Mr. Saturn’s Stars #35 Weekly Horoscopes for 5/7-5/13, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 5/7-5/13, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome once again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

Martha: Truth or illusion, George; you don’t know the difference.

George: No, but we must carry on as though we did.

Martha: Amen.

-Edward Albee “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf “

Aries- Don’t take anything for granted this week when it comes to communications. Venus will be passing through that area for you and she’ll be in a hard angle to Neptune behind the scenes, meaning that misunderstandings, misstatements, tall tales, and even out right f*cking lies will all be par for the course. Mercury squaring Pluto to start the week should be of some help amidst all the mendacity, especially as these two tend to come out swinging for the truth whenever they get a chance. Make sure you keep your nose clean so that all the right people end up getting hit and you’re not one of them. By weeks end Mars will be pulling into a square with Uranus, which could see you stressing about everything that’s happened over the last few days, especially if you didn’t do anything about it or took it too seriously. Jupiter closing in on Neptune should help you to calm down if you’re willing to get away by yourself and put things back into perspective. Repeat after me, “Aum.”

Taurus- You’re feeling Uber responsible now as the Sun in your sign is aligning with both Pluto and Mars in Capricorn as they transit your House of Philosophy. Neptune in your House of Dreams is also in alignment with those Capricorn Planets and whenever Mr. Fog is involved it is always important to make sure that your hopes are copasetic with what is actually happening. Venus is in your House of Earnings and that’s generally a good thing, however, because the planet of money is also squaring Neptune make sure that whatever you’ve spent in regards to a group project will be coming back to you, especially if you’ve been investing time and emotion as well as your money. Mars approaching a square to Uranus at the end of the week could be making you anxious about an upcoming trip, don’t let anyone make you feel silly for taking some extra precautions to make sure you’ll have everything you need, better safe than sorry.

Gemini- With Venus in your sign charm is most definitely on your side this month and you’re feeling quite cooperative, just don’t let anyone get the idea that you’re a pushover. Mercury squaring Pluto could serve to expose some shady dealings involving a group or project that you’re involved in, so make sure your hands are clean because your reputation could suffer through guilt by association. If you have been overlooked at work you’ll likely find yourself coming up with an idea or two now that could gain you some long overdue recognition and maybe even some extra do-re-mi as well before things are done. Jupiter retrograde may be bringing up some old issues and you could find yourself revisiting some basic power struggles either at work or in a relationship. If you’re not that person anymore then make sure you don’t screw yourself by making the same old choices that brought you down before.

Cancer- Venus behind the scenes squaring Neptune in your House of Philosophy might have you expecting the worst of people, especially if you’re going to be dealing with individuals who have been a pain in the ass before. A word to the wise, don’t let these people determine the rules of engagement. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Creativity opposing the Sun in your House of Groups will help you process any difficult lessons from the past so that you can transform them into a winning strategy for the future. Mars and Pluto in your House of Partnerships are in a testy square with Mercury in Aries and your House of Career, meaning don’t be shy, ask for what you deserve and you shall receive it, especially if you’ll be facing off with an old adversary who’ll probably end up shooting themselves in the foot because they’ll make the mistake of seriously underestimating the new you.

Leo- Be careful what you wish for as Neptune transits your House of Transformation and squares Venus in your House of Dreams. Ambition will be high as the Sun moves through your House of Career and opposes Jupiter retrograde at the foundation of your chart, which could make you gullible and open to being manipulated either by flattery or false promises. Saturn, Pluto, and Mars together in your House of Work add a very necessary grounding now as they stress hard work and responsibility as the way to success rather than relying too heavily on the smoke and mirrors of any sort of get rich quick sorcery. This is especially true as Mercury and Uranus in Aries move into squares to a pair of those planets I just mentioned in your House of Work, namely Pluto and Mars respectively. The message you should take away from all this is think innovatively but act conservatively, at least for the time being and you won’t be sorry.

Virgo- Be careful of a partner’s advice; they don’t necessarily want you to fail, but success on your terms would change the dynamic of the relationship and threaten their sense of control. You will also need to re-examine your own comfort zone if you feel that you can’t move forward creatively or professionally without their approval. Mercury in your House of Transformation angling against Pluto in your House of Creativity will bring this power struggle out as the week begins, followed by Neptune in your House of Partnerships squaring Venus in your House of Career forcing you to each re-consider what would be lost or gained if the relationship started to operate with a different philosophical approach. Mercury squaring Uranus to end the week could have you looking across a battlefield at each other, but for the time being if you can manage to agree to disagree things will eventually transform for the better.

Libra- As Venus in your House of Philosophy squares Neptune in your House of Daily Routines, this could be the time when you finally recognize how you can be your own worst enemy. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Self Worth opposing the Sun in your House of Transformation will be a tremendous help with this, as each of them in turn will align with Pluto retrograde at the Foundation of your chart, all of this together signaling an inevitable realignment of not only what you see when you look in the mirror, but also what you think others see when you allow them to be that mirror. Both Mercury and Uranus in your House of Relationships will also be entering into squares with Pluto and Mars respectively in your House of Symbolic Foundations, meaning that the time has come for you to recognize just how much of your intended iconoclasm is really just a hidden fear of failure that assumes you can only get to the top by giving someone or something the power of approval over you; ironic, huh?

Scorpio- For weeks now my Scorpion friend I have been hinting that a romance awaits you due to the fact that Neptune has been lingering seductively for some time now in your House of Romance. Well, now I’m going to suggest that for the time being you should try to be careful in your involvements. Why? Because Venus is now transiting through your House of Sex and she is in harsh angle to Neptune, meaning that there is a distinct possibility that simple sexual attraction could be mistaken for love, especially since a Taurus Sun now passing through your House of Relationships is thinking “commitment” while the other person seducing you could be thinking simply, “hit and run. “ Mercury squaring Pluto at the beginning of the week and Mars squaring Uranus at the end of the week could both speak to subterfuge, dishonesty, and a resulting surprise that could be more volatile than satisfying. As a result, be careful and make sure that’s whatever is being offered in the way of romance is something that will truly thrill your heart and not just somewhere else situated a little lower.

Sagittarius- Take any promises that are made to you now with a grain of salt, particularly if what is being offered insinuates there may be strings attached and no clear parameters have been set as to what is expected. Venus in your House of Relationships will have you feeling very cooperative, but the fact that she’s squaring Neptune brings in a strong likelihood of illusion and secrecy in any one on one interactions this week (particularly if they occur behind the scenes, as Jupiter, the planet of excess is there). Mercury squaring Pluto at the beginning of the week and Mars squaring Uranus at the week’s end together speak to clandestine agendas and volatile reactions when someone realizes they’ve been had; try to make sure that someone isn’t you. The Sun in your House of Work aligning with Pluto in your House of Self Worth could see you benefitting from letting go of something; perhaps it should be your need to be all things to all people.

Capricorn- Misunderstandings or miscommunications at work could stem from either you having unreasonable expectations about the timetable for something that needs to be done, or else someone has purposely been misleading you about exactly how much needs to be done. No matter what the case, make sure you don’t try to rush through something just because you’d rather not be doing it in the first place. Mercury squaring Pluto to start the week should make you feel like you want to get to the bottom of exactly what’s going on, while Mars squaring Uranus at the end of the week could represent an unwelcome surprise that you simply aren’t prepared for. The Sun in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune in the House of Ideas could help you to think outside the box, so make sure you take it slow and pay attention, but most importantly, don’t take anything for granted.

Aquarius- You are feeling an almost desperate need to expand at this time as a result of being convinced that you have exhausted all the possibilities in your current situation. However, with the Sun transiting through your House of Foundations and aligning nicely with Neptune in your House of Self Worth, it will be your ability to mutate rather than a compulsion to burn bridges that will hold the answers you need right now. In other words, a willingness to try a new way of doing something familiar may prove to be more valuable than giving up on what you have to search out something completely new. Mercury in your House of Ideas squaring Pluto behind the scenes is about innovation and approaching something differently than you have in the past, while Mars squaring Uranus later in the week will be about letting the situation guide you rather than trying to control everything that may happen. It’s important for you to realize right now that it’s about tweeking what you have, not charging out to discover something that may not exist just yet.

Pisces- The frustration you are experiencing right now is along the lines of “irresistible force meets immovable object.” The actual manifestation of this dynamic will come into play early in the week when Mercury in your House of Self Worth squares Pluto in your House of Dreams and you are forced to see precisely what is in your way despite what you may have been feeling to the contrary. Later in the week will be when the frustration regarding your situation will really hit, as Mars in your House of Dreams squares Uranus in your House of Self Worth. You will undoubtedly be angry so make sure you find a way to channel your angst so that you don’t end up shooting yourself in the foot or burning a bridge you can’t reconstruct. The good news is that the Sun moving through your House of Ideas is aligning nicely with Neptune in your sign, meaning that if you can calm down then your natural intuition and creativity should come up with something innovative that will allow to live to fight another day.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #34 Weekly Horoscopes for 4/30-5/6, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 4/30-5/6, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“There is only one plot- things are not what they seem.”

-Jim Thompson

“A raven’s call from

A nearby tree lingers like

A premonition”

-The Exalted Man

Aries- What do you want to believe? Venus in your House of Mental Activity in a harsh angle to Neptune behind the scenes will have you coming up with whatever you need to justify anything you want, however, Mercury in your sign moving into a square with Pluto might foil your best constructed fantasies by acting like a whistleblower who knows where all the bodies are buried. A Taurus Sun also aligning with Neptune would further suggest it is easier to create a solution for just about anything if you’re honest with yourself rather than trying to concoct a series of fabrications to avoid what you fear. Venus inconjunct a retrograde Saturn will probably have the last word here and it will likely be something along the lines of; “When you ain’t got nothing, you got nothing to lose, you’re invisible now, you’ve got no secrets to conceal.” So what are you worrying about?

Taurus- The Sun in your sign coming into alignment with Neptune in your House of Dreams could see you willing to invest a great deal into a developing project, while Venus in your House of Self Worth will likely cause you to overlook what there may be to lose in this situation. With Mercury behind the scenes in a harsh aspect to Pluto in your House of Philosophy make sure that you pursue your due diligence in this matter and be certain that what you’ve been told is the real deal. Mars in your House of Long Distance matters approaching a square to Uranus will be yelling “surprise” when you least expect it, hopefully it won’t involve having to rethink (or, God forbid re-do) anything you thought was already done and delivered, or even worse, bought and paid for.

Gemini- You have some great ideas now but be careful about what you’re willing to compromise to make them come true. Mercury in the sign of Aries and your House of Dreams will give you all the success you’d want, although because the Messenger Planet is also moving into a square with Pluto in your House of Transformation be sure that your soul hasn’t been surreptitiously added to the purchase price of your time and effort. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Work is also aligning with Pluto and this should guarantee rewards for your efforts, just make sure those rewards are an accurate reflection of how much you think you’re worth and not simply what someone else is willing to pay. Don’t be someone else’s deal of the century just because you’re more worried about being nice.

