Mr. Saturn’s Stars #44 Weekly Horoscopes for 7/16-7/22, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 7/16-7/22, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

I will be using a term in this weeks horoscopes that some of you may not be familiar with, it’s called the Via Combusta or “Fiery Way” and it refers to an area in the chart that runs from 15 degrees Libra to 15 degrees Scorpio. As you can probably guess from the name, this stretch of the Zodiac is considered a no man’s land of sorts, where if things could possibly break bad they likely will, especially if it involves a transit of the Moon (which just happens to be there this week). In fact, among practitioners of Horary or “Predictive” Astrology, it is generally felt that if the Moon is transiting the Via Combusta it is usually best to simply trash the whole horoscope and try casting another one after the Moon has moved on.

I hope the inclusion of this interesting little tidbit will prove to be helpful, as some of you will end up being affected by this controversial transit over the coming week.

Aries- With Marsretrograde in your House of Dreams squaring Uranus in your House of Earnings, don’t plan on spending any money this week that you don’t actually have in your hand, not that you won’t eventually get it (by the time Venus aligns with Jupiter over the weekend you probably will) but cash flow problems could be a distinct problem at this time. Neptune retrograde in your House of What is Hidden and Pluto retrograde in your House of Career  will likely mean something you’ve been working on for a while could get delayed, which could actually turn out to be a blessing in disguise, so try not to lose your shit, okay?  The Lunar Arc through the Via Combusta might end up testing a friendship so try to walk away if someone just isn’t getting it, it’s their problem, not yours.

Taurus- As the Lunar Arc moves through your Houses of Work and Relationships it will be transiting the Via Combusta, so be careful in your interactions with co-workers, especially toward the end of the week when a Scorpio Moon conjuncts Jupiter; let any catty or snarky remarks slide, you’ll be glad you did, especially as Mars retrograde in your House of Career squares up with Uranus in your sign. Getting down in the mud with someone who’s just not worth it could very well have you biting off your nose to spite your face, so be careful. With Jupiter now direct in your House of Relationships and moving into alignment with Venus in your House of Romance, the weekend could end up dealing you a lucky encounter that will make up for any other crap that may happen this week. Keep your eyes open.

Gemini- Have you ever heard the phrase, “don’t shit where you eat?” It speaks directly to workplace romances so try to keep it in mind before you let anything happen between you and a co-worker, especially since the Lunar Arc will be transiting the Via Combusta and that can be trouble, particularly with Uranus behind the scenes in your chart squaring Mars retrograde. Make sure not to let a minor flirtation turn into an unhealthy attraction or, God forbid, the passion for an ill-fated affair just because you may be bored and need a little excitement. Neptune transiting your House of Public Image will make anything you do that’s even a little shady look infinitely worse, so don’t even think about being a home wrecker or sneaking around anywhere; people will hate you for it and you could get hurt.

Cancer- All you Cancer parents out there be on your toes. The Lunar Arc transiting the Via Combusta will be going through your Houses of Home and Children, where it will first square and then sextile Pluto in your House of Relationships. This could mean that you need to start treating your grown up baby like an adult if their age indicates that it’s time they started acting like one. Or perhaps you literally do have babies, if that’s the case then you may need to start laying down some rules (and penalties) if these little ones are needing some boundaries. Jupiter is also in your House of Children and as it aligns with Neptune in your House of Philosophy you will want to be both generous and helpful to your offspring, just make sure that when Jupiter aligns with Venus in Virgo over the weekend that you have not lost the farm due to your willingness to make everyday Christmas regardless if someone’s been good or not.

Leo- Try to be more sensitive around family members this week as the Lunar Arc transits the Via Combusta and your Houses of Communication and Home. Mars retrograde in your House of Relationships will be squaring Uranus in your House of Career, so if your frustrated for whatever reason at work try not to bring that anger back to the hacienda if you can. Particularly since Jupiter is also in your House of Home now and when that Via Combusta Moon hits the King of the Planets some real down and dirty exchanges could result. If you can manage to keep your frustration on the down low until Venus eventually advances through your House of Self Worth and aligns with Jupiter, then the charming side of you will be all anyone sees. Until then, use the Neptune transit through your House of Transformation to put up the best glamour you can.

Virgo- You try to be respectful, but if anyone violates your particular sense of decency then all bets are off, so just make sure that as the Lunar Arc transits the Via Combusta and your Houses of Self Worth and Communication that you don’t end up being an unwanted policeman in someone else’s district. Uranus in your House of Philosophy squaring off with Mars retrograde in your House of Routines could have you incensed at an unexpected mishap that you feel is the result of some unfairness either on the job or at home; it’s one thing to be annoyed, but please, try not to get emotional about it as you may end up making the situation worse instead of better. As Venus moves through your sign she will eventually align with Jupiter over the weekend, therefore, if you can keep your criticisms of a person or a situation within reasonable boundaries, you could find yourself the unexpected Master of Ceremonies aboard a happy ship sailing into next week.

Libra- Your natural sense of fairness could be challenged this week as the Lunar Arc traverses the Via Combusta that runs between your sign and your House of Self Worth. Jupiter is also in that House of Self Worth so try to remain patient if someone without a clue tries to act like they know it all. Uranus in your House of Transformation squaring Mars retrograde in your House of Creativity could mean that the Universe has sent you this buffoon as an unwitting teacher, so try not to shoot the messenger. Instead, use Venus moving through your House of Inner Realization as a meditation on patience as she aligns with Jupiter, then let the Goddess calm the savage beast, just like the maiden closing the jaws of the lion in the Tarot Card titled “Strength.”

Scorpio- Are you ready for an adventure? Specifically into the dark confines of your self where all the Scorpionic Mysteries reside? A word to the wise, it ain’t going to be like Harry Potter and the Basilisk, more like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the giant squid, just sayin’. As the Lunar Arc this week goes through the Via Combusta, it will pass over your horizon (otherwise known as your Rising Sign) and emerge into the light like a piece of abstract art emerging from your subconscious. Neptune in your House of Creativity should be right in time with this, especially if it turns out you’re into the art thing. Uranus in your House of Relationships squaring Mars retrograde in your House of Foundations will probably end up making your intimate encounters about as Freudian as they can get, as a result, be prepared for partners to be a little in awe of you, as few can dazzle others with their darker sides better than the Scorpion. Some may think this mysterious part of you that’s being exposed is sexy, but that sort will be a dime a dozen. With Jupiter in your sign now, choose to gravitate toward those who can appreciate your Mystical side; they’ll be the keepers.

Sagittarius- Who are you really? The answer provided by the Lunar Arc passing through the Via Combusta this week will probably surprise a few folks, as that stretch of Zodiac for you goes over the cusp between the House of Groups and the House of Confinement, or the face you let the world see as opposed to the face you only reveal when the Moon is Full and it’s the Witching time. You usually wear your mask well, but with Uranus in your House of Healing and Mars retrograde in your House of Communication, you may not be able to keep the hounds locked up now if someone crosses your path at the wrong time. Saturn retrograde in your House of Self Worth might help to keep the beast in you at bay, but maybe whatever transpires will end up being about the victim’s lesson rather than the predator’s; with that said, anyone who messes with you now deserves whatever they get. Rrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

Capricorn- This will likely be a testy week for you as Mars retrograde going through the sign of Aquarius and your House of Self Worth will be approaching an explosive square with Uranus in your House of Creativity. What others may be demanding of you now could turn out to be quite annoying, especially if you really need to be taking care of your own affairs. As Venus slowly moves into a lucky sextile with Jupiter in your House of Dreams, some of the demands being made of you now could inadvertently lead to the discovery of certain untapped resources within yourself that could turn out to be quite valuable. With Pluto and Saturn currently in your sign and both of them retrograde, it is a given that deep changes will be going on for you for a while, although occasionally you may get an unexpected break (like this week) and end up ahead of where you ordinarily would have been if you weren’t inconvenienced. The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Aquarius- With Mars retrograde in your sign this is probably not the time to be pushing forward with any new projects, but don’t let anyone try to tell you that. Uranus in your House of Symbolic Foundations will provide the ants in your pants, while Saturn retrograde behind the scenes will provide the frustration, all you need now is the proper illusion and you’ll be all set to make a wonderfully stupid mistake. Jupiter in your House of Career aligning with Neptune in your House of Self Worth could fit the bill, as their particular combination of ego and fog should have you over extending yourself in truly epic ways. Mercury inconjunct Pluto will have you wanting to get to the truth, though as the Moon transits the Via Combusta across your Mid-heaven you won’t want veracity as much as you want attention, so the week will likely end with a spectacle, let’s just hope it’s not you falling off the high-wire; although Venus aligning with Jupiter will act as a safety a net, so you should be okay in the end. Whew!!!

Pisces- Trust could be a big issue for you now as the Moon crosses the Via Combusta, which spans your Houses of Transformation and Philosophy respectively. Jupiter will be there too and as he aligns with Neptune in your sign it’s not that you’ll be suspicious of anyone, on the contrary, if anything you’ll be too trusting and that could lead to some real problems, especially if it involves other peoples money (or lack thereof). Mars retrograde in your House of Confinement will likely have you throwing caution to the wind, and as he squares Uranus in your House of Communication whatever you overlook now out of impatience will most certainly come back to bite you on the ass in the near future. Mercury inconjuncting Pluto as it approaches its station/retrograde phase could have you listening to the wrong people, therefore, try not to let someone who wants to purchase something of yours convince you it’ll be okay if they owe you for it.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #43 Weekly Horoscopes for 7/9-7/15, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 7/9 -7/15, 2018

Hi kids!!!

SCOTUS Haikus

“The right to choose is

Universal Law, not just

That of any land

If freedom can be

Given or taken away

Then no one is free

Let Congress and the

President take note, no one

Has that many votes.”

Aries- The New Moon this week in your House of Symbolic Foundations opposing Pluto retrograde in your House of Career will likely bring up some loose ends in a project you’re involved with that may require you to rethink, or even rework, something you were convinced was a done deal. At first this could be very frustrating for your “full speed ahead” mentality, but with Venus entering Virgo and your House of Work and forming a Grand Earth Trine with Uranus in your House of Earnings and Saturn retrograde in your House of Career, any t’s you have to re-cross or I’s you have to re-dot will make you quite glad you did, especially since Jupiter also goes station/direct this week in your House of Death and Resurrection, meaning that any steps back you have had to take as of late will no doubt result in at least two corresponding steps forward quite soon.

Taurus- Your attitudes have been changing for a while, but it will likely be this week that you’ll finally see someone different when you look at yourself in the proverbial mirror. Uranus currently in your sign has had a lot to do with this, but now that it is approaching a Grand Earth Trine with Venus entering Virgo in your House of Creativity and Saturn retrograde in your House of Philosophy, expect to witness yourself doing and saying things that you never would have thought possible just a few months ago. A good part of this change in yourself might seem awkward with the New Moon in emotional Cancer and your House of Communication opposing Pluto retrograde in your House of Philosophy, as you find that sharing more of yourself will leave you feeling more vulnerable than what you were brought up to think was proper and/or safe. Don’t worry, with Jupiter going direct in your House of Relationships you’re a big boy/girl now and could probably even teach Mom and Dad a thing or two about being an adult.

Gemini- With the New Moon in the sensitive sign of Cancer and your House of Self Worth opposing Pluto in your House of Transformation, this needs to be a time of necessary compromise on your part if you expect to accomplish anything at all. The approaching Grand Earth Trine of Uranus in your House of Confinement, Saturn retrograde in your House of Transformation, and Venus in your House of Symbolic Foundations, would speak to the need to adjust to the unexpected as though it were a great new idea you don’t understand yet, as opposed to something that either frightens or disappoints you. You should also be careful of a tendency to take the path of least resistance when you’re confronted with making a mistake. In other words, don’t play the blame game or be willing to lie just to get out of an awkward moment, especially if there are witnesses or people committed to finding out what the truth is; Try not to be made an example of for something that’s hardly worth sacrificing your reputation and standing for, especially if it ends up with you be hung in effigy in the public square.

