doing. If you feel you’re currently lack confidence, Mr. Saturn would suggest that you stop thinking of it as a pre-requisite one must start with, instead courage is usually something you acquire along the way after first being naïve enough to be absolutely sure of something and then finding out otherwise.

Virgo- As Venus enters your sign this week it will first trine Uranus in your House of Philosophy and then trine Saturn retrograde in your House of Creativity, which could result in a sudden desire to head in a new direction and abandon something you’ve been working on for a while. Your natural critical faculties will be on hyper alert now, so pay attention to what you’re actually doing by projecting whatever it is you subconsciously don’t like about yourself onto an activity that up until now has seemed important to you. The New Moon in your House of Dreams opposing Pluto retrograde in your House of Creativity is a cathartic influence, for sure, but maybe you’re really supposed to confront your lack of internal motivation now instead of abandoning a ship that may not actually be sinking?  Jupiter going station/direct in your House of Communication, where it will both trine Neptune in your House of Relationships and square Mercury behind the scenes, could be the cue for you to reach out and talk to someone about what’s bothering you before you act out something with a friend or partner you may regret later.

Libra- This week’s New Moon in your House of Career opposite Pluto in your House of Symbolic Foundations may end up speaking to some deep seeded ideas that you’re going to have to let go of in order to succeed in the future. Venus entering your House of Confinement could bring up issues of self-love as she aligns with both Uranus in your House of Transformation and Saturn retrograde at the lowest point in your chart, meaning the time is ripe now for you to take a new approach regarding the expectations you have about what you deserve in life. The danger here is that you’ve inadvertently confused the low road with the high one in so far as you’re all to willing to always be the better person as the shmucks and hustlers are getting the better stuff. The Universe will always make room for true excellence, so stop believing that only shit rises to the top; that may be true in a cesspool but that’s not where you are or what you’re offering. As Jupiter goes station/direct in your House of Self Worth and squares Mercury in your House of Dreams, be willing to point out to others how you are that multi-faceted diamond in the rough and then trust people will be able to sense the difference between quality and plonk.

Scorpio- As Jupiter goes station/direct this week in your sign and squares Mercury in outspoken Leo, this could be the time to make a case for yourself on the career front. Your ambitions during this period should also be supported by the New Moon in your House of Philosophy opposing Pluto in your House of Communication, which is about the confidence to ask for what you want rather than waiting for it to be offered. A Grand Earth Trine of Uranus, Venus, and Saturn retrograde will be occurring in your Houses of Partnerships, Dreams, and Communication respectively, so make sure you get out there and let the world know you’re available. Anytime Uranus is involved there is a possibility for a surprise, so be willing to reach beyond whatever you think your current capabilities are; you’re ready to move to the next level and you just might get the opportunity!

Sagittarius- Co-dependency can be a truly insidious thing because it can sneak up on you before you realize what’s happening. Hopefully Jupiter going station/direct behind the scenes in the power driven sign of Scorpio and squaring Mercury in your House of Philosophy will help you to realize that by trying to constantly win with a negative person you’re only becoming just like them! The New Moon opposing Pluto retrograde in your House of Self Worth represents the need to liberate yourself as soon as possible from these kinds of energy vampires in your life, and that means do what ever you need to do; wear garlic, carry a wooden stake, get a gun with silver bullets, just do it! Uranus in your House of Work will be part of a Grand Earth Trine this week with both Venus in your House of Career and Saturn retrograde in your House of Self Worth, meaning that any efforts you’re willing to make to push your prospects in the workplace now could see an opportunity appear unexpectedly, just like the air bubbles that let you know the fish are biting! Cast that line!

Capricorn- As this weeks New Moon opposes Pluto on your Relationship axis you’re going to have to decide what needs to go, either a person you’ve been with too long, or the practical, logically unassailable excuses you always come up with about being too busy for a relationship? Uranus in your House of Romance could end up bringing something unexpected as it aligns with Venus and upsets the apple cart in your House of Long Distance Affairs, perhaps drawing to you an exotic stranger who gets under your defenses and seduces you with their mysterious style? As the saying goes, nothing is true, everything is permitted, so why not let yourself go? Jupiter going station/direct in your House of Dreams and aligning with Neptune in your House of Communication could serve to soften you a little, so that when Mercury in your House of Intimacy makes that pass you will follow like the sailors who were drawn into the rocks by the Sirens; Oooh la la !!!  Hurts so good, doesn’t it?

Aquarius- The New Moon in your House of Work opposing Pluto behind the scenes could very likely represent the changes you’ve been hoping for, that is, if you can get out of the rut of believing that better times must necessarily always be in the future; perhaps you are overlooking something quite special that’s been right in front of you all along? As Jupiter goes station/direct in your House of Career and squares Mercury in your House of Partnerships, what may look like a difficult situation could actually be just the challenge you need to show what you’re capable of? A Grand Earth Trine in your Houses of Foundations, Legacies, and Hidden Things would insinuate there might very well be buried treasure right in your back yard, but only if you can discontinue your habitual skepticism and aren’t adverse to a little digging. What have you got to lose anyway, except what you’ve convinced yourself of that may not be true?

Pisces- The Sun in your House of Creativity opposing Pluto in your House of Dreams could be about realizing that your future success may be more about what you need to let go of rather than what you need to acquire. Jupiter going station/direct in your House of Philosophy will help you with this, as it squares Mercury in your House of Work and brings you to the realization that you’ll never earn anymore than you think you’re worth. Keeping that in mind, how much do you value yourself as opposed to needing someone else’s approval? This week’s Grand Earth Trine in your Houses of Communication, Dreams, and Relationships would suggest putting more time and effort into being what you feel you need to be rather than what someone else may need you to be. Likewise, Mars retrograde behind the scenes in your chart at this time is more about strategy than action; so take a few moments to be clear on whom you are before you try to prove to anyone what you are.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #40 Weekly Horoscopes for 6/18-6/24, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 6/18-6/24, 2018

Hi kids!!! Glad to have you back here at Mr. Saturn’s Stars. I hope you enjoyed last weeks Tarot/Haiku Interlude as much as Mrs. Saturn and I enjoyed our vacation.

Now, are you ready to get back to some hardcore horoscopes!!! Yeah? Well then let’s go!!!

Aries- Pride and appreciation could both be big themes for you this week, which could lead to some tense moments and even some disappointments. Nevertheless, try to understand that the overall lesson here should not revolve around anyone’s ego, but respect. The Sun entering Cancer should make you a little more sensitive than usual and its sextile to Uranus in your House of Self Worth should make you a little more reactionary, and if that weren’t enough, Venus will be opposing Mars with both of them being squared by a Scorpio Moon later in the week, all of which could be a recipe for either big passion or big frustration. By the weekend Mercury at the bottom of your chart will be opposing Pluto at the top, helping you to see the truth and let go of any feelings of anger, resentment, or even jealousy, in favor of healing and forgiveness spurred on by Jupiter retrograde in your House of Transformation working with kind and compassionate Neptune retrograde behind the scenes.

Taurus- Taurus is a fixed Earth Sign, grounded and stable, like an old, tall tree in the forest, but hopefully not like a stick in the mud when the rains of change start pouring down. There will be a fixed Grand Cross for you this week, beginning with rebellious Uranus in your sign opposing a Scorpio Moon in your House of Relationships, which will likely be all about getting your way in a situation no matter what. The second opposition that will complete the cross will be Venus in your House of Foundations and Mars in your House of Public Image, meaning pride won’t be just one of the seven deadly sins for you this week, but possibly all of them (perhaps with a little wrath mixed in). The light at the end of this tunnel vision will likely come over the weekend, when noble Jupiter retrograde trines compassionate Neptune retrograde and the investigative team of both Mercury and Pluto oppose each other to reveal this recent stubbornness on your part not to be the selfishness and ego you’ve been hiding behind, but rather a little bit of fear mixed with a lot of insecurity because, after all, change makes you very uncomfortable.

Gemini- This could be your Wizard of Oz week as a Fixed Grand Cross of Uranus, Mars, Venus, and the Moon combine with a new Cancer Sun in your House of Self Worth to re-enact the famous scene in the movie in which the curtain showing the massive, shouting face of the Wizard is pulled back by Toto to reveal a feeble old man hoping to fool the world into believing he’s something more than he is. What may turn out to be a surprise about all this (just as it was in the film) is that your true identity (just like that of the Wizard) with its modesty and insecurity is actually far more attractive (and inspiring) to those around you than the tougher image you feel a need to project. With Neptune transiting now through your House of Public Image it will be important for you to battle this tendency to hide your vulnerability behind a tough facade, for in actuality it is your natural sensitivity that is probably the most powerful tool you have in the face of your current circumstances.

Cancer- With the Sun entering your sign this week and aligning with Uranus in your House of Dreams and Saturn in your House of Relationships, this is a time when you will need to be appreciated and that must necessarily begin with you. Keeping that in mind, Venus in your house of Self Worth opposing Mars in your House of Transformation would speak to keeping your needs in perspective when others start making excessive demands on both your time and sanity. You pride yourself on being a caretaker so begin by taking care of yourself. Mercury in your sign opposing Pluto in your House of Relationships will add to your natural intuition as it offers insights into the motivations of both those who love you and those who oppose you. In the meantime, Jupiter in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune in your House of Philosophy will provide a decidedly Magickal aspect to your personality now, which may assist you in finding an esoteric solution to an obstacle that had previously seemed insurmountable. Believe in yourself and tap the heels of those magick slippers together, you didn’t end up with them by accident.

Leo- The activist and/or protector in you could be activated this week, as Mars in your House of Relationships opposes Venus in your sign and Uranus at the top of your chart opposes a Scorpio Moon at the bottom. Both injustice and bullies offend you and with the Sun moving behind the scenes into the super sensitive sign of Cancer, your heartstrings could be seriously tugged at now by either an individual or a group of people who are being victimized by unfortunate circumstances or unscrupulous individuals. Pluto in your House of Work opposing Mercury behind the scenes, along with Jupiter in your Home area aligning with Neptune in your House of Transformation, could contribute to you making discoveries either on the job or involving your family that will put a new spin on the actions of certain people whom you thought you knew, but it turns out you really didn’t. Once you know the facts, make sure to trust your own sense of truth to determine the right way to react.

Virgo- An unexpected problem this week could wind up being an unexpected blessing, it will all depend on your perspective as well as a sense of irony. Mars in your House of Work opposing Venus behind the scenes could find you thrust into a position of leadership on the job, an irony that will not be lost on you considering how much you have avoided playing the politics game at work because you think it’s a bunch of bullshit. The simple fact though is that you are the most qualified person to step in if the shit has hit the fan. Kind of like Burt Lancaster in From Here to Eternity; he’s the Sargent who really runs the base but when his girl suggests he take the officer’s exam he replies, “But I hate Officers!” All Mr. Saturn has to say is, “get over yourself, be a success!” Mercury in your House of Groups opposing Pluto in your House of Creativity could be of  assistance in your position of newfound responsibility in the form of you coming up with a better way to do whatever it is you’re now in charge of. Top it off with Jupiter and Neptune making everyone love you for it and you’ll see why it was suggested that a sense of irony would be important at this time.

