Mr. Saturn’s Stars #88 Weekly Horoscopes for 6/3-6/9, 2019

Weekly Horoscopes for 6/3-6/9, 2019

Aries-The week will start off with a New Moon in your House of Communication and Local Activities so expect things to be fast paced and more than a little hectic. At mid-week Mercury will change signs from busy Gemini to emotional Cancer and as the messenger planet aligns with volatile Uranus in your House of Self Worth don’t be surprised if certain people manage to get under your skin, particularly involving matters around the home. As Saturn and Pluto resume chugging through your House of Career you will no doubt continue to experience ups and downs on the job or with your clients. The upside is that Neptune behind the scenes will furnish you with that special “Spidey Sense” so no matter what appears to be going on you’ll know deep down that everything will be right in the end.

Taurus- The New Moon in your House of Self Worth will likely make you a Curious George this week, just make sure it doesn’t also make you more than a little naïve as well. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Long Distance Travels opposing Mars in your House of Home and the sentimental sign of Cancer could find you feeling homesick at this time, and with Mercury also entering Cancer mid-week to align with spontaneous Uranus, perhaps this would be a good time to plan a trip to visit the family or even take an impromptu stroll down memory lane. As Venus enters Gemini over the weekend you could be feeling more sociable than usual, and since charm will also be on your side you should probably get out there and mingle.

Gemini- The New Moon in your sign now represents a kind of symbolic rebirth and as it generally squares Neptune in your Public Image area perhaps this might be a good time to re-evaluate how you come off to the general public. Uranus behind the scenes could have you feeling a bit hemmed in, especially as Mercury pulls into your House of Self Worth to join Mars and you seem to find it impossible to compromise on anything that makes you even a little uncomfortable. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Transformation right now are all about responsibility and as they align with the aforementioned Neptune rest assured that your ability (or lack thereof) to regard the interests of others is going to be what makes or breaks whatever your ideas of manifest destiny happen to be right now. As the song say’s, “You got to give a little, take a little, let your poor heart break a little, that’s the glory of, That’s the story of Love.”

Cancer- With the Moon, Mars, and Mercury all in your sign this week you will undoubtedly be wearing your heart on your sleeve as you feel compelled to act on whatever happens to inspire you. Neptune in your House of Philosophy will have you feeling creative and spiritual while Uranus in your House of Dreams will have you feeling both individualistic and rebellious. If you’re already involved in the arts then you should look to move an important project forward and if you’re not, then perhaps you should follow any urges you may be feeling and start to dabble in a creative discipline you’ve always been curious about. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Partnerships have been changing the way you relate to the world, but that should also include how the world relates to you and what you should and shouldn’t be putting up with from people. Let Mars in your sign now give you the strength to come out of your shell and straighten out someone who needs to learn a little respect.

Leo- The Moon, Mars, and Mercury will all be behind the scenes for you this week in the ultra-sensitive sign of Cancer, meaning that the big tough Lion could end up being a real pussycat at this time. Neptune in your House of Intimacy could add to this vulnerability causing you to either shy away or suffer more than usual, especially as Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Routines shake things up both at work and at home. Jupiter in your House of Creativity and Romance could see you acting more needy than usual, particularly as the King of the Planets aligns with Neptune. The New Moon at the beginning of the week will be in your House of Dreams, and while this could be about branching out and discovering some new opportunities, it could also be about self-doubt and a sudden dip in confidence. If you can look at your sensitivity as strength instead of weakness you will likely gain a whole new perspective on what you bring to the table as opposed to what you think you need to worry about.

Virgo- The New Moon this week will be in your House of Career and Public Image so if you don’t like your lot in life then make the effort to get out there and start changing shit! After the New Moon the next Lunar stop will be in your House of Dreams, where both Mercury and Mars will be waiting to either inspire you or kick you in the ass, whichever is more appropriate (and necessary) to get you motivated and engaged. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Creativity will be of great use at this time if any of your usual standards and practices are proving themselves obsolete, provided of course that you’re willing to try something new. Uranus in your House of Philosophy represents a new revolutionary movement that is taking seed in you if you’re willing…….So the question is, are you? Excuse me? I can’t HEAR you!!!

Libra- The New Moon in your House of Philosophy to start the week could find you wondering about what else you could possibly do to turn a dream into a reality. If you’re initially at a loss for any novel strategies then simply follow the lead of both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Foundations as they ruthlessly abandon what doesn’t work and ferociously double down on what does. By mid-week Uranus in your House of Transformation will be receiving a nice jolt of inspiration from Mercury as the Messenger Planet enters your house of Career, meaning that if you think you have something the world might be interested in then keep running it up the flagpole until somebody eventually salutes (and they will). Keep in mind, the only difference between successful people and those who fail is that successful folks just don’t give up. That’s because if you don’t give up then technically you never lose. A word to the wise.

Scorpio- Just when you thought you’d seen it all here comes a New Moon in your House of Transformation…….WAKE UP……IT’S A NEW DAWN!!! Especially as Mercury joins Mars in your House of Philosophy and they both start to move into alignment with Neptune in your House of Creativity. If you thought you’d reach the end of your recent travails think again. A new part of you has been awakened and that newly evolved self has sent fear heading for the hills and managed to romance hope into believing you’ll actually be okay after all. It’s not easy to turn from a pessimist into an optimist, but once you do there’s no going back, there is only an endless road of possibilities and dreams ahead. Jupiter is retrograde now in your House of Self Worth but once he starts moving forward again in August you’ll understand exactly what I’m talking about. In the meantime, “Just whistle a happy tune whenever you feel afraid.”

Sagittarius- With this week’s New Moon occurring in your House of Relationships don’t be surprised if fortune unexpectedly taps you on the shoulder and smiles. After all, Mars has been in your House of Transformation stirring the pot for a while, so when Mercury joins the Planet of Action and aligns with Uranus in your House of Work those investments of time and effort you’ve been making all along will make you realize just how smart you were (even if no one else back then thought so). Saturn and Pluto have been pushing you to the brink, but rather than falling off you’ve seen for yourself there is a whole new world past whatever cliff you thought was the end of everything.  Now that you’ve seen past the end are you any less afraid to move beyond this new beginning? Let’s see what you’ve learned.

Capricorn- With The Moon, Mars, and Mercury all in your House of Relationships this week and the sensitive sign of Cancer, it is important for you to make sure that you haven’t  been taking anyone in your life for granted as of late. Uranus in your House of Creativity and Venus in your House of Routines should provide the necessary inspiration if you need to create a special gift or plan a surprise for someone who may have a special day coming up that has slipped your mind. If, on the other hand, you’re cognizant of all the folks in your life then the next line of inquiry would be, are you taking care of yourself? Saturn and Pluto in your sign have been forcing you to pay attention to your shortcomings, but have you also taken the time to reward yourself when you’ve done well? At any rate, make an effort to treat someone to something special this week and all will be right with the world.