Cancer- The New Moon in your sign this week opposes Pluto in your House of Relationships and aligns with Jupiter going direct in your House of Creativity and Romance, which could mean that you may finally start to feel like you’re coming out of a long funk that has made the Summer up until now feel like nothing more than a cloudy day at the beach. A Grand Earth Trine between Uranus in your House of Groups, Venus in your House of Communications, and Saturn retrograde in your House of Relationships could see you reconnecting with old friends and getting your social life back on track like it was before the last set of exciting changes you remember turned into what has recently become a new obstacle course of stressful responsibilities. If you can manage to stay in the moment instead of dwelling on a negative past or fearing an uncertain future, then you should be able to, as the song goes, “Take it to the limit, one more time….”

Leo- If you have been unwilling to confront your emotions, a setback at work could trigger you to finally admit how dissatisfied you are with how your life seems to be slipping away without anything to show for it. At first this will be really depressing, but then a Grand Trine in earth comprised of Uranus in your House of Career, Venus in your House of Self Worth, and Saturn retrograde in your House of Work could likely end up motivating you to get your ass in gear and do something different than just complain and maintain the status quo. Jupiter going station/direct in your House of Symbolic Foundations and the deep, dark sign of Scorpio should be a motivating force as it chafes against outspoken Mercury in your sign, who it turns out is envisioning so much more for you than what you’re currently doing. If you feel you’re currently lack confidence, Mr. Saturn would suggest that you stop thinking of it as a pre-requisite one must start with, instead courage is usually something you acquire along the way after first being naïve enough to be absolutely sure of something and then finding out otherwise.

Virgo- As Venus enters your sign this week it will first trine Uranus in your House of Philosophy and then trine Saturn retrograde in your House of Creativity, which could result in a sudden desire to head in a new direction and abandon something you’ve been working on for a while. Your natural critical faculties will be on hyper alert now, so pay attention to what you’re actually doing by projecting whatever it is you subconsciously don’t like about yourself onto an activity that up until now has seemed important to you. The New Moon in your House of Dreams opposing Pluto retrograde in your House of Creativity is a cathartic influence, for sure, but maybe you’re really supposed to confront your lack of internal motivation now instead of abandoning a ship that may not actually be sinking?  Jupiter going station/direct in your House of Communication, where it will both trine Neptune in your House of Relationships and square Mercury behind the scenes, could be the cue for you to reach out and talk to someone about what’s bothering you before you act out something with a friend or partner you may regret later.

Libra- This week’s New Moon in your House of Career opposite Pluto in your House of Symbolic Foundations may end up speaking to some deep seeded ideas that you’re going to have to let go of in order to succeed in the future. Venus entering your House of Confinement could bring up issues of self-love as she aligns with both Uranus in your House of Transformation and Saturn retrograde at the lowest point in your chart, meaning the time is ripe now for you to take a new approach regarding the expectations you have about what you deserve in life. The danger here is that you’ve inadvertently confused the low road with the high one in so far as you’re all to willing to always be the better person as the shmucks and hustlers are getting the better stuff. The Universe will always make room for true excellence, so stop believing that only shit rises to the top; that may be true in a cesspool but that’s not where you are or what you’re offering. As Jupiter goes station/direct in your House of Self Worth and squares Mercury in your House of Dreams, be willing to point out to others how you are that multi-faceted diamond in the rough and then trust people will be able to sense the difference between quality and plonk.

Scorpio- As Jupiter goes station/direct this week in your sign and squares Mercury in outspoken Leo, this could be the time to make a case for yourself on the career front. Your ambitions during this period should also be supported by the New Moon in your House of Philosophy opposing Pluto in your House of Communication, which is about the confidence to ask for what you want rather than waiting for it to be offered. A Grand Earth Trine of Uranus, Venus, and Saturn retrograde will be occurring in your Houses of Partnerships, Dreams, and Communication respectively, so make sure you get out there and let the world know you’re available. Anytime Uranus is involved there is a possibility for a surprise, so be willing to reach beyond whatever you think your current capabilities are; you’re ready to move to the next level and you just might get the opportunity!

Sagittarius- Co-dependency can be a truly insidious thing because it can sneak up on you before you realize what’s happening. Hopefully Jupiter going station/direct behind the scenes in the power driven sign of Scorpio and squaring Mercury in your House of Philosophy will help you to realize that by trying to constantly win with a negative person you’re only becoming just like them! The New Moon opposing Pluto retrograde in your House of Self Worth represents the need to liberate yourself as soon as possible from these kinds of energy vampires in your life, and that means do what ever you need to do; wear garlic, carry a wooden stake, get a gun with silver bullets, just do it! Uranus in your House of Work will be part of a Grand Earth Trine this week with both Venus in your House of Career and Saturn retrograde in your House of Self Worth, meaning that any efforts you’re willing to make to push your prospects in the workplace now could see an opportunity appear unexpectedly, just like the air bubbles that let you know the fish are biting! Cast that line!

Capricorn- As this weeks New Moon opposes Pluto on your Relationship axis you’re going to have to decide what needs to go, either a person you’ve been with too long, or the practical, logically unassailable excuses you always come up with about being too busy for a relationship? Uranus in your House of Romance could end up bringing something unexpected as it aligns with Venus and upsets the apple cart in your House of Long Distance Affairs, perhaps drawing to you an exotic stranger who gets under your defenses and seduces you with their mysterious style? As the saying goes, nothing is true, everything is permitted, so why not let yourself go? Jupiter going station/direct in your House of Dreams and aligning with Neptune in your House of Communication could serve to soften you a little, so that when Mercury in your House of Intimacy makes that pass you will follow like the sailors who were drawn into the rocks by the Sirens; Oooh la la !!!  Hurts so good, doesn’t it?

Aquarius- The New Moon in your House of Work opposing Pluto behind the scenes could very likely represent the changes you’ve been hoping for, that is, if you can get out of the rut of believing that better times must necessarily always be in the future; perhaps you are overlooking something quite special that’s been right in front of you all along? As Jupiter goes station/direct in your House of Career and squares Mercury in your House of Partnerships, what may look like a difficult situation could actually be just the challenge you need to show what you’re capable of? A Grand Earth Trine in your Houses of Foundations, Legacies, and Hidden Things would insinuate there might very well be buried treasure right in your back yard, but only if you can discontinue your habitual skepticism and aren’t adverse to a little digging. What have you got to lose anyway, except what you’ve convinced yourself of that may not be true?

Pisces- The Sun in your House of Creativity opposing Pluto in your House of Dreams could be about realizing that your future success may be more about what you need to let go of rather than what you need to acquire. Jupiter going station/direct in your House of Philosophy will help you with this, as it squares Mercury in your House of Work and brings you to the realization that you’ll never earn anymore than you think you’re worth. Keeping that in mind, how much do you value yourself as opposed to needing someone else’s approval? This week’s Grand Earth Trine in your Houses of Communication, Dreams, and Relationships would suggest putting more time and effort into being what you feel you need to be rather than what someone else may need you to be. Likewise, Mars retrograde behind the scenes in your chart at this time is more about strategy than action; so take a few moments to be clear on whom you are before you try to prove to anyone what you are.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #42 Weekly Horoscopes for 7/2-7/8, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 7/2-7/8, 2018

Hi kids!!! With 5 retrograde planets now in the heavens, plus Mercury in ego driven Leo squaring Jupiter and inconjuncting Neptune, get ready for some down and dirty (and unbelievably annoying) bickering this week between Rump and the Congress over trying to railroad a Supreme Court appointment through at the expense of our rights. It reminds me of the Charles Bukowski quote, “Arguing politics is like trying to screw a cat in the ass.” God help us all!!!

Aries- With retrograde planets currently in your Houses of Career, Transformation, Dreams, and Confinement, you are more dependent now on circumstances and what others need to do for you than ever before and it’s driving you crazy! Just make sure you don’t go crazy! This weeks Lunar Arc will be well aligned to Uranus for its duration, which could either be a blessing that will help you find your Zen, or else it could turn out to be a glorious but devastating bonfire as you angrily burn some bridges behind you like an angry Hun. If there is a lesson for you this week it would have to be along the lines of what the Byrds were trying to communicate when they put music to the verse from the Bible that goes, “There is a time for every purpose under heaven.” Amen.

Taurus- You are generally a patient sign, but events this week will likely put even your inherent placidity to the test. The illusion of believing you can control what others do will come up for some major review now as well, as both Mars and Jupiter retrograde challenge Mercury as the Messenger Planet travels through the impetuous sign of Leo assuming his opinions are law, or at least unquestionable. Uranus in your sign aligning with the Lunar Arc all week will have you asking and likely answering your own questions, especially if you don’t like the answers that the people who are causing the problems are trying to pawn off on you. If there is one thing to keep in mind this week it is this;

God grant me the serenity

To accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And wisdom to know the difference.

Gemini- As a mutable air sign you can always envision the possibilities in any given situation, however, where you are often lacking is in thinking through the specifics and/or considering the feelings of those you expect to help you. With retrograde planets this week in your Houses of Career, Philosophy, Transformation, and Routines, this is not a time to be pushing the envelope no matter how many ants are in your pants making you want to dance! Mercury and Mars are opposing each other on the Leo/Aquarius axis with both in turn at harsh angles to Jupiter retrograde in humorless Scorpio, meaning don’t try to run any bullshit up the flagpole about how you’re so concerned with others welfare, everyone knows you’re trying to blow smoke up their ass and they may just decide to mess with you for spite. A word to the wise, “Tell the truth, it’s the easiest thing to remember.”

Cancer- If you remember the old Popeye cartoons it was usually necessary for him to first get pretty beaten up by Bluto before he would then pull out his spinach and kick some serious butt. As the Sun passes through your sign and trines Neptune in your House of Philosophy and Jupiter in your House of Creativity, the time for taking shit from people along with thinking less of yourself or your ability to change your circumstances is rapidly coming to an end. Even though there are 5 retrograde planets now, the time is nevertheless ripe for strategizing about what you need to do and who you need to be to do it. The Lunar Arc all week will be aligned nicely with Uranus first, then Mars, then Uranus again, so dare to think that you deserve that gold ring you’ve been dreaming of, you might just surprise yourself and end up getting it in the not too distant future.

Leo- With both Mercury and Venus in your sign you can be quite the charmer now, and along with Mars retrograde in your House of Relationships you might just be able to convince a stubborn person in your life to relax and consider trying things your way. A family responsibility may be weighing heavily on you now, so try to share what you’re feeling with a loved one. With the Sun in Cancer behind the scenes aligning with Neptune in your House of Death and Transformation, perhaps your worries for someone close are actually because of your own deep seeded fears and not because anything is really wrong. Saturn retrograde in your House of Work in harmonious aspect to Uranus in your House of Career might just result in an older person on the job taking you under their wing. This could be just the break you need!

Virgo- There are 5 retrograde planets now in your Houses of Work, Relationships, Creativity, and Communications, so the time is ripe to review where you are, who you’re with, where’s it going, and what needs to be fixed? The answers may not be apparent to any of these questions just yet, but they do need to be asked and you do need to be honest with yourself. Neptune retrograde aligning with Jupiter retrograde will help you to be forgiving of yourself and others if things haven’t quite worked out the way you’d hoped, just make sure you’re not blaming yourself for something that might have resulted from someone else’s lack of interest, commitment, tolerance, or whatever. The last thing the world needs is another self-critical Virgin, really! Uranus in your House of Philosophy aligning with Saturn retrograde in your House of Creativity may be about either an older or younger person needing a little guidance from you. Trust that you have what they need and be generous with your time, you could make a big difference in this person’s life.