Libra- As the Sun enters your House of Career and aligns with Uranus in your House of Transformation, the time may have finally come for you to get out there and make some noise. This ambitious theme will be reiterated as Mars in your House of Creativity opposes Venus in your House of Groups and Dreams. What you had thought was too personal and of little interest to most people might actually be quite universal. Mercury is also in your House of Career and it is opposing Pluto at the Foundation of your chart, meaning when we are honest with ourselves and what we feel, it will resonate with those of like mind and maybe there are more of them out there than you figured. Meanwhile, Jupiter retrograde in your House of Earnings aligning with Neptune Retrograde in your House of Work could bring back someone from the past that wants to return a favor for something you did but have forgotten about. The tumblers in the universal lock could very well be falling into alignment, so don’t be surprised if some doors start to open.

Scorpio- The story of Oedipus is famous for a reason; it is an archetypal theme of competition and incest that resonates deeply. With Uranus now in your House of Relationships and the Sun entering the sign of Cancer and your House of Philosophy, expect the deeper connections between your parents and you to start to emerge; not as dramatically as the Doors performing “The End,” but intense enough for sure. Mercury is also transiting through your House of Philosophy and as it opposes Pluto in your House of Communication, this could be a good time to start to explore some form of therapy to help you engage with the deeper parts of your nature, so consider perhaps going to a see a conventional therapist or even a legitimate Psychic, Tarot Reader, or Astrologer. Scorpio is the deepest and darkest of the signs, but within those depths are the secrets and realizations that can set you free. With Neptune now retrograde in your House of Creativity aligning with Jupiter retrograde in your sign, this could be the time to let your subconscious out to play; experiment with some automatic writing, meditation, or formal ritual practice, you may be glad you did.

Sagittarius- As the Sun enters into your House of Transformation and aligns with Uranus, you may finally be willing to push back at a person or situation that’s been bothering you. Venus in your House of Philosophy and Mars in your House of Communication will likely motivate you to speak up for yourself, so first make sure you take the time to examine how you really feel about the way you’re being treated, especially over the coming weekend as a Scorpio Moon behind the scenes may have you feeling some resentment toward either a relative or a co-worker who really has no respect for you. Mercury in your House of Transformation opposing Pluto in your House of Self Worth could very well act as a liberating force right now to help you see more clearly the connection between how you feel about yourself and how much you earn. It’s important to remember that the art of negotiation is about asking for more than you want in order to make the other person feel good about talking you down to what you really wanted.

Capricorn- As the Sun enters your House of Relationships and Uranus enters your House of both Creativity and Romance, get ready for a relationship or work situation to either suddenly blossom or disintegrate. The good news is that whatever happens will likely be initiated by you, as you’re suddenly hit by the realization that life is too short to fart around. Mars in your House of Self Worth and Venus in your House of Transformation would agree, especially by the time the weekend rolls around with a Scorpio Moon entering into your House of Dreams to square the God of War and the Goddess of Love. Mercury is also in your House of Relationships and he will make you want to express your feelings, for better or worse, especially since the Messenger Planet is opposing transformative Pluto in your sign, which is nothing short of a complete liberation from rules or attitudes that restrict who you want to be in any way, shape, or form.

Aquarius- If you’re sick of your job then the time may have come for you to finally look for something else. The Sun entering your House of Work and Uranus shaking up your Foundation are both aligning with Saturn behind the scenes, making it clear once and for all that the situation you are currently in is tantamount to death if you remain there. Mars in your sign will give you all the energy you need to search for a new situation, while Venus passing through your House of Relationships would speak to both new connections as well as being able to rely on those you’ve worked with in the past to spread the word that you’re now available. Mercury is also in your House of Work and as the Messenger Planet aligns with both Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career and Neptune retrograde in your House of Self Worth, look at things this way, if you’re still worried about whether or not you’re doing the right thing by leaving your job then consider this- all the planets I’ve just mentioned are in water signs, therefore, if it “feels right” to be leaving then get the hell out and don’t look back!

Pisces- This is not the time for you to be a wallflower or shy in any way, especially at work. Mars behind the scenes may have you feeling a little anxiety about being ambitious, yet Venus in your House of Work is trying to tell you that there is certainly opportunity present if you’re interested. The Sun entering your House of Creativity aligning with Uranus in your House of Communication may inspire you toward some bright ideas to improve things on the job. If that’s the case, then make sure you share these ideas with someone who can not only help you implement your plan, but also make sure you’re adequately compensated for the contribution. Mercury is also in your House of Creativity and the Messenger Planet is moving into a Grand Trine with both Jupiter and Neptune, both of whom are retrograde. In the past you have held yourself back in work situations by not feeling as though you were the leadership type, if that’s the case now then look to the Grand Trine that was just mentioned to help you learn to trust yourself and your intuition about what is right in a situation. The best leaders operate on instinct so start testing yours.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #37 Weekly Horoscopes for 5/21-5/27, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 5/21-5/27, 2018

Hi kids!!! Here we are for another round of the inimitable Mr. Saturn’s Stars so, without further adieu, let’s roll up for the Magickal Mystery Tour, step right this way!!!

“Magick is letting

The Unknown transform what we

Think about ourselves”

Aries- The Sun in your House of Communications aligning with Mars in your House of Dreams will have you wanting to share your opinions with everyone in the world, just don’t be surprised if it also turns out that you have to listen to a bunch of shit you’d rather not hear as a response; such is the price for free speech. Uranus entering your House of Self Worth will have you wanting to do things your way, although Saturn in your House of Career will also feel a need to remind you there are protocols to follow, which Venus passing through Cancer will help you with, if only because right now everything you’re hoping to gain is unfortunately contingent on obtaining someone else’s approval. By the time the Moon enters your House of Partnerships to square Saturn and then Pluto, you will have calmed down sufficiently enough so that the grinding of your teeth in frustration over various delays will only be audible inside your own head and not to the people you need to have sign your check.

Taurus- Mars passing through your House of Public Image will have others expecting an awful lot from you, while Uranus entering your Sign will also have you worrying that if you can’t deliver on these demands that it will mean you are a bad person. Let Saturn in your House of Philosophy help you to remain confident and professional as it aligns first with a practical Virgo Moon and then with a serious Scorpio Moon to close the week. Meanwhile, Mercury transiting through your sign and aligning with both Jupiter in your House of Partnerships and Neptune in your House of Groups should also be of service in helping you to find the proper compromise between being able to serve others while also respecting yourself. As the week ends with Venus in opposition to Saturn you will likely be feeling both a sense of accomplishment at what you were able to get done as well as a sense of pride at being able to stand up for yourself.

Gemini- With the Sun entering your sign this week and aligning with Mars in your House of Travel and Philosophy your imagination will likely be running wild, just make sure that Uranus behind the scenes doesn’t have you dwelling on how certain things might have been different if you had made other choices in the past. Mercury is also passing behind the scenes now and as he aligns with both Jupiter and Neptune you could find a very unusual (and perhaps humorous) solution for something that has been a problem at work. Saturn in your House of Transformation opposing Venus in your House of Self Worth could have you thinking about whatever may be missing in your life, and since Venus is transiting the sign of Cancer it would be no surprise if the possibility of having children might seem more real now than it ever has before. Just make sure your partner feels the same before you get too carried away.

Cancer- At the beginning of the week Uranus in your House of Dreams will be squaring Mars in your House of Transformation, which could have you feeling quite anxious to see your circumstances at work change or, at the very least, operate much differently than they have as of late. Jupiter in your House of Creativity is opposing Mercury in Taurus and that likely has you totally focused on the way things are instead of the way they could be if you allowed yourself to think outside of the box. Let Neptune in your House of Philosophy provide you with a little inspiration; perhaps a short trip (or a long one) might be in order to clear your mind and your frazzled nerves. Even a short stay in some different circumstances should help unleash the power of that inventive Gemini Sun as it passes through your House of Confinement and shines a light to show you some possible ways out of the darkness.

Leo- How far can you push a Lion before it roars or before it actually bites your damn head off? With Uranus in your House of Public Image squaring Mars in your House of Relationships, the line in the sand regarding how much you will put up with from someone will be tested this week, so be prepared. How angry you get will most likely be in direct correlation to how much you are willing to put up with, so make sure to set clear boundaries with someone that you know will likely cross them. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Home aligning with Neptune in your House of Transformation could mean that the potential transgressor we’ve been talking about could be a family member, so make a serious vow to yourself to speak softly and carry a big stick; and don’t be afraid to use it if necessary! A hard lesson may be the only lesson this person can really understand.

Virgo- This week should offer you an object lesson in how real learning can’t be planned but rather occurs because we think something else is happening. Uranus in your House of Long Distance Affairs could be a hint that a surprise is coming your way via a foreign culture or even just a radically different way of thinking, while Mars in your House of Work and Routines will likely indicate that this unexpected occurence could turn out to be quite disruptive to your normal way of doing things. The savior here will probably be Saturn in your House of Creativity as it helps you to realize the holes in your usual philosophy so that you can prevent being exploited again in the future. No matter what happens though it is important that you express your displeasure in the moment rather than pretend it’s no big deal and then lose your shit later on. Support for expressing yourself honestly should come from Jupiter retrograde in opposition to Mercury as it helps you to realize (and hopefully break) a pattern of accommodation that has never really served you.

Libra- The Playwright Sam Shepard once said, “When you hit a wall- of your own imagined limitations- just kick it in.” With Mars passing through your House of Creativity and squaring Uranus in your House of Transformation, just be careful that this wall we’re talking about doesn’t unexpectedly fall on your head first. Both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Foundations are most likely mandating this inner restructuring, meaning the operative thing to keep in mind here is to stay loose and keep your toothbrush packed so you can jump on that reality train the second it pulls out.  Venus in your House of Career opposing Saturn would further indicate that any changes coming about now will probably have beneficial long term effects on both your personal life and public image, just realize that all of this will be on a need to know basis so try not to get either too tragic or too optimistic about any of it because in either case you just don’t know! And you won’t until you turn on a light one day and life unexpectedly yells from a once dark room you thought was empty, “SURPRISE!!!”

Scorpio- There could be some real fireworks this week as volatile Uranus in your House of Relationships squares aggressive Mars in your House of Family and you recoil in horror at the rude and condescending opinions some of your supposed loved ones actually have toward you. Saturn in your House of Communications will demand an aggressive, although measured response to this nonsense, meaning let these people know you’re pissed, but do it in such a way that they don’t have a chance to hide behind the diversionary excitement of a shouting match. Jupiter retrograde in your sign aligning with Neptune would speak to the need for compassion in your expression, however, when we are under attack it is important to be compassionate with ourselves first, for it allows us not to stoop to our attackers level by reacting as though their ignorant insults are true. So kill them with good manners, just make sure you kill them (not really….hahaha).