Cancer- The danger now with Neptune in your House of Philosophy squaring Venus behind the scenes is that you will doubt yourself unnecessarily in regards to your ability to weather adversity, whether it be a simple case of not getting what you want when you want it, or having to work through a situation involving some very intractable and recalcitrant people. A good rule of thumb to follow would be let folks say what they say, but know what you know. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Creativity is still aligning with Pluto as well as getting closer to Neptune everyday, meaning that it is important to realize that no matter what the circumstances, patience must always begin by first being patient with yourself. That way your destiny will always be more than your fear if you’re willing to look your fear in the eye.

Leo- With Venus in your House of Dreams clashing with Neptune in your House of Transformation, make sure that you’re not seeing someone for who they were rather than who they are now. For a fixed sign like yourself this could be a harsh realization, especially if this is a partnership that you’ve invested a lot of yourself in. I would like to be able to say that if you’re willing to be honest about what’s really going on they will too, but that isn’t the case. Their denial and inflexibility may shock you. Just make sure that by feeling sorry for them you’re not inadvertently enabling their agenda. They may try to devalue the unhappiness you’re feeling at their behavior by justifying their manipulations and dishonesty as necessary, but don’t let this self-absorbed whiner off the hook. See if they love you enough to admit what they’re doing and change.

Virgo- It’s time to examine the significant relationships in your life, both personal and professional. With Venus traveling through your House of Career in hard angle to Neptune in your House of Partnerships, be careful of trying to be all things to all people. Likewise, don’t be so willing to reveal your personal business to any inquisitive new acquaintances. The Sun in your House of Philosophy is also interacting with Neptune, as well as slowly moving into an alignment with Jupiter in your House of Communications, meaning that honest and open dialogue with any significant others will be critical at this time, especially if you need to speak up and tell a partner they are pushing you too hard or else have crossed a line. Let Saturn in your House of Creativity and Mercury in your House of Transformation help you to find the cojonesif someone you work with is ego tripping a little too much and needs to get a piece of your mind.

Libra- There are three major planets in the sign of Capricorn right now and they are all transiting across the bottom of your chart in what would be your House of Home and Foundations. Saturn represents the Natural Order, Mars is Action, and Pluto is Transformation, meaning it would be safe to say that you have reached a crossroads in your life where the landscape around you is spinning and all the cardinal points on the horizon have completely changed. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Self Worth is aligning with both Pluto and Mars, so you can bet any coming changes will be deep. At the same time the Sun in your House of Transformation along with Mercury moving into a square with Pluto should help to illuminate whatever depths you have been exploring for that elusive Grail of satisfaction and success.

Scorpio- Whether you want it or not, a leadership role could be thrust upon you now and your ability to deliver what’s necessary will end up affecting a lot more than you currently realize. Jupiter retrograde in your sign aligning with both Mars and Pluto in your House of Communications would indicate that your reticence to accept this responsibility is precisely what qualifies you to have it, meaning this can’t be about ego, it has to be about being respected, which you are! As Venus squares Neptune you may initially feel at a loss as to how you should handle this, but as a stable Taurus Sun aligns with Neptune you will come up with an idea or two that may amaze not only you, but others as well. As Mercury ends the week squaring Pluto some interesting secrets could be revealed, not the least of which will be that you are the leader this situation always needed.

Sagittarius-William S. Burroughs wrote in his novel, “Naked Lunch,” “Nothing is true; everything is permitted.” With this in mind, you should be aware that whatever you may want (or not) right now should be based on your beliefs and not on whatever the supposed rules may state. In other words, you can leave a bad situation and choose something better, tell a family member “no”, or improve your self in any way you see fit, simply because there is nothing that say’s you can’t if you’re willing to bear the responsibility. Mercury in the sign of Aries and your House of Creativity is chomping at the bit to get going on this, but Saturn in your House of Self Worth is saying, “Wait a minute, not so fast.” Now Saturn could be reminding you of your duties, but what if he’s really just answering an arbitrary “because” to your sincere “Why?” Perhaps you should let Jupiter behind the scenes aligning with both Pluto and Neptune inspire you to respond with a resounding “Why not!” and go for it, whatever “it” may be.

Capricorn- With Saturn, Mars, and Pluto all in your sign the theme for you now is discipline, direction and organization. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Dreams has been working with these energies for a while and certain ambitions you have long held as nothing more than hopes or fantasies are now

visible on the horizon as viable realities. The Sun in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune in your House of Communication will further illuminate these possibilities, as you will likely be brimming with ideas (and perhaps even visions) this week. Mercury transiting your House of Foundations is pushing you to make room in your world for all the things you are now believing are possible, while in the meantime Saturn in your sign is saying, “Everything you want is certainly doable, just make sure you’re willing to walk the walk and not just talk the talk in order to make all this stuff happen.”

Aquarius- I know life is hard now but an unwillingness to fully acknowledge your circumstances could mean you’re not realizing the challenges in front of you aren’t meant to be insurmountable obstacles, but rather stimulants for evolution. Mercury in Aries is not making this any easier by squaring Saturn behind the scenes and turning what could have been some real creative torque into something that instead probably feels like a frustrating uphill battle. The saving grace here though could be Jupiter retrograde as he tries to reverse engineer with Pluto and Mars a new recipe for success in your House of Career and Public Image. The Sun moving through your House of Symbolic Foundations and aligning with Neptune in your House of Self Worth is a very good omen as well, likely symbolizing that a new you is on the horizon and soon it will be time to roll away the stone and resurrect into a new life.

Pisces- Right now it is necessary to acknowledge the instability in your life if you sincerely want to ever get past it, even if Venus in the sign of Gemini and your House of Foundations has you feeling that you can skirt any difficult issues and Mercury in your House of Self Worth is telling you to simply hit the highway and run. Try instead to hear Saturn, Mars, and Pluto in your House of Groups as they act like a revolutionary militia to try to get you to dig in and face the music by suggesting that if criticisms have been leveled at you then either meet them head on and refute them as untrue, or else learn from what you have done and improve the situation. Jupiter retrograde in the sign of Scorpio and your House of  Philosophy is also involved here as he works along with his buddies Saturn, Mars, and Pluto to instill within you the ethics of honor and responsibility. If you are willing to listen to the deep inner wisdom of these Spiritual Warriors then you will likely find the answers to the problems that are currently plaguing you.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #33 Weekly Horoscopes for 4/23-4/29, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 4/23-4/29, 2018

Hi kids!!! Glad to have you back.

“I do not know which to prefer,

The beauty of inflections

Or the beauty of innuendoes,

The blackbird whistling

Or just after. “

-Wallace Stevens

Aries- This week will no doubt begin with you feeling quite impatient as Mercury in your sign enters into a square with Saturn retrograde in your House of Career. Before you indulge your frustration first ask yourself a simple question, are you annoyed because you won’t get what you want, or are you just ticked off because you’re not getting it right now? Pluto retrograde is also traveling through your House of Career, where it is conjunct with Mars and aligning with Jupiter retrograde, a further indication that while things are certainly percolating any future accomplishments are likely on a slow simmer rather than a high boil for now. The Full Moon in Scorpio over the weekend will be in your House of Legacies where it will also combine with Mr. Saturn in your House of Career, meaning you need to realize what’s meant to be yours will be yours and learning to be patient with that understanding is called “confidence.”

Taurus- As the Sun in your sign approaches a strong elementary alignment with Saturn retrograde in your House of Philosophy, the time is coming for you to commit to a serious course of action in either a business or romantic partnership. This is further supported by the fact that both Mars and Pluto, which are also in your House of Philosophy, are aligning with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Partnerships, meaning that the ultimate purpose of this association is for you to grow significantly beyond what you can currently accomplish on your own.As a result, don’t try to assess the possible future rewards of any commitment you make now, especially since Neptune in your House of Dreams would indicate that you really won’t know what you’ll actually need from a commitment until you make it. Think of The Fool of the Tarot as he starts the journey of the Major Arcana by walking off a cliff; only after that can he come to realize his inner Magician and Priestess. Comprende?

Gemini- The misconception about a tidal wave is that it happens suddenly with no advance indication, when in actuality the initial disturbance occurs deep in the ocean long before the fact and then slowly builds momentum under the surface until its force becomes overwhelming. There is a metaphor here if you look closely and it could serve to explain a change this week at work that might seem like a complete surprise when it happens. At the end of the week The Sun behind the scenes will light up a Scorpio Moon in your House of Work to reveal who has been doing what on the job as well as who hasn’t been doing shit. Leading up to that Mars and Pluto aligning with Jupiter will bring your efforts up for review, which will happen because someone who should have kept their mouth shut doesn’t and their foot (as well as yours) should fit quite nicely in their pie hole. And justice for all… Amen!!!

Cancer- The Sun/Full Moon axis that concludes the week will occur for you in the Houses of Creativity and Dreams. If you have been working toward something meaningful in either your personal or professional life you could see a major break through now, though not necessarily a conclusion just yet. Leading up to this Mercury in your House of Career will Square Saturn in your House of Partnerships (and open enemies) meaning someone else’s faux pas could end up opening an unexpected door for you. Next a Pluto and Mars combo aligns with Jupiter retrograde (also in your House of Creativity) so you should have no problem knowing exactly what to do with any advantage you’ve been given. By the time the Full Moon does occur it will be aligning with Saturn retrograde back in your House of Partnership and Enemies, meaning that the joke will be on whoever underestimated your capabilities. Mess with the best you die like the rest.

Leo- Viva La Revolucion!  Mercury in the rebellious sign of Aries and your House of Philosophy is squaring authoritarian Saturn in your House of Work…Holy Jimmy Hoffa Batman!!! You’re ready to take on the boss, the company, and anyone else who tries to peddle injustice. Pluto aligning with Jupiter would speak to this being a long suffering situation, which is undoubtedly why you’re willing to stand up. When charming Venus enters social Gemini mid-week you should be able to gain some support for your cause, just remember to keep it light, after all no one likes a righteous rant. Think of Colbert mocking Rump and you’ll have the right sort of approach to an affective revolutionary philosophy.

Virgo- It is said that if partners agree on everything then one of them is redundant. Mercury in Aries squaring Saturn in your House of Creativity would mean that you’re probably going to have to push for what you want in a partnership, although not like you’ve done in the past when you didn’t get your way. This time with Pluto and Mars in Capricorn aligning with Jupiter in your House of Communication it’s won’t be necessary for you to get loud (and then apologize) instead you must be absolutely committed to your vision. And it doesn’t have to be a perfect vision (the other person’s certainly isn’t) it just has to be fair and equitable for everyone involved. The Full Moon in Scorpio to end the week will be aligning with Saturn, so if you can keep your cool (Venus entering Gemini mid-week should help with that) and remember to “talk softly but carry a big stick,” y’all should be fine.