Libra- A Grand Trine this week between the Sun, Jupiter retrograde and Neptune retrograde in your Houses of Career, Earnings, and Work respectively would seem to be pointing to a resurrection of sorts if things have been slow. Add to this Pluto and Saturn in your House of Symbolic Foundations and Uranus in your House of Transformation and we’re talking about a lucky break, quick turnaround, or perhaps just managing to be in the right place at the right time. Whatever you’ve been working on creatively, Mercury in theatrical Leo opposing Mars retrograde in your House of Creativity could very well suggest you may be on to something that’s a lot bigger than you realize, the caveat though is that it’s not quite the right time yet to show it to the world. In the meantime, make sure to keep plugging away at it so you will be ready when opportunity does come knocking, and it will!

Scorpio- With Jupiter retrograde, the Sun, and Neptune retrograde forming a Grand Trine now you are probably chomping at the bit to move forward in your career, but the Universe is saying, “not so fast,” as Mars retrograde in your House of Foundations engages in a tug of war with Mercury in Leo transiting through your House of Career. Pluto retrograde in your House of Foundations could be the reason some news you’re waiting for is delayed, however, with Uranus in your House of Relationships aspecting Saturn retrograde this communication will probably come when you least expect it and could contain much better news than you had originally hoped for. As the song goes, “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try, sometimes, you get what you need.”

Sagittarius- The Sun is transiting through your House of Transformation and forming a Grand Water Trine with both Jupiter and Neptune retrograde, which will probably find you feeling a flood of emotions as the health of a loved one could end up taking a turn for the worst. A lot could fall on your shoulders because of this with Uranus in your House of Routines aligning with Saturn retrograde in your House of Self Worth, just don’t try to do everything by yourself if there are other family members in the vicinity who can pitch in. In others words, if you can’t save the world then who will save you if you go down? Mercury in your House of Philosophy could have you searching for answers to a question that may be destined to remain a mystery for the time being, as Mars retrograde in your House of Communication will probably find you leaving messages for someone in power that just won’t be answered.

Capricorn- If you feel an unexpected pinch in a vulnerable place on your body sometime this week, it could be one of Cupid’s arrows finding its mark. The Sun in your House of Relationships is forming a Grand Water Trine with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Friends and Neptune retrograde in your House of Communication, meaning that someone close by (perhaps an associate at work?) could possibly be harboring secret feelings for you and they just might be ready to declare themselves. Uranus in your House of Romance squaring a Mercury/Mars opposition in your Houses of Intimacy and Self Worth respectively will no doubt have you feeling both flattered and embarrassed by the attentions of this new suitor, however, be careful not to let the situation gain any traction if you feel it might end up ruining another scenario that is much more valuable to you. In other words, don’t shit where you eat!

Aquarius- Mars retrograde in your sign opposing Mercury in Leo in your House of Relationships could see you having a serious disagreement this week, either with a loved one or a co-worker. The fact that Uranus is squaring the Mars/Mercury aspect as well as aligning with Saturn retrograde behind the scenes, could also mean that this confrontation really shouldn’t be a surprise. In fact, it’s likely based on a power struggle that has been simmering under the surface for a while. With the Sun passing through your House of Work and forming a Grand Water Trine with both Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career and Neptune retrograde in your House of Earnings, you could get quite frustrated about this situation. Just be careful that with Pluto retrograde behind the scenes igniting that Grand Trine that you don’t let the floodgates open and end up expressing all your residual anger over this particular incident at an inopportune moment. In other words, try not to kill a fly with a howitzer over this.

Pisces- Try not to drive yourself crazy this week with attempting to guess what an employer needs just because you’re too shy or scared to ask them. Mars retrograde behind the scenes opposing Mercury in your House of Daily Routines are both being squared by Uranus in your House of Communications, which could indicate that hesitating to speak openly with this person about something you’re not sure about could draw a worse reaction from them because your silence might make them think that you’re trying to conceal something. Don’t risk looking dishonest to avoid being embarrassed; if it’s something they should know let them realize they can trust you by telling them. On the other hand, if your boss has been increasing your responsibilities and not compensating you for your extra work, realize that the price of your embarrassment to ask for a raise will pay back important dividends by letting you know whether or not you’re working for someone you can trust.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #41 Weekly Horoscopes for 6/25-7/1, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 6/25- 7/1, 2018

Hi kids!!! Before I commence with this week’s horoscopes, I would like to take a moment to suggest an idea for a new hash tag movement.

It’s usually my opinion that public discourse on matters affecting our society should remain civil, however, when you have a cabal of racist buffoons in the white house who believe it’s a good idea to separate children from their parents, then as far as I’m concerned all bets are off regarding respect or decency toward these monsters; call them what they are!

With that in mind here’s my hash tag idea;

If you take away the “T” you have “rump,” which the dictionary defines as “the hind quarters of an animal.”

Next you turn “rump” into an acronym;

Racist Unqualified Mendacious Putz

So you don’t have to look it up, mendacious means “lying” and putz is Yiddish slang for “dick”.

There you go, #Rump. What d’ya think? If y’all like it then you have my permission to spread it around!

Aries- With a Full Moon conjunct Saturn and 5 retrograde planets in your Houses of Career, Transformation, Dreams, and Hidden Obstacles, this will no doubt be a decidedly un-Aries week for you.  Add to this the fact that your ruling planet (Mars) will be going station/retrograde and moving back toward a square with explosive Uranus, and the stage could be all set for you to lose your shit if you don’t watch out! Both Jupiter and Neptune retrograde could provide you with the Zen you need, but that will only be if you can tune out Mercury in Cancer who’ll be trying to rile you up into an emotional, self-righteous frenzy like an ignorant trump supporter. Try to remember the old Taoist proverb, “Strength bides its time, while weakness feels a need to act.”

Taurus- A Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your House of Philosophy would make this an ideal week to re-examine whatever isn’t currently working in your life. Mars going retrograde this week in your House of Career could put a damper on a moonlighting venture that was just starting to look like it was gaining some traction, although with Uranus in your sign and aligning with both the Moon and Saturn don’t assume that a setback will be a failure; perhaps you are being re-routed to the back door of success? Both Jupiter and Neptune retrograde in your Houses of Relationships and Dreams respectively could bring back someone from the past who is now in a position to help you negotiate whatever obstacles you may now face; keep the faith!

Gemini- The time has come for you to recapitulate a strategy you thought was going to work because, quite frankly, no one is buying it. Gemini is a sign that’s notorious for being shady but don’t believe for one second that repeating something over and over is convincing anybody. Mercury will be moving from emotional Cancer into righteous Leo this week, and there he’ll be confronted by both Mars retrograde and recalcitrant Uranus, who will each have no problem yelling “bullshit” in your face if that’s what you’re peddling! Five retrograde planets during the week may also serve to bring up some additional shit from the past that you probably shouldn’t have said either, thus making this week’s lesson, “tell the truth, it’s the easiest thing to remember.”

Cancer- This week’s full Moon will be in your House of Relationships conjunct with authoritative Saturn and aligning with Uranus, the planet of the unexpected. Whatever you thought was going to happen at work or in an extracurricular activity you’re involved with, get ready for a surprise! While things haven’t been changing fast enough for you, you’ve been changing at lightning speed so maybe the time has come for you to catch up with the success you’ve been convinced has eluded you! Jupiter retrograde in your House of Creativity and Neptune retrograde in your House of Philosophy should help you with changing a hidden, insecure attitude that has never served you well so that you can turn an overly polite, self deprecating style of communication into a more confident approach that smacks of the leadership and honor that is at the core of your character. You have brains and talent, don’t be shy, flaunt them!

Leo- You are a noble sign so there is a definite limit as to how much crap you can take before you roar back! The sun behind the scenes in sensitive Cancer opposing the Full Moon conjunct with Saturn in your Hose of Work will find you at the end of your rope in a relationship with either a coworker, a boss, or even the entire company you’re employed by. Mars going retrograde in your House of Relationships will have you rethinking your interactions with others over the next couple of months and realizing how isolating yourself from the things that you don’t like has only served to secure you a position holding the shit end of the stick. If you are offended by the way things are then respect your self and either speak up to authority or find a new environment that is more in alignment with your core beliefs.

Virgo- If you don’t like what you see going on around you then become the change! With the Sun in sensitive Cancer transiting through your House of Groups and opposing a Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your House of Creativity, turn what’s bothering you into a source of innovation rather than letting it trap you into a sense of sadness or hopelessness. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Communication aligning with Neptune retrograde in your House of relationships would encourage you to share your feelings about any unfairness or injustice you see, there may be more like minded people out there than you might think who will find your expressions inspiring. Mars going retrograde in your House of Work and squaring Uranus in your House of Philosophy could very well be about you getting involved in some form of activism, be willing to upset the apple cart for what you feel is just and honorable.

Libra- With Mars going retrograde in your House of Creativity the next couple of months will likely be about reviewing a project you’re involved with and making whatever changes are necessary for it to become the success you have envisioned. On a grander stage, the Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your House of Foundations aligning with Uranus in your House of Transformation is about reading the writing on the wall and getting ahead of the curve in regards to implementing whatever changes have become necessary in regards to your long term growth. You have been a work in progress for a while now and the pieces are pretty much in place for you to start letting the world know you’re there. Jupiter has been retrograde in your House of Earnings for a while and once it goes direct next month expect some well deserved rewards for what you have been working on for the last year to start to appear like the first buds of a magnificent Spring.

Scorpio- With Jupiter in your sign now you are feeling very independent, perhaps even like a law unto yourself, yet with the Full Moon meeting up with Saturn in your House of Communications it may be time for you to answer to a greater power, namely responsibility. The Sun passing through your House of Philosophy will have you contemplating something greater than simply your own desires, while Uranus in your House of Relationships may bring some unexpected circumstances your way whereby if you don’t step up someone you care about is really going to be in a pickle. What to do? Your sign rules both saints and sinners so sacrifice is not foreign to you. As a result, Neptune in your House of Creativity will likely help you to choose the highroad and find both innovative and compassionate solutions to whatever those around you may need.

Sagittarius- Mars will be going station/retrograde in your House of Communications this week, meaning that if you haven’t been annoyed enough to openly complain about something that’s been bothering you then get ready for that person or situation to get worse as the retrograde of the warrior planet will bring it back into a loose square with volatile Uranus. The Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your House of Self Worth will also be aligning with Uranus, so don’t think ignoring a bully will work, you’ll need to change what they expect of you and a good insult or well documented complaint may work wonders for both the situation and your self esteem. The Sun in sensitive Cancer will be in your House of Transformation opposing the Full Moon and Saturn, so if it turns out you feel guilty about confronting anyone look at it this way, the individual in question has no problem devaluing you as a matter of sport so for you to strike back is effectively an act of self love, therefore, do you and don’t feel guilty.

Capricorn- As of late no one has had any problem making demands on your time and energy, however, with this weeks Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your sign and both of them aligning nicely with Uranus in your House of Creativity, what you need to be thinking about now is not what someone else needs, but what do you need? Mars going station/retrograde in your House of Self Worth would suggest that taking time for yourself may garner a dissatisfied response from some quarters, but how many of these squeaky wheels should be doing something for themselves for a change instead of depending on you? Jupiter retrograde in your House of Dreams aligning with Neptune retrograde in your House of Communication would suggest killing with kindness anyone who is taking advantage of you; firstly because it’s more humane, but mostly because these passive/aggressive wimps won’t know how to deal with it.

Aquarius- With Mars going station/retrograde this week in your sign it would probably be a good idea to slow your roll, especially with the Full Moon conjuncting Saturn in your House of Confinement and aligning with Uranus in your house of Symbolic Foundations. Allow for the unexpected, which also means let go of your control issues. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career aligning with Neptune in your house of Self Worth could present a problem with you prioritizing what’s important, as your tendency is to make your issues paramount and everyone else’s secondary. In the world of Aquarius such hubris may be true, but the real world has a way of enveloping our illusions and reminding us we are nothing much more than a fish in a fish bowl. The Sun in sensitive Cancer and your House of Work could have you attaching emotional significance to something that’s nothing more than business. Try not to take things personally and you might just get through a difficult situation and manage to hustle another day.