Sagittarius- The time has come. This week when the shit hits the fan at work you will definitely get some on you. In the past you have been stealth enough to avoid any splattering fecal matter, however, this time it’s going to be like Pearl Harbor and you will have to do something. So what will it be? Saturn in your House of Self Worth will be about acknowledging what’s right and what’s wrong and not equivocating between the two as a strategy to avoid involvement. Jupiter retrograde behind the scenes will be egging you on by reminding you how you never used to be such a wuss, so how come you’ve turned into such a big one now? And last but not least, Mercury aligning with Pluto will be about confronting the truth, both within yourself as well as in regards to what’s happening in real time around you. The ship is sinking, either man the lifeboats and get out, grab a bucket and start bailing, or mutiny if the Captain has proven to be batshit crazy……..MISTER CHRISTIAN!!!

Capricorn- You are a serious sign that is about long-term achievement, hence you can put up with a lot of crap and struggle for years to succeed. However, with Mars now in your House of Self Worth squaring Uranus in your House of Creativity, you may have finally reached the end of your patience and feel the time has come to set the whole shit house on fire (euphemistically speaking) if you can’t have what you need. You’re usually pretty reasonable, but it’s going to be tough to convince you to continue sitting back as Jupiter in no nonsense Scorpio opposes Mercury in stubborn and focused Taurus. As the Sun passes into the resourceful air sign of Gemini and your House of Work, cast a few lines out into the world and see if there are some new and/or developing situations that could use a person of your caliber and commitment. Mr. Saturn isn’t advocating setting that fire mentioned previously, although there is nothing wrong with checking out how the prevailing winds are blowing, just in case.

Aquarius- With Mars in your sign you’re convinced you know what you want and how to get it, although with the planet of action squaring Uranus in your House of Foundations you should well consider the proverb, “be careful what you wish for,” as the results of your inspired efforts may not be at all what you expected. Saturn behind the scenes with Pluto would represent the material fear that’s driving your desire to transform your circumstances, while Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career aligning with Neptune would speak to the emotional security that would come from eliminating your material needs. Ultimately it’s important that you realize neither of these pathologies represents a recipe for anything other than furthering your control issues. To truly liberate yourself, follow the lead of the Sun in Gemini and your House of Creativity and try to be flexible enough to bend in the winds of change like a bamboo, rather than attempting to resist and snapping like a new sappling.

Pisces- As Uranus in your House of Communication squares Mars in erratic Aquarius behind the scenes, try to keep your cool if any difficulties arise in regards to exiting a situation that is no longer tenable for you. Saturn in your House of Groups and Dreams represents the protocols necessary for both getting and giving up something at this point in time, so try to follow the natural order to the best of your ability and don’t cut corners. Any avoidance of responsibility at this time could bring on some unforeseen hassles in the near future that you will end up feeling very stupid about when a just a little due diligence could have avoided the whole mess. With the Sun sweeping through your House of Symbolic Foundations change is certainly in the wind, just make sure you tie the riggings and batten down the hatches so you can sail into your next port of call flying the flag of a successful Man of War and not stinking up the joint like a dilapidated old fishing boat.

Weekly Horoscopes for 4/2-4/8, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. I’m sorry about there being no horoscopes last week. I hope you didn’t have to go too far to find a substitute for the abuse you usually get here. At any rate I’m back, so if you’re ready for some snarky TLC let’s get going.

Aries- The Lunar Arc for you this week will begin in your House of Transformation and then continue through your Houses of Philosophy and Career, suggesting that this period could turn out to be a real psycho/spiritual turning point for you. The Regal and Lovely Benefics (Jupiter and Venus) are each aligning to support Pluto, Mars, and Saturn in your House of Public Image, meaning the terms “dress for success” and “you’re only as pretty as you feel” could be entirely interchangeable for you right now as you manage to light up wherever you are with that indefinable, yet irresistible something that makes people just want to throw money at it. A word to the wise, just make sure you don’t go head tripping as a result of this new charisma and inadvertently end up in someone’s  back pocket.

Taurus- With Venus transiting through your sign you are a very attractive tomato right now; just don’t allow the merchandise to be handled too much. Saturn in your House of Philosophy could represent the Sugar Daddy you dream about that would make your life easier, like a steady job with benefits and no prospects, while on the other hand Mars in the same House is the Back Door Man who would undoubtedly make your life more exciting, yet because of him you could end up “Like a Rolling Stone.” Hmmm, decisions, decisions! Jupiter Retrograde in Scorpio aligning with Pluto in Capricorn could add to this indecision by seeming like a shadow instead of a rainbow pointing to that pot of gold you’re always dreaming/worrying about, but that’s only because you need to learn that real wealth exists in the deep, dark recesses of your self rather than as a gift given to you by someone else.

Gemini- As Mars, Saturn, and Pluto all pass through your House of Death and Transformation, realize that the commitments you are contemplating now are not merely concepts but are rather the seeds that will grow to be harvested as your destiny. With that in mind, don’t be in a rush to get something moving when you’re still trying to figure out exactly where it’s headed or if you even want to go that way. Mercury Retrograde in your House of Dreams and Venus behind the scenes both represent the need to make sure you think through all your options before putting your name on the dotted line. In short, Mr. Saturn would advise, “measure twice and cut once,” unless of course you feel you have the time and materials to waste.

Cancer- Make sure you keep your rally cap on this week as Mercury Retrograde in Aries and your House of Career runs into a roadblock from the Malefics (Mars and Saturn) in your House of Partnerships. You may be doubting a course of action you have recently taken involving a matter at work, however, don’t automatically assume that because things are currently delayed that you have made a bad decision. Hope should come later in the week from Venus all decked out in her Taurus finery in your House of Dreams as she distracts those bullying Malefics from picking on poor Mercury and brings new meaning to the old saying, “it ain’t over until the fat lady sings,” although Lady Venus ain’t no fatty and she won’t be doing any singing, if you get my drift (ooh la la). Score one for the Femme Fatale.

Leo- Mercury Retrograde in your House of Philosophy is being cornered on a dead end street by a couple of thugs from your House of Daily Responsibilities in the form of Mars and Saturn (aka “The Malefics”). The question now for you my fine, furry friend is whether or not the threat being posed here is real or imagined. Is the message you are understanding from Mercury’s situation merely illustrating that you will never be anything more than a victim of circumstance in your life or will you instead take a risk and make those bullies fight for the right to oppress you? Just like the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz, perhaps some courage on your part now would reveal that these aren’t really bullies at all, but in fact teachers who have appeared to help you learn to stand up for yourself. “If it’s your first time in Fight Club you must fight!”

Virgo- With Mercury Retrograde in your House of Death and Intimacy squaring Mars and Saturn in your House of Creativity and Romance, perhaps this is a time for you to review rather than move ahead in regards to a project or even a relationship you’ve been involved in. As Hemingway once wrote in “The Sun Also Rises” regarding the ill fated affair of the story’s Hero and Heroine, “Isn’t it pretty to think so?” Contemplate these words well, for Neptune in your House of Relationships has you wrapped up in that psychosis some think of as love, yet at the same time you have also lost sight of the forest for the trees in regards to if you even really know this person you’re with. For your own safety make sure that all that glitters is in fact gold when it comes to matters of the heart. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

“I have never had

My heart broken but I have

Dropped it a few times”

Libra- If it feels as though you are living in a time warp while the past and the future seem to be “drawing and quartering” you, take heart, for this too shall pass. Mercury Retrograde in your House of Relationships squaring Mars and Saturn in your House of Symbolic Foundations could bring back a blast from the past in the form of someone whose last appearance in your life occurred when you originally broke through to being the person you have been up until now. Hopefully this will help you to realize that time is not linear, but a circle, and you have merely arrived back at your core issues for a necessary evolutionary review, kind of like flipping a pancake so it can get cooked on the other side. You are more formidable now than you realize and as Pluto aligns with Jupiter Retrograde you will soon see that the challenges of the past couple of months will end up turning into some pretty valuable currency as the Future comes to meet you more than halfway.

Scorpio- The Lunar Arc begins this week in your sign and then travels through your Houses of Earnings and Communication, which along with Mercury Retrograde in your House of Shared Resources, will probably have you thinking a lot right now about how much you’re getting out of a certain situation as opposed to how much you should be getting from it. Mars and Saturn in your House of Creativity will likely have you feeling stifled, which believe it or not could lead you to one of the best ideas you’ve ever had due to a helping hand from Venus in your House of Philosophy. You’ll only ever make as much as you feel you deserve and Jupiter aligning with Pluto are just the pair to motivate you to take a hard look in the mirror until you can honestly say to yourself, “Hell Yeah I’m worth it!”  By the weekend when the Sun and Mars start grappling together you should be all over the situation like white on rice!!!

Sagittarius- The Moon in your sign will start the week in a square with Neptune, which could have you feeling either overly optimistic or pessimistic. Mercury retrograde in your House of Creativity in harsh aspect to a whole bunch of Capricorn planets in your House of Self Worth will eventually set matters straight and in all likelihood be about rethinking or, in some cases, redoing something you already thought was a done deal. If that’s the case, take it easy, it doesn’t mean you’re a bad person because you overlooked something or made a mistake, no matter what you may hear emotional Jupiter rant about behind the scenes. Right now Mars and Saturn in your House of Earnings may have you feeling stuck and under appreciated, but stay calm and keep plugging. As the song goes, “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need.”

Capricorn- With Venus in your House of Creativity and Romance speeding into a beneficial aspect with Mars and Saturn conjunct in your sign, it will be important to realize that the seeds you sow and the deeds you perform at this time will be very important in establishing a foundation for a future you can’t fully picture just yet. Neptune in your House of Communication will be involved in this as well, meaning that there is a strong likelihood that both romance and art could play very important roles in transforming how you think about yourself. Jupiter will also have something to do with this as he aspects Pluto as traditionally these two together usually imply increased monetary resources, meaning you should stop  worrying about the small stuff and just go ahead and get busy doing what needs to be done.

Aquarius- There are times when you can be extremely critical of both yourself and others and with Mercury Retrograde in your House of Communication angling against Mars, Saturn, and Pluto behind the scenes, this could be the time when you finally begin to realize what that’s all about. Neptune in your House of Self Worth has been playing with you for a while, which has only been about trying to get you to see that your value in life is not determined by the approval of others, whether that means always feeling you need to be doing more or else constantly striving to be the center of attention. A simple joke that Mr. Saturn has always liked goes, “Descartes said “to do is to be”, Buddha said “to be is to do”, and Sinatra sang “Do be do be do…” Think about it.