Libra- Even though nothing seems to be changing much, don’t let yourself fall into the mindset of “same shit, different day.” The foundations you are establishing now are being constructed from the inside out, meaning that your circumstances cannot meaningfully change until you do and if you think back to where you were 6 months ago you have changed quite a bit. So stop worrying, things will be looking different before you know it. With Saturn, Mars, and Pluto all in your House of Symbolic Foundations, Saturn squaring Mercury and the other two working positively with Jupiter retrograde, the tumblers are slowly but surely coming into alignment to unlock you from the inertia you’ve been feeling trapped in. The Sun transiting your House of Transformation should also be of help here as it lights up a Full Scorpio Moon over the weekend in your House of Self Worth.  Your stock should be rising sooner than you think and you could be feeling “Born Again,” though hopefully not in the evangelical sense….lol!!

Scorpio- You are very much a creature of routine so therefore you also have more than a few control issues. Mercury in your House of Daily Activities squaring Saturn this week could represent some demands being put on you that will take you out of your usual groove. Jupiter retrograde in your sign aligning with Mars and Pluto will likely see you putting the pedal to the metal to overcome any such disturbances in your well ordered universe and you will likely succeed, but at what cost? Make sure you take some time to rest and enjoy yourself no matter what’s going on, especially since there will be a Full Moon in your sign over the weekend sensuously lit up by a Taurus Sun passing through your House of Relationships. You know I’ve been teasing you recently about encountering a special someone with Neptune lingering in your House of Romance…..well……a word to the wise, just sayin’.

Sagittarius- Early in the week when Mercury in your House of Romance squares Saturn retrograde in your House of Self Worth, you may find yourself reflecting back on the one that got away, especially since at the same time Venus will enter Gemini and your House of Relationships. Take a moment to seriously ask yourself, if you could, would you really want to go back with this person? Mars and Pluto are also together in your House of Self Worth and together they are lined up with a behind the scenes Jupiter retrograde who is trying to explain that just because you remember something a certain way doesn’t mean that’s the way it really happened. You’re worried love has passed you by, but maybe that’s not the case at all. Perhaps you’ve just stopped feeling good about yourself and that’s the only thing that can keep pace with love, especially when there isn’t a lover present to remind you of your worthiness. The Scorpio Full Moon over the weekend could be a real downer if you choose to isolate yourself, so make sure you get out there and connect with people.

Capricorn- What do you think others expect of you? What do you expect of yourself? These are both necessary and important questions for you now, although don’t be overly concerned with what the answers should be, simply because any real answer would have to be predicated on knowing who you are to begin with and that, my “Capra” friend, is the million dollar question you need to figure out. Mercury rushing through Aries in your House of Foundations and squaring Saturn in your sign is the part of you that “has to know”, while Pluto and Mars (also in your sign) aligning with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Dreams is the effort you’re willing to make toward that end. It may just be the Sun transiting through Taurus and your House of Creativity that sets you free here, as it aligns with Saturn retrograde to help you realize that choosing to accept life is the only real answer to the question of self in a never ending Universe. Namaste (Yeah, you heard me right, I just said Namaste….hahaha).

Aquarius- You could be feeling torn this week as Mercury going through your House of Communications has you filled with all sorts of cool ideas and the need to share them, while at the same time Saturn behind the scenes aligning with the Sun in your House of Foundations is telling you to follow the head in front of you and stick to the rules. This could get dicey because Pluto and Mars are also behind the scenes like a pair of revolutionaries and as they align with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Public Image you might actually feel that by not pushing the envelope you might be selling out. Not to worry, rebellious Uranus should arrive to rescue you just in the nick of time as he and the Scorpio Full Moon inconjunct one another over the weekend. No doubt this quirky pair will help you to return to form and do something beautifully irrational as you “Go the distance…..” to the sound of a voice only you can hear.

Pisces- I hate to say this, but with Neptune in your sign for a long time to come it might be a good idea to get a very loud whistle and a very bright flashlight so people will be able to find you in the fog now engulfing you. Mercury in your House of Self Worth will have you grabbing when you should be patient and Saturn in your House of Dreams will have you waiting when you should be going after what you want. What to do? Because he is in a water sign, it would be wise for you to listen to the wise council of Jupiter retrograde as he passes along through your House of Philosophy. Perhaps his alignment with Pluto and Mars will help you to see that discretion can often be the better part of valor, meaning if you’re practical and patient you can live to fight another day when the circumstances might be more propitious (that is, when you know what you’re fighting for). Then again, the Scorpio Full Moon over the weekend could have you convinced that hula-hoops will be a thing again. Why don’t we do a test of that whistle and flashlight I suggested earlier?

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #31 Weekly Horoscopes for 4/9-4/15, 2018

Weekly horoscopes for 4/9-4/15, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome to another week of Mr. Saturn’s Stars. Spring has been with us now for a bit and as a Poet once wrote,

“April is the cruelest month, breeding

Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing

Memory and desire, stirring

Dull roots with spring rain.”

Not to mention frigging snow as well! At any rate, let’s try to get some insight into those memories and desires we all have and stir some of those dull roots with some new horoscopes. Ready?… Steady…. Let’s go!!!

Aries- As the Sun in your sign this week squares Pluto you will likely be feeling both ambitious and impatient. Add to this the fact that Mercury (also in your sign) will be going station/direct in an extended square to Saturn in your House of Career and it’s likely that there could be some unexpected obstacles in your way as well. With Venus transiting through her home sign of Taurus and your house of Self Worth, the question you need to be asking yourself at this critical juncture is, what’s more important, recognition or money? How you answer this could make a world of difference, especially if someone you’re depending on turns out to be a flake and losing it with them could end up having some inconvenient financial consequences. Let Neptune behind the scenes help you to remain calm by realizing that successful people don’t end up biting off their nose to spite their face.

Taurus- With both Mercury Retrograde and Uranus behind the scenes in your chart squaring Saturn and Pluto in your House of Public Image, there is a great unsettledness now as you try to move forward with your agenda amidst a world that seems adamant about taking its time. Likewise, Venus in your sign aligning with Mars in your House of Philosophy and Neptune in your House of Dreams represents the perfectionist in you that cannot settle for anything less than what you have envisioned. At this point, Jupiter Retrograde in your House of Partnerships could either calm you down and help you see the forest for the trees here, or else end up turning your whole life into a confrontation of irresistible force meets immovable object. Ultimately it’s up to you, but then again that’s where we started. Try to be patient until Mercury goes direct over the weekend, you’ll be glad you did.

Gemini- Mercury is your ruling planet and with it going station/direct this week in an extended square to Saturn there could be issues now surrounding what you need as opposed to what a group or situation expects of you. As the Sun squares Pluto and inconjuncts Jupiter you will likely be required to rethink how your hopes and dreams in this situation and consider how they may need to evolve. It is not necessarily about getting what you want or not getting what you want, but instead realizing what a situation can or can’t allow so that everyone involved can end up with what they truly need. The New Moon conjunct Uranus over the weekend in your House of Dreams could bring you some unexpected rewards, just be sure to make a mental note about how useless much of your previous worry and frustration was.

Cancer- Venus in your House of Dreams aligning with Pluto and Neptune symbolizes a rebirth as you finally manifest something you had always fantasized about but never thought would actually come to pass. Or did you always know you would attain this goal but instead chose to make yourself suffer by whining about it? As Mercury ends its current retrograde and goes station/direct in an extended square to Saturn, it’s important that you sort out this inner dynamic of constantly taking one step back to go two steps forward. Of course realizing that you do this would make the journey to your next dream a little easier, but more importantly you also need to consciously acknowledge your evolution and realize the strength and creativity it took to get where you are. As the New Moon conjuncts Uranus over the weekend, make sure to pinch yourself and say out loud, “This isn’t a dream, it’s my destiny, and I created it.”

Leo- This could be a time of extreme dissonance in regards to your thought patterns, however, the good news is that this unsettledness is probably a harbinger of a whole new frame of mind emerging that will get you out of the rut you’ve been feeling stuck in for a while. Mercury going station/direct in an extended square to Saturn will set the stage for you to challenge authority, while Pluto aligning with Venus in your House of Career will help you find the resources to establish your own sovereignty, at which point you will be ready to be your own boss if you can stand up and face the responsibility. Mars aligning with Neptune is the steam to get to the dream if you’re willing to stoke the fire, so make an effort to break out of your comfort zone where you criticize everything ahead of time so you don’t have to try.

Virgo- Venus in your House of Philosophy aligning with Mars in your House of Creativity is an extremely regenerative influence and with Neptune at their midpoint in your House of Relationships this is a time when you can bring a great deal of love and healing to all your associations. If there is a downside to this influence it would involve the illusory aspects of Neptune, which could allow you to be taken advantage of by a manipulative though charming person. In other words, you’re nice enough to risk being not nice if that’s what the situation calls for. Mercury will end its retrograde and go station/direct in your House of Transformation, where it will then square Saturn in your House of Creativity, thus making this a time when you need to be preparing for any potential snafu’s before trying to move ahead with a project, especially if you’re going to be dependent on receiving help from someone who has not always been reliable in the past.

Libra- Even though the symbol for your sign is the scales and you’re known for always seeking balance, the Astrological joke about Libra is that he or she is simply “an Aries who went to charm school.” Translation; patience is a lesson we all struggle with, so with Mercury in your House of Partnerships going station/direct in an extended square with Saturn in your House of Foundations realize that all the charm in the world isn’t going to help you avoid what needs to be done when it needs to be done. The good news though is Venus in your House of Transformation lining up with Neptune in your work area and Mars at home will likely turn the tide your way if you’re willing to be patient and go with the flow. That is a big if though, especially since Saturn hasn’t given you a break yet this year and your “patience account” is a bit overdrawn. Nevertheless, try to keep the faith and remember the saying, “All things must pass.”

Scorpio- A health concern this week could be more of an annoyance than a real problem, although if it gets you to slow down and rest then it is actually a blessing in disguise. Venus in your House of Partnerships aligning with Pluto in your House of Communication is another blessing coming your way although in this case it should come in the form of a long standing admirer finally getting the stones to make their move on you. With Neptune in your House of Romance expect this person to be as corny as Alfalfa courting Darla in The Little Rascals, but don’t worry, you’ll love it……hahaha!!! That is unless the New Moon conjunct Uranus over the weekend brings up your usual control issues….Oh no!!!

Sagittarius- Hopefully over the last couple of weeks you’ve been busy preparing your resume, planning your escape from prison, or at least attempting to organize something that will get you out of the rut you’re in. If that’s the case, then Mercury going station/direct this week is the perfect time to recheck everything before you bust your move. Venus in your House of Work aligning with Mars in your House of Self Worth should bring you success as long as you feel you deserve it, meaning that if you don’t speak up how will anyone have a chance to see how smart you are. Remember, it ‘s the squeaky wheel that gets the grease so repeat after me……”SQUEEEEK !!! SQUEEEEEEK !!!