Pisces- Mars going station/retrograde in your House of confinement could find you wondering what the world wants from you and worrying if you can manage to provide whatever that may be. Saturn conjunct the Full Moon in your House of Dreams with both of them aligning with Uranus in your house of Communication could refer to some mixed news that will seem both positive and negative at the same time. If you’re not getting what you want from a situation, don’t panic, it doesn’t mean you won’t get something useful out of it eventually. Let Jupiter in your house of Philosophy working with Neptune in your sign help you to find the silver lining in this seemingly dark cloud. If work has been either stressful or burdensome as of late, don’t expect it to get any better as Mercury in your House of Routines pulls into a square with Uranus in your House of Communication. The boss doesn’t care what you think, so just take home your pay and realize you won’t be there forever.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #39 Weekly Horoscopes for 6/4-6/10, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 6/4-6/10, 2018

  “I’d sooner, except the penalties, kill a man than a hawk;

but the great redtail

Had nothing left but unable misery

From the bone too shattered for mending, the wing that

Trailed under his talons when

he moved…..

…I gave him the lead gift in the twilight.

What fell was relaxed, Owl-downy, soft feminine feathers; but

what

Soared: the fierce rush: the night-herons by the flooded river

cried fear at its rising

Before it was quite unsheathed from reality.”

-Robinson Jeffers

Aries- You are standing on a precipice and looking into the distance at where you’d like to be, however, since you’re not there yet how are you dealing with where you are now? Part of the problem might be that you’ve been misinterpreting delays in your forward progress as your goal receding further away, instead of realizing it is more a matter of the speed of your approach. In other words, if a town is a hundred miles away the distance doesn’t change no matter how fast or slow the train goes. With Pluto retrograde in your House of Career and Jupiter retrograde in your House of Transformation, the treasure map you started following at the beginning of the year is still valid. What’s going on now is that when one embarks upon the actual trail to his or her dreams it is no longer about hoping or fantasizing, but rather a matter of dealing with the sorts of illusions that inevitably arise between theory and practice; a dialogue that is playing out now between The Sun and Mercury in your House of Logical Thinking and Neptune in your House of Confinement and Obstacles. As an old Pop Song used to advise, “Just hold on loosely/ But don’t let go/ If you cling too tightly/ You’re gonna lose control.”

Taurus- As the attainment of a goal gets closer you could be starting to see how the journey is no longer about what you’re trying to manifest, but rather about how you’ve transformed yourself by becoming what you needed to be in order to succeed. Venus at the bottom of your chart and Pluto at the top would further indicate that this transformation was as much driven by a newfound sense of self-love as by any need for control or material acquisition. The Lunar Arc this week travels through your Houses of Public Image and Dreams where it will then go around to the back door and enter into your sign, meaning that You are on the verge of realizing that you have managed to find yourself by surrendering yourself; congratulations and Namaste!

Gemini- You have no idea how people are really seeing you now, which could find you accused of being either a blithering idiot or an arrogant S.O.B. Likewise, you could also end up overestimating yourself, or else be driven to an act of desperation by fearing that you aren’t good enough for a particular person or situation. Oh, the rollercoaster ride of being a Gemini! As Venus transits through the nurturing sign of Cancer and your House of Self Worth to come into an opposition to Pluto, you could also decide to escape your confusion by instead becoming immersed in someone else’s problems. This may satisfy a desire you have to be needed but be careful, someone who is willing to dump on you might very well also have no problem blaming you if  your help doesn’t fix his or her life. In short, try to stay on the down low this week and keep it simple; don’t give any sh*t or take any wooden nickels.

Cancer- If the week starts out looking like it’s going to be a re-enactment of the Alamo try to remember not to sweat the small stuff (and it’s all small stuff). Over the last few months some shit has certainly hit the fan, but what you may be overlooking is that you are no longer the same person that drew said shit to yourself. Instead, you have become a Spiritual Warrior/Jedi-Ninja Badass who has managed to find a solution for everything the Universe has thrown at you. Notice as well who is still standing there beside you as the dust from this tragic year begins to settle. If you have love and a little luck then you always stand a chance, no matter what comes down the pike. Remember as well that luck can sometimes come to us in the form of a test, like when the Greek Gods would disguise themselves as unfortunates and then reward those who offered them hospitality and punish those who didn’t. In other words, don’t stop being the good person you are and don’t believe “nice guys finish last.” As the song goes, “If you have a friend on whom you think/ You can rely/ You are a lucky man!/ If you’ve found the reason to live on and/ Not to die/ You are a lucky man!”

Leo- With Pluto retrograde in your House of Work and Jupiter retrograde in your House of Foundations, you may be reflecting on your current career status and thinking perhaps you’ve made a wrong turn somewhere. Venus behind the scenes opposing Pluto may be adding to this sense of melancholy, but don’t cue up “Is that All There Is?” just yet. The Sun and Mercury in your House of Dreams could offer up a little inspiration if you’re willing to try, but Neptune in your House of Transformation could also offer up a little hopelessness if you’re willing to indulge in a pity party. Uranus crossing your House of Career would indicate a change is definitely coming, while at the same time Saturn retrograde in your House of Work will be trying to remind you how you arrived where you currently are. So, if you don’t want the new boss to be the same as the old boss, just make sure that you’re starting “TO DO” some things differently to get a different result. Get it? Got it? Good.

Virgo- It’s time to make a choice. Doing something just because someone said you can’t may be a good way to say f*ck you, but it is not a recipe for finding your own brand of happiness. Likewise, finding fault with everything will eventually leave you all by yourself with nothing to do. Remember in The Matrix when Smith had Neo in a choke hold on the train tracks and as the train approached Smith commented that the train whistle was “the sound of inevitability…”? Well, for you that train is embodied now by Pluto as it opposes Venus in your House of Dreams and likewise aligns with Jupiter in your House of Communication and Neptune in your House of Partnerships. Without a destination in life all we’ll ever have is a house full of travel brochures laying all over the place. Pick a destination, buy a ticket, take the ride, you’ll have no one to blame or rebel against except yourself. Can you handle that much responsibility? Can you handle that much happiness?

Libra- If you’re feeling like a “Rider on the Storm,” don’t despair, just continue driving as carefully as you can through the deluge and keep those high beams on. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Self Worth and Pluto retrograde in your House of Symbolic Foundations represent the distance you’ve traveled and the experience you’ve gained, so with each of these planets in esoteric aspect to the Sun and Mercury in your House of Philosophy, expect some new possibilities to crop up like a rainbow over the drenched landscape. The Lunar Arc this week will travel from your House of Creativity through your Houses of Work, Partnerships, and Transformation, meaning that along with these new possibilities just mentioned you can also expect some new challenges as well, but don’t worry, “Intrepid Traveler,” a wise journeyman like you should be able to come up with some novel solutions from the depths of your well earned wisdom and understanding.

Scorpio- A word used to describe something is not the thing itself, which Aleister Crowley pointed out in “Magick in Theory and Practice” when he commented that the letters d-o-g are not an actual dog. With this in mind, it will be very important for you in the coming week to clearly determine the difference between what you think is real and what actually exists. While there are certainly an infinite number of possibilities in the universe, actualities eliminate just about all of them as soon as one makes the choice to eat a veggie burger or ride the subway. Likewise, making additional choices creates myriad new possibilities; therefore, realize that the best way to change your reality is to act on any intention you have about what you’d like to do with it. With the Sun transiting now through your House of Death and Transformation, this is a time when you can clearly see things for what they are, just make sure you’re actually doing something with this info; “Break on Through to the Other Side!”

Sagittarius- If you want either an unhappy relationship or an unsatisfying situation to change, it’s important to first realize how you feel you benefit by these circumstances being as they are. Sometimes we allow others to use us because it makes us feel needed. Other times we use others because it makes us feel important, or else we believe we are owed something. Either way, nothing can or will change for the better until you re-evaluate whatever the reward is you think you’re getting that justifies being unhappy. With the Sun and Mercury in your House of Relationships, Pluto retrograde in your House of Self Worth, and Jupiter retrograde behind the scenes, how you think about yourself right now is going to be a strong determinant in how you deal with others, but even more importantly, it’s also going to reveal why they deal with you the way they do. As the Beatles once sang, “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.”

Capricorn- Responsibilities at work or in a project you’re involved with could increase right now, although before agreeing to expend any more of your time and energy you should first examine the situation and see if more of an effort on your part is really the solution. In other words, make sure that your need to be all things to all people hasn’t become an inappropriate matter of pride that could very well allow some lazy ass to benefit at your expense. I am pointing this out because a Mars/Uranus square in your Houses of Self Worth and Creativity would indicate that overworking yourself at this time could end up being both frustrating and stressful, especially if some of your personal priorities have to be shifted in order to accommodate whatever is being demanded from you. Saturn retrograde is also in your House of Self Worth and as it trines Uranus make sure you remember how unhappy you were the last time you shelved your dreams to take care of something that was ultimately another’s responsibility…  “I remember when the darkness doubled, and lightning struck itself…”

Aquarius- With the Sun and Gemini passing through your House of Creativity and entering into an esoteric alignment with Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career and Pluto retrograde behind the scenes, you need to be careful now not to allow yourself to get caught up in other peoples excitement, especially if it plays to your need to be loved and admired in exchange for promising something you just won’t be able to deliver. Neptune in your House of Self Worth could contribute to such hubris if you let it, so try to be vigilant and don’t allow yourself to get talked into trying to be superman. Ego or pride can be far more dangerous than kryptonite, so beware. In the meantime, a Pluto/Venus opposition squared by the Moon in Aries midweek could find you in hot water at work if you don’t watch your mouth with a fellow employee, or even the boss. Uranus having just entered your House of Symbolic Foundations to square Mars in your sign may have you feeling you oats, just don’t think you’re more of a thoroughbred than you are or you could end up as dog food before you know it.

Pisces- If you have been letting your responsibilities slide either at work or on the home front, you could get a rude awakening as circumstances suddenly take an inconvenient or even downright embarrassing turn. This could come in the form of an unexpected attack from someone you didn’t even realize was mad as Uranus in your House of Communication squares Mars behind the scenes. How could they feel this way, you’ll think to yourself as they scream, “how could you do this to me?” Of course you will be able to apologize your way out of this due to the fact that Jupiter retrograde aligning with Neptune will help them to remember that you are really nice even if you’re more than a little flakey. On the other hand, with Saturn retrograde squaring an Aries Moon in the middle of the week, you better remember to make a note on your “to do” list to seriously work on whatever it was that may have upset someone, or else you may have to hire a full-time bodyguard; just saying.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #38 Weekly Horoscopes for 5/28-6/3, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 5/28-6/3, 2018

Hi kids!!! Mr. Saturn has a question for you…When was the last time you looked up into the sky, not just to check if it’s going rain, but to stare into an endlessness of azure until you lose your bearings and feel engulfed by eternity? Huh? This week if the weather is nice and the sky is clear, why don’t you take a moment and try to raise the ceiling of your thoughts by looking toward the heavens; perhaps an inspiration will respond?

Now for some Horoscopes!

Aries- If you’re expecting news from afar, this week’s Full Moon in Sagittarius will no doubt have you waiting with great optimism. I would like to say congratulations, but not so fast. Saturn in your House of Career will be inconjunct the Sun in your House of Communications, which will likely mean delays or some additional responsibilities on your part before an important project can go through. No doubt this will be annoying and you should get plenty of help with either your depression or righteous indignation from an inconjunct between the previously mentioned Full Moon and Uranus in your House of Self Worth. On the other hand, Mercury coming around to trine Mars in your House of Dreams should help you to deal with any unforeseen challenges and also help to remind you that what you’ve earned will not be denied, but there is a process to go through. As the Byrds once sang, “There is a time to every purpose under heaven.”