Pisces- This has probably been a year of struggle for you so far and with Mercury Retrograde in your House of Self Worth squaring Mars, Saturn, and Pluto in your House of Dreams, the likelihood is that this battle will be continuing for a while longer. The good news though is if you can hear what Mercury Retrograde is trying to tell you now then some very meaningful insights await in regards to improving your relationships with others and feeling better about yourself. Venus in sensual Taurus and your House of Communication could represent the influence of someone who can help you let go of some of those anxieties you have always thought were just who you are, when in actuality they really represent certain coping mechanisms and who you have learned to be. Things are different now, maybe it’s time for you to be different as well?

*All prizes will be made by my favorite Witch, the lovely and powerful MagicalLuna aka “Mrs. Saturn.”

Good Luck to you all!!!

Aries- Whatever it is you may want there is a way to get it and a way not to get it. Mercury and Venus in your sign squaring Saturn in your House of Career will be staging this debate as the week unfolds, therefore, consider your career choices wisely; not only who you cultivate but who you annoy as well. As Mars slowly gets ready to pass from Sagittarius to Capricorn and enter into a conjunction with Saturn by the end of the month, realize that your conduct now could either establish a solid foundation for your future or else stop you in your tracks next month.

Taurus- As the New Moon in Pisces approaches you are keenly aware of your emotional needs as well as how these desires are not being met. It is important though for you to be honest with yourself and realize that the type of association you’re looking for can only be the result of time and commitment, which you will be reminded of as Mars enters Capricorn to join Saturn and Pluto at exactly the same time as the new Moon dawns in Pisces and trines Jupiter in your house of Relationships. If you don’t have “The” Love of your life yet, at least try to enjoy the love that already surrounds you, of which there is plenty from both friends and family.

Gemini- Make sure that you look before you leap this week as your legendary Gemini impulsiveness could find you caught in a free fall without a parachute. Whatever you expect from others, either in your close relationships or on the job, anything that is spoken about now is going to require a thorough process before it will bear fruit. Mars and Uranus in aspect to start the week will rile you up, but by the weekend when Mars enters Capricorn to join Saturn and Pluto the natural order of things will already have taken over and no amount of emotionalism spurred on by The Sun aligning with Jupiter will change anything. Try to be patient, or at least try not to shoot yourself in the foot.

Cancer- Mars aligning with Uranus to start the week will bring a fast and furious barrage of challenges and the Sun moving into aspect with Jupiter could lead to some intense feelings about what’s going on. On the other hand, Mercury and Venus in Aries should make you quick on your feet and give you the gift of gab as you manage to negotiate yourself through this maze of difficulties. By the time the weekend rolls around Mars, Saturn, and Pluto will all be in your House of Relationships and as they alternate aligning with Neptune in your House of Philosophy, make sure you take the time to appreciate all the love you have in your life. No matter how tough things may seem, you are not alone. Fight the good fight and remember, “A life well loved is a life well lived.”

Leo- With Mercury and Venus now in Aries and squaring Saturn in your House of Work, this is the time for you to get moving out of a dead end job! Jupiter retrograde coming into alignment with Pluto is reminding you that you have already paid your dues in the trenches and now it’s time to move on to something bigger and better. The New Moon in your House of Death and Transformation has already started sketching out some new scenarios in your imagination as to what your future could look like with a career makeover, all that remains now is for you to get inspired and start sending out those applications and resumes.

Virgo- You have spent a while now trying to build up a creative project and now you’re in the home stretch. The last hurdle to overcome is to get out there and promote what you’re doing. Mercury and Venus squaring Saturn in your House of Creativity are chomping at the bit to spread the word so what are you waiting for? Let those Chatty Kathy’s out of the corral so they can schmooze up the countryside. On another note, the New Moon in your House of Relationships aligning with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Communications could see a break through in a stalemate that has been going on between you and a partner. The connection between the two of you was never really threatened, it was just that each of you were changing (for the better) and now you’ve come around that learning curve. Why not celebrate!

Libra- You have been experiencing the ground shifting underneath your feet for a while now, perhaps the time has come for you to pull a “Network” and go to your window, open it up, and shout, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore!” Mercury and Venus in your House of Relationships squaring Saturn (and very soon Mars) in your House of Symbolic Foundations would indicate it’s no longer about hoping the current will carry you along, instead you need to start paddling ferociously toward the challenges that are waiting for you like a gang of bullies in the schoolyard. Just make a commitment to yourself that no one is getting your lunch money, no matter what! The New Moon in Pisces aligning with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Self Worth should help you find that inspiration you need to keep going. As they used to say in the 60’s, “Keep the Faith, Baby.”

Scorpio- Mercury and Venus in your House of Work and Routines should guarantee a busy week, while Saturn in your House of Communication should provide you with the vision and authority to effectively delegate whatever tasks may be too much for you to handle. On the other hand, Mars in Sagittarius aligning with Uranus in Aries could activate your natural control issues and make you want to instead try and do everything yourself. When Mars enters Capricorn later in the week and approaches a conjunction with Saturn, you will no doubt see the error in your judgment and reconsider asking for help. As the New Moon comes into aspect with Jupiter retrograde over the weekend this help could likely arrive as a very timely payback for a good deed you performed in the past. What goes around comes around so enjoy it.

Sagittarius- Mars should be leaving your sign with a bang this week as it trines Uranus in your House of Fun and Creativity. Enjoy the moment while you can because Mars will have to put on the breaks almost immediately afterwards as it enters Capricorn and comes right up on the bumper of Mr. Saturn. Of course with Mercury and Venus already in your House of Fun and both of them squaring Saturn you’ll probably be tempted to keep pushing your agenda when in fact you should be getting down to business and following the rules. A word to the wise, Jupiter retrograde aligning with the New Moon and moving ever closer to Pluto should bring you all the resources you need, but only if you’re willing to listen to what the man say’s and walk the straight and narrow. This is not the time to bite off your nose to spite your face.

Capricorn- By the end of this week you will have Pluto, Saturn, and Mars all in your sign. This is a notable trio that should give you some real gravitas in whatever situations you may find yourself. In addition to these heavy hitters you will also have a beneficial placement of Neptune in your House of Communication, which will no doubt allow you to be the perfect example of being able to talk softly because you have a big stick. Unfortunately though you may have to use that stick on the home front as Mercury and Venus in Aries could motivate a partner or relative to get a little too pushy for your liking. Jupiter retrograde backing up toward Pluto is all about you remembering to value yourself, so don’t spare the discipline when it comes to anyone disrespecting you.

Aquarius- You are undergoing a lot of renovation behind the scenes as Saturn, Pluto, and Mars get to work tearing your ego down to the studs. Neptune in your House of Self Worth could either facilitate this process toward spiritual growth, or else resist it causing you to become lost in an enchanted forest of ego. Either way the New Moon in that same House of Self Worth aligning with Jupiter in your House of Public Image will have you feeling a lot more emotional than usual. Mercury and Venus in your House of Communication will in turn have you talking up a storm, the question is will you be whining and making excuses or promoting solutions? At this point we’re back again to Saturn, Pluto, and Mars behind the scenes, so what other choice do you have except to let the renovation proceed?

Pisces- A weak person will let their difficulties define them, while a strong person will redefine him or herself in order to prevail over their circumstances. With Mercury and Venus in your House of Self Worth squaring Saturn (and soon Mars) in your House of Dreams, you are in just such a situation, so what are you going to do? The New Moon in your sign this week will trine Jupiter as the the King of the Planets retrogrades toward Pluto, meaning that the real issue for you now is not about failure or success, rather it is about the ability to see yourself as you truly are and realize the challenges of life are about your evolution and not your status. A Pisces Native from the past once said, “It is not those who can inflict the most, but those who can suffer the most who will win.”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #25 Weekly Horoscopes for 2/26-3/4, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 2/26 – 3/4, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. In case you didn’t know, I am a New Yorker and proud of the fact that “assault weapons” are banned in our state. I <3 NY

Aries- A word to the wise; you may be your own worst enemy this week so if you’re feeling antsy try counting to 10 (or 100 if necessary) to prevent your natural impetuousness from ignoring the writing on the wall that’s telling you to take it slow and go with the flow. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Career are making sure you’re moving along steadily like the little engine that could, yet it’s Mars in Sagittarius squaring a whole crowd of Pisces planets behind the scenes that has you not trusting that the limits confronting you now are there for a reason. Your animal totem is the Ram, so you naturally associate strength with the ability to relentlessly forge ahead without a break, however, with Venus in your House of Psychic Power aligning with Jupiter, the time has come for you to learn about “The Voice of the Silence,” that awareness which enables one to hear their inner wisdom, “just as the form to which the clay is modeled, is first united with the potter’s mind.”

Taurus- As a Fixed Earth Sign you certainly have your control issues, however, the time has come for you to realize that the need for control is really just a lack of trust in your ability to creatively adjust to a situation. A bunch of Pisces Planets in your House of Dreams no doubt have you fantasizing about your ambitions, yet in the meantime Saturn and Pluto in your House of Philosophy and Jupiter in Your House of Partnerships are trying to remind you that there are certain responsibilities to be performed first if you really hope to succeed. Of course now you’ll probably start feeling guilty (and lazy) about what you’re not doing, meaning that Mars in your House of Legacies will likely be the ultimate determinant here as it squares the aforementioned dreamy Pisces Planets and scares you into action. Three cheers for negative reinforcement, though it can be quite exhausting. Just make sure you get your rest after making this whole business of wanting something a lot harder than it needs to be.

Gemini- For a Mutable Air Sign known for being adaptable, you can certainly find yourself in some real power plays where you end up proving just how stubborn you can really be. For instance, if there is something that you want (or need) from a current partner or a colleague, why don’t you just try asking them directly instead of frustrating yourself by waiting for them to figure it out. You can be righteous and say they should know without you telling them, but what is that kind of attitude on your part really about? The need to always be viewed as a nice person often ends up with you not being nice to yourself and that’s ultimately no one’s fault but your own. The Lunar Arc this week will traverse your Houses of Communication, Symbolic Foundations, and Creativity, so pay special attention to saying what you mean and meaning what you say and then be willing to allow the chips to fall where they may.

Cancer- Mr. Saturn likes to say, “Luck is about who you are, not what you do.” Venus in your House of Philosophy this week aligning harmoniously with Jupiter in your House of Creativity will reinforce these words of wisdom from Mr. Saturn, but only if you’re willing to listen and go after what you want without all the doubt you normally like to sabotage yourself with ahead of time. Venus will also be aligning with Pluto this week as well, so whatever difficulties you have been going through expect to rise from the ashes like the proverbial Phoenix and move toward those glorious horizons you have been envisioning for yourself and your loved ones. If your health has been a burden as of late, make sure you take the time to rest, not only to help your body heal but also to soothe your nerves. The Lunar Arc this week will see the Moon pass through your Houses of Self Worth, Thinking, and Symbolic Foundations, meaning that whatever bad habits you’re willing to let go of now could allow you to experience that “Unbearable Lightness of Being” you’ve always dreamed would be part of your destiny.