Aquarius- If you’ve been wracking your brain for a new idea, this week may see the light bulb go on over your head as the New Moon will be in your House of Creativity. Of course this inspiration could be the result of an unexpected challenge arising rather than any sort of miraculous inspiration, especially with Uranus at your foundation aligning with Mercury in your House of Routines. Nevertheless, you will be having a transformational experience so get ready to go with flow. How can I do that, you ask? Follow Neptune’s lead from your House of Self Worth as he offers his chameleon-like powers to the inherent need for change being driven by Saturn and Pluto behind the scenes. You’re part of a bigger overall change so don’t think your world is ending if things get tight. The next Full Moon will be in your House of Dreams so if you can hold on for a couple more weeks you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel I’m talking about.

Pisces- As the New Moon happens in your House of Symbolic Foundations and the quixotic air sign of Gemini, be prepared to have some tricks played with your current reality. Who will do this is probably what you most want to know, although you shouldn’t really have to look any further than yourself to find the answer. You see, you’ve been living in a bubble as of late and your own latent creativity may just be what inadvertently ends up bursting it for you. In other words, it’s time to evolve, so as Saturn and Pluto retrograde align with Neptune in your sign, recognize that your own dissatisfaction with things as they are may be just what you need to make the Quantum Leap necessary for your Higher Self to take the reins and lead you into the world of grownups. Welcome to your real life.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #87 Weekly Horoscopes for 5/27-6/2, 2019

Weekly Horoscopes for 5/27-6/2, 2019

Aries- To start the week the Moon and Neptune will be conjunct behind the scenes in your chart, perhaps making you feel a lot more vulnerable than usual. As Mercury moves into a square with Neptune later in the week, you may try to convince yourself that you can think your way out of your insecurities,  you know, mind over matter. The problem though is that with Mars transiting across the bottom of your chart in the sensitive sign of Cancer and aligning with Uranus in your House of Self Worth, if you try to deny what you’re really feeling you stand more of a chance of acting out of fear rather than awareness. Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Public Image would further suggest you confront yourself in the mirror rather than remaining in denial, after all, if you can accept what you see in yourself then it doesn’t really matter what anyone else thinks.

Taurus- As Venus transits through your sign and aligns with both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Philosophy you may be due for a conceptual make over, especially if you’re still operating as though you haven’t yet attained what you already are. This epiphany may come about unexpectedly, especially with Mars in your House of Communication and Uranus close to your Ascendant, meaning that someone you’ve already surpassed either in life or at work may try to treat you like you’re still a rookie. The hell with that! Don’t stand for it! Allow Mercury in your House of Self Worth and Jupiter in your House of Transformation to put that arrogant hater in their place. You’ve earned where you currently are so don’t hesitate to own the perks. You deserve it.

Gemini-If you’ve been trying to hide something as of late get ready for the charade to be exposed. Venus behind the scenes in your chart will be aligning with both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Transformation, meaning that the network of hustlers and double talkers you’ve come to depend on all stand to lose something at this time by supporting you, and since there is no honor among thieves, don’t be surprised if someone leaves you swinging in the wind to save their own sleazy ass. Mars in your House of Self Worth will make you want to come out swinging, especially with Uranus behind the scenes ramping up your anxiety levels to near mach proportions. However, with Neptune traveling through your House of Public Image you’ve been hiding behind a particular mask for so long now no one is prepared to believe that you’re not exactly what you’re being accused of; and can you blame them?

Cancer- Mars in your sign now will have you feeling your oats, especially as he aligns with Uranus in your House of Groups, making you want to step out into the spotlight and be you without any reservations. Usually you would feel a little self- conscious about doing this, but with Neptune in your House of Philosophy aligning with both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Partnerships, you know you deserve all the perks you can get; that is, provided you can manage to grow the stones to demand them. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Work opposing Mercury behind the scenes in the clever sign of Gemini should make you quite astute on the job at this time, especially if some arrogant buffoon thinks they’re going to con you, or anyone else about your accomplishments. Remember, helicopters can’t get jet planes.

Leo- As Uranus crosses your House of Public Image no one is going to get away with telling you what to do, especially as the planet of individuality aligns with Mars behind the scenes, making you prepared to roar at anyone who thinks you’re a pushover. Neptune in your House of Transformation is providing a malleable influence at this time, and as it aligns with both Saturn and Pluto in your House of Routines let yourself roll with punches and come up swinging. Mercury in your House of Groups opposing Jupiter retrograde in your House of Creativity should give you all the finesse you need to ju-jitsu any joker who thinks they’re going to steamroll you. If you’re feeling it, then let yourself do whatever you’re inspired to do.  This is the stuff  that success is made of.

Virgo- If you’ve been looking to expand, perhaps to a bigger residence or office, or even to a higher career position, then let Mercury in your House of Public Image make some suggestions on how to reach out and meet your audience as he opposes Jupiter in your House of Symbolic Foundations. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Creativity have been preparing you well, so as they both align with Neptune in your House of Partnerships realize that you have become a very attractive candidate for whatever it is you’ve set your sights on. Mars in your House of Groups will give you all the energy you need to be either a charmer or a heavy, particularly as he aligns with Uranus in your House of Disseminating Information to the Broadest Possible Audience. People love you for who you are, so if you can be that with a passion then you can lead whatever sort of revolution you want to.

Libra- If you’ve been working your ass off at something then this could be the time when you start to see some of the rewards you’ve been hoping for. Venus in your House of Transformation aligning with both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Foundations is about rewards based on past efforts, while Jupiter retrograde in your House of Communication opposing Mercury in your House of Publishing is about your accomplishments going on the record for all to see. Mars going through your House of Career and aligning with Uranus in your House of Transformation could further mean that this change we’re talking about could happen quite suddenly. I’d suggest you get ready, but what fun would it be if you didn’t get the chance to yell “HOLY SHIT,” because you were taken totally off guard? Hahaha.

Scorpio- With Venus going through your House of Relationships and aligning with both Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Communication, this could be a great time to catch up with old friends or even receive an unexpected “blast from the past” from a former lover (wink, wink). Uranus is also in your House of Relationships and as he aligns with Mars in your House of Philosophy a visitation or message from an old paramour doesn’t necessarily have to be romantic. If this person messed you over way back when, then this could be your chance to enjoy the sweet taste of revenge. You might have been a pushover then, but you’re a class act now so remember, the opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. Therefore, ignore whoever that anus is and let them suffocate in their own inertia.