Taurus- This week’s Full Moon will occur in your House of Transformation and oppose the Sun in your House of Self Worth, which will likely give you a burst of optimism that you’ll most definitely need. I say this because the current Full Moon axis will have some unexpected shadows to it. The first will be Saturn in your House of Philosophy inconjunct the Sun, while the second will be Uranus inconjunct the Full Moon, likely giving whatever situations you may find yourself in a frustrating “one step forward, two steps back” feel. What will no doubt save the week for you will be a Grand Trine occurring between Neptune in your House of Groups, Venus in your House of Communication, and Jupiter retrograde in your House of Partnerships. This lucky alignment should enhance your interactions with both colleagues and loved ones so that patience, understanding, and cooperation will be the dominant themes and help you to keep any obstacles or difficulties in a proper perspective.

Gemini- Your ability to effectively interact with some recalcitrant individuals will be highlighted this week as the Full Moon lands in your House of Relationships. Saturn in your House of Transformation will be at odds with the Sun in your sign, likely bringing to the surface some deep seeded issues about surrendering control, while the previously mentioned Full Moon will be inconjunct Uranus behind the scenes. These two aspects together are probably referring to the defense mechanisms you still exercise that are no longer appropriate to who you currently are. You are no doubt going to be challenged, but try to recognize that if you come out swinging like you have in the past then you’ve only taken the bait. A Grand Trine between Venus in your House of Self Worth, Jupiter retrograde in your House of Work, and Neptune in your Public Image area would strongly suggest that you recognize your advantages in the situation and exercise some restraint. Like an old Taoist proverb states, “Strength will bide its time, while weakness feels a need to act.”

Cancer- The Full Moon axis this week is between your House of Work and your House of Confinement, meaning you should give careful thought to what you believe is holding you back as opposed to how you may be holding yourself back. The Sun behind the scenes in communicative Gemini is inconjunct Saturn retrograde in your House of Relationships, suggesting that you might be having a hard time differentiating between the constructive advice someone who truly cares for you is offering and the hurtful criticism you have received in the past from either insensitive family members or abusive partners. Uranus in your House of Groups is signaling that it’s time to let your freak flag fly and stop letting the vindictiveness of ignorant people get under your skin. Likewise, the Grand Trine between Venus in your sign, Jupiter retrograde in your House of Creativity, and Neptune in your House of Philosophy is all about luck if you could just stop worrying about the things you don’t have yet and remember instead how you’ve always managed to get whatever you have truly needed.

Leo- Any creative aspirations you might currently be having should be given some special attention this week as the Full Moon will be in that particular area of your chart. At the same time Saturn retrograde in your House of Work will be inconjunct the Sun in your House of Dreams, which could mean that making time for something that’s important to you may be difficult right now, however, with the previously mentioned Full Moon inconjunct Uranus realize that if there’s a will there’s a way, so decide what really matters and commit yourself to it. With a Grand Trine this week of Venus behind the scenes, Jupiter at Home, and Neptune in the House of Sex, the weekend could be the perfect time for you and someone special to either get out of Dodge or hunker down at their crib or yours for some romantic research. Make sure to take your time and play with feeling….”that’s the way, uh-huh, uh-huh, I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh….”

Virgo- There could be some serious discussion this week about what others expect of you as opposed to what you really want to do in a certain situation. The Full Moon inconjunct Uranus in your House of Philosophy could represent a real need for you to follow a different drummer, while the Sun inconjunct Saturn in your House of Creativity will represent the extra responsibility that will fall on your shoulders if you’re really serious about making your own kind of music. If you’re absolutely sure that you have to do you, then you also need to be clear with anyone else who’ll be affected by your decision. A Grand Trine later in the week between Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune should assure you not only the cooperation of someone whose opinion you’re concerned with, but good luck in your endeavors as well.

Libra- The Full Moon axis this week will be between your Houses of Communication and Philosophy with respective inconjuncts to both Uranus in your House of Transformation and Saturn in your House of Foundations, meaning that you could unexpectedly find that something you’ve been laboring on quietly in your own little corner of the world could have a much broader appeal than you might have suspected. A Grand Trine between Venus in your House of Career, Jupiter retrograde in your House of Earnings, and Neptune in your House of Work and Service could represent the lucky break you need and it could come about because of something you did in the past for someone who is now in a position of much greater influence.

Scorpio- At the same time that this week’s Full Moon in your House of Self Worth will be inconjunct Uranus in your House of Partnerships, Saturn will also be inconjunct to a flaky Gemini Sun in your House of Legacies, meaning that you need to make damn sure you’re not taken advantage of again by an employer who tries to substitute flattery for adequate compensation. In other words, talk softly in any new work situation but also be willing to wield that big old stinger y’all got if anyone messes with yo’ cheddar. A Grand Trine of Jupiter, Venus in your House of Philosophy, and Neptune in your House of Creativity would further suggest that a possible work opportunity could turn out to be quite lucrative as your organizational skills, work ethic, and leadership by example will impress a potential boss who’s quite willing to reward someone of your caliber if they show they can stand up for exactly what they’re worth.

Sagittarius- With the full Moon in your sign and a Gemini Sun in your House of Relationships, the time has come to be honest with yourself about what you expect of your friends as well as the past disappointments that have come about when those expectations have not been met. Saturn retrograde in your House of Self Worth will simply ask what you think you deserve, and based on that you’ll be able to figure out if your hopes have been too high or if the people you think of as friends are merely underachievers when it comes to respecting your feelings or valuing what you do for them. The Grand Trine occurring between Jupiter behind the scenes, Venus in your House of Transformation, and Neptune at the Foundation of your chart might generally be a good thing, but there is a danger here that your need to be liked will outweigh your desire to be respected so that you’ll likely end up with what someone else thinks you deserve regardless of what your expectations may be. How does the saying go, “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.”

Capricorn- Saturn retrograde in your sign in a wacky aspect to a hard to pin down Gemini Sun in your House of Work could find you either under-employed or hating your job. Meanwhile, the Full Moon behind the scenes in an equally wacky aspect to Uranus in your House of Creativity could have you deciding to either find something better or else test the boundaries of what you can get away with where you are. A Grand Trine occurring between Jupiter, Venus, and Neptune in your Houses of Hopes, Relationships, and Communication respectively could inspire you to take an emotional or creative risk, especially since Jupiter and Venus in harmonious aspect are all about luck. However, since Neptune can sometimes be about illusion, first make sure there’s water in the pool before you leap!

Aquarius- What are you willing to convince yourself of in order to pursue a dream? The Full Moon inconjuncting Uranus at the bottom of your chart could have you thinking unrealistically about what you believe are your superpowers, while the Sun in your House of Creativity inconjuncting Saturn behind the scenes could also have you doubting yourself. Welcome to the crystal clear, yet totally illogical world of Aquarius. Under normal circumstances the Grand Trine occurring this week could be a great thing, but since it will include Neptune in your House of Self Worth, Jupiter in your Public Image area, and Venus in your House of Work, there is a definite potential here for some really serious illusions about how you see yourself as opposed to how others view you. If you’re convinced you should take a gamble make sure to ponder an old gambler’s saying before you bet the farm, “Don’t play if you can’t afford to lose.”

Pisces- The symbol for your sign is that of two fishes swimming in opposite directions, which is quite apropos considering that this weeks Full Moon axis has the Moon in your House of Ambition inconjunct Uranus, while The Sun at the lowest point in your chart is inconjunct Saturn retrograde in your House of Dreams. If it’s possible to repeat a mistake you’ve made in the past you probably will. On the other hand, if it’s possible to convince yourself you’re not making the same mistake twice when you are, then you’ll probably do that instead. In other words, you haven’t thought this through at all so some obvious problems that have been staring you in the face will likely seem like a complete surprise. The saving grace here is that Neptune in your sign (which would ordinarily compound the possibility of illusion taking hold) is involved in a Grand Trine with both Jupiter and Venus, who together are almost always about luck. I don’t know how much you’ll gain here (or learn for that matter) other than simply managing to dodge a bullet that would have had anybody else’s name on it considering the circumstances.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #37 Weekly Horoscopes for 5/21-5/27, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 5/21-5/27, 2018

Hi kids!!! Here we are for another round of the inimitable Mr. Saturn’s Stars so, without further adieu, let’s roll up for the Magickal Mystery Tour, step right this way!!!

“Magick is letting

The Unknown transform what we

Think about ourselves”

Aries- The Sun in your House of Communications aligning with Mars in your House of Dreams will have you wanting to share your opinions with everyone in the world, just don’t be surprised if it also turns out that you have to listen to a bunch of shit you’d rather not hear as a response; such is the price for free speech. Uranus entering your House of Self Worth will have you wanting to do things your way, although Saturn in your House of Career will also feel a need to remind you there are protocols to follow, which Venus passing through Cancer will help you with, if only because right now everything you’re hoping to gain is unfortunately contingent on obtaining someone else’s approval. By the time the Moon enters your House of Partnerships to square Saturn and then Pluto, you will have calmed down sufficiently enough so that the grinding of your teeth in frustration over various delays will only be audible inside your own head and not to the people you need to have sign your check.

Taurus- Mars passing through your House of Public Image will have others expecting an awful lot from you, while Uranus entering your Sign will also have you worrying that if you can’t deliver on these demands that it will mean you are a bad person. Let Saturn in your House of Philosophy help you to remain confident and professional as it aligns first with a practical Virgo Moon and then with a serious Scorpio Moon to close the week. Meanwhile, Mercury transiting through your sign and aligning with both Jupiter in your House of Partnerships and Neptune in your House of Groups should also be of service in helping you to find the proper compromise between being able to serve others while also respecting yourself. As the week ends with Venus in opposition to Saturn you will likely be feeling both a sense of accomplishment at what you were able to get done as well as a sense of pride at being able to stand up for yourself.

Gemini- With the Sun entering your sign this week and aligning with Mars in your House of Travel and Philosophy your imagination will likely be running wild, just make sure that Uranus behind the scenes doesn’t have you dwelling on how certain things might have been different if you had made other choices in the past. Mercury is also passing behind the scenes now and as he aligns with both Jupiter and Neptune you could find a very unusual (and perhaps humorous) solution for something that has been a problem at work. Saturn in your House of Transformation opposing Venus in your House of Self Worth could have you thinking about whatever may be missing in your life, and since Venus is transiting the sign of Cancer it would be no surprise if the possibility of having children might seem more real now than it ever has before. Just make sure your partner feels the same before you get too carried away.

Cancer- At the beginning of the week Uranus in your House of Dreams will be squaring Mars in your House of Transformation, which could have you feeling quite anxious to see your circumstances at work change or, at the very least, operate much differently than they have as of late. Jupiter in your House of Creativity is opposing Mercury in Taurus and that likely has you totally focused on the way things are instead of the way they could be if you allowed yourself to think outside of the box. Let Neptune in your House of Philosophy provide you with a little inspiration; perhaps a short trip (or a long one) might be in order to clear your mind and your frazzled nerves. Even a short stay in some different circumstances should help unleash the power of that inventive Gemini Sun as it passes through your House of Confinement and shines a light to show you some possible ways out of the darkness.

Leo- How far can you push a Lion before it roars or before it actually bites your damn head off? With Uranus in your House of Public Image squaring Mars in your House of Relationships, the line in the sand regarding how much you will put up with from someone will be tested this week, so be prepared. How angry you get will most likely be in direct correlation to how much you are willing to put up with, so make sure to set clear boundaries with someone that you know will likely cross them. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Home aligning with Neptune in your House of Transformation could mean that the potential transgressor we’ve been talking about could be a family member, so make a serious vow to yourself to speak softly and carry a big stick; and don’t be afraid to use it if necessary! A hard lesson may be the only lesson this person can really understand.