Leo- As a Fixed Fire Sign you can have some really strange notions about the world, yet has it ever occurred to you that some of these ideas may actually illustrate how you feel about yourself rather than what the world is like? With this in mind, a bad situation may ultimately be about what you’re not doing for yourself rather than any malice being directed at you. Mars in your House of Creativity is likely frustrating you right now, however don’t assume it’s because of a lack of opportunity. To truly be creative often means having to manifest something out of nothing, which is ultimately an indication of how you feel about yourself rather than the materials that may or may not be at hand. With an abundance of mutable planets in your chart at this time your level of success will ultimately depend upon how much you’re willing to let yourself be transformed by the challenges life presents you, rather than trying to maintain a stance that is more about your ego than your evolution.

Virgo- You may be feeling cornered this week in regards to some mixed messages you’re receiving from a partner. You don’t have to be a mind reader to already know this person can be insecure and stubborn, yet what’s probably more important for you at this time is to ask yourself exactly what you want and need from this relationship. Going tit for tat with this individual is a flat waste of your time simply because it allows them to draw a line in the sand and justify whatever it is they believe. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Creativity is all about you determining the rules of engagement for this situation, which means do what you need to do and let this person have their learning experience about just how much control one person can be allowed over another. If you’re truly coming from a place of what’s fair and you sincerely have love in your heart, then as Jupiter trines Venus this week the two of you could experience a very positive turning point in this relationship.

Libra- If you think you can detach from the emotional changes that are happening to those you care for, then you probably don’t understand the gravity of your situation. With Saturn and Pluto moving ever so slowly through your House of Symbolic Foundations, it’s important for you to realize that the whole world is transforming and in the near future your comfort zone is also going to be obliterated like a sandcastle being swept away by the incoming tide. Jupiter in your House of Self Worth aligning with Venus in your House of Daily Routines and Work could be the silver lining in this current storm cloud, provided you can go with the flow and are willing to take one for the team. You’re not in this alone, therefore realize how important it is that you respect those close to you and the sacrifices they have made so you all can get through this challenging time together. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

The first way is “me,”

The second, “you,” the third, “we,”

The fourth, “what to do?”

Scorpio- Your intuition is particularly sharp now, especially in terms of knowing what will be successful in regards to a creative or work project you have been given control of. Opinions are like noses, everybody has one, except right now you can really smell where the roses of success are blooming so make sure you don’t let yourself get distracted by the cheap perfume of a hater’s ego. Venus and Mercury aligning with Jupiter in your sign this week should help to put you in the right place at the right time and with the addition of Pluto in your House of Communication and Thinking and Mars in your House of Earnings, your performance, leadership, and insights should bring you some well deserved rewards. Make sure you enjoy these victor’s spoils with that special someone who was willing to wait patiently in the wings while you were out conquering the world.

Sagittarius- Your success this week may hinge on what you don’t do rather than what you feel compelled to do, especially if you’re acting out of guilt or from pressure being exerted on you by someone else. Mars in your sign now will be providing a lot of energy, just make sure that this power source doesn’t turn you into an obsessive-compulsive who can be manipulated by anyone that is able to hone in on your insecurities and approval issues. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Self Worth should help with keeping you focused, although as I began by saying, perhaps this focus should be more on recognizing what you shouldn’t be doing rather than what your insecurities or someone else’s guilt trip are compelling you to do. Refuse to be held hostage by anyone who is reminding you of your past mistakes. Mr. Saturn has a haiku for you this week;

“Regret is fear of

What needs to be done next placed

In the wrong context”

Capricorn- With Saturn and Pluto in your sign “The times they are a-changin’”…and with The Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Neptune in the sign of Pisces and the House governing your mental abilities, your consciousness is evolving as well. If there’s a problem existing here it would have to be Mars behind the scenes in Sagittarius attempting to pollute any new found wisdom you may have recently acquired with some all too familiar paranoid blasts from the past. Believe the messages provided to you now as Jupiter in your House of Dreams and Groups trines Venus and you receive tangible feedback that you are an important person to those you are surrounded by. Let the cheers of your supporters elevate you to meet the necessary challenges ahead.

Aquarius- Saturn and Pluto behind the scenes are currently reminding you of what still needs to be done in your career, which is probably making you feel like you’re falling behind. The mark of an advanced person (and you certainly fancy yourself one) is that they hear criticism as encouragement if it motivates them to take action. That’s the high side of this Saturn/Pluto transit so make sure you get on it. Jupiter aligning harmoniously with Venus in your House of Earnings this week could bring you an unexpected windfall or gift that could help you hear that Saturn/Pluto chatter with a bit less worry. Mars moving into aspect with Uranus in your House of Communication could be either a stroke of genius or some self-destructive rebelliousness, therefore think twice before you let your freak flag fly right now if you have hopes of eventually unfurling it from the highest mountaintop. Nuff said!!!

Pisces- With the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and Neptune in your sign and all of them aligning with Jupiter in your House of Philosophy, this could be a time of great insight, especially in areas that previously had either confused you or were of no particular consequence due to a lack of experience. These situations have probably come about because you have either been cornered by circumstances that are requiring you to do something different, or else your own ambitions have lead you to specific obstacles that must be overcome in order to succeed. Either way Mars in your House of Career and Uranus in your House of Self Worth will be pushing you to rise to the occasion and make your creative ambitions a tangible reality. Meanwhile, Saturn and Pluto in your House of Dreams will motivate you to be more thorough, responsible, and dependable toward others than you ever have before. This could be your time little fishy so stroke….stroke…..

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #20 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/22 – 1/28, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/22 – 1/28, 2018

Hi kids!!! The Sun is now solidly in the sign of Aquarius and as the song goes,

“Harmony and understanding

Sympathy and trust abounding

No more falsehoods or derisions

Golden living dreams of visions

Mystic crystal revelations

And the mind’s true liberation…”

Yeah, right, first though we’ll have to get over this current “Fire and Fury,” reopen the government, and then decide which form of “shit story” we want to believe. No puedo!!!

Aries- With the power couple of The Sun and Venus in your House of Groups this week you need to get out there and work the room! I know you think networking can be phony, but that’s only if you’re a charlatan. With Mercury approaching a conjunction with Pluto in your House of Career you are nothing short of a stone cold killer now, except with a fashion sense, charm, and integrity. In fact you’ll probably be the sharpest tool in any shed you find yourself in at this time, so make sure you ninja up and subtly make sushi out of whatever (and whoever) stands in your way. The arc of the Moon this week begins in your sign and then continues through your Houses of Earnings and Communication, meaning get out and “do you” without any apologies, and remember the line from Glengarry Glen Ross, “A-B-C… A-Always, B-Be, C-Closing… Always be closing, always be closing.”

Taurus- Mercury and Pluto are getting thick as thieves in your House of Philosophy right now, meaning your “Spidey Sense” will be tingling like crazy and you’ll feel like you just know stuff before it happens. Add Jupiter in Scorpio and your House of Relationships to the aforementioned mix and no one will be able to escape your X-ray vision. No one. Later in the week when Mars enters Sagittarius and opposes the Moon in Gemini make sure you don’t feel too much sympathy for someone close to you that has just made a mistake you knew they were going to make. With all your power of insight now, realize that how you dole out your sympathy in this situation will mark an important evolutionary step for you in terms of being able to shut down manipulative people who try to take advantage of your good nature. Mr. Saturn say’s, “the bait and switch works because the mark takes the bait.” Nuff said!!!

Gemini- It is one thing to see through other people’s BS, it is quite another matter if what they’re doing throws you off your game so that you end up playing by their rules. Mercury and Pluto will join hands in your House of Transformation midweek and together these two represent penetrating insight. Add to this an alignment with Jupiter and any secrets discovered at this time could turn into some very valuable knowledge for the future. However, keep in mind, if this knowledge doesn’t translate into a sense of self-empowerment for you then it’s merely data. You must realize that what needs to change here is not someone else’s bad (that’s their karma). To really benefit from discovering someone else’s manipulations or bad behaviour you must be able to see how what they’ve done is a way to help you realize your own truth. When Mars moves into Sagittarius and opposes the Moon on your relationship axis just before the weekend, make sure that you’re not blaming anyone else for what’s going on if it’s you who are giving your power away.

Cancer- With the impending conjunction of Mercury and Pluto in your House of Relationships about to align with Jupiter in your House of Creativity, the important thing now is to rethink how you interact with others. Not in terms of any surface behavior, but rather how you feel about yourself before a face-to-face even occurs. The power couple of Venus and the Sun now transiting through your House of Transformation will suggest you set aside your emotional shoulder bag and all the heavy stuff it contains from the past. As Mars enters your House of Work over the weekend let its newly acquired Sagittarius optimism inspire you to action. Try not to hesitate because of the fear you sense in others who still have hang-ups you outgrew long ago. This can be a turnaround week for you philosophically if you can just try to behave like you’re at a New Orleans funeral. In other words, bury the sadness from the past and turn the dirge that accompanied your entrance into a jazzy theme for your exit.

Leo- All of the fixed signs can be oblivious at times, but you Lion people can really take that clueless ball and run with it. As a result, the Mercury/Pluto conjunction this week in your House of Daily Routines could really end up being a slap in the face that you don’t see coming. With Jupiter in Scorpio moving through your House of Family, don’t be surprised if one or more of your relatives have a bone to pick with you. Of course you’ll react badly because you won’t know what they’re talking about. Let me spell it out for you. The Lunar Arc this week goes from Aries through Taurus to Gemini, or from selfishness to responsibility to adapting. In other words, it’s time to shift your priorities from what’s easy to what’s necessary because you’ve been taking someone else’s efforts for granted and they’re done with your sense of entitlement. As the Moon ends the week in Cancer and your House of Confinement, you’re likely going to feel that these recent criticisms directed at you have been unfair and your accusers are cold and insensitive. Try to realize (if you can) that this is not about what you’ve done, but what you haven’t done. Try a little humility instead of being righteous and in all likelihood you’ll be forgiven. Like the Beatles sang, “Man I was mean but I’m changing my scene and I’m doing the best that I can.”