Sagittarius- Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your House of Self Worth aligning with Venus in your House of Work would indicate that you’ve been bringing it on the job for a while now. Therefore, the question becomes, “When are you going to be adequately compensated for all this effort? Uranus in your House of Work would suggest that before you ask for a raise, first see what your value is in the marketplace, especially as the planet of individualism and uniqueness racks up with Mars, the planet of action, in your House of Transformation (and Other People’s Money). In other words if you don’t get the raise you want be willing to walk. On the other hand, you might just be surprised that your boss is willing to chase. Of course you won’t be able to find all this out unless you’re willing to try, right? “Buck, buck, buck, buck, buck……”

Capricorn- Let’s take a vacation from Saturn and Pluto retrograde in your sign and instead we’ll talk about the other planets. Venus is in your House of Creativity and Romance and as she aligns with Neptune in your House of Communication don’t hesitate to accept a social invitation, especially if it seems if there’s any possibility of amore in the air. Also, be willing to act upon any inspirational urges that come upon you now, no kidding. Particularly because those planets we’re not talking about are in alignment with Venus and Neptune, meaning that romance and Art at this time can be quite real opportunities at this time; Believe it! Uranus is also in your House of Creativity and Romance right now, and as he aligns with Mars in your House of Relationships there is truly no telling just how far an invitation or an inspiration could go. If you’re bold enough to try, you could be lucky enough to fly! Buckle up, you’re cleared for takeoff, over and out!!!

Aquarius- As Venus transits your House of Home and Foundations and aligns with both Saturn and Pluto retrograde behind the scenes, this could be a good time to involve yourself with some renovations, either at home or within yourself. If you know there’s something you need to be working on don’t wait until there’s an emergency before you do anything about it. Taking the initiative now could make all the difference between a gain and just breaking even. Don’t assume that a challenge is designed to undermine you, particularly as Uranus moves through your Home and Foundations area and aligns with Mars in your House of Routines and repairs. Sometimes problems arise so that we can discover exactly what we are made of. In your case this might actually be a pleasant surprise.

Pisces- If you heart has been inspired by someone, or if absence has made it grow fonder, don’t hesitate to give a gift that shows how much you care. Venus in your House of Communication lining up with both Saturn and Pluto in your House of Friends is all about recognizing exactly who is there for you, and then letting them know how much they are appreciated. Mars in your House of Creativity and Romance aligning with Uranus, which is also in your House of Communication, would further suggest that if you want to give a token of your appreciation to someone then it might actually be more valued if you make something yourself rather than just purchasing a gift. After all, nothing shows how much you care more than demonstrating to the object of your affection that they are worth both your time and effort.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #76 Weekly Horoscopes for 3/11-3/17, 2019

Weekly Horoscopes for 3/11-3/17, 2019

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

Here’s a new “Separated at Birth” pair; the whining crybabies, Bart O’Kavanaugh and R. Kelly………pobrecito…..everybody’s against them!

Aries- With the Sun and Mercury retrograde behind the scenes in the intuitive sign of Pisces and both of them squaring Jupiter in your House of Philosophy, you may be thinking to yourself, “why not?” in regards to a matter you might otherwise think is completely crazy. This is partly because Mars in your House of Self Worth and Venus in your House of Dreams are making you feel adventurous, while both Saturn and Pluto in your House of Career have made it so that you can afford to take a risk and not lose the farm. The only thing to watch out for here is unaspected Uranus entering your House of Self Worth. A famous Photographer once said, “Chance favors the prepared mind,” so before you charge like the Light Brigade into anything, just make sure you’ve done your homework.

Taurus- You are a stable sign so the entrance of aggressive Mars and crazy Uranus into your domain might initially startle you, like a gunshot or an unexpected tap on the shoulder. The good news though is that any surprises coming your way at this time will see both Saturn and Neptune aligning nicely with Mars from your Houses of Philosophy and Dreams respectively. What does this mean? In short, trust your  intuition and take your time, after all, it’s a lot less likely that you’ll overlook something if you’re paying attention to details. Jupiter in your House of Shared Resources squaring Mercury retrograde could make you more gullible than usual so be careful whom you trust. Venus in your House of Career should also be a motivator for you now, but only if your ambitions encompass a greater perspective than just your own personal success. Like Bernie Sanders say’s, “Not me. Us.”

Gemini- Both Mars and Uranus have slid behind the scenes in your chart so be careful whom you trust because a lot more may be at stake than you realize. The Sun, Mercury retrograde, and Neptune are all passing through your House of Public Image and as they square Jupiter in your House of Partnerships try not to fall into believing that you are somehow above it all. Those who smile to your face may very well end up having a very sharp knife ready when you turn around. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Transformation are about nothing if not compromise, so be willing to give up something to get something. Having a take no prisoners attitude may very well end up making you a hostage of your own ego.

Cancer- If the world starts to get really crazy what will you likely do? That will be a relevant question this week as both Mars and Uranus are in your House of Groups, which could represent anything from a riot to even more impatience than usual on your part when it comes to silliness and/or a lack of professionalism. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Relationships could see you making some significant changes in whom you take seriously or what you’re willing to put up with at all. Let Mars in your House of Dreams and Venus in your House of Transformation allow you to trust your creative vision, especially with the Sun, Neptune, and Mercury retrograde in your House of Philosophy. Maybe something you used to believe in but gave up on is really true after all? Think about it.

Leo- Has anyone ever called you stubborn? With Mars and Uranus in your House of Public Image and Venus in your House of Partnerships you may be more demanding of others than you realize. Add to this the Sun, Mercury retrograde, and Neptune in your House of Change confronting Jupiter and some folks might even go as far as to say that you’re oblivious to their needs to the point of being downright insensitive. Surprised? You won’t be for long as Saturn and Pluto detonate some timely upsets in your House of Routines so that if you have been ignoring others they won’t be returning the favor. Your saving grace here is that no matter how selfish you may have seemed you really didn’t mean to slight or insult anyone. With that in mind, make sure you make amends ASAP after you’ve been made aware. A word to the wise.

Virgo- What you hope your relationships would be and what they actually are may no longer be an illusion you can afford. Reality and fantasy may complement each other as balancing forces in a philosophical sense, but they cannot occupy the same actual space in time and have the situation remain peaceful. Jupiter at your Foundation straining the Sun, Neptune, and Mercury retrograde in your House of Partnerships will likely cause any associations that are not grounded in reality to fall apart like a log raft in a monsoon. At the same time Mars and Uranus in your House of Philosophy squaring Venus in your House of routines will likely challenge you to learn how to swim very quickly. The good news is that Saturn and Pluto in your House of Creativity aligning with Mars in your House of Philosophy will assist you in finding solutions, if in fact real solutions are what you’re truly after.