Capricorn- With the Sun, Mercury Retrograde, and Uranus all in Aries and your House of Symbolic Foundations squaring Mars, Saturn, and Pluto in your sign, there’s undoubtedly “A Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On” down there in the deep recesses of your being. The question though is what, if anything, are you actually doing differently while the earth is moving under your feet? Hopefully with Neptune in your House of Thinking and Communication you are not trying to maintain an outmoded comfort zone by worrying and complaining and playing the victim, but are instead letting the confrontation between an irresistible force (Aries) and an immovable object (Capricorn) motivate you to find your own sense of truth and peace even if that means going beyond whatever you had formerly thought was sensible. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

“Impossible just

Means that your belief structure

Doesn’t have windows”

Aquarius- Mars, Saturn, and Pluto are all driving you onward from behind the scenes, but to where? The Sun, Mercury Retrograde, and Uranus are all clamoring in your ear, but what are they saying? Much of what you’re compelled to do now is coming from a place of lack, or not feeling like you’re enough, and it’s important for you to realize that to feel that way is like being a cup with a hole in the bottom-you’ll never be fulfilled. The New Moon with Uranus over the weekend will spur you on to make even greater efforts, but effort and energy are not what you need right now. What you need at this point in time is some peace of mind and a little self-appreciation so you can relax. Venus in your House of Romance may be able to provide this for you now as she entices Mars (and maybe even Saturn and Pluto as well) to take a break. Now if they can stop for a bit, why can’t you?

Pisces- Impatience can often be a very negative statement we make about ourselves while not even realizing we are doing it. With Neptune in your sign and Mercury Retrograde in your House of Self Worth squaring Saturn in your House of Dreams, you are clearly mistaking insecurity for ambition now if you insist on pushing ahead instead of reading the writing on the wall that’s trying to tell you to slow down and rethink a few things. Venus moving into a harmonious alignment with Mars indicates that the potential for your success is certainly there, but since these two planets are in stable earth signs it is important now to move slowly and steadily. Assume that any obstacle that arises is a chance to make whatever you’re doing better and not necessarily a verdict on your ultimate success or failure. If you can get that then you can get what you want.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #28 Weekly Horoscopes for 3/19-3/25 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 3/19 – 3/25, 2018

Hi kids!!! We have selected the 3 winners for the St. Patrick’s Day Raffle. If you entered make sure to check your email to see if you are going to be receiving a Witchy Prosperity Package courtesy of the lovely and powerful “MagickalLuna.”

Thanks to everyone who participated! Both Mrs. Saturn and I hope you all had a Happy Saint Patty’s Day. “Erin go bragh.”

“I was court martialled in my absence, and sentenced to death in my absence, so I said they could shoot me in my absence.”

-Brendan Behan

Aries- The Sun enters your sign this week where it will immediately be confronted by Mars and Saturn (aka “The Malefics”). Pay careful attention to your frustration levels now as the archetypal optimist and skeptic within you try to establish their respective philosophies. Mercury and Venus are also in your sign this week with the former going station/retrograde and the later squaring Pluto, which could lead to some very testy confrontations if you feel you are being denied what you believe you have earned. Neptune will also be a culprit for you this week, first when it combines with a Taurus Moon to remind you of what you don’t have and secondly when it aligns with a Cancer Moon to help you feel angry about it. Mr. Saturn usually doesn’t recommend drinking alone, but it might be a better idea than killing someone.

Taurus- As Mercury goes station/retrograde for you behind the scenes and falls just short of a square with Pluto, you could be remembering someone from the past and a misunderstanding you both had. Neptune aligning with the Moon twice this week (first in your sign and then later on in Cancer) could have you feeling sentimental about this situation as you ponder how things might have gone differently. Let Jupiter Retrograde aligning with Pluto remind you that in order to have become who you are now, things back then played out exactly as they were meant to. As the Sun passes behind the scenes for you and squares Mars in your House of Philosophy, try to take solace in making a commitment to move on and not make the same mistakes twice.

Gemini- When the Sun enters your House of Dreams in the middle of the week it will be rapidly approaching squares to both Mars and Saturn, meaning that for every kilowatt of energy you spend fantasizing, an exponentially larger force will be exerting the realization of responsibility upon you. Mercury going station/retrograde in Aries would suggest that the more carefully you’re willing to review what your next move should be, the more likely that Jupiter Retrograde aligning with Pluto will help you to discover some new resources you may have previously overlooked. Neptune conversing this week with both the Moon in Taurus and the Moon in Cancer will be all about listening to your intuition. To illustrate this, Mr. Saturn would add a Taoist quote he loves, “Strength knows how to bide its time, while weakness feels a need to act.”

Cancer- The Sun enters your House of Public Image this week to join Mercury Retrograde, Venus, and Uranus so be prepared for others to start looking at you differently. No, you won’t be having a zit outbreak or a succession of bad hair days, it’ll be more like the person you always knew you could be will suddenly be there for everyone to see. A life change that you’ve been working on behind the scenes for awhile is about to come to fruition, so be sure to pinch yourself and start realizing that someday is now! With Jupiter Retrograde aligning with Pluto take stock of all you’ve learned over the past months while you were struggling to evolve with your circumstances and then clearly realize that you are a warrior and you have prevailed. It would also be a good idea to remember who was there for you and who wasn’t through your various initiations and then make sure you dole out your extremely valuable friendship accordingly.

Leo- As the Sun enters your House of Philosophy and approaches the Spring Equinox, be willing to take on whatever you feel is holding you back rather than just complaining about it as though it were an irrefutable natural law. With Mercury now in retrograde in that same Philosophical House, this would be a perfect time to question everything you believe, especially if those beliefs are not making you happy. Likewise, Jupiter Retrograde in your House of Symbolic Foundations moving closer to Pluto could help you realize that you’ve only misplaced something you thought was lost; like your unique individuality. Be open this week as Neptune aligns with the Moon in both Taurus and Cancer, you could find yourself being visited again by an artistic inspiration you haven’t felt in a long time. You don’t have to do a Gauguin, but you should start making time to nurture your innate creativity.

Virgo- When the Sun enters your House of Death and Transformation this week that will make 4 major planets currently in that House for you. One of them will be Mercury Retrograde, another will be the Sun squaring Mars and Saturn in your House of Creativity, while the third will be Venus, who in turn will be flirting with the 4th , that wild and crazy guy Uranus. At this point if you’re not willing to change something in your life, you could inadvertently be asking to have a brick fall out of the sky and hit you in the head. Ouch!!! In other words, things can’t (and won’t) stay the same. If romance has been lacking in your relationship then let Neptune help you out as he first aspects the Moon in Taurus and then the Moon in Cancer. If you’re stuck in a boring job let Jupiter Retrograde and Pluto in your House of Creativity help you re-do that resume, or perhaps start acting on an idea you’ve been harboring that’s all dressed up with no place to go. In short, you can’t go wrong if you commit to defining this week with a verb (whatever that may mean to you).

Libra- This week you have 4 planets in your House of Relationships squaring 3 planets in your House of Home and Family. On the relationship side there is the Sun, Mercury Retrograde, Venus, and Uranus, while at home you have Pluto, Saturn, and Mars. Mr. Saturn would venture to say that some serious life changes have either served to significantly strengthen a relationship or else sever it (perhaps permanently). Either way you have learned the power of sacrifice so that now you understand the true meaning of love is forgiveness. Congratulations, this new sense of humility you have developed (which was probably discovering that you don’t need to be right all the time) will serve you very well when this whirlwind period is over. Rest assured that all is as it should be as Jupiter Retrograde in your House of Self Worth prepares the student within you so the teacher within you can appear.

Scorpio- With Pluto, Saturn, and Mars in your House of Communication squaring the Sun, Mercury Retrograde, Venus, and Uranus in your House of Work and Routines, a lot is being expected of you now and those who want something have no problem letting you know about it. Of course your control oriented nature wants to be all things to all people, yet the power of being able to say “no” at this time could be what prevents you from being taken away in a straight jacket. Neptune in your House of Creativity will motivate you to be helpful in novel ways, just make sure you prioritize those who are worth your time and those who aren’t. Your sign rules sinners and saints, try to refrain from being the later to save the former.

Sagittarius- In the middle of the week the Sun will enter the sign of Aries and join Mercury Retrograde, Venus, and Uranus in your House of Creativity, which is a lot of dynamic energy at your disposal. Now the question is, where should you direct it? Pluto, Saturn, and Mars are all in your House of Self Worth so how about asking yourself (and perhaps even your employers) what am I worth and if I’m not getting that, why not? An answer to this question could be revealed on the home front as Neptune shows how you can be overly accommodating to the demands of others while ignoring your own needs. Mr. Saturn would suggest you eventually go to therapy about this aspect of your character, but for now how about pushing for a promotion or even looking for another job?

Capricorn- Having Pluto, Saturn, and Mars all in your sign now will make you nothing if not somewhat dissatisfied, just like having the Sun, Mercury Retrograde, Venus, and Uranus all in your House of Symbolic Foundations right now will make you nothing if not impetuous; see the problem? Of course Neptune in your House of Communication early in the week will help you overlook what you’d prefer not to see, especially as it aspects the Lunar Arc moving through your Houses of Creativity, and Work. The buck will stop though in your House of Dreams when Jupiter Retrograde aspects Pluto and you are forced to re-evaluate your current position in regards to where you had planned to be when you started this journey you are presently on. As a now departed Capricorn once sang, “Watch the ripples change their size but never leave the stream.”

Aquarius- Ruled by both Saturn and Uranus each of you Water Bearers has the potential to be either a dictator or a rebel depending on the circumstances. Such extremism is probably most true for you right now with Saturn, Pluto, and Mars behind the scenes squaring the Sun, Mercury Retrograde, Venus, and Uranus all in your House of Communication. As a result, your karmic lesson at this time could very well be that the more obsessed you are with accomplishing something (whatever that may be) the more you probably feel subconsciously that you are not good enough for it. Of course you will reject this suggestion outright, probably even laugh at it, but the simple fact is that pathological people usually have no idea they are pathological. And since you Aquarians take special pride in believing that you know yourselves better than any other sign, I think it would be best to stop here.

Pisces- If dreams are about looking up at a mountaintop then accomplishments are about looking down from one. This has never been truer than now as Saturn, Pluto, and Mars in your House of Dreams watch you make the arduous climb toward their exalted perch, while at the same time Mercury Retrograde and Uranus in your House of Self Worth complain over the fact that you’re not there yet. At this point enter Neptune, the planet of dreams (and your ruler), which is currently in your sign. Be careful not to let your impatience spin excuses that sound practical but would essentially add up to you either chickening out or blaming circumstances for making things too hard. A word to the wise, listen to Jupiter Retrograde in your House of Philosophy as he sings you a little song, “The harder they come, the harder they fall, one and all…..one and all.”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #27 Weekly Horoscopes for 3/12 – 3/18, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 3/12 – 3/18, 2018

*All prizes will be made by my favorite Witch, the lovely and powerful MagicalLuna aka “Mrs. Saturn.”

Good Luck to you all!!!

Aries- Whatever it is you may want there is a way to get it and a way not to get it. Mercury and Venus in your sign squaring Saturn in your House of Career will be staging this debate as the week unfolds, therefore, consider your career choices wisely; not only who you cultivate but who you annoy as well. As Mars slowly gets ready to pass from Sagittarius to Capricorn and enter into a conjunction with Saturn by the end of the month, realize that your conduct now could either establish a solid foundation for your future or else stop you in your tracks next month.