Virgo- You could very well have an “aha” moment this week regarding a creative challenge. If that’s the case, thank Mr. Mercury and Mr. Pluto for all their great investigative work. Of course Jupiter in your House of Thinking and Communication was also instrumental in this epiphany, not to mention the Sun and Venus in detached Aquarius for helping you to put your frustration aside and keep your nose to the grindstone. Of course this doesn’t mean they’ll be blue skies from now on, especially since Mars will be entering your House of Home and on its arrival will oppose a Gemini Moon in your House of Public Image. Foggy Neptune is involved in this meeting as well as he throws in his two cents from your House of Relationships. You can’t be all things for all people so determine some priorities for yourself and be matter of fact with those who want to drink your blood. Mr. Saturn’s Haiku this week is for you;

“Doing for others

What they should do themselves is

A control issue”

Libra- The Magickal term that will describe this week for you is “Crossing the Abyss.” In a nutshell this means that you’ll likely have to let go of something old so that something new can come into your life. This probably sounds cool, but most people are very attached to who they have learned to be in order to fit in with everyone else, therefore, this transition might end up being really uncomfortable based on the reactions you get from others. I know this isn’t necessarily good news for you endlessly equivocating Libra folk, but you’ll probably realize it was all for the best on the back end. Mercury and Pluto conjunct in your House of Symbolic Foundations could signal some really important discoveries, especially since they both align with Jupiter in your House of Self Worth. This could mean a possible windfall of cash or an unusual opportunity. It could also be a meaningful transition, like when Dr. Bruce Banner turns into the Incredible Hulk. Granted, he does usually lose a set of clothes, but on the other hand he also gains super powers. Sounds stressful, I know, which is why Mr. Saturn feels you deserve a haiku this week;

“You can’t expect what

Will set you free, only hope

That you accept it”

Scorpio- The natural detective in you will likely be inspired to come out this week, so, what do you think you might find? Well, Mr. Saturn ain’t gonna be no spoiler and ruin a good mystery, but as a hint you should pay attention to Mercury and Pluto digging around in your House of Education and communicating with Jupiter in your sign. The Lunar Arc going from your House of Work through your House of Partnerships and then into your house of Legacies could mean…uh-uh, no more hints. Oh, okay…Somebody may want to reward your good work with something nice….nuff said!!! The Sun and Venus are playing house in your Home and Family area, which could mean your investigative skills could be directed toward some home decorating, or you could end up having a guest for a while. Just make sure you set some boundaries with this person so you don’t have to discover something bad about them that you didn’t know before. Then again, that’s what makes a good mystery; the detective never suspects where the original crime will lead. As the song goes, “I don’t know how much more of this I can take/ She’s filing her nails while they’re dragging the lake….”

Sagittarius- Pay attention to the writing on the wall this week and you just might be able to uncover some information that could help you dodge a bullet that’s being aimed at your back by someone you thought was a friend. Jupiter in your House of Secrets will act as a protective influence, thereby allowing you to follow with impunity the lead being forged by Mercury and Pluto in solid Capricorn as they investigate behind the scenes to uncover whatever it is you need to know. The Lunar Arc this week would further suggest you being the detective as it crosses your Houses of Creativity, Work, and Partnerships, meaning you could stand to benefit in all three areas. When Mars enters your sign at the end of the week it will oppose the Moon in your House of Relationships, reiterating what was mentioned earlier about defending yourself from some slanderous rumors being circulated by a dubious source. Nebulous Neptune will also be involved here so Mr. Saturn would suggest following this sage advice, “Use all your well-learned politesse/ Or I’ll lay your soul to waste, mm yeah.”

Capricorn- With Mercury and Pluto coming together in your sign this week the time has come when you need to look people in the eye and shoot straight at the target. Jupiter in your House of Groups is aligning solidly with this need for honesty, so make sure you do the right thing even if it seems like it might lead to a hassle. Whether you realize it or not others are looking to your lead so trust your instincts and people will trust you. The Sun and Venus are a power couple in your House of Earned Income now so make sure you “do you” without any apologies and you should see your brand escalate in value right before your eyes. Later in the week Mars will enter your House of Confinement and oppose a Gemini Moon in your House of Work. After the principled stand you made to start the week try to refrain now from either being overly opportunistic or slipping into a sort of lazy limbo where you feel you have somehow earned the right to coast for awhile on your accomplishments. As Grace Slick once sang, “Two Heads can be put together/ And you can fill both your feet with sand/No one will know you’ve gutted your mind/ But what will you do with your bloody hands?”

Aquarius- On the surface you’re all charm and glitz right now due to the fact that both the Sun and Venus are cake walking through your sign. Behind the scenes though Mercury and Pluto are rummaging around for something deeper and less ephemeral than the shiny sequins of Venus. Jupiter in your House of Public Image and Career will continue to puff up these illusions, yet at the same time the King of the Planets is also slipping deeper into the shadows being opened up by the investigations of both Mercury and Pluto. Simply put, this is a time of initiation for you so try not to accept much of anything at face value. There is both an angel and a devil within you right now that needs to be dealt with and the one that wins will be the one you feed. Just remember Robert Mitchum’s murderous character in “The Night of the Hunter” when he exhibits the tattoos of Love and Hate on his fingers and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Pisces- Neptune rules both illusion and higher consciousness and as this foggy planet currently transits through your sign it should not be unusual for you to have alternating experiences of both profound confusion and liberating enlightenment. The second of these two states will likely begin your week as the Sun and Venus infuse your inner depths with a sense of universal love. Meanwhile, a Mercury/Pluto conjunction in your House of Dreams will alternately provide you with a deep awareness of your responsibilities. You know clearly at this time what the right thing to do is and, amazingly enough, you will likely try your best to do it. Jupiter in your House of Philosophy will motivate you to rise to the occasion for a loved one, which will probably play out in real time as Mars enters noble Sagittarius just before the weekend and you square off with someone whose questionable behavior you can no longer ignore. The Lunar Arc will give you a temporary respite from some recent financial difficulties, so don’t be surprised if you become the recipient of some timely generosity, either through an unusual opportunity or an unexpected gift.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #18 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/8 -1/14, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/8 – 1/14, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“Within the province of the mind, what I believe to be true is true or becomes true, within the limits to be found experientially and experimentally. These limits are further beliefs to be transcended.”

– John C. Lilly M.D.

Aries- At the beginning of the week Venus transiting through your House of Career and Public Image will be like Liza Minnelli performing the song “New York, New York.” First she will flirt with a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Legacies, then she’ll partner up with Pluto and the Sun for a smashing crescendo that will likely light up your future in a way that you didn’t expect. Next Mercury will cross your mid-heaven and join Saturn in Capricorn, which should bring some important news. This message may not be fabulous but it will be important in terms of giving you some confirmations about your long-term visions that you’ve been keeping to yourself. The Lunar Arc for the week may re-introduce a partnership that has been drifting or perhaps bring in a new influence that will help you let go of a dream that has faded. In the words of Led Zep, “Ramble On.”

Taurus- How much are you willing to change your life for someone? With a Sun/Venus/Pluto conjunction aligning with a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Partnerships to start the week, someone is going to put you through some paces you never thought you’d go through. Could this be love, destiny, or perhaps even the emergence of your truly mystical higher self? Who knows? But you may just be willing to get on a plane, train, or even a spaceship for this journey to a far corner of the world (or your mind). Of course Mr. Saturn is laughing, but with you not at you. After all, he knows him some Taurus’s and he’s just as pleased as punch that you’re finally willing to lighten up and let go for once. “Like the song say’s, “Turn off your mind, relax, and float downstream….it is not dying….”

Gemini- With the Sun, Venus, and Pluto all conjunct in your House of Transformation the deeper mysteries of life, death, and the universe will hold a profound fascination for you at this time. Perhaps a life-changing event like a birth or the passing of someone has set off this contemplative mood? Nevertheless, with Jupiter and Mars conjunct in Scorpio and your House of Daily Routines you will be looking to bring more meaning into your life on a nuts and bolts level. The Lunar Arc this week will begin in your House of Creativity and end in your House of Partnerships. This could cause you to question the nature of a relationship and ultimately confront the other party on exactly where you are both headed as a couple. Unless this relationship can start yielding certain out comes, you have to start asking yourself, what is the point?

Cancer- You intuitively feel that you have recently embarked upon a very important period in your life, kind of like Hiawatha heading in his canoe toward the sunrise and the symbolic spirit world. With the Sun, Venus, and Pluto all in your House of Relationships, you are also well aware that the time has come to evaluate many of the people in your life and start to determine who can fit in the canoe with you and who can’t. Jupiter and Mars now in Scorpio and your House of Creativity are causing a deep tremor of creative inspiration to well up from the depths of your soul and you are clearly aware that you are awakening to a deeper and richer world of inspiration and meaning than you ever thought was possible. This transformation will be mixed with both pain and pleasure so it is imperative for you to commit to the urgings of your Higher Self and persevere! Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

“Destiny is the

Inheritance we get from

Fate after a choice”

Leo- This is a time when great responsibility is looming and it is important for you to take care of business. The tricky part is that you could very well shirk what is expected of you with some very reasonable excuses, yet you know what the truth is. As a result, this time is more a matter of personal honor rather than anyone demanding anything of you or trying to make you feel guilty. Do you have what it takes? The Sun, Venus, and Pluto all conjunct in your House of Daily Responsibilities is about walking the walk and not just talking the talk, while Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Home and Family should be seen as a warning that what you neglect now will likely come back at some point in the future like a contract assassin you can’t escape. As Russell Crow told his troops in Gladiator, “What we do here echoes in eternity!”

Virgo- This is an interesting time for you Virgins, the world is your suitor and you can either play the situation like an actual virgin or like an experienced vixen, which will it be? The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in Capricorn and your House of Romance would suggest you act more like Scarlett O’Hara than Melanie Hamilton, while Jupiter and Mars in your House of Communication are telling you to quietly and confidently go out and get whatever it is you want. The Lunar Arc this week will further reiterate the theme of self worth and accomplishment as it begins in your House of Self Worth and ends in the House of Creativity. As Southside Johnny used to sing, “They say there’s a limit to endurance/I know that I haven’t reached mine/All I want is everything!”

Libra- One of the great illusions of the American Dream is that of rugged individualism, simply because very little of true and lasting value is ever accomplished in this life without “A Little Help From My Friends.” Of course those who would seek to divide us promote the myths of glorious loners and rebels, simply because if we can ever learn to trust each other and work together we might displace those very folks who are misleading us. This is a lesson you will learn in spades this week as The Sun, Pluto, and Venus in your House of Family and Foundations align with Jupiter and Mars in your House of Self Worth, making this is a time where you might be asked to sacrifice something for a greater good. Mr. Saturn suggests you consider those you love and need as well as those who love and need you and likely you’ll come to understand what true strength (and success) is really about.

Scorpio- In Zen the term “Satori” describes the epiphany of seeing one’s true nature. This moment of truth has come for you as the Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Thinking align with Jupiter and Mars in your House of Self. It is not necessary that any bells or whistles go off when this enlightenment happens, in fact it might even come for you very undramatically in a quiet moment alone. The important thing is that you let this current of truth rise upwards from the core of your being. The Lunar Arc this week further indicates that this current will likely be stirred as a result of some confusion or disappointment that you’ll eventually realize was intended to break down your comfort zone so your true self would be forced to act. As this Arc culminates, the Moon will be in your House of Self Worth, meaning that you will finally come to the realization that to change the world you must first change the way you perceive it. As the song goes, “Can you picture what will be, so limitless and free, desperately in need of a stranger’s hand in a desperate land?”