Libra- It was said in the film “Gladiator,” “when death smiles at a man all he can do is smile back.” As Mars and Uranus make their way across your House of Transformation and slowly come into alignment with Saturn and Pluto at your Symbolic Foundation, there may not be many smiles exchanged between what is dying in your life and what is being born, but things will certainly start to look a lot different from what you’re used to! Jupiter in your House of Communication squaring Mercury retrograde could bring you some unexpected blasts from the past, both pleasant and unpleasant, so it will be up to you to either set the record straight and resume where you left off or else burn a bridge that’s not worth repairing. Venus in your House of Creativity could help you to put your finger on the pulse of someone who is going through something you have experience with; remember the Greek Gods used to visit people disguised as unfortunates and rewarded those who were generous with their help and hospitality. If the shoe fits, wear it.

Scorpio- It is time for a realization. Are you aware of how much energy it takes to believe something that is true as opposed to believing something that isn’t true? Answer; the same amount of energy is used whether you believe the truth or an illusion. With that in mind, be careful what you’re convincing yourself of at this time. Jupiter in your House of Thinking is squaring Mercury retrograde in your House of Creativity, meaning that it’s high time you realize depression and optimism are both creative acts though the offspring of each are quite different. Saturn and Pluto at the bottom of your chart are death and resurrection, so if something has rocked your world recently try to understand that if the Phoenix (your totem animal) was never thrown into  the fire it wouldn’t have been able to rise from the ashes. “What does not kill you makes you stronger,” if you don’t believe me ask Mr. Nietzsche.

Sagittarius- With Jupiter in your sign and Mercury retrograde at your symbolic Foundation you need to realize that your hopes for the future are rooted in being able to understand (and let go) your past. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Self Worth have been setting the stage for this kind of inner work, but only if you’re willing to get knee deep in your own shit and clean up your illusions. Mars in your House of Health is probably making you feel more energetic than usual, which should help you break out of the gravity pull of any energy vampires you encounter. Make sure you have your silver bullets and garlic cloves handy if you have to spend any time with a difficult family member or recalcitrant co-worker. Venus in your House of Communication aligning with Mars should  help with speaking your truth, just make sure you’re clear (and comfortable) with whatever that is.

Capricorn- With Pluto and Saturn in your sign (symbolizing death and resurrection respectively) you’re emotionally kind of like a holograph now, except that you’re flesh and blood. Now if that doesn’t seem to make any sense, just consider the viewpoint that we are all essentially spiritual beings who are required to negotiate physical experiences, which in turn are designed to teach us that getting what we want is nothing more than a fleeting concept and ultimately doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Sorry for the paradoxes, but I’m just trying to bring you up to speed because with Jupiter behind the scenes squaring Mercury retrograde and the Sun in your House of Thought, the temptation now is for you to only believe that something exists if you can physically experience it. If that’s true then what is there to be said for all the effort you’re making to not have certain experiences? Hmmmm.

Aquarius- Venus in your sign could be spreading you too thin, especially if you’re overly concerned with appearances and/or what others think. You have some immediate challenges that need to be handled which are being complicated by Saturn and Pluto behind the scenes playing the guilt police and Neptune in your House of Self Worth representing the vanity bandits who are trying to distract you from your responsibilities. This inner conflict will continue to rage as long as you allow pompous Jupiter in your House of Groups and naïve Mercury in your House of Self Worth to dominate your mindset and put image before substance. Uranus entering your House of Foundations will likely ratchet everything up to an emergency level, so stop looking in the mirror and instead look to fix what needs to be fixed. The message right now is clearly, take care of business, so get down and do it!!!

Pisces- The Sun, Mercury retrograde, and Neptune are all in your sign and as they each generally square Jupiter in your House of Public Image you could be experiencing a real identity crisis now or, at the very least, a lack of confidence about what lies ahead for you. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Dreams has you thinking a bit differently about something you used to want, while Mars in your House of Thinking continues to plow ahead as though nothing has changed. At this point enter rebellious and unpredictable Uranus, which if you are conflicted at all about what you’re doing will muck matters up royally so that you could find yourself making stupid mistakes as though you just didn’t care, and well, you don’t. You’re changing so it would make perfect sense that what you want would change to. Be willing to acknowledge that and straighten things out accordingly.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #30 weekly Horoscopes for 4/2-4/8, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 4/2-4/8, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. I’m sorry about there being no horoscopes last week. I hope you didn’t have to go too far to find a substitute for the abuse you usually get here. At any rate I’m back, so if you’re ready for some snarky TLC let’s get going.

Aries- The Lunar Arc for you this week will begin in your House of Transformation and then continue through your Houses of Philosophy and Career, suggesting that this period could turn out to be a real psycho/spiritual turning point for you. The Regal and Lovely Benefics (Jupiter and Venus) are each aligning to support Pluto, Mars, and Saturn in your House of Public Image, meaning the terms “dress for success” and “you’re only as pretty as you feel” could be entirely interchangeable for you right now as you manage to light up wherever you are with that indefinable, yet irresistible something that makes people just want to throw money at it. A word to the wise, just make sure you don’t go head tripping as a result of this new charisma and inadvertently end up in someone’s  back pocket.

Taurus- With Venus transiting through your sign you are a very attractive tomato right now; just don’t allow the merchandise to be handled too much. Saturn in your House of Philosophy could represent the Sugar Daddy you dream about that would make your life easier, like a steady job with benefits and no prospects, while on the other hand Mars in the same House is the Back Door Man who would undoubtedly make your life more exciting, yet because of him you could end up “Like a Rolling Stone.” Hmmm, decisions, decisions! Jupiter Retrograde in Scorpio aligning with Pluto in Capricorn could add to this indecision by seeming like a shadow instead of a rainbow pointing to that pot of gold you’re always dreaming/worrying about, but that’s only because you need to learn that real wealth exists in the deep, dark recesses of your self rather than as a gift given to you by someone else.

Gemini- As Mars, Saturn, and Pluto all pass through your House of Death and Transformation, realize that the commitments you are contemplating now are not merely concepts but are rather the seeds that will grow to be harvested as your destiny. With that in mind, don’t be in a rush to get something moving when you’re still trying to figure out exactly where it’s headed or if you even want to go that way. Mercury Retrograde in your House of Dreams and Venus behind the scenes both represent the need to make sure you think through all your options before putting your name on the dotted line. In short, Mr. Saturn would advise, “measure twice and cut once,” unless of course you feel you have the time and materials to waste.

Cancer- Make sure you keep your rally cap on this week as Mercury Retrograde in Aries and your House of Career runs into a roadblock from the Malefics (Mars and Saturn) in your House of Partnerships. You may be doubting a course of action you have recently taken involving a matter at work, however, don’t automatically assume that because things are currently delayed that you have made a bad decision. Hope should come later in the week from Venus all decked out in her Taurus finery in your House of Dreams as she distracts those bullying Malefics from picking on poor Mercury and brings new meaning to the old saying, “it ain’t over until the fat lady sings,” although Lady Venus ain’t no fatty and she won’t be doing any singing, if you get my drift (ooh la la). Score one for the Femme Fatale.