Virgo- This week should offer you an object lesson in how real learning can’t be planned but rather occurs because we think something else is happening. Uranus in your House of Long Distance Affairs could be a hint that a surprise is coming your way via a foreign culture or even just a radically different way of thinking, while Mars in your House of Work and Routines will likely indicate that this unexpected occurence could turn out to be quite disruptive to your normal way of doing things. The savior here will probably be Saturn in your House of Creativity as it helps you to realize the holes in your usual philosophy so that you can prevent being exploited again in the future. No matter what happens though it is important that you express your displeasure in the moment rather than pretend it’s no big deal and then lose your shit later on. Support for expressing yourself honestly should come from Jupiter retrograde in opposition to Mercury as it helps you to realize (and hopefully break) a pattern of accommodation that has never really served you.

Libra- The Playwright Sam Shepard once said, “When you hit a wall- of your own imagined limitations- just kick it in.” With Mars passing through your House of Creativity and squaring Uranus in your House of Transformation, just be careful that this wall we’re talking about doesn’t unexpectedly fall on your head first. Both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Foundations are most likely mandating this inner restructuring, meaning the operative thing to keep in mind here is to stay loose and keep your toothbrush packed so you can jump on that reality train the second it pulls out.  Venus in your House of Career opposing Saturn would further indicate that any changes coming about now will probably have beneficial long term effects on both your personal life and public image, just realize that all of this will be on a need to know basis so try not to get either too tragic or too optimistic about any of it because in either case you just don’t know! And you won’t until you turn on a light one day and life unexpectedly yells from a once dark room you thought was empty, “SURPRISE!!!”

Scorpio- There could be some real fireworks this week as volatile Uranus in your House of Relationships squares aggressive Mars in your House of Family and you recoil in horror at the rude and condescending opinions some of your supposed loved ones actually have toward you. Saturn in your House of Communications will demand an aggressive, although measured response to this nonsense, meaning let these people know you’re pissed, but do it in such a way that they don’t have a chance to hide behind the diversionary excitement of a shouting match. Jupiter retrograde in your sign aligning with Neptune would speak to the need for compassion in your expression, however, when we are under attack it is important to be compassionate with ourselves first, for it allows us not to stoop to our attackers level by reacting as though their ignorant insults are true. So kill them with good manners, just make sure you kill them (not really….hahaha).

Sagittarius- The time has come. This week when the shit hits the fan at work you will definitely get some on you. In the past you have been stealth enough to avoid any splattering fecal matter, however, this time it’s going to be like Pearl Harbor and you will have to do something. So what will it be? Saturn in your House of Self Worth will be about acknowledging what’s right and what’s wrong and not equivocating between the two as a strategy to avoid involvement. Jupiter retrograde behind the scenes will be egging you on by reminding you how you never used to be such a wuss, so how come you’ve turned into such a big one now? And last but not least, Mercury aligning with Pluto will be about confronting the truth, both within yourself as well as in regards to what’s happening in real time around you. The ship is sinking, either man the lifeboats and get out, grab a bucket and start bailing, or mutiny if the Captain has proven to be batshit crazy……..MISTER CHRISTIAN!!!

Capricorn- You are a serious sign that is about long-term achievement, hence you can put up with a lot of crap and struggle for years to succeed. However, with Mars now in your House of Self Worth squaring Uranus in your House of Creativity, you may have finally reached the end of your patience and feel the time has come to set the whole shit house on fire (euphemistically speaking) if you can’t have what you need. You’re usually pretty reasonable, but it’s going to be tough to convince you to continue sitting back as Jupiter in no nonsense Scorpio opposes Mercury in stubborn and focused Taurus. As the Sun passes into the resourceful air sign of Gemini and your House of Work, cast a few lines out into the world and see if there are some new and/or developing situations that could use a person of your caliber and commitment. Mr. Saturn isn’t advocating setting that fire mentioned previously, although there is nothing wrong with checking out how the prevailing winds are blowing, just in case.

Aquarius- With Mars in your sign you’re convinced you know what you want and how to get it, although with the planet of action squaring Uranus in your House of Foundations you should well consider the proverb, “be careful what you wish for,” as the results of your inspired efforts may not be at all what you expected. Saturn behind the scenes with Pluto would represent the material fear that’s driving your desire to transform your circumstances, while Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career aligning with Neptune would speak to the emotional security that would come from eliminating your material needs. Ultimately it’s important that you realize neither of these pathologies represents a recipe for anything other than furthering your control issues. To truly liberate yourself, follow the lead of the Sun in Gemini and your House of Creativity and try to be flexible enough to bend in the winds of change like a bamboo, rather than attempting to resist and snapping like a new sappling.

Pisces- As Uranus in your House of Communication squares Mars in erratic Aquarius behind the scenes, try to keep your cool if any difficulties arise in regards to exiting a situation that is no longer tenable for you. Saturn in your House of Groups and Dreams represents the protocols necessary for both getting and giving up something at this point in time, so try to follow the natural order to the best of your ability and don’t cut corners. Any avoidance of responsibility at this time could bring on some unforeseen hassles in the near future that you will end up feeling very stupid about when a just a little due diligence could have avoided the whole mess. With the Sun sweeping through your House of Symbolic Foundations change is certainly in the wind, just make sure you tie the riggings and batten down the hatches so you can sail into your next port of call flying the flag of a successful Man of War and not stinking up the joint like a dilapidated old fishing boat.

Special Uranus Entering Taurus Edition

My soul is from elsewhere, I’m sure of that, and I intend to end up there.”

-Rumi

Hi kids!!! Are you ready for something completely unexpected? Well buckle your seat belts because Uranus is changing his Astrological base of operations this week for the first time in approximately 8 years! Let’s take a look at what that might mean for each of the 12 Zodiac Signs for the rest of the coming year.

An Overview of Uranus in Taurus

It takes approximately 84 years for Uranus to travel around the entire Zodiac, meaning that it will spend roughly 7 years transiting through each sign. The last time that Uranus was in the sign of Taurus was during the period between June 7, 1934 and May 15, 1942, at which time the world witnessed the rise of fascism in Europe that eventually lead to the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939.

In looking back, the volatility of the events that occurred during the last time Uranus was in Taurus makes perfect sense when one considers that Taurus is a Fixed Earth sign usually associated with the status quo, while Uranus is a planet whose archetypal symbolism is commonly linked to resistance, rebellion, revolution, and the unexpected. In other words, Uranus entering Taurus would be a perfect example of an irresistible force meeting an immovable object. With this in mind, it can only make one shudder to contemplate the current World situation with such a volatile planet returning once again to such a complacent sign. For example, there are the ongoing tensions between Syria, Iran, and Israel in the Middle East, the chest thumping between North Korea and the U.S. involving the former country’s Nuclear Weapons Program, as well as the impending Constitutional Crisis facing us here in the U.S. as our current President and his associates face the possibility of criminal charges. And if all of that weren’t enough, there is also the situation here at home where the policies of our government seem to be driven by the exact same sort of dark xenophobia, racism, sexism, and fascism, that existed in Nazi Germany during the 1930’s when Uranus was last in Taurus.  If we like to think of ourselves as the leading country of the world, exactly where will be leading the rest of the globe once Uranus starts to work its inevitable Chaos Magick on us all?

Uranus as an Archetype

Because Uranus predominantly represents that which is unexpected and ultimately uncontrollable, it is often hard to determine exactly how the affects of this volatile planet will be felt.

In my experience Uranus usually provides whatever is necessary to shock us out of our complacency. For instance, if you’re naturally an adventurous person Uranus may bring about disastrous results to your usual carefree actions as a way of teaching you to be more responsible (if that seems contradictory then welcome to the world of Uranus). On the other hand, if you’re an overly cautious person then Uranus may instead throw a wrench in the works that will force you to improvise in the face of unforeseen circumstances.

As an archetype Uranus represents the opposite of the control and organization usually associated with Saturn. It is therefore interesting to note that as Uranus enters the sign of Taurus it will be approaching a positive alignment with Saturn, which is currently retrograde in the sign of Capricorn. This alignment will find both of these planets in stable Earth Signs (Taurus and Capricorn) and though their aspect to one another will not be exact at this time, they will come within 1 degree of each other as Saturn approaches its station/direct period and Uranus approaches a station/retrograde. It is my opinion that during this coming summer all of us to some degree or other will see our comfort zones forcibly expanded and, as a result, both our anxiety and creativity levels will probably end up rising simultaneously. Effectively this represents the cauldron of evolution at its spiciest, so get ready for your reality to be served up piping hot, whether you like it or not.

How Will Uranus in Taurus Affect Each Sign in 2018?

During 2018 Uranus will be in the sign of Taurus from May 15 to November 6 before it passes back into the Sign of Aries, where it will remain until March 6 of 2019. Even though it is just a few days short of 6 months, the initial transit of Uranus into Taurus in 2018 will nevertheless be a valuable harbinger of what we can look forward to as the planet of the unexpected continues its engagement with us over the next 8 years.

Aries- The entrance of Uranus into your House of Self Worth will signal the start of an inner revolution that could either lead you forward to maturity and success, or back into the rebellious follies of youth where your insecurities get dressed up as a disdain for things you only pretend not to care about. A lot of how this will play out will no doubt have to do with Saturn’s position in your House of Career and Public Image, which will likely present you with both the lessons and punishments of authority. How you negotiate this whole process will depend to a great extent on whether you’re looking at it from the position of an adult or a smart-ass kid: either way it’s up to you. Money could also come quite unexpectedly at this time, just make sure that you invest a decent amount of whatever windfalls may arrive rather than just spending it all like a drunken sailor.

Taurus- Not only will Uranus enter your sign this week but there will also be a New Moon in Taurus as well, meaning that if anybody is talking about you they’re also “Talkin’ about a Revolution” (although more along the lines of a revolution in style rather than Concord Green or The Bastille).  At first this revolution stuff might feel awkward because you really are a peaceful soul who just wants everyone to feel safe and comfortable, however, with Uranus acting like a red flag that’s meant to turn the motherly cow in you into a raging bull ready to charge ahead, you might end up scaring not only yourself but others as well. Moving to a far off place could also be a distinct possibility, which very well might be healthy in the long run as long you don’t totally abandon all caution to the wind. In other words, don’t get too carried away by the crowd yelling , “Ole’’, only to find out that they weren’t rooting for the bull but the matador and you’re stuck….ouch!

Gemini- Uranus will be slipping behind the scenes in your chart when it enters into Taurus, which could turn out to be either an angel or a devil whispering in your ear depending on what your anxiety level is at that particular moment. Saturn will be in your House of Transformation at the same time, meaning a review of your control and/or boundary issues will likely be going on that could put you on a real emotional roller coaster as you struggle with how to play with the other children so that everyone has fun and not just you or them. Joint finances with a partner could also become an issue, with one or both of you possibly experiencing a change of income. Remember, it’s easy to think of a Uranian shock as threatening until you see what previously unknown super powers it brings out in you. Surprise!!!

Cancer- When Uranus moves into Taurus it will be entering your House of Groups and Friends, which could signal both sudden endings and beginnings as some familiar people unexpectedly leave your life and new ones arrive to take their place. Saturn will also be in your House of Partnerships at this time, so even though some of these departures may leave you feeling either sad or wronged, the truth is that in order to insure your long-term positive growth all of these people who disappeared had to go in order for more beneficial individuals to enter your life. The House in your chart where Uranus will be entering during its stint in Taurus is also sometimes referred to as the House of Dreams, so realize as well that if you’re willing to let go of what no longer works in your life you could inadvertently be setting the stage for some long held fantasies to finally come true. What may have seemed familiar and comfortable in the past might actually have turned into what is blocking some real luck from finding you now.