Sagittarius- With the Moon starting the week in Libra and your House of Dreams, you might find yourself assessing your lot in life and questioning why can’t things be different? The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Self Worth are a powerful trio and together they are all about attainment and transformation, so the energy for change is there if you want it. Jupiter and Mars in your House of Secrets and the cathartic sign of Scorpio are symbolic of a deep inner drive to evolve, a process that you have been repressing for far too long. Neptune will continue to linger for a while in your House of Family and it is important for you to realize that this watery planet of inspirations and illusions is all about breaking through the veils that separate us from the truth of ourselves. To quote the words from a song by a fellow Sag, “Who scared you and why were you born?”

Capricorn- There comes a time in one’s life when you just feel beyond the shadow of a doubt that a certain thing will come to pass. This knowing is not a loud voice from within, but a quiet, penetrating one, like the vocals in the song “Riders on the Storm” by the doors. You may not even see immediate results for this feeling, yet some unexpected things will inevitably occur because you are being spoken to from a world where your dreams are already a reality. The Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all conjunct in your sign this week and as they align with Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio and your House of Dreams, consider this quote from Chuang Tzu, “Once upon a time I dreamt I was a butterfly….Soon I awakened, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.”

Aquarius- Though a palace may be beautiful and visible from afar, its foundations are invisible. Yet without its foundations, the palace cannot stand. Whatever successes you may have recently experienced with Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Career, they are no indication of where you are going next if you do not have a firm footing at present with which to proceed. The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of What is Hidden would speak to making sure your foundations for future endeavors are not only secure, but flexible enough to allow for further growth or even a change of direction. With this in mind, as Mercury enters Capricorn to join Mr. Saturn, it is important for you to try and be pragmatic in the hope that you will come to realize how taking one step backward can be quite helpful if it provides the momentum for taking two steps forward.

Pisces- “In Dreams Begin Responsibilities” is a short story by the late Delmore Schwartz whose title serendipitously speaks to a theme that should be of special interest to you this week. This is because the Sun, Venus, and Pluto (three transformative planets) conjunct in Capricorn (one very pragmatic sign) are all in your House of Dreams and angling in a positive way with Jupiter and Mars conjunct in Scorpio and your House of Philosophy. In layman’s terms this means that whatever you hope to gain in your climb to the proverbial mountaintop will be directly relative to the amount of discomfort you are willing to endure, especially in terms of all the unglamorous chores that exist behind the scenes on every path to success. Saturn and Mercury are also in your House of Hopes and Dreams and together they represent the unexpected benefits of insight and character that are possible when you’re willing to deal responsibly with those difficult or distasteful elements that are sometimes an unfortunate part of doing something we love. Mr. Saturn say’s, “If you are doing what you like then any difficulties that arise are valid.” Nuff said!

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #17 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/1-1/7, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/1 – 1/7, 2018

Hi Kids!!! Happy New Year!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. Before starting the Weekly Horoscopes for 2018, I would first like to take a moment to recount a little story that happened to me at the end of last year during the week between Christmas and New Years.

After putting away a couple of courses at an all-you-can-eat buffet that I was attending with my wife and her family, I eventually decided to get myself some dessert. When I went over to the ice cream station I encountered a Little Old Man in a hoody and a baseball hat standing there with an empty bowl in his hands and a very confused look on his face. I waited behind him for a moment but when I realized he wasn’t on line and was just standing there I said, “Excuse me” and went around him. “There’s no scoopers,” he said, and upon surveying the situation I could see the Old Guy was right. I looked around to see if there was an employee nearby who could help us, but the ice cream counter was situated in a far corner of the restaurant and there was no one around. It was then I suddenly remembered my unused spoon back at the table so I went to get it. The Little Old Man was still standing there with his bowl when I returned and once again he announced, “There’s no scoopers.” While I used the spoon I brought back from the table to serve myself some ice cream, I casually remarked to the Old Fellow, “Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands.” When I was finished serving myself I said, “goodbye” to him, but all he did was continue to stand there in silence with his bowl and stare at the ice cream.

When I returned to the table and repeated this incident to my wife she replied, “Wow, that’s a wonderful metaphor of life, you should include it in Mr. Saturn. Needless to say I followed her advice, which makes the moral of this New Year’s story for me, “Listen to your wife.”

Aries- As the year begins, ambition will be your middle name with The Sun, Venus, and Pluto all moving together through your House of Career to align with Jupiter and Mars holding hands in your House of Death and Transformation. You are resourceful and persistent at this time and with a Super Full Moon in Cancer in your House of Foundations you will also be feeling an almost biological imperative to establish something new for yourself that will stand the test of time. On the second of January, Uranus will go station/direct in your sign, which should help you turn some of last years frustration into originality and a new sense of panache for 2018. Mr. Saturn would say, “You’re trending!”

Taurus- The Lunar Arc this week through the lowest part of your chart will activate some deep seeded feelings of longing that should inspire you to re-visit some dreams you have been procrastinating about for far too long. This could involve either establishing a new home base or beginning a new career direction as The Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all activating the part of you that wants to make your mark in the world by establishing something both progressive meaningful. With Mercury moving direct toward Uranus and a Super Full Moon in your House of Thinking it is also important that you are willing to bend or even break some rules now to get yourself out of the logical and comfortable rut you’re luxuriating in. Mr. Saturn say’s, “it’s not about what you can get away with, it’s about what you need to get away from.”

Gemini- The Super Full Moon that starts this week will be in the sign of Cancer and your House of Self Worth. This could be either a recipe for insecurity or a rallying cry for success as this Super Moon opposes The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Transformation and trines a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio. Sometimes fear motivates people to do remarkable things and at other times it freezes them in their tracks. Usually it all boils down to what you feel you have to lose; and we’re not talking about your material status, we’re talking about you’re spiritual and emotional net worth if you are letting yourself be defined by the approval of others. Also be careful mid-week that you don’t bite off your nose to spite your face as a Leo Moon aligns with a stationing Uranus in Aries, a fire combo that can be about irrationality as much as rebelliousness.

Cancer- With a stellium of Planets (specifically The Sun, Venus, and Pluto) in your House of Relationships opposing the Super Full Moon in your sign, this is a week that will reveal both how much others will need from you as well as how new situations will offer some unexpected solutions to some old problems. Mercury in your House of Daily Routines approaching a station/direct Uranus in your House of Public Image should certainly bring some surprises, not the least of which will be the swiftness with which circumstances can change. A Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune should also bring some surprises, specifically how fast your intuition works as it deftly parry’s and returns one blow after another as fate prepares you for the destiny you’ve always dreamed of.

Leo- With the Super Full Moon lighting your inner recesses like a roman candle and a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Symbolic Foundations rumbling like an earthquake, who (or what) is to blame if your soul is feeling unsettled and your life seems on shaky ground? The logjam of Capricorn Planets in your House of Work and routines would suggest you’d like to blame it on your boss or anyone else who is expecting anything from you, while Mercury moving quickly toward Uranus would suggest it’s probably anyone who’d remind you that the only one responsible for what happens in your life and how you feel is you. Neptune in your House of Transformation would further indicate that whichever answer you choose you’ll still feel miserable, so Mr. Saturn would suggest blaming yourself because at least that way you’d be in charge and that’s where you Leo folks always want to be.

Virgo- This is a week for doing, not talking. A Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio and your House of Communication working with The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in Capricorn and your House of Creativity (as well as Neptune in your House of Relationships) should collectively motivate you to talk softly but carry a big stick. The Super Full Moon in Cancer will probably make you more tolerant (and patient) than usual and Mercury in Sagittarius approaching Uranus should make you as sharp as a razor in order to slice through whatever bullsh*t may come your way while leaving a minimum of blood on the floor. The Lunar Arc this week will also aid you in realizing that you’re probably more in control of your life than you’ve ever been before. All Mr. Saturn has to say at this point is, “High five!”

Libra- This week a Super Full Moon in Cancer will form a Grand Trine with both a Mars/Jupiter conjunction in your House of Self Worth and Neptune in your House of Work and Daily Routines, which means you are probably feeling inspired to move forward with either your career in general or a creative project you have high hopes for. However, as the song goes, “Turn, turn, turn, there is a time for every purpose under heaven…” meaning that The Sun, Venus, and Pluto marching now through Capricorn and your Home sector may be requiring you to focus your energies elsewhere for the time being. Saturn is also there in your House of Home and that should help you to realize beyond the shadow of a doubt that whatever seems to be holding back the Dream Express for you at this time is an absolutely necessary delay, in fact it is an evolutionary precursor for whatever it is you are hoping to be. So, have a glass of wine with Mr. Saturn and sing along, “Time, time, time, is on my side, yes it is….”

Scorpio- You have so many good ideas now it’s like a convention of fireflies in a shady grove on a hot summer night. Don’t let inspiration pass without action at this time and be a dreamer with a house full of travel brochures who has never went anywhere. A Jupiter /Mars conjunction will be exact in your sign this week, which in turn forms a powerful Grand Trine with the Super Moon in your House of Ideas and Neptune in your House of Creativity. Make the time to play, create, or even howl at the moon if you’d like because if you’re feeling it in your heart then it is necessary to share it with someone. A stellium of planets in practical Capricorn will help you think all this through and make it real, just make sure you’re following your bliss.

Sagittarius- The Super Moon in Cancer that starts the week is in your House of Legacies, meaning either your Mama is leaving you a lot of dough or you’ve been sacrificing a lot of yourself and hoping there’s an afterlife to make up for it. The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Mr. Saturn all in Capricorn and your House of Self Worth are combining with Neptune in your House of Family to set the bar of responsibility quite high for you, making you feel as if you’re pole vaulter in the Olympics hoping for a medal. Mercury coming into alignment with a soon to be direct Uranus in your House of Creativity should serve as an inspiration for you to break out of this approval rut and leave someone else to clean up after the users (and abusers) in your life, although it could also mean that you’ll pride yourself inordinately at being able to bend over backwards like a circus contortionist to impress these ignoramuses. In addition, Jupiter and Mars in your House of Confinement are like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid trying to bust out of jail, although any decent historian (or even Mr. Saturn) will tell you, “they were never in jail together.” Think on that one for a while.