Taurus- As the New Moon in Pisces approaches you are keenly aware of your emotional needs as well as how these desires are not being met. It is important though for you to be honest with yourself and realize that the type of association you’re looking for can only be the result of time and commitment, which you will be reminded of as Mars enters Capricorn to join Saturn and Pluto at exactly the same time as the new Moon dawns in Pisces and trines Jupiter in your house of Relationships. If you don’t have “The” Love of your life yet, at least try to enjoy the love that already surrounds you, of which there is plenty from both friends and family.

Gemini- Make sure that you look before you leap this week as your legendary Gemini impulsiveness could find you caught in a free fall without a parachute. Whatever you expect from others, either in your close relationships or on the job, anything that is spoken about now is going to require a thorough process before it will bear fruit. Mars and Uranus in aspect to start the week will rile you up, but by the weekend when Mars enters Capricorn to join Saturn and Pluto the natural order of things will already have taken over and no amount of emotionalism spurred on by The Sun aligning with Jupiter will change anything. Try to be patient, or at least try not to shoot yourself in the foot.

Cancer- Mars aligning with Uranus to start the week will bring a fast and furious barrage of challenges and the Sun moving into aspect with Jupiter could lead to some intense feelings about what’s going on. On the other hand, Mercury and Venus in Aries should make you quick on your feet and give you the gift of gab as you manage to negotiate yourself through this maze of difficulties. By the time the weekend rolls around Mars, Saturn, and Pluto will all be in your House of Relationships and as they alternate aligning with Neptune in your House of Philosophy, make sure you take the time to appreciate all the love you have in your life. No matter how tough things may seem, you are not alone. Fight the good fight and remember, “A life well loved is a life well lived.”

Leo- With Mercury and Venus now in Aries and squaring Saturn in your House of Work, this is the time for you to get moving out of a dead end job! Jupiter retrograde coming into alignment with Pluto is reminding you that you have already paid your dues in the trenches and now it’s time to move on to something bigger and better. The New Moon in your House of Death and Transformation has already started sketching out some new scenarios in your imagination as to what your future could look like with a career makeover, all that remains now is for you to get inspired and start sending out those applications and resumes.

Virgo- You have spent a while now trying to build up a creative project and now you’re in the home stretch. The last hurdle to overcome is to get out there and promote what you’re doing. Mercury and Venus squaring Saturn in your House of Creativity are chomping at the bit to spread the word so what are you waiting for? Let those Chatty Kathy’s out of the corral so they can schmooze up the countryside. On another note, the New Moon in your House of Relationships aligning with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Communications could see a break through in a stalemate that has been going on between you and a partner. The connection between the two of you was never really threatened, it was just that each of you were changing (for the better) and now you’ve come around that learning curve. Why not celebrate!

Libra- You have been experiencing the ground shifting underneath your feet for a while now, perhaps the time has come for you to pull a “Network” and go to your window, open it up, and shout, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore!” Mercury and Venus in your House of Relationships squaring Saturn (and very soon Mars) in your House of Symbolic Foundations would indicate it’s no longer about hoping the current will carry you along, instead you need to start paddling ferociously toward the challenges that are waiting for you like a gang of bullies in the schoolyard. Just make a commitment to yourself that no one is getting your lunch money, no matter what! The New Moon in Pisces aligning with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Self Worth should help you find that inspiration you need to keep going. As they used to say in the 60’s, “Keep the Faith, Baby.”

Scorpio- Mercury and Venus in your House of Work and Routines should guarantee a busy week, while Saturn in your House of Communication should provide you with the vision and authority to effectively delegate whatever tasks may be too much for you to handle. On the other hand, Mars in Sagittarius aligning with Uranus in Aries could activate your natural control issues and make you want to instead try and do everything yourself. When Mars enters Capricorn later in the week and approaches a conjunction with Saturn, you will no doubt see the error in your judgment and reconsider asking for help. As the New Moon comes into aspect with Jupiter retrograde over the weekend this help could likely arrive as a very timely payback for a good deed you performed in the past. What goes around comes around so enjoy it.

Sagittarius- Mars should be leaving your sign with a bang this week as it trines Uranus in your House of Fun and Creativity. Enjoy the moment while you can because Mars will have to put on the breaks almost immediately afterwards as it enters Capricorn and comes right up on the bumper of Mr. Saturn. Of course with Mercury and Venus already in your House of Fun and both of them squaring Saturn you’ll probably be tempted to keep pushing your agenda when in fact you should be getting down to business and following the rules. A word to the wise, Jupiter retrograde aligning with the New Moon and moving ever closer to Pluto should bring you all the resources you need, but only if you’re willing to listen to what the man say’s and walk the straight and narrow. This is not the time to bite off your nose to spite your face.

Capricorn- By the end of this week you will have Pluto, Saturn, and Mars all in your sign. This is a notable trio that should give you some real gravitas in whatever situations you may find yourself. In addition to these heavy hitters you will also have a beneficial placement of Neptune in your House of Communication, which will no doubt allow you to be the perfect example of being able to talk softly because you have a big stick. Unfortunately though you may have to use that stick on the home front as Mercury and Venus in Aries could motivate a partner or relative to get a little too pushy for your liking. Jupiter retrograde backing up toward Pluto is all about you remembering to value yourself, so don’t spare the discipline when it comes to anyone disrespecting you.

Aquarius- You are undergoing a lot of renovation behind the scenes as Saturn, Pluto, and Mars get to work tearing your ego down to the studs. Neptune in your House of Self Worth could either facilitate this process toward spiritual growth, or else resist it causing you to become lost in an enchanted forest of ego. Either way the New Moon in that same House of Self Worth aligning with Jupiter in your House of Public Image will have you feeling a lot more emotional than usual. Mercury and Venus in your House of Communication will in turn have you talking up a storm, the question is will you be whining and making excuses or promoting solutions? At this point we’re back again to Saturn, Pluto, and Mars behind the scenes, so what other choice do you have except to let the renovation proceed?

Pisces- A weak person will let their difficulties define them, while a strong person will redefine him or herself in order to prevail over their circumstances. With Mercury and Venus in your House of Self Worth squaring Saturn (and soon Mars) in your House of Dreams, you are in just such a situation, so what are you going to do? The New Moon in your sign this week will trine Jupiter as the the King of the Planets retrogrades toward Pluto, meaning that the real issue for you now is not about failure or success, rather it is about the ability to see yourself as you truly are and realize the challenges of life are about your evolution and not your status. A Pisces Native from the past once said, “It is not those who can inflict the most, but those who can suffer the most who will win.”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #26 Weekly Horoscopes for 3/5 – 3/11, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 3/5 – 3/11, 2018

Hi kids!!! As a special promotion Mr. Saturn’s Stars will be conducting a raffle for St. Patrick’s Day (March 17, New Moon in Pisces) highlighting the “Luck of the Irish.” Three (3) fortunate contestants will win a Magickal Package that includes the following; ½ dram of Cash Flow Oil, 2 carved “Zap” size candles (4 ½ inches long) for some extra money luck, and a piece of Aventurine for prosperity. To enter simply go to the 13thpath.com and choose the “Contact” option in the main menu and leave your name, email address, and specify in the message that you’re entering the raffle. The drawing will be held on March 17 and the winners will be notified via email.

*All prizes will be made by my favorite Witch, the lovely and powerful MagicalLuna aka “Mrs. Saturn.”

Good Luck to you all!!!

Aries- With Mercury and Venus entering your sign this week it’s time to reveal some of those brilliant ideas that have been simmering in your noodle. Mars and Uranus will be urging you to move full speed ahead, while at the same time Jupiter will be asking you to meditate on the differences between control and power. By the time the weekend rolls around successive conjunctions of the Moon with Saturn and Pluto will let you know what the truth is; just make sure you’ve been thorough in your speculations.

Taurus- If you haven’t been honest with yourself in your relationships it will be pretty hard to keep up the front as Mercury and Venus take you in the backroom and give you an earful. Jupiter going retrograde in your House of Relationships will also be asking you to rethink your perpetual “nice” act as Mars and Uranus trot out the evidence of how you’re not getting the quid pro quo you’d like from a situation you’ve put a lot of time and effort into. Mr. Saturn would say, “time to get practical” and Pluto would concur.

Gemini- If you want to get your way in a situation start campaigning for support. Mercury and Venus entering the sign of Aries and your House of Groups will give you the gift of gab (as if you needed any help) while Uranus and Mars will make you the sharpest tool in the shed in any gathering, just don’t get too carried away. You may have some great ideas, but by the end of the week Saturn and Pluto will be requiring you to follow through on any promises made (that you do need some help with).

Cancer- If things haven’t been going your way be prepared to rethink a plan. Jupiter going retrograde in your House of Creativity will assist with this by bringing some new information to light that should prove to be very helpful. If things are changing it doesn’t mean to give up on your dreams, instead follow the way the wind seems to be blowing, it may just bring you to where you’ve hoped to be all along. Mercury and Venus entering your Public House promises a busy week of interacting with people and a Sun/Neptune conjunction should deliver an unexpected moment of enlightenment. Don’t forget to yell “AHA” when you finally see the truth.

Leo- As Mercury and Venus enter the sign of Aries and your House of Philosophy this week have the courage to confront how unhappy you are, you might finally be ready to stop playing the victim and instead listen to Mars and Uranus as they advise you to shake things up and change the rules of engagement. Jupiter going retrograde is certainly going to support this by forcing you to deal with a situation that you’ve been letting slide for far too long. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Daily Routines will also start pressuring you to manage your time and energy more efficiently. Read the writing on the wall.

Virgo- You’ve been going along with a situation for so long you seem to have forgotten who you were before it started. As Mercury and Venus move into the sign of Aries, take the time to re-assert your interests before no one else is interested in what those concerns might be. Mars and Uranus are going to shake things up at home so don’t try to pretend it’s not happening; avoidance won’t work. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Creativity will provide you with some real conundrums; remember this is not to break you but to expand you. Nuff said!!!

Libra- You have been an observer in your life for a while now and maybe the time has come to ask yourself what you have learned. Could you act more and talk less? Then do it! With Mercury, Venus, and Uranus all in your House of Relationships communication with a partner at this time is key. That means listen more and talk less. There is a subtext in your interactions with loved ones that you’re missing. You’ve been worrying that you’re not enough when all a partner really wants is to feel accepted by you even when they make mistakes. Try to just listen and don’t think you have to fix everything.

Scorpio- With Mercury and Venus entering your House of Work and Uranus already there, things could get stupid busy on the job front. Combine this with the fact that Mars is in your House of Earnings and it becomes imperative to make sure you’re getting adequately compensated for your time and effort. Don’t let a boss get away with being nice if they’re being cheap! Saturn and Pluto in your House of Communications could mean the time has come to make some necessary demands in whatever facet of your life you’re feeling short changed; (i.e.) Refer back to my comment on nice but cheap bosses.