Leo- If you haven’t noticed the writing on the wall yet then Uranus entering your House of Career may just have to get your ass fired or have the company you work for go out of business so that you’ll be motivated to find a better situation. I know it’s a shock, but that’s how Uranus rolls and with Saturn backing him up from your House of Work you need to understand you were not long for this situation anyway. It may have once filled a need, but now Uranus is going to show you some brand new needs you didn’t even realize you had! This is called evolution and with growth comes growing pains, so get ready to deal with something you have previously avoided like it was a disease, namely responsibility. Maybe Uranus is ripping you from your comfortable womb so that you can be born into your true destiny? After all, if you’ve failed at settling for being unsuccessful then there’s nothing for you to lose, so pay the ticket and take the ride. You’re off to see the Wizard!

Virgo- Jelaluddin Rumi (the author of this weeks quote for Mr. Saturn #36) was a successful scholar until he met the wandering Dervish Shams of Tabriz, whereby he had his head and heart turned around and ended up becoming perhaps the World’s greatest Mystical Poet. I tell you this because when Uranus enters Taurus it will be moving into your House of Philosophy (and aligning with Saturn in your House of Creativity) where it will perhaps do for you what Shams did for Rumi. Of course there’s a flip side to this, while Rumi left what he thought were his responsibilities behind in order to follow his new love, he nevertheless found out quickly enough that the freedom Shams was offering required him to be even more responsible because now he was harmonizing with the whole Universe and not just his own little ego and the demands of others. In other words, Uranus will be opening up your world, are you ready for the experience and, no doubt, the extra work and responsibility?

Libra- From where do our thoughts originate? We each experience consciousness, but what is it? Certainly our intuition and inspiration are not just from the fleshy pulp inside our heads? Uranus will be entering your House of Death and Transformation this week, so expect that whatever you thought about life leading up to this moment will not be the same afterwards. The House of Transformation represents our individual link to the regenerative energy of the Universe, a power that is also at the root of money, sex, and creativity. Therefore, have the courage to embrace whatever you feel you need to do. As long as you are honest and honor the process you have embarked upon, you and yours will manage to get whatever you need, you just won’t know how or when until you do. This could be quite harrowing, but there you have it. Uranus is a Cosmic Joker for sure, but for this part of your life he’ll be laughing with you, not at you. If you manage not to be frightened of the unknown, you could be quite successful.

Scorpio- As Uranus enters your House of Partnerships and aligns with Saturn in your House of Communication, expect the way you usually deal with people to be entirely transformed. Because Uranus has an uncanny way of getting in our faces, at the start of this transit it may seem as though your normal boundaries are being assaulted. At first this may surprise you, but whatever your natural reaction may be, just let it happen and then make careful note of the results. One of the things you may discover is how much you inadvertently acquiesce to the will of others (this may be especially true with family members). Uranus’s M.O. is to put us in situations where we are forced to be ourselves because nothing else will work. Of course there is also the possibility that certain relationships may end during this period, maybe even some you thought were rock solid. If that’s turns out to be the case, perhaps what you mistook for solidity was really just the other person’s inflexible expectations about who you should be regardless of how you may feel about it. In short, get ready to meet some new friends (and lovers) who will like you for who you are and not for what you can do for them.

Sagittarius- Uranus will be entering your House of Work so get ready for some big changes on the job front. There are so many things wrong there right now that it’s hard to say which straw will be the one that breaks the camel’s back. Saturn is in your House of Self Worth, so at the risk of stating the obvious I would probably venture to say you’re most likely not getting paid anywhere near what you’re worth. This is more than a little bit your fault, mostly because you’re overqualified for where you are and all the underachievers who surround you know that all they have to do is play stupid and you’ll fix whatever it is. Accept that the time has come to be driven from your comfort zone in the same way that babies have to be born, simply because there is no longer any space left for growth. Uranus is in good aspect to Saturn now, so make sure you are paying special attention to all the insights that are starting to flit through your head like butterflies. Once upon a time they were caterpillars just like you.

Capricorn- Sometimes creating something can be a leisurely affair, but more often than not our creativity ends up being stimulated by unexpected circumstances whose primary purpose is to move us along on our evolutionary path. With Uranus transiting through your House of Creativity you will likely be bombarded by, discover, and even at times trip over more ideas and insights than you can likely imagine at this point, which just means life will probably be more hectic and stimulating than you probably think you can handle. Well don’t you believe it! We only use a fraction of our consciousness in our daily life and if we can increase that by merely another fraction we’d be entering into the realm of Saints and Geniuses. Are you ready to be part of that select group? Are you ready for something completely different? As the Monty Python Boys used to say, “No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!!!” No one expects their enlightenment either until one day they realize that it’s been inside them all along.

Aquarius- As Uranus enters into the lowest area of your chart, (otherwise known as the House of Symbolic Foundations) get ready for your world to start spinning around like a pack of first graders playing musical chairs after being fed too much sugar. There’ll be pushing and giggling, maybe one of them will even stumble, and then it will all be fun and games until someone pokes out an eye. Of course if there’s a responsible teacher present it doesn’t have to play out that way, which is precisely the role Mr. Saturn will play as he observes through the door like the Principal passing by out in the hallway. I have used this grade school metaphor because the unexpected qualities associated with Uranus can make us all feel like children trapped in a mysterious and frightening world where no one knows what will happen next. Keep in mind though that Uranus is the ruler of your sign, so if there’s anyone who can roll with the unexpected it’s you Aquarian folk, especially since you inflict the rest of us with your natural Uranian presences as often as you can get away with it. Still, don’t be surprised by anything that may happen now, up to and including a cross country move, a complete career change, or even an unexpected divorce or marriage as Uranus stampedes through your life like a herd of cattle.

Pisces- We are all limited by what we think until something happens that requires us to use a new part of our brain. Some people would call this process living a creative or even a mystical life, while others might diagnose such a frame of mind as being delusional or even insane. Depending on what you believe, here comes Uranus entering into your House of Thinking and Ideas where you’re about to experience first hand what Alice felt as she tumbled down the rabbit hole. Up will be down and left will be right and things you’ve never seen before will suddenly seem eerily familiar as your true self emerges out of a mundane world of limited opinions and into a Universe of true knowledge and experience. During this time Saturn will be passing through your House of Groups and Friends, so as this strange trip continues you will discover the usefulness of your uniqueness and the practicality of your mistakes. And of course, things will just keep getting curiouser and curiouser.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #35 Weekly Horoscopes for 5/7-5/13, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 5/7-5/13, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome once again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

Martha: Truth or illusion, George; you don’t know the difference.

George: No, but we must carry on as though we did.

Martha: Amen.

-Edward Albee “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf “

Aries- Don’t take anything for granted this week when it comes to communications. Venus will be passing through that area for you and she’ll be in a hard angle to Neptune behind the scenes, meaning that misunderstandings, misstatements, tall tales, and even out right f*cking lies will all be par for the course. Mercury squaring Pluto to start the week should be of some help amidst all the mendacity, especially as these two tend to come out swinging for the truth whenever they get a chance. Make sure you keep your nose clean so that all the right people end up getting hit and you’re not one of them. By weeks end Mars will be pulling into a square with Uranus, which could see you stressing about everything that’s happened over the last few days, especially if you didn’t do anything about it or took it too seriously. Jupiter closing in on Neptune should help you to calm down if you’re willing to get away by yourself and put things back into perspective. Repeat after me, “Aum.”

Taurus- You’re feeling Uber responsible now as the Sun in your sign is aligning with both Pluto and Mars in Capricorn as they transit your House of Philosophy. Neptune in your House of Dreams is also in alignment with those Capricorn Planets and whenever Mr. Fog is involved it is always important to make sure that your hopes are copasetic with what is actually happening. Venus is in your House of Earnings and that’s generally a good thing, however, because the planet of money is also squaring Neptune make sure that whatever you’ve spent in regards to a group project will be coming back to you, especially if you’ve been investing time and emotion as well as your money. Mars approaching a square to Uranus at the end of the week could be making you anxious about an upcoming trip, don’t let anyone make you feel silly for taking some extra precautions to make sure you’ll have everything you need, better safe than sorry.

Gemini- With Venus in your sign charm is most definitely on your side this month and you’re feeling quite cooperative, just don’t let anyone get the idea that you’re a pushover. Mercury squaring Pluto could serve to expose some shady dealings involving a group or project that you’re involved in, so make sure your hands are clean because your reputation could suffer through guilt by association. If you have been overlooked at work you’ll likely find yourself coming up with an idea or two now that could gain you some long overdue recognition and maybe even some extra do-re-mi as well before things are done. Jupiter retrograde may be bringing up some old issues and you could find yourself revisiting some basic power struggles either at work or in a relationship. If you’re not that person anymore then make sure you don’t screw yourself by making the same old choices that brought you down before.

Cancer- Venus behind the scenes squaring Neptune in your House of Philosophy might have you expecting the worst of people, especially if you’re going to be dealing with individuals who have been a pain in the ass before. A word to the wise, don’t let these people determine the rules of engagement. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Creativity opposing the Sun in your House of Groups will help you process any difficult lessons from the past so that you can transform them into a winning strategy for the future. Mars and Pluto in your House of Partnerships are in a testy square with Mercury in Aries and your House of Career, meaning don’t be shy, ask for what you deserve and you shall receive it, especially if you’ll be facing off with an old adversary who’ll probably end up shooting themselves in the foot because they’ll make the mistake of seriously underestimating the new you.

Leo- Be careful what you wish for as Neptune transits your House of Transformation and squares Venus in your House of Dreams. Ambition will be high as the Sun moves through your House of Career and opposes Jupiter retrograde at the foundation of your chart, which could make you gullible and open to being manipulated either by flattery or false promises. Saturn, Pluto, and Mars together in your House of Work add a very necessary grounding now as they stress hard work and responsibility as the way to success rather than relying too heavily on the smoke and mirrors of any sort of get rich quick sorcery. This is especially true as Mercury and Uranus in Aries move into squares to a pair of those planets I just mentioned in your House of Work, namely Pluto and Mars respectively. The message you should take away from all this is think innovatively but act conservatively, at least for the time being and you won’t be sorry.

Virgo- Be careful of a partner’s advice; they don’t necessarily want you to fail, but success on your terms would change the dynamic of the relationship and threaten their sense of control. You will also need to re-examine your own comfort zone if you feel that you can’t move forward creatively or professionally without their approval. Mercury in your House of Transformation angling against Pluto in your House of Creativity will bring this power struggle out as the week begins, followed by Neptune in your House of Partnerships squaring Venus in your House of Career forcing you to each re-consider what would be lost or gained if the relationship started to operate with a different philosophical approach. Mercury squaring Uranus to end the week could have you looking across a battlefield at each other, but for the time being if you can manage to agree to disagree things will eventually transform for the better.

Libra- As Venus in your House of Philosophy squares Neptune in your House of Daily Routines, this could be the time when you finally recognize how you can be your own worst enemy. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Self Worth opposing the Sun in your House of Transformation will be a tremendous help with this, as each of them in turn will align with Pluto retrograde at the Foundation of your chart, all of this together signaling an inevitable realignment of not only what you see when you look in the mirror, but also what you think others see when you allow them to be that mirror. Both Mercury and Uranus in your House of Relationships will also be entering into squares with Pluto and Mars respectively in your House of Symbolic Foundations, meaning that the time has come for you to recognize just how much of your intended iconoclasm is really just a hidden fear of failure that assumes you can only get to the top by giving someone or something the power of approval over you; ironic, huh?