Leo- Mercury Retrograde in your House of Philosophy is being cornered on a dead end street by a couple of thugs from your House of Daily Responsibilities in the form of Mars and Saturn (aka “The Malefics”). The question now for you my fine, furry friend is whether or not the threat being posed here is real or imagined. Is the message you are understanding from Mercury’s situation merely illustrating that you will never be anything more than a victim of circumstance in your life or will you instead take a risk and make those bullies fight for the right to oppress you? Just like the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz, perhaps some courage on your part now would reveal that these aren’t really bullies at all, but in fact teachers who have appeared to help you learn to stand up for yourself. “If it’s your first time in Fight Club you must fight!”

Virgo- With Mercury Retrograde in your House of Death and Intimacy squaring Mars and Saturn in your House of Creativity and Romance, perhaps this is a time for you to review rather than move ahead in regards to a project or even a relationship you’ve been involved in. As Hemingway once wrote in “The Sun Also Rises” regarding the ill fated affair of the story’s Hero and Heroine, “Isn’t it pretty to think so?” Contemplate these words well, for Neptune in your House of Relationships has you wrapped up in that psychosis some think of as love, yet at the same time you have also lost sight of the forest for the trees in regards to if you even really know this person you’re with. For your own safety make sure that all that glitters is in fact gold when it comes to matters of the heart. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

“I have never had

My heart broken but I have

Dropped it a few times”

Libra- If it feels as though you are living in a time warp while the past and the future seem to be “drawing and quartering” you, take heart, for this too shall pass. Mercury Retrograde in your House of Relationships squaring Mars and Saturn in your House of Symbolic Foundations could bring back a blast from the past in the form of someone whose last appearance in your life occurred when you originally broke through to being the person you have been up until now. Hopefully this will help you to realize that time is not linear, but a circle, and you have merely arrived back at your core issues for a necessary evolutionary review, kind of like flipping a pancake so it can get cooked on the other side. You are more formidable now than you realize and as Pluto aligns with Jupiter Retrograde you will soon see that the challenges of the past couple of months will end up turning into some pretty valuable currency as the Future comes to meet you more than halfway.

Scorpio- The Lunar Arc begins this week in your sign and then travels through your Houses of Earnings and Communication, which along with Mercury Retrograde in your House of Shared Resources, will probably have you thinking a lot right now about how much you’re getting out of a certain situation as opposed to how much you should be getting from it. Mars and Saturn in your House of Creativity will likely have you feeling stifled, which believe it or not could lead you to one of the best ideas you’ve ever had due to a helping hand from Venus in your House of Philosophy. You’ll only ever make as much as you feel you deserve and Jupiter aligning with Pluto are just the pair to motivate you to take a hard look in the mirror until you can honestly say to yourself, “Hell Yeah I’m worth it!”  By the weekend when the Sun and Mars start grappling together you should be all over the situation like white on rice!!!

Sagittarius- The Moon in your sign will start the week in a square with Neptune, which could have you feeling either overly optimistic or pessimistic. Mercury retrograde in your House of Creativity in harsh aspect to a whole bunch of Capricorn planets in your House of Self Worth will eventually set matters straight and in all likelihood be about rethinking or, in some cases, redoing something you already thought was a done deal. If that’s the case, take it easy, it doesn’t mean you’re a bad person because you overlooked something or made a mistake, no matter what you may hear emotional Jupiter rant about behind the scenes. Right now Mars and Saturn in your House of Earnings may have you feeling stuck and under appreciated, but stay calm and keep plugging. As the song goes, “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need.”

Capricorn- With Venus in your House of Creativity and Romance speeding into a beneficial aspect with Mars and Saturn conjunct in your sign, it will be important to realize that the seeds you sow and the deeds you perform at this time will be very important in establishing a foundation for a future you can’t fully picture just yet. Neptune in your House of Communication will be involved in this as well, meaning that there is a strong likelihood that both romance and art could play very important roles in transforming how you think about yourself. Jupiter will also have something to do with this as he aspects Pluto as traditionally these two together usually imply increased monetary resources, meaning you should stop  worrying about the small stuff and just go ahead and get busy doing what needs to be done.

Aquarius- There are times when you can be extremely critical of both yourself and others and with Mercury Retrograde in your House of Communication angling against Mars, Saturn, and Pluto behind the scenes, this could be the time when you finally begin to realize what that’s all about. Neptune in your House of Self Worth has been playing with you for a while, which has only been about trying to get you to see that your value in life is not determined by the approval of others, whether that means always feeling you need to be doing more or else constantly striving to be the center of attention. A simple joke that Mr. Saturn has always liked goes, “Descartes said “to do is to be”, Buddha said “to be is to do”, and Sinatra sang “Do be do be do…” Think about it.

Pisces- This has probably been a year of struggle for you so far and with Mercury Retrograde in your House of Self Worth squaring Mars, Saturn, and Pluto in your House of Dreams, the likelihood is that this battle will be continuing for a while longer. The good news though is if you can hear what Mercury Retrograde is trying to tell you now then some very meaningful insights await in regards to improving your relationships with others and feeling better about yourself. Venus in sensual Taurus and your House of Communication could represent the influence of someone who can help you let go of some of those anxieties you have always thought were just who you are, when in actuality they really represent certain coping mechanisms and who you have learned to be. Things are different now, maybe it’s time for you to be different as well?

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #22 Weekly Horoscopes for 2/5-2/11, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes  for 2/5 – 2/11, 2018

Hi kids! Glad to see you back at Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope

For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without

love

For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet

faith

But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.”

-T.S. Eliot

Aries- The Lunar Arc for this week could bring you some very valuable lessons about relationships that you’re convinced you’ve already learned. You hard charging Rams don’t like to reflect too much or linger any longer than you have to, which means you probably won’t get it this time around either.  The Moon  squaring Pluto in your House of Relationships will likely make you unable to accept a certain situation so that you’ll probably end up feeling unfulfilled and restricted by it. A conjunction with Jupiter in your House of Transformation will then make you feel a need to resist being controlled at all costs. The Moon conjunct Mars in your House of Philosophy will next allow you to justify running away or rebelling, but then successive conjunctions of the Moon with Saturn and Pluto in your House of Public Image and Career will leave you feel lonely and misunderstood. At this point you’ll  probably convince yourself that it’s an either/or situation between a relationship and a career so that  distracting yourself through work will seem like the only justifiable solution for you to be you. While all this is going on The Sun, Venus, and Mercury will all be in your House of Groups and aligning nicely with Uranus in your sign, meaning that as you sabotage a close relationship with your insecurity, your public image will appear to be that of a charismatic and free spirit; talk about parallel universes! Mr. Saturn’s shaking his head; he’s got nothing on this one.