Sagittarius- With Jupiter as your ruling planet you are a philosophical sign, which at times can mean you’re unrealistic but this isn’t one of those times. Now you might actually be brilliant! With Mars in your sign and Uranus in your House of Creativity you couldn’t conform to the status quo now even if you wanted to, so let your freak flag fly and you might be surprised when everyone makes an allowance for the eccentric artist. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Self Worth are not trying to make you worry about your bills, rather they are trying to get you to bust out and create a new paradigm for yourself. Are you listening?

Capricorn- We can repress things for just so long and then they find a way to escape, often to our chagrin and/or embarrassment. Mercury and Venus are in your House of Symbolic foundations and Uranus has been there for a while, meaning that your darker impulses may manifest now if you have been repressing them. This situation will be further reinforced by Mars behind the scenes and Jupiter in your House of Dreams, therefore the time has come to be totally honest with yourself. Saturn and Pluto in your sign are a revolution waiting to happen so the question now is, which side are you on…the rebels or the status quo?

Aquarius- An epiphany awaits you, are you ready for it? You have spent so long being what others need you to be that you’ve let them define who and what you are. Of course being Mr. or Ms. Individualistic you’re incredulous at this suggestion, but really, are you the leader or the star because others need you to be, or because you feel like less if you’re not the center of attention? This is a heavy question and Saturn and Pluto behind the scenes in your dressing room could turn this into the sort of personal melodrama that Betty Davis shared with those close to her in “All About Eve.” In the words of the great Diva, “Fasten your seatbelts it’s going to be a bumpy night.”

Pisces- Get out there and network!!! With Mercury and Venus in your House of Earnings along with Uranus aligning with Mars in your House of Career, you could find that if you stir the pot now you may encounter an opportunity that you didn’t expect. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Groups have been pushing you toward some more responsible acquaintances so maybe you should let it happen? With the Sun and Neptune coming together now in your sign a major new trend could be revealing itself, let go of old illusions if they’re not playing out and let the Universe be your guide.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #21 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/29 – 2/4, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/29 – 2/4, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. There’s a song by The Mamas and the Poppas stuck in my head now and I just can’t stop humming it. It’s called “Own Kind Of Music” and I ‘d like to dedicate the lyrics of it to the 800,000 “Dreamers” out there who have been left swinging in the wind by our elected officials. For some reason these “suits” couldn’t seem to understand the fact that over 80% of your fellow Americans want you here to stay, including Mr. Saturn.

I’d also like to send the song out to all you “Lost” fans that might remember the tune from the first episode of season two when the world of “The Island” was suddenly transformed (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42).

“Nobody can tell ya

There’s only one song worth singin’,

They may try and sell ya,

‘Cause it hangs them up to see someone like you.

But you’ve gotta make your own kind of music

Sing your own special song,

Make your own kind of music, even if nobody else sings along.”

Aries- This week’s Super Full Moon in your House of Creativity and Romance will be aligning with Mars in your House of Philosophy, meaning that you’ll likely be full of ideas, inspirations, and even some amorous desires that you’ll want to turn into immediate realities. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Career would point to time being on your side right now in terms of getting where you want to go, but only if you can remain patient and make sure to cross every “t” and dot every “i” as you move forward. The Sun, Venus, and Mercury in your House of Groups should insure plenty of cooperation from any playmates and/or co-conspirators as you push forward to conquer whatever it is you’re after, although with an inconjunct between the Super Moon and Neptune in your House of Secrets you could end up revealing more than you should to someone you’re just getting to know. You have a lot going for you now, just make sure not to let your current optimism turn into irresponsible euphoria or a sophomoric infatuation with fame and fortune. Mr. Saturn would remind you “Nothing exceeds like excess is only true in the film Scarface.”

Taurus- The struggle for you now is to realize that your current perspective is still largely based on whom you were and how you used to think, rather than who you’ve become and how the circumstances of your life have changed. This week’s Super Moon is in your House of Symbolic Foundations and it aligns with Mars in your House of Transformation, indicating that you’re already the person you’ve been striving to be; all that’s left now is to act like it. You currently possess the resources to make some long held dreams come true, therefore, have the confidence to take a calculated risk and stop thinking of what could go wrong as if you were being made to jump out of an airplane without a parachute. With Venus in your House of Career squaring off with Jupiter in your House of Partnerships, make sure that you also understand what it means to help people help themselves instead of letting them become codependent and drain your energy. Mr. Saturn would say, “Teach them to fish, don’t keep treating them at the fish market.”

Gemini- This could be a time when your usual racehorse mind might actually stop creating problems by trying to head life off at the pass and instead let things simply be what they are. This might allow you to remember why you’ve chosen the path you’re on rather than constantly worrying about whether or not you’ll be successful. This week’s Super Moon in your House of Communication aligning with Mars in your House of Relationships might find you finally being honest with someone close to you, instead of talking around things to spare their feelings while at the same time ignoring your own. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Death and Transformation are currently aligning with Neptune in your House of Public Image in order to help you realize that what you said to this person was not only in your best interests but theirs as well. In other words, the time has come for you to significantly close the anxiety gap between needing to be accepted by others and simply feeling good about doing what’s right for you. As the Jefferson Airplane sang, “You can do whatever you please/ The world’s waiting to be seized/ You can collect all neglect/ Or all the self respect you need.”

Cancer- The Moon is your ruling planet and this week’s Super Moon in Noble Leo should have you feeling like Popeye after he’s eaten his spinach, especially since it will be aligning with Mars in “I don’t give a sh*t” Sagittarius. Just remember to keep your cool with a hater, after all, like it say’s in the song that’s quoted at the beginning of this week’s horoscopes, “’Cause it hangs them up to see someone like you.” Mercury will also be aligning with Mars this week so you should not only feel spunkier than usual but also sharp as a razor, so sharp in fact that those haters I mentioned before won’t realize your rapier like wit has cut them to the quick until you’re long gone and their pride is dripping on the floor. A Fixed Jupiter/Venus square over the weekend involving your Houses of Creativity and Transformation should have you once again solving the world’s problems, yet at the same time also forgetting to keep for yourself some of that Infinite Love and Compassion you channel for everyone else. Nevertheless, your guardian Angel (and Mr. Saturn) will be watching over you, so don’t be surprised if there’s a nice glass of wine waiting when you get home.

Leo- Having the Super Moon in your sign this week begs the question, what do you need to do that you’ve been neglecting? Mars in flammable Sagittarius aligning with the Super Moon will undoubtedly light a fire under your arse; are you feeling the heat yet? Jupiter on the Home Front squaring Venus in your House of Relationships would suggest you tap into some of that Leo Nobility and take the lead to improve the situation for you and yours. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Routines have no time or patience for lip service now, so take off those lazy Leo lounging pants and grab a hammer and fix something (even if that means hitting yourself in the head a few times to stimulate the blood flow to your brain). Once you get in gear Uranus will floor it and then you’ll suddenly remember how you like being in charge and having everyone look up to you. And don’t worry about those lumps on your head. That fine mind of yours is now functioning at optimum level and that Leonine charisma has also kicked in, meaning that someone may just want to soothe what ails you (if you get my drift, and I know you do with all that blood circulating). Hell, even Mr. Saturn is blushing.

Virgo- With this week’s Super Moon in Leo aligning with Neptune in your House of Relationships and Mars in your Home area, this could be the perfect time to review the underlying dynamics of your closest associations. Jupiter in your House of Communications and Venus in your House of Routines are trying to point out that perhaps your willingness to always be of service to those you care for might have created a situation where these individuals are now taking you for granted. The transit of both Saturn and Pluto through your House of Creativity then becomes about taking the necessary steps to restructure how your relationships play out by learning to say “no” when it is appropriate for your sanity and well being. You could also be confronting a similar problem on the work front as you find yourself tiring under the strain of needing to be nice to people who are not being very nice to you. Take a deep breath or count to ten and if that doesn’t work then try to think of that glass of wine that’s waiting for you at home. You might also try to take solace in the insightful words of the U.S.A’s most recent Nobel Laureate in Literature, “I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes/ You’d know what a drag it is to see you.”

Libra- Your are effectively being triangulated by feelings of dark foreboding as the week begins with foggy Neptune in your House of Routines and Work, Saturn and Pluto in your Home area, and a very personal Jupiter in Scorpio being squared by a very impersonal Venus in Aquarius. Add to all this the Super Moon in your House of Dreams aligning with Mars in your House of Writing and Communication and the stage is set for you to be feeling all dressed up with no place to go. Take heart though, only 13 minutes after the Super Moon arrives Mercury will enter your House of Creativity, meaning you could finally receive some tangible proof that the world hasn’t forgotten about you and that life really does go on after the sh*t has hit the fan. To continue the lyrics of the song that was quoted in the introduction to this week’s horoscopes, “It may be rough goin’,/ Just to do your thing’s the hardest thing to do.” I know this is a hard time but hang in there my scale friends, eventually good stuff will start to happen and balance out this massive fertilizer avalanche you’ve been experiencing so far in 2018.

Scorpio- As the Monty Python Boys used to say, “No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!” In other words, get ready for some surprises this week as the Super Moon explodes like a Super Nova in your House of Dreams just as Mercury arrives in Aquarius at the bottom of your chart to align with Mars in your House of Self Worth. This will all be very exciting and things will no doubt happen quickly, although with Saturn and Pluto in your House of Mental Processes and Thinking you will no doubt try to wrap your mind around it all before you allow yourself even the smallest “OMG, I DON’T BELIEVE THIS!” Well, believe it. You have an opportunity now to make your life into anything you want, you could even fall in love, but no matter what happens your control issues will be seriously challenged. Therefore, take some time over the weekend to reflect and ask yourself the following question, “Where do I want to be in 5 years and is it possible to get there if I’m not willing to trust what’s happening now? Your sign rules death, so why not try to look at all these current unexpected happenings as a kind of “petite morte”, after all, don’t the French say such little deaths feel good?

Sagittarius- Sometimes enlightenment is like a cannon going off and other times it’s the sound of one hand clapping. The Super Moon this week will be in Leo and your House of Philosophy and it will oppose Mercury in Aquarius and your House of Day to Day Thinking. Simply put, on the one hand you will have the Super Moon in the Sun ruled sign of Leo showing what’s possible, and on the other hand you will have communicative Mercury in Aquarius, which rules the collective and the status quo. The ego versus the hive mind with both channeling a tremendous amount of energy into your sign just as Mars, the planet of action, comes charging in. Saturn and Pluto currently in your House of Self Worth represent structure and destruction respectively, so with Mars arriving and awaiting further orders from you there’s no getting around the fact that this is a time of personal revolution. So, what will your manifesto be and who will write it? Jupiter behind the scenes aligning with Pluto and Saturn represents the philosophical dilemma of wealth versus ethics, or the eternal struggle of the haves and the have not’s. Which do you feel like and are you ready to re-evaluate what you think you deserve?