Scorpio- For weeks now my Scorpion friend I have been hinting that a romance awaits you due to the fact that Neptune has been lingering seductively for some time now in your House of Romance. Well, now I’m going to suggest that for the time being you should try to be careful in your involvements. Why? Because Venus is now transiting through your House of Sex and she is in harsh angle to Neptune, meaning that there is a distinct possibility that simple sexual attraction could be mistaken for love, especially since a Taurus Sun now passing through your House of Relationships is thinking “commitment” while the other person seducing you could be thinking simply, “hit and run. “ Mercury squaring Pluto at the beginning of the week and Mars squaring Uranus at the end of the week could both speak to subterfuge, dishonesty, and a resulting surprise that could be more volatile than satisfying. As a result, be careful and make sure that’s whatever is being offered in the way of romance is something that will truly thrill your heart and not just somewhere else situated a little lower.

Sagittarius- Take any promises that are made to you now with a grain of salt, particularly if what is being offered insinuates there may be strings attached and no clear parameters have been set as to what is expected. Venus in your House of Relationships will have you feeling very cooperative, but the fact that she’s squaring Neptune brings in a strong likelihood of illusion and secrecy in any one on one interactions this week (particularly if they occur behind the scenes, as Jupiter, the planet of excess is there). Mercury squaring Pluto at the beginning of the week and Mars squaring Uranus at the week’s end together speak to clandestine agendas and volatile reactions when someone realizes they’ve been had; try to make sure that someone isn’t you. The Sun in your House of Work aligning with Pluto in your House of Self Worth could see you benefitting from letting go of something; perhaps it should be your need to be all things to all people.

Capricorn- Misunderstandings or miscommunications at work could stem from either you having unreasonable expectations about the timetable for something that needs to be done, or else someone has purposely been misleading you about exactly how much needs to be done. No matter what the case, make sure you don’t try to rush through something just because you’d rather not be doing it in the first place. Mercury squaring Pluto to start the week should make you feel like you want to get to the bottom of exactly what’s going on, while Mars squaring Uranus at the end of the week could represent an unwelcome surprise that you simply aren’t prepared for. The Sun in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune in the House of Ideas could help you to think outside the box, so make sure you take it slow and pay attention, but most importantly, don’t take anything for granted.

Aquarius- You are feeling an almost desperate need to expand at this time as a result of being convinced that you have exhausted all the possibilities in your current situation. However, with the Sun transiting through your House of Foundations and aligning nicely with Neptune in your House of Self Worth, it will be your ability to mutate rather than a compulsion to burn bridges that will hold the answers you need right now. In other words, a willingness to try a new way of doing something familiar may prove to be more valuable than giving up on what you have to search out something completely new. Mercury in your House of Ideas squaring Pluto behind the scenes is about innovation and approaching something differently than you have in the past, while Mars squaring Uranus later in the week will be about letting the situation guide you rather than trying to control everything that may happen. It’s important for you to realize right now that it’s about tweeking what you have, not charging out to discover something that may not exist just yet.

Pisces- The frustration you are experiencing right now is along the lines of “irresistible force meets immovable object.” The actual manifestation of this dynamic will come into play early in the week when Mercury in your House of Self Worth squares Pluto in your House of Dreams and you are forced to see precisely what is in your way despite what you may have been feeling to the contrary. Later in the week will be when the frustration regarding your situation will really hit, as Mars in your House of Dreams squares Uranus in your House of Self Worth. You will undoubtedly be angry so make sure you find a way to channel your angst so that you don’t end up shooting yourself in the foot or burning a bridge you can’t reconstruct. The good news is that the Sun moving through your House of Ideas is aligning nicely with Neptune in your sign, meaning that if you can calm down then your natural intuition and creativity should come up with something innovative that will allow to live to fight another day.

Weekly Horoscopes for 4/30-5/6, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“There is only one plot- things are not what they seem.”

-Jim Thompson

“A raven’s call from

A nearby tree lingers like

A premonition”

-The Exalted Man

Aries- What do you want to believe? Venus in your House of Mental Activity in a harsh angle to Neptune behind the scenes will have you coming up with whatever you need to justify anything you want, however, Mercury in your sign moving into a square with Pluto might foil your best constructed fantasies by acting like a whistleblower who knows where all the bodies are buried. A Taurus Sun also aligning with Neptune would further suggest it is easier to create a solution for just about anything if you’re honest with yourself rather than trying to concoct a series of fabrications to avoid what you fear. Venus inconjunct a retrograde Saturn will probably have the last word here and it will likely be something along the lines of; “When you ain’t got nothing, you got nothing to lose, you’re invisible now, you’ve got no secrets to conceal.” So what are you worrying about?

Taurus- The Sun in your sign coming into alignment with Neptune in your House of Dreams could see you willing to invest a great deal into a developing project, while Venus in your House of Self Worth will likely cause you to overlook what there may be to lose in this situation. With Mercury behind the scenes in a harsh aspect to Pluto in your House of Philosophy make sure that you pursue your due diligence in this matter and be certain that what you’ve been told is the real deal. Mars in your House of Long Distance matters approaching a square to Uranus will be yelling “surprise” when you least expect it, hopefully it won’t involve having to rethink (or, God forbid re-do) anything you thought was already done and delivered, or even worse, bought and paid for.

Gemini- You have some great ideas now but be careful about what you’re willing to compromise to make them come true. Mercury in the sign of Aries and your House of Dreams will give you all the success you’d want, although because the Messenger Planet is also moving into a square with Pluto in your House of Transformation be sure that your soul hasn’t been surreptitiously added to the purchase price of your time and effort. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Work is also aligning with Pluto and this should guarantee rewards for your efforts, just make sure those rewards are an accurate reflection of how much you think you’re worth and not simply what someone else is willing to pay. Don’t be someone else’s deal of the century just because you’re more worried about being nice.

Cancer- The danger now with Neptune in your House of Philosophy squaring Venus behind the scenes is that you will doubt yourself unnecessarily in regards to your ability to weather adversity, whether it be a simple case of not getting what you want when you want it, or having to work through a situation involving some very intractable and recalcitrant people. A good rule of thumb to follow would be let folks say what they say, but know what you know. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Creativity is still aligning with Pluto as well as getting closer to Neptune everyday, meaning that it is important to realize that no matter what the circumstances, patience must always begin by first being patient with yourself. That way your destiny will always be more than your fear if you’re willing to look your fear in the eye.

Leo- With Venus in your House of Dreams clashing with Neptune in your House of Transformation, make sure that you’re not seeing someone for who they were rather than who they are now. For a fixed sign like yourself this could be a harsh realization, especially if this is a partnership that you’ve invested a lot of yourself in. I would like to be able to say that if you’re willing to be honest about what’s really going on they will too, but that isn’t the case. Their denial and inflexibility may shock you. Just make sure that by feeling sorry for them you’re not inadvertently enabling their agenda. They may try to devalue the unhappiness you’re feeling at their behavior by justifying their manipulations and dishonesty as necessary, but don’t let this self-absorbed whiner off the hook. See if they love you enough to admit what they’re doing and change.

Virgo- It’s time to examine the significant relationships in your life, both personal and professional. With Venus traveling through your House of Career in hard angle to Neptune in your House of Partnerships, be careful of trying to be all things to all people. Likewise, don’t be so willing to reveal your personal business to any inquisitive new acquaintances. The Sun in your House of Philosophy is also interacting with Neptune, as well as slowly moving into an alignment with Jupiter in your House of Communications, meaning that honest and open dialogue with any significant others will be critical at this time, especially if you need to speak up and tell a partner they are pushing you too hard or else have crossed a line. Let Saturn in your House of Creativity and Mercury in your House of Transformation help you to find the cojonesif someone you work with is ego tripping a little too much and needs to get a piece of your mind.

Libra- There are three major planets in the sign of Capricorn right now and they are all transiting across the bottom of your chart in what would be your House of Home and Foundations. Saturn represents the Natural Order, Mars is Action, and Pluto is Transformation, meaning it would be safe to say that you have reached a crossroads in your life where the landscape around you is spinning and all the cardinal points on the horizon have completely changed. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Self Worth is aligning with both Pluto and Mars, so you can bet any coming changes will be deep. At the same time the Sun in your House of Transformation along with Mercury moving into a square with Pluto should help to illuminate whatever depths you have been exploring for that elusive Grail of satisfaction and success.

Scorpio- Whether you want it or not, a leadership role could be thrust upon you now and your ability to deliver what’s necessary will end up affecting a lot more than you currently realize. Jupiter retrograde in your sign aligning with both Mars and Pluto in your House of Communications would indicate that your reticence to accept this responsibility is precisely what qualifies you to have it, meaning this can’t be about ego, it has to be about being respected, which you are! As Venus squares Neptune you may initially feel at a loss as to how you should handle this, but as a stable Taurus Sun aligns with Neptune you will come up with an idea or two that may amaze not only you, but others as well. As Mercury ends the week squaring Pluto some interesting secrets could be revealed, not the least of which will be that you are the leader this situation always needed.

Sagittarius-William S. Burroughs wrote in his novel, “Naked Lunch,” “Nothing is true; everything is permitted.” With this in mind, you should be aware that whatever you may want (or not) right now should be based on your beliefs and not on whatever the supposed rules may state. In other words, you can leave a bad situation and choose something better, tell a family member “no”, or improve your self in any way you see fit, simply because there is nothing that say’s you can’t if you’re willing to bear the responsibility. Mercury in the sign of Aries and your House of Creativity is chomping at the bit to get going on this, but Saturn in your House of Self Worth is saying, “Wait a minute, not so fast.” Now Saturn could be reminding you of your duties, but what if he’s really just answering an arbitrary “because” to your sincere “Why?” Perhaps you should let Jupiter behind the scenes aligning with both Pluto and Neptune inspire you to respond with a resounding “Why not!” and go for it, whatever “it” may be.

Capricorn- With Saturn, Mars, and Pluto all in your sign the theme for you now is discipline, direction and organization. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Dreams has been working with these energies for a while and certain ambitions you have long held as nothing more than hopes or fantasies are now

visible on the horizon as viable realities. The Sun in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune in your House of Communication will further illuminate these possibilities, as you will likely be brimming with ideas (and perhaps even visions) this week. Mercury transiting your House of Foundations is pushing you to make room in your world for all the things you are now believing are possible, while in the meantime Saturn in your sign is saying, “Everything you want is certainly doable, just make sure you’re willing to walk the walk and not just talk the talk in order to make all this stuff happen.”

Aquarius- I know life is hard now but an unwillingness to fully acknowledge your circumstances could mean you’re not realizing the challenges in front of you aren’t meant to be insurmountable obstacles, but rather stimulants for evolution. Mercury in Aries is not making this any easier by squaring Saturn behind the scenes and turning what could have been some real creative torque into something that instead probably feels like a frustrating uphill battle. The saving grace here though could be Jupiter retrograde as he tries to reverse engineer with Pluto and Mars a new recipe for success in your House of Career and Public Image. The Sun moving through your House of Symbolic Foundations and aligning with Neptune in your House of Self Worth is a very good omen as well, likely symbolizing that a new you is on the horizon and soon it will be time to roll away the stone and resurrect into a new life.

Pisces- Right now it is necessary to acknowledge the instability in your life if you sincerely want to ever get past it, even if Venus in the sign of Gemini and your House of Foundations has you feeling that you can skirt any difficult issues and Mercury in your House of Self Worth is telling you to simply hit the highway and run. Try instead to hear Saturn, Mars, and Pluto in your House of Groups as they act like a revolutionary militia to try to get you to dig in and face the music by suggesting that if criticisms have been leveled at you then either meet them head on and refute them as untrue, or else learn from what you have done and improve the situation. Jupiter retrograde in the sign of Scorpio and your House of  Philosophy is also involved here as he works along with his buddies Saturn, Mars, and Pluto to instill within you the ethics of honor and responsibility. If you are willing to listen to the deep inner wisdom of these Spiritual Warriors then you will likely find the answers to the problems that are currently plaguing you.