Taurus- This is a time when you need to consciously take control of the circumstances in your life. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus are all in your House of Career and Public Image and they all more or less square Jupiter in your House of Partnerships. This means don’t be aftraid to ask people for what you want. Don’t wait to be given a gift if it’s something you deserve. If someone close to you is starting to seem a little manipulative they probably are. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Philosophy will make you go back and forth on this (as well as with a number of other things that are going on) but with Pluto coming into alignment with Jupiter don’t feel guilty about putting your needs first. Uranus behind the scenes has been providing a certain amount of anxiousness within you for awhile, but now that all those Aquarius planets are lining up with the planet of freedom to confirm that you’re not crazy, make sure you trust your intuition and do what your heart tells you regarding who to trust and who not to trust. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is yours;

“Destiny is the

Inheritance we get from

Fate after a choice”

Gemini- You are a mutable Air Sign meaning that your mind will literally go whichever way the wind blows. This is particularly true at this time as The Sun, Mercury, and Venus all align harshly with Jupiter in one direction and beneficially with Uranus in the other. This could make you want something (or someone) just because circumstances won’t allow it, or it could make you give up on something (or someone) just because that’s the easiest thing to do right now. As Mars moves into a square with Neptune make sure you’re seeing the situation for what it really is; meaning be aware that what’s going on may actually originate from how you feel about yourself and not some outer reality dictating your existence. Be especially careful over the weekend if a charming stranger seems like they have all the answers to your topsy-turvy life, they don’t, but you may unwittingly have something they could beg, borrow, or steal to satiate their appetite for ego gratification. The Lunar Arc for you this week begins in the House of Creativity and ends in the House of Death and Transformation, meaning responsibility will follow action for you this week as immediately as burps follow beer, so don’t chug that mug just because you feel challenged to prove yourself.

Cancer- With a cluster of planets moving through your House of Legacies and Transformation and aligning with Uranus in your House of Public Image, you have been compelled so far this year to take care of everyone else’s needs but your own. With that same group of planets squaring Jupiter in your House of Creativity you also need to recognize that your life is a steaming locomotive rapidly running out of track, meaning that it’s high time you started taking care of what you need to do for yourself and calling in as many markers as possible to get help. Those who let you down will not be your friends in this next cycle of your life that is rapidly approaching. Pluto in your House of Relationships has been transforming how you deal with others for a while now and with the recent addition of Saturn into that same House you are being asked to swim with the tide instead of feeling that you are being drowned under a tidal wave of circumstances beyond your control. At the end of the week Venus will be entering your House of Philosophy to join Neptune in its home sign of Pisces, with both squaring Mars in your House of Daily Routines and Health. Please my sensitive little crustacean friend, learn to trust the changing tides, after all, you are a creature of the sea.

Leo- The needs and demands of a significant other may have finally reached the point of being untenable unless something is done, though not by you as they have already worn out that option. You Lions are always the last ones to realize it when you’re being taken advantage of, especially if the perpetrator is making you feel like you’re the most important person in their life. If this manipulation is happening on the home front then there isn’t any action on your part that’s needed, but rather non-action. Stop doing stuff that they should be doing, whether that means trying to counsel them about a situation they complain about constantly but won’t change, or cleaning up after them. In other words, stop being whatever they need you to be and start being what you need to be in your own life. Of course this will mean confronting your fears about being alone, but with Mars moving through rebellious Sagittarius on its way to an inevitable confrontation with Uranus not too long from now either you plan how this difficult situation is going to play out or else be surprised when your partner acts like an emotional kamikazi. Mr. Saturn understands this isn’t going to be pretty, but he is telling you what you need to hear and you know it. Remember the line from the song, “I can do bad all by myself.” Word!

Virgo- Saturn and Pluto in your House of Fun and Creativity is where your focus should be this week. Jupiter in Scorpio aligning with the aforementioned pair will likely have you wondering, could there be more fun in my life? At the same time a bunch of Aquarius planets moving through your House of Routines and aligning with Uranus will stimulate you to reflect on how you spend your time if, in fact, you’re not enjoying yourself? Venus will enter Pisces and your House of Partnerships at the end of the week, where it will eventually join with illusionary Neptune before squaring Mars in your House of Home and Symbolic Foundations. How much is a partner requiring of you on a day-to-day basis and to what extent do these expectations consider what your needs are? Hmmm. The Lunar Arc this week will begin in the sign of Libra, which naturally governs relationships and represents your House of Self Worth, where it will first square Saturn and then Pluto before finishing up at the end of the week toe to toe with those same revolutionary boys, Saturn and Pluto, in your House of Creativity. Mr. Saturn say’s, “Try to remember that the word “revolution” also includes the word “love” in it.

Libra- The French Poet Rimbaud (a Libran native) once wrote; “Now is the eve. Let us receive every influx of strength and true tenderness/And at dawn, armed with an ardent patience, we’ll enter into the splendid cities.” What you’re going through now is the stuff from which true poetry is made. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus in your House of Creativity are all angling harshly with Jupiter in your house of Self Worth, setting the stage for some of your long held ideals to clash with reality. Meanwhile, Uranus in your House of Relationships annoyingly keeps repeating that the only true freedom is in being yourself and fighting the good fight. So what is this ardent patience referred to by Mr. Rimbaud? That would be the presence of both Pluto and Saturn in your House of Symbolic Foundations at the very bottom of your chart, each of them working with Neptune as you sort out true visions from illusions and fleeting friendships from real love. The Lunar Arc for the week will descend from your ascendant to your IC, making it seem as if you are entering a dark night of the soul, although along the way the strength and true tenderness referred to in the Rimbaud quote will also be present in the form of Mars in Sagittarius and Venus entering Pisces. Mr. Saturn would encourage you to hang in there and, “May the odds ever be in your favor.”

Scorpio- As The Sun, Mercury, and Venus all sweep across the bottom of your chart and square Jupiter in your sign, you could be experiencing some unexpected delays either at work or on the home front. Not too worry. There is a metaphysical side to all of this that will be activated when Venus enters your House of Creativity, at which point she will sextile Uranus and then square Mars, motivating you to do what needs to be done as you come to the enlightening realization that the challenges life presents us are often the very blessings we need to truly change our realities and make Magick happen. The Lunar Arc this week will also be an illustration of this theme as the Moon begins its journey in your House of Confinement and then continues on through your Houses of Self Worth and Ideas, mirroring the process of birth as you emerge from a symbolic womb to be born into a world of limitless possibilities. As William Blake wrote in his Marriage of Heaven and Hell, “No bird soars too high, if he soars with his own wings.”