Capricorn- There are two conflicting tendencies going on within you right now. The first is about what you think people expect of you, while the other is much more intimate and represents what you secretly long for but fear you may not deserve. At this time, The Sun, Venus, and Mercury in your House of Self Worth represent your outward desire to be successful, although it is important to recognize how much this ambition could also be the projection of some hidden approval issues. The Super Moon in Leo this week will be in your House of Intimacy and it will align with Mars behind the scenes to ignite some very strong passions in you now for a deep one on one relationship. The more you try to subvert this emotional longing into a material form, the more depressed and frustrated you will likely get, especially with Saturn and Pluto in your sign opposing your House of Partnerships. Any truly profound metamorphosis for you at this time will likely have to do with how you approach an intimate one on one relationship rather than how you detach from your emotions to negotiate the professional sphere. As a word to the wise Mr. Saturn would suggest, “The time to hesitate is through/no time to wallow in the mire.”

Aquarius- You have been focused on succeeding at one thing for so long now you apparently have forgotten that life is a full spectrum affair. Well, the Super Moon in your House of Relationships aligning with Mars in your House of Dreams will serve to remind you what’s what in dramatic fashion. In fact, you should hear Cupid laughing at just about the same time as you feel an unexpected sharp pain in your butt. “OMG!!! Have I been shot with an arrow!!” Surprise!!! Unlike in your career, which you have been directing with ruthless efficiency over the last few months, this love thing is going to present a big time challenge to all your control and vulnerability issues. You’re not used to being emotional, but with Neptune currently in your House of Self Worth, you might be pleasantly (or unpleasantly) surprised at just how mushy you can get. Whatever you do though, try not to turn an affair of the heart into a performance in any way, shape, or form. With the Sun and Venus currently in your sign you certainly have enough charm and charisma going for you now to get away with play-acting at being the lover, however, don’t underestimate the backlash (and ultimate regret on your part) if you engage someone else’s heart and then get cold feet. As the song goes, “What’s it all about when you sort it out, Alfie?/Are we meant to take more than we give/Or are we meant to be kind?”

Pisces- Jupiter in your House of Philosophy squaring Venus behind the scenes is going to make you even more sensitive than usual. Add to this the Super Moon aligning with Mars and Mercury and you will probably feel more courageous about expressing yourself emotionally than you ever have before. This will certainly go against type and the “cool” image you have previously cultivated, but that’s a good thing, maybe even a great thing. Neptune in your sign has had you lost in a fog for a while and no doubt in true Neptunian fashion you have instead tried to pretend like you really know what’s going on. It’s not only been a rollercoaster ride for you, but for everyone that cares about you as well. The good news is that while Neptune can be about illusion, it can also be about enlightenment. So if we now go back to the square of Jupiter and Venus, we can start to see that the action of Jupiter in your House of Philosophy is trying to clear up some of that Neptunian confusion surrounding the nature of your feelings. This is because with Venus in the universal and unemotional sign of Aquarius, you are being given some guidance in how to get passed the confinement of your fear so that you may experience the strength, vulnerability, and forgiveness necessary to fully experience true love. And like the song say’s, “All You Need is Love”….Dah, da da da da….

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #19 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/15- 1/21, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/15 – 1/21, 2018

Hi kids!!! Glad to have y’all back at Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“Faith is self confidence when the self has been surrendered.”

-Aleister Crowley

Aries- With a new Moon in Capricorn pairing up with Venus in your House of Career and squaring Uranus transiting through your sign, you’re no doubt feeling impatient with others this week, however, be careful. No one wants to have anything Rammed down their throats, even if it is something they’ll eventually come to love and need. A little patience will be advantageous to your current ideas of manifest destiny, so take your lead from judicious Jupiter in Scorpio as he aligns nicely with Pluto, the Ruler of Hidden Wealth. Mr. Saturn is also in your House of Career and he and Mercury have concocted a very practical plan for you. The only rub is that Mercury has been dispatched to deliver this important news to you on a goat and even though these friendly yet stubborn creatures are quite hardy, they are not particularly fast with a payload. Later in the week when the Sun and Venus enter Aquarius you’ll likely be busy with a group or organization that just can’t do without you. Listen to Mr. Saturn when he says, “forget what you might not have yet, fabulous certainly counts for something.”

Taurus- You could be struggling this week with making a commitment to either a person or a situation as the New Moon in Capricorn joins up with Venus and squares Uranus. If you’re worried about how this choice may limit your sovereignty or personal freedom perhaps you should first ask yourself what those concepts actually mean to you? The people and circumstances in our lives are supposed to change us; it’s called “evolution.” Are you willing to let someone or something change you or do you think you can bend the universe to your ego (or fear)? Jupiter and Mars in your House of Relationships aligning with Pluto in your House of Philosophy are debating this issue, however, there will be no winner or loser in this discussion if you have confidence in yourself. Just accept that change is inevitable and if it is love that has come knocking on your door, well…Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you.

“If Love comes knocking

Let it in, you will always

Learn something useful”

Gemini- While the Sun, Moon, Venus, Pluto, Mercury, and Saturn are all in your House of Death, Resurrection, and Legacies this week, your commitments and responsibilities both at work and at home will be in need of immediate attention. Initially this will annoy you as Uranus in your House of Dreams will instead want to step out and play, however, duty will win out as Jupiter and Mars in your House of Routines align with Neptune to tug on your heartstrings and make sure you do the right thing. The only question that remains is have you been motivated to these tasks by love or guilt, or both? Reflecting on the answer to this may result in some disturbing moments as your dark side briefly rears its ugly head, but don’t worry, when the Sun and Venus cross over into Aquarius your secret will be safe and no one will suspect your behind the scenes meltdown. As Mr. Saturn will remind you, “no one wants to hear about the labor pains, they just want to see the baby.”

Cancer- A stellium of Capricorn Planets in your House of Relationships this week could cause you to feel overwhelmed with responsibility for those you care about. Jupiter and Mars in your House of Creativity will make it possible for you to draw on some very deep resources to take care of whatever dilemmas are facing you and yours, however, be careful that you don’t completely exhaust yourself in the process of trying to be “A Man (or Woman) For All Seasons.” With Uranus in harsh angle to all those aforementioned Capricorn planets there is also the distinct possibility that you could make the mistake of doing something for someone they should be doing for themselves. As a result, you could end up creating some unexpected (and unnecessary) problems for yourself. Because he hates saying “I told you so,” Mr. Saturn will instead comment to no one in particular (are you listening?) “No good deed goes unpunished…..” Nuff said!!!

Leo- The difference between fear and courage is mostly based on how you feel about yourself. The symbol for Leo is the Lion and, as a result, it is probably the sign of the zodiac most associated with courage. On the other hand Leo is a fixed sign so it can also be associated with inflexibility and dogma, which can sometimes lead to an unwillingness to upset the status quo for fear of losing one’s position. With a logjam of Capricorn planets in your House of Work being squared by Uranus, it is quite likely that you are currently being taken advantage of on the job and the time has come for you to stop being scared of what you might lose and instead speak up. Of course now we’re back to fear or courage being based on how you feel about yourself. Mr. Saturn would suggest you give a listen to the Tom Petty song that goes, “Well I know what’s right/ I got just one life/ In a world that keeps on pushin’ me around/ I’ll stand my ground/ And I won’t back down.”

Virgo- Rebellion is often the result of first having given your power away so that you can prove your worthiness by taking it back. This is a subtle psychological point that often goes unrecognized by all those angry young rebels out there who are projecting their fear and anger on the rest of the world in order to prove something. You need to realize you are no longer a boy or a girl and no one is forcing you to do anything. With 6 planets in Capricorn in your House of Creativity squaring Uranus in your House of Shared Resources, you have come to a threshold of understanding now and whether you do something or not should be based on what you want and not what someone else can manipulate you into. Make sure you are choosing your path based on love not on anger. Once you realize this it may be easier than expected to make a dream come true. As the song goes, “No one you can save that can’t be saved/ Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be in time/ It’s easy/All you need is love…”

Libra- A traffic jam of planets in Capricorn and your House of Symbolic Foundations are all squaring individualistic Uranus and probably making you feel as if your whole world is shifting it’s axis and turning upside down. Jupiter and Mars in your House of Self Worth are offering some help, but because they’re in the sign of Scorpio now they could likely be an indication of inner attainment rather than outer manifestation, which is exactly what you need to realize right now even if that awareness is not currently making you feel any better. Because this is essentially a time of inner evolution it is important that you accept what’s happening and let it guide your decisions rather than clinging to an exterior comfort zone that’s no longer realistic. As another Libra once wrote in his book, “Psychedelic Prayers,”

“The seed of mystery

Lies in muddy water

How can we fathom the muddiness?

Water becomes clear through stillness

How can we become still?

By moving with the stream”

Scorpio- This is a time of attainment for you, yet because you’re a sign that’s ruled by the extremes of the eagle and the scorpion, which in turn represent both the Saint and the Sinner respectively, what you seek could very well be a spiritual accomplishment just as easily as it could be a material one. Either way though it’s going to be about “walking the walk” and not just “talking the talk,” meaning there are no shortcuts for what you want no matter how impatient your naturally intense nature may get. A crowd of planets in Capricorn and your House of Intellect are currently working with Jupiter and Mars in your sign, as well as Neptune in your House of Creativity, which would all indicate that your inherent wisdom will likely take the evolutionary steering wheel away from your naturally desirous temperament so that no matter what you end up with you will attain a true Mastery of yourself in the process. As the song goes, “Come all without, come all within/ You’ll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn”

Sagittarius- The Second House is usually referred to as the “House of Earned Income,” though I prefer to call it the House of Self Worth because you usually won’t earn anymore than you feel you’re worth, a distinction that clearly puts the power of the house squarely in your hands. With a traffic jam of Capricorn Planets currently in your Second House the question you need to ask yourself is, do you feel you are getting what you’re worth from whoever is employing your services? Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio and your House of What’s Hidden are giving you everything from headaches to gas pains as they debate this matter with foggy, illusory Neptune down at the bottom of your chart. It won’t be until later in the week when the Sun, Venus, and the Moon all move into Aquarius and your House of Communication that you’ll finally be able to make out what Jupiter and Mars have been trying to tell you through the cloud of Neptune’s white noise. Hopefully at that point you’ll finally decide to start working with Uranus in your House of Creativity to begin actively seeking a situation worthy of your talents. Then you’ll be able to sing this Jackson Browne song to whoever’s been using you, “And then you’ll have to eat your lunch all by yourself/ Cause I’m already gone.”

Capricorn- The week will begin with 6 planets in your sign (including a New Moon) with all of them led by your ruler, Mr. Saturn. If that isn’t a mandate for some serious shit I don’t know what is. In addition, Jupiter and Mars will be supporting this goat-fest from your House of Groups, meaning it’s likely you’ll be a force to be reckoned with either at work or within whatever organizations you belong to or gatherings you attend. Uranus at the bottom of your chart could, in some instances, be a disruptive or rebellious influence, but with all that responsible Capricorn energy going on it’s more likely that the planet of freedom will give you a unique sense of purpose as you leap from one challenge to another like the mountain goat you are. When the Sun, Venus, and the Moon enter Aquarius later in the week they’ll be in your House of Self Worth, which should help you feel more connected to what’s going on around you and thereby more receptive than usual to the needs of others. Donate your time to someone in need, you’ll be glad you did.