Capricorn- The Relationship Axis in your chart is overloaded with The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Saturn all in your sign opposing the Cancer Super Full Moon in your House of Partnerships. Are you sweet on anybody now?, Is anyone sweet on you? Have you even noticed? Jupiter in your House of Friends aligning with Neptune in your House of Communication could mean someone you think of as just a friend may secretly like you a whole lot more. Or perhaps someone has been sending you some pretty clear signals and you’re just oblivious? As Mercury in your House of Confinement moves into an eventual alignment with Uranus, you could finally come to realize all the defense mechanisms and walls you’ve set up around yourself under the guise of being “too busy” and “having no time” are just excuses for being too chicken to open your heart. “Awww,” say’s Mr. Saturn, “why I bet plenty of people would like to get to know a sweetie pie like you.” Nuff said!

Aquarius- The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Saturn operating now behind the scenes in your chart all represent the weight of responsibility hanging heavily on your shoulders. At the same time Mercury moving through your House of Groups toward Uranus in your House of Communication is all about exploring every possible angle to create solutions. The Super Full Moon in Cancer this week has you worrying whether or not you’re up to these current challenges, however, Neptune in your House of Earned Income could very well save the day by providing you with an unusual opportunity to acquire some much needed cash. Likewise, Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Career should give you all the drive and courage you should need to see you through these difficult times. It might seem like you’re at the Alamo, but as the song goes, “We are the champions, my friend, and we’ll keep on fighting to the end!”

Pisces- As long as Neptune remains in your sign the challenge will be to stay grounded, not only in regards to your long term goals but in terms of your day to day existence as well. The Sun, Venus, Pluto and Saturn in your House of Dreams will help to keep your nose to the grindstone and make sure things stay organized, while a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio will motivate you to remain focused. Mercury in your House of Career moving into an eventual alignment with Uranus in your House of Earned Income later in the week could bring some unexpected or unusual ways to make a little extra cash, although getting back to Neptune for a moment, make sure you are saving something for a rainy day from anything extra that comes in and not just spending it all. As Jimi Hendrix used to sing, “Castles made of sand fall into the sea, eventually…”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #14 Weekly Horoscopes 12/11-12/17, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 12/11-12/17, 2017

Hi kids!!! Mr. Saturn here. Glad to have you back! Like many of you, for better or worse I will soon be heading home for the holidays, which for me is my native sign of Capricorn; A mountaintop, a bunch of freakish half-goat, half-fish relatives to deal with… All I can say about that is…Fa la la la la…..la..la ……la…….la………..ugh.

Aries- The week will begin in a vacuum with a Libra Moon un-aspected in your House of Relationships, meaning you’re either depressed that you don’t have a relationship or else you don’t know what to do about the one you’ve got. Either way a Scorpio Moon conjunct Mars mid-week in your House of Transformation will find you feeling alone and/or alienated enough to do something you’ might regret… but don’t!!! Mercury Retrograde meeting up with Venus in Sag could bring an old friend to the rescue. You’re feeling crazy so let off some steam with someone who knows how weird being you can get.Mr. Saturn would suggest perhaps some karaoke to welcome the New Moon? “Twenty, twenty, twenty-four hours ago…..I wanna be sedated…..nuthin to do nowhere to go-oh…..I wanna be sedated.”

Taurus- This week could be a real slow burn for you. A Libra Moon with nowhere to go except where everyone else seems to want it could see you compromising yourself into utter frustration either on the job or at home. By the time the Moon gets into Scorpio mid-week and gossips with both Mars and Jupiter, you’ll be roundly chastising yourself. “How could you let them do that to you?” you’ll say to yourself, or else to your poor pet that just wants to lie next to you in peace. Uranus in your House of Secrets will make you fantasize about all the murder and mayhem you could enact upon these people in vengeance, however, by the time Mercury Retrograde and Venus meet up in bubbly Sagittarius over the weekend you’ll be ready to forget all that and go back to saying, “Namaste” to everyone. Mr. Saturn already knows what he’ll get you for Christmas….a big bottle of booze.

Gemini- With the Moon starting the week in your House of Fun (and the sign of Libra) you’ll probably feel compelled to be a man or woman for all seasons for both family and friends, but is that what you really want to do? With 5 major planets in your House of Relationships (including Mercury Retrograde) and all of them in dippy Sagittarius to boot, be careful you don’t forget how certain individuals have already shown you they are not as nice as they pretend. When the Moon enters Scorpio in your House of Routines and joins with Mars and Jupiter to aspect Pluto in your House of Death and Transformation, seize your power with these users and wield it as decisively as if you were a self-absorbed two year old….”nonononono!!!!!!” “That’ll show ‘em,” say’s Mr. Saturn.

Cancer- Having a directionless Libra Moon in your House of Foundations to start the week is making you feel so conflicted between your desires and responsibilities that if you agreed to a session with a shrink you’d probably be diagnosed as a schizophrenic. There are 5 major planets transiting through your House of Work and with all of them watching a rebellious, iconoclastic Uranus in your House of Career acting like Bart Simpson and giving them all the finger, you keep asking yourself just how much more of this you can take? When the Moon enters your House of Children to join both Mars and Jupiter as they all trine Neptune in your House of Philosophy, you’ll eventually remember who you’ve been sacrificing for all this time. Make sure you also remember that nothing in life lasts forever. As he pours you a nice glass of wine, Mr. Saturn will add, “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you’ll get what you need…..oh yeah..”

Leo- You will be torn this week between freedom and responsibility. With 5 planets transiting through Sagittarius and your House of Creativity and all of them lining up with innovative, individualistic Uranus in your House of Philosophy, you’ll be wanting to write your own ticket and make up your own rules. However, Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius may be singing behind the scenes to those other Sag Planets, “Turn, turn, turn, there is a time for every purpose under heaven.” The Moon, Mars, and Jupiter in Scorpio in your House of Home will likely agree, as they demand your attention instead be focused on an intervention for a lonely friend or family member who really just needs to know someone cares.

Virgo- Imagine two soldiers standing guard on the wall of a fort. One say’s, “It’s quiet,” and the other replies, “Yeah, too quiet.” Just then an Indian’s arrow hits one of them and the air is filled with screaming war cries. A series of petty emergencies may surprise you this week, but if you and your partner pull together and delegate things properly everything should work out. All of the focus for the rest of this year will probably be at home as you have 5 major planets (including Mercury Retrograde) transiting that area. They are all in aspect to Uranus in your House of Transformation, so if you can go with the flow you just might experience some pleasant surprises. If romance has been lacking as of late between you and yours, let Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio help you get the passion back. Mr. Saturn say’s, “Rrrrrrrrrrrr…….”

Libra- Having 5 major planets in your House of Communications (including Mercury Retrograde) would make this an excellent time for you to reach out, especially to a person or professional group you may have fallen out of touch with. Because Uranus is also involved, you could end up receiving an unexpected blast from the past from either an old flame or someone who has popped into your mind again recently. With Mercury and Uranus together, there’s never any telling where these surprises may lead! Mars, the Moon, and Jupiter in your House of Earnings in aspect to Neptune in your House of Work could bring an unexpected opportunity for either some quick dough or a position that could showcase a unique talent you have. Maybe Santa actually did get your letter this year?

Scorpio- With a stellium of planets in your House of Earnings and Uranus in your House of Work, the Holidays for you are going to be busy busy busy. You may end up being exhausted but you should manage to rake in enough dough to make it well worthwhile. It won’t be all work and no play though because you also have Mars, Jupiter, and the Moon in your sign this week and they are all aligning beneficially with Neptune in your House of Romance and Fun. Even if you’re feeling frazzled take the time to attend a party and hit the egg nog. You never know, that overgrown elf lurking under the mistletoe and throwing back the brewski’s may just turn out to be your very own special Secret Santa (or secret Saturn if you’ve been REALLY good this year…..just sayin’).

Sagittarius- Having the Sun, Mercury Retrograde, Venus, Saturn, and the New Moon all in your sign aligning with Uranus in your House of Fun would indicate that the party this week is in Sag!!! With the Moon in Libra to start the week you will probably be feeling magnanimous and accommodating, however, once the Moon shifts into Scorpio and meets with Jupiter and Mars behind the scenes you might want to rethink your nice guy approach in lieu of certain individuals (okay, let’s be specific, certain family members) who might take advantage of your good nature. The Lunar Arc will finish in your sign over the weekend with a New Moon conjunct Saturn and trine Uranus, meaning that instead of letting the same jerks who have ruined your holiday in the past do it again, this time take the high ground. Mr. Saturn would suggest, “Bless the beasts and the children.” In other words, be nice to kids and pets and then either ignore your stupid relatives or find a comfy, out of the way spot to drink by yourself.

Capricorn- You’re like a floating iceberg this week in that most of what you’re thinking and feeling is concealed below the surface. This is because a stellium of planets in Sagittarius (including Mercury Retrograde) are all hiding behind the scenes and aligning with Uranus at the bottom of your chart. A kind and compassionate Jupiter/Neptune configuration between your Houses of Friends and Communication could help you avoid depression if you’re willing to seek out a friend or family member with whom you can vent a little to relieve the pressure. After all, the holidays can be frustrating if you let yourself get cornered into believing that everybody except you is happy with all this phony commercialism and advertised joy. On a more upbeat note amidst all this Christmas nonsense, Mr. Saturn will be coming to visit your sign just before Christmas Eve! Yay humbug!!!

Aquarius- Right now there are 5 major planets in your House of Dreams and they are all aligning with Uranus in your House of Communication. As a result, the illusion of choice for you now is popularity. The Lunar Arc will travel this week from Libra through Scorpio to Sagittarius or from establishing relationships to manipulating these relationships for fame and gain. “That sounds great,” you say, which may actually be the problem. Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio transiting through your House of Career and Public Image would indicate that no matter how broad your smile and no matter what promises you are making to all the people you’re asking for help, the simple fact is this is all about you. Pluto camped out behind the scenes would indicate a need to transform the notions you have about love change from adoration to humility, but then again you’d have to be able to be by yourself to deal with that, which is the scariest place in the world for you right now. The New Moon in Sag shacking up with Mr. Saturn will likely arrange for you to have your illusions for a while longer, so enjoy it while you can. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is yours:

To think your ego

Is what will conquer this life

Defines Black Magick

Pisces- A traffic jam of planets in your House of Career (including a very dissident Mercury Retrograde) are all causing you to have illusions of practicality about your former ambitious illusions. Now what could that possibly mean? Well, maybe the river you initially chose to cross wasn’t really the right one for you (which of course you wouldn’t hear at the time)? Nevertheless, changing horses now when you’re 3/4 of the way across is ridiculous, especially since you’re so close to finishing and learning whatever it is you’re supposed to. Now do you understand? Probably not, mostly due to the fact that transiting Mars in Scorpio aligning with Neptune in your sign at this time is giving you a real passion for not having a clue and being defensive about it. You think choice and responsibility are mutually exclusive just because they’re two different words, well, not to whoever is sponsoring this adventure you’ve been having….have you thought of that? When the New Moon tattles to Mr. Saturn on Sunday he may just make you aware of it.