Sagittarius- The bottom of an Astrological Chart represents a person’s symbolic foundations. In your case, with Neptune lingering down there for so long you probably feel like a shipwreck survivor adrift in a vast ocean where nothing ever seems to change except for the sun going up and down. On the other hand, with Mars having recently entered your sign another part of you is beginning to feel inspired by a whole new level of energy starting to emerge, the likes of which you’ve probably not felt since back in the day when you were younger and life seemed to present more exciting possibilities. As Mars continues forward and comes into alignment with Mercury in your House of Communication you could likely encounter an unexpected opportunity, either at work or involving a special interest you have. Pluto and Saturn in your House of Self Worth are requiring you to step up and be more ambitious, meaning that any added responsibilities you are willing to accept in your career at this time will likely bring worthwhile dividends in the future. When Venus enters your Home area over the weekend expect that a loved one will need your special attention.

Capricorn- Mr. Saturn say’s, “Impatience is a doppelganger who doesn’t believe in you.” With Mars behind the scenes in your House of Confinement rapidly moving toward an exact square with Neptune in your House of Thinking, this could end up turning into a very anxious week for you as you find yourself worrying and wondering about everything. Add to this the fact that the Sun, Mercury, and Venus in your House of Self Worth are in a harsh angle with Jupiter in your House of Dreams and you’re also probably going to feel judged, yet the question is, by whom? The Lunar Arc beginning in your House of Public Image could have you overly concerned about what others may be thinking, so by the time it enters your sign to close the week you could be knee-deep in fixing things that may not really need to be fixed. Saturn and Pluto in your sign will be offering some sound advice on being careful about how much you worry about what you don’t have, simply because it usually means you’re also likely overlooking what you do have. This is where that doppelganger will be taunting you with ultimatums and judgments about how you should be doing so much better instead of wasting time. Mr. Saturn has a haiku for you this week;

“How much of our fear

Is simply the learning curve

For finding our strength?”

Aquarius- With the Sun, Venus, and Mercury all in your sign and squaring Jupiter in your House of Career you may have some of those close to you asking, “who are you and what have you done with (fill in your name)”? Neptune in your House of Self Worth is not helping to clear up this question, which is just fine with you as long as you remain the center of attention and Mars in your House of Groups has an audience to conquer. Saturn and Pluto behind the scenes will manage to keep things exciting much in the same way that a civil war is exciting, but at what price? Your ambition is ruthless right now, but so is your naiveté when it comes to how fast and loose you think you can play chicken with the balance of the universe. As Venus pulls into Pisces to end the week make sure that you’re not mistaking the admiration of others for love, especially when there is no humility present on your part. Mr. Saturn is feeling inspired this week so he has a haiku for you as well;

“We cast out lines to

Catch fish, yet rarely think past

The water’s surface”

Pisces- The Sun, Venus, and Mercury are all in your House of Confinement and squaring Jupiter in your House of Philosophy, meaning that perhaps the opinions of others are holding a little too much sway with you right now, regardless if you’re trying to conform or rebel as both represent flip sides of the same coin. Saturn and Pluto together in your House of Dreams could also seem like they’re really cracking the whip on you now as it feels like you’re being made to struggle more than you should have to for everything you need. Take heart, there is a silver lining in this cloud of difficulty surrounding you, although complaining about what’s happening or blaming others won’t help you to see it. When Venus enters your sign at the end of the week and starts to approach a beneficial alignment with Saturn in your House of Dreams, you may get a glimpse of the person you’re capable of becoming as you manage to rise to the occasion in a very difficult situation. Because Venus is currently very close to Neptune at this time and both are in your sign, the lesson here will likely involve compassion and selflessness, which may be just what you needed to learn to permanently change your luck.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #20 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/22 – 1/28, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/22 – 1/28, 2018

Hi kids!!! The Sun is now solidly in the sign of Aquarius and as the song goes,

“Harmony and understanding

Sympathy and trust abounding

No more falsehoods or derisions

Golden living dreams of visions

Mystic crystal revelations

And the mind’s true liberation…”

Yeah, right, first though we’ll have to get over this current “Fire and Fury,” reopen the government, and then decide which form of “shit story” we want to believe. No puedo!!!

Aries- With the power couple of The Sun and Venus in your House of Groups this week you need to get out there and work the room! I know you think networking can be phony, but that’s only if you’re a charlatan. With Mercury approaching a conjunction with Pluto in your House of Career you are nothing short of a stone cold killer now, except with a fashion sense, charm, and integrity. In fact you’ll probably be the sharpest tool in any shed you find yourself in at this time, so make sure you ninja up and subtly make sushi out of whatever (and whoever) stands in your way. The arc of the Moon this week begins in your sign and then continues through your Houses of Earnings and Communication, meaning get out and “do you” without any apologies, and remember the line from Glengarry Glen Ross, “A-B-C… A-Always, B-Be, C-Closing… Always be closing, always be closing.”

Taurus- Mercury and Pluto are getting thick as thieves in your House of Philosophy right now, meaning your “Spidey Sense” will be tingling like crazy and you’ll feel like you just know stuff before it happens. Add Jupiter in Scorpio and your House of Relationships to the aforementioned mix and no one will be able to escape your X-ray vision. No one. Later in the week when Mars enters Sagittarius and opposes the Moon in Gemini make sure you don’t feel too much sympathy for someone close to you that has just made a mistake you knew they were going to make. With all your power of insight now, realize that how you dole out your sympathy in this situation will mark an important evolutionary step for you in terms of being able to shut down manipulative people who try to take advantage of your good nature. Mr. Saturn say’s, “the bait and switch works because the mark takes the bait.” Nuff said!!!

Gemini- It is one thing to see through other people’s BS, it is quite another matter if what they’re doing throws you off your game so that you end up playing by their rules. Mercury and Pluto will join hands in your House of Transformation midweek and together these two represent penetrating insight. Add to this an alignment with Jupiter and any secrets discovered at this time could turn into some very valuable knowledge for the future. However, keep in mind, if this knowledge doesn’t translate into a sense of self-empowerment for you then it’s merely data. You must realize that what needs to change here is not someone else’s bad (that’s their karma). To really benefit from discovering someone else’s manipulations or bad behaviour you must be able to see how what they’ve done is a way to help you realize your own truth. When Mars moves into Sagittarius and opposes the Moon on your relationship axis just before the weekend, make sure that you’re not blaming anyone else for what’s going on if it’s you who are giving your power away.

Cancer- With the impending conjunction of Mercury and Pluto in your House of Relationships about to align with Jupiter in your House of Creativity, the important thing now is to rethink how you interact with others. Not in terms of any surface behavior, but rather how you feel about yourself before a face-to-face even occurs. The power couple of Venus and the Sun now transiting through your House of Transformation will suggest you set aside your emotional shoulder bag and all the heavy stuff it contains from the past. As Mars enters your House of Work over the weekend let its newly acquired Sagittarius optimism inspire you to action. Try not to hesitate because of the fear you sense in others who still have hang-ups you outgrew long ago. This can be a turnaround week for you philosophically if you can just try to behave like you’re at a New Orleans funeral. In other words, bury the sadness from the past and turn the dirge that accompanied your entrance into a jazzy theme for your exit.