Aquarius- There is so much you feel you want to do, but where to begin? Mr. Saturn and 5 other planets are behind the scenes in your chart like a board of directors trying to plot a course for your manifest destiny, meanwhile Uranus is kicking ass and taking the names of anyone who so much as breathes a word of disagreement or negativity anywhere near you. Ambition like this can sometimes have the negative effect of turning those who could help you into adversaries, however, it’s lucky for you that Venus and the Sun will be entering your sign later in the week to provide you with just the charm you’ll need to convince even the crustiest cynic to crack a smile and enjoy the show. Jupiter and Mars in your House of the Public would suggest you’ll acquire whatever it is you’re pursuing (after all, who could resist you?) just make sure you’re also taking the time to connect with your audience and not just looking at them as numbers to be tallied on that big scoreboard of your ego. As the song goes, “Mr. Big Stuff, who do you think you are?”

Pisces- With Neptune in your sign you most certainly have a vision of what you want for the future, but with 6 planets in Capricorn transiting through your House of Dreams what’s important now is that you start taking care of the nuts and bolts tasks necessary to turn these dreams into a reality. Uranus in your House of Self Worth will attempt to distract you from your appointed rounds, although try to realize that any feelings of rebellion you may have at this time are probably nothing more than veiled excuses that are masking a deep sense of insecurity and a lack of self confidence about what you’re capable of. Later in the week as Venus and the Sun enter your House of Secrets make sure you take the time for some healthy introspection. Share your feelings with a trusted family member or even a professional therapist. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable, it is actually a sign of strength. As the song goes,

“What would you think if I sang out of tune?

Would you stand up and walk out on me?

Lend me your ears and I’ll sing you a song

And I’ll try not to sing out of key”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #16 Weekly Horoscopes for 12/25-12/31, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 12/25-12/31, 20017

Hi kids!!! This will be the last Mr. Saturn’s Stars for 2017, but don’t be sad. I wouldn’t be Mr. Saturn if I weren’t coming back to crack the whip on you through 2018 as well. So enjoy your holidays, reflect on where you’ve been and where you hope to go, and I’ll be here again soon enough to haunt you like death and taxes.

Aries- This has been a long and busy year for you, though strangely enough in this final week before the New Year you might find yourself surprisingly energized rather than exhausted. The Lunar Arc this week will begin in your sign and as it squares Venus conjunct Saturn on Christmas Day in your House of Career you will feel not only proud of what you’ve managed to accomplish in 2017, but more importantly you’ll be driven to move ahead with new plans for 2018 as soon as possible. With Jupiter and Mars coming into alignment with Pluto you might also start to notice more of a symbiosis with others than you have in the past. Neptune in your House of What is Hidden will lend a very Occult air to these new feelings of connection as you find yourself turning away from your usual misanthropic leanings and actually trusting others to do the right thing without an argument first! Mr. Saturn say’s, “Namaste!”

Taurus- A stellium of planets in your House of Long distance Travel combining with Neptune in your House of Friends and a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Relationships could see you either on the road for the Holidays to visit someone you’ve been missing, or else entertaining some local strays in your own cozy nest. A personal New Moon in the middle of the week should put you in a contemplative mood as you take stock of the changes you’ve made over the past year and what the future looks like from your new perspective. An unaspected Uranus in your House of Confinement still has you feeling an itch to do something different or be something more, although maybe that’s just about being okay with who you are at any given moment. As the late Dr. Timothy Leary once said, “You cannot use butterfly language to communicate with caterpillars.”

Gemini- A personal New Moon coinciding with the New Year will find you experiencing an epiphany of sorts as you realize even though there is no “I” in the word team, there is certainly a “Me” and that could be where your problems with relationships begin. The Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto currently in your House of Transformation and Shared Resources are all about making a serious long term commitment to a special someone. The alignment of these aforementioned planets with Jupiter, Mars, and Neptune would further indicate that any such commitment would have to begin by relinquishing some of your legendary control issues. It’s not enough to simply want to be different, the trick is to let your self be transformed by what challenges you and that must necessarily begin with trust. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

“When people say they

Want to change, it often means

They hope things will change”

Cancer- Right up until New Years Eve you’ll be burning the candle at both ends trying to keep up with a whirlwind of current challenges, as well as preparing for whatever may be looming on the horizon for 2018. After a relatively calm Christmas with Venus conjunct Saturn in your House of Partnerships, Uranus in your Public Sector and this week’s Lunar Arc should start things off with a bang. Not to fear though, with Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Creativity working with The Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto in that same House of Partnerships that furnished you with a safe holiday, you and your significant other (as well as any other friends or family members who might get involved) should be more than a successful match for any emergencies that might come down the pike. Neptune in your House of Philosophy will also mean that your legendary intuition will be sharper than usual, so pay attention and have faith that you’ll know what to do as your comfort zone continues to morph into a new and more courageous version of you. Like the song goes, “You’ve got to pick up every stitch….”

Leo- You hate to say no to anyone, much less those you care about, but to keep your sanity this holiday week you’re going to have to disappoint someone; just make sure it’s not yourself. Mars and Jupiter in the sign of Scorpio and your House of Family could be about conflicts at home or with in-laws. The Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Work will likely mean that somebody on the job is going to try to dump something on you that is not your responsibility. Whether it’s a family member or a co-worker, you’re going to have to stand up for yourself because no one else is really thinking about your needs. Like the Oracle told Neo in the Matrix, “On the one hand you’ll have Morpheus’s life and on the other hand you’ll have your own.” Mr. Saturn say’s, “You may not want to believe you’re the one until someone rudely tries to convince you they are.”

Virgo- Whenever you think about being responsible it’s usually in regard to someone else’s needs. In the past this way of thinking has often put you in a difficult position and you’ve sworn repeatedly to yourself to be tougher in the future so you won’t be taken advantage of. With 4 major planets now in the duty oriented sign of Capricorn (and ironically your House of Fun) the time has come for you to put your needs first and make sure you enjoy yourself. Noble Jupiter aligning with compassionate Neptune should help with this #mefirst movement you need to get going, while the Lunar Arc approaching Mercury should motivate you to oppose the expectations of a friend or partner who always assumes their way is automatically your way. Listen carefully to the words as Mr. Saturn sings one of his favorite Dylan songs, “Maggies Farm:”

“Well, I try my best

To be just like I am

But everybody wants you

To be just like them”

Libra- Yours is a sign of partnership and this week the themes of loyalty, cooperation, and, most importantly, love, will all be front and center. The Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto crowded into your House of Family and Foundations will bring you a quiet, yet inspirational Christmas at home, even if it’s just you and your partner. After that the Jupiter/Mars conjunction currently going on in your House of Self Worth will align with Neptune and inspire you to join hands and circle the wagons with your loved ones (even those you’re not especially thrilled with) to overcome any obstacle or challenge that may be looming on the horizon. As the 2017 calendar ends, a Mercury/Moon opposition could bring you the inspiration for a new direction in the coming year. Make sure you take notes and don’t let these thoughts pass. “This could be big,” say’s Mr. Saturn, as he pours you another glass of Pinot Noir waiting for the ball to drop……..

Scorpio- As 2017 ends the only planet traveling above the horizon in your chart will be the Moon. All the other planets are passing beneath the horizon, which is traditionally thought to be symbolic of one’s private or inner self. Hence as the year concludes you should probably reflect on what 2017 has meant for you psychologically rather than what you have accomplished materially. In other words, no matter what you’ve managed to do or acquire, are you happy? Mars and Jupiter in your sign lining up with Neptune in your House of Fun would speak to inspiration, is that how you’re feeling? A stellium of planets in Capricorn would conversely speak to practicality and change, so what needs to be different for you to feel that inner fire? Resolve to trust yourself more in 2018 and then allow yourself to dream. Like the song say’s, “I tell you love, sister, it’s just a kiss away, it’s just a kiss away….”

Sagittarius- Mercury in your House of Communication is rapidly approaching an aspect to innovative Uranus in your House of Creativity that will be exact in the first week of 2018. Meanwhile, the Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto are all currently in your House of Self Worth so that the immediate question becomes, what practical steps need to be taken RIGHT NOW to set up all that impending Mercury/Uranus energy? In other words, what will it take for you to focus on what’s important rather than on Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio gossiping behind the scenes? No doubt you’re focused on what they’re saying as they shoot the shit with illusionary Neptune, but what has believing that dirty little secret called “I’m not good enough” gotten you in the past? Just before New Year’s a Gemini Moon will first square Neptune and then sextile Uranus, so pay attention to what you believe about yourself and what options that leaves you. Can you hear Mr. Saturn singing? “Oh mother, tell your children, not to do what I have done…. To spend your life in sin and misery in the House of the Rising Sun….”

Capricorn- Logic will always teach us something, especially when the world doesn’t conform to our expectations. Conversely, intuition and emotion together will always lie, but separately, never. Sorry for waxing philosophical, but this week could either be a logjam or a dam opening for you depending on what you believe. Four major planets in your sign aligning with Jupiter and Mars represents pragmatism central, while on New year’s Eve both Mercury and a Gemini Moon squaring Neptune will be visions of sugar plums dancing in your head. Which is the truth? Uranus all by itself in your House of Foundations is proverbial chaos, meaning you really never know what’s going to happen until it does. Now if I told you that you’re a genius you’d probably not agree, however (and here’s the rub) if I said you weren’t good enough to succeed you might consider it. Decide which you believe and then see where it brings you. That is the only logic Mr. Saturn thinks you’ll need for 2018.

Aquarius- Your mind is as ubiquitous as the wind. Your creativity is like the will of a tiger as it mesmerizes its prey. Your spirit is a majestic mountain that seems to touch the heavens. You are feeling invincible, yet all things must eventually pass and when these miraculous events you are experiencing finally fade, then who will you be? Another insufficient breeze on a sweltering day in the city? Another old and tired tiger in a zoo? Or perhaps another mountain reduced to a hill after it is divided in half by a highway? With The Sun, Saturn, Venus, Pluto, and pretty soon Mercury all in Capricorn and your House of Confinement, the writing is on the wall for something that can’t last forever to eventually change. This is not a doomsday prophecy or simple hatin’, it is merely a warning not to take yourself too seriously. There is a famous story about the Taoist Sage Chuang Tzu who couldn’t decide if he was a butterfly or a man. “I wonder if he was an Aquarius too?” asks Mr. Saturn.

Pisces- Is Reality subjective or objective? If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to see it did the tree really fall? The 20th Century Mystic Teacher Gurdjieef once said, “Man’s greatest weakness is his suggestibility.” With Jupiter and Mars arm in arm in your House of Philosophy and aligning with Neptune in your sign, the propensity now is to believe whatever you want and not doubt your ego until you’re smacked down. A stellium of Capricorn planets in your House of Dreams would suggest you err on the side of caution if possible, and if not, then make it possible because you don’t want some damn hypothetical tree flattening you in a world where bones break and people fail because they believe all kinds of stupid things. As the New Year arrives and sociable Mercury transits your House of Public Image, don’t take those back at home for granted. After all, they are the only ones you can really depend on to yell “Timber!!!”