Leo- All of the fixed signs can be oblivious at times, but you Lion people can really take that clueless ball and run with it. As a result, the Mercury/Pluto conjunction this week in your House of Daily Routines could really end up being a slap in the face that you don’t see coming. With Jupiter in Scorpio moving through your House of Family, don’t be surprised if one or more of your relatives have a bone to pick with you. Of course you’ll react badly because you won’t know what they’re talking about. Let me spell it out for you. The Lunar Arc this week goes from Aries through Taurus to Gemini, or from selfishness to responsibility to adapting. In other words, it’s time to shift your priorities from what’s easy to what’s necessary because you’ve been taking someone else’s efforts for granted and they’re done with your sense of entitlement. As the Moon ends the week in Cancer and your House of Confinement, you’re likely going to feel that these recent criticisms directed at you have been unfair and your accusers are cold and insensitive. Try to realize (if you can) that this is not about what you’ve done, but what you haven’t done. Try a little humility instead of being righteous and in all likelihood you’ll be forgiven. Like the Beatles sang, “Man I was mean but I’m changing my scene and I’m doing the best that I can.”

Virgo- You could very well have an “aha” moment this week regarding a creative challenge. If that’s the case, thank Mr. Mercury and Mr. Pluto for all their great investigative work. Of course Jupiter in your House of Thinking and Communication was also instrumental in this epiphany, not to mention the Sun and Venus in detached Aquarius for helping you to put your frustration aside and keep your nose to the grindstone. Of course this doesn’t mean they’ll be blue skies from now on, especially since Mars will be entering your House of Home and on its arrival will oppose a Gemini Moon in your House of Public Image. Foggy Neptune is involved in this meeting as well as he throws in his two cents from your House of Relationships. You can’t be all things for all people so determine some priorities for yourself and be matter of fact with those who want to drink your blood. Mr. Saturn’s Haiku this week is for you;

“Doing for others

What they should do themselves is

A control issue”

Libra- The Magickal term that will describe this week for you is “Crossing the Abyss.” In a nutshell this means that you’ll likely have to let go of something old so that something new can come into your life. This probably sounds cool, but most people are very attached to who they have learned to be in order to fit in with everyone else, therefore, this transition might end up being really uncomfortable based on the reactions you get from others. I know this isn’t necessarily good news for you endlessly equivocating Libra folk, but you’ll probably realize it was all for the best on the back end. Mercury and Pluto conjunct in your House of Symbolic Foundations could signal some really important discoveries, especially since they both align with Jupiter in your House of Self Worth. This could mean a possible windfall of cash or an unusual opportunity. It could also be a meaningful transition, like when Dr. Bruce Banner turns into the Incredible Hulk. Granted, he does usually lose a set of clothes, but on the other hand he also gains super powers. Sounds stressful, I know, which is why Mr. Saturn feels you deserve a haiku this week;

“You can’t expect what

Will set you free, only hope

That you accept it”

Scorpio- The natural detective in you will likely be inspired to come out this week, so, what do you think you might find? Well, Mr. Saturn ain’t gonna be no spoiler and ruin a good mystery, but as a hint you should pay attention to Mercury and Pluto digging around in your House of Education and communicating with Jupiter in your sign. The Lunar Arc going from your House of Work through your House of Partnerships and then into your house of Legacies could mean…uh-uh, no more hints. Oh, okay…Somebody may want to reward your good work with something nice….nuff said!!! The Sun and Venus are playing house in your Home and Family area, which could mean your investigative skills could be directed toward some home decorating, or you could end up having a guest for a while. Just make sure you set some boundaries with this person so you don’t have to discover something bad about them that you didn’t know before. Then again, that’s what makes a good mystery; the detective never suspects where the original crime will lead. As the song goes, “I don’t know how much more of this I can take/ She’s filing her nails while they’re dragging the lake….”

Sagittarius- Pay attention to the writing on the wall this week and you just might be able to uncover some information that could help you dodge a bullet that’s being aimed at your back by someone you thought was a friend. Jupiter in your House of Secrets will act as a protective influence, thereby allowing you to follow with impunity the lead being forged by Mercury and Pluto in solid Capricorn as they investigate behind the scenes to uncover whatever it is you need to know. The Lunar Arc this week would further suggest you being the detective as it crosses your Houses of Creativity, Work, and Partnerships, meaning you could stand to benefit in all three areas. When Mars enters your sign at the end of the week it will oppose the Moon in your House of Relationships, reiterating what was mentioned earlier about defending yourself from some slanderous rumors being circulated by a dubious source. Nebulous Neptune will also be involved here so Mr. Saturn would suggest following this sage advice, “Use all your well-learned politesse/ Or I’ll lay your soul to waste, mm yeah.”

Capricorn- With Mercury and Pluto coming together in your sign this week the time has come when you need to look people in the eye and shoot straight at the target. Jupiter in your House of Groups is aligning solidly with this need for honesty, so make sure you do the right thing even if it seems like it might lead to a hassle. Whether you realize it or not others are looking to your lead so trust your instincts and people will trust you. The Sun and Venus are a power couple in your House of Earned Income now so make sure you “do you” without any apologies and you should see your brand escalate in value right before your eyes. Later in the week Mars will enter your House of Confinement and oppose a Gemini Moon in your House of Work. After the principled stand you made to start the week try to refrain now from either being overly opportunistic or slipping into a sort of lazy limbo where you feel you have somehow earned the right to coast for awhile on your accomplishments. As Grace Slick once sang, “Two Heads can be put together/ And you can fill both your feet with sand/No one will know you’ve gutted your mind/ But what will you do with your bloody hands?”

Aquarius- On the surface you’re all charm and glitz right now due to the fact that both the Sun and Venus are cake walking through your sign. Behind the scenes though Mercury and Pluto are rummaging around for something deeper and less ephemeral than the shiny sequins of Venus. Jupiter in your House of Public Image and Career will continue to puff up these illusions, yet at the same time the King of the Planets is also slipping deeper into the shadows being opened up by the investigations of both Mercury and Pluto. Simply put, this is a time of initiation for you so try not to accept much of anything at face value. There is both an angel and a devil within you right now that needs to be dealt with and the one that wins will be the one you feed. Just remember Robert Mitchum’s murderous character in “The Night of the Hunter” when he exhibits the tattoos of Love and Hate on his fingers and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Pisces- Neptune rules both illusion and higher consciousness and as this foggy planet currently transits through your sign it should not be unusual for you to have alternating experiences of both profound confusion and liberating enlightenment. The second of these two states will likely begin your week as the Sun and Venus infuse your inner depths with a sense of universal love. Meanwhile, a Mercury/Pluto conjunction in your House of Dreams will alternately provide you with a deep awareness of your responsibilities. You know clearly at this time what the right thing to do is and, amazingly enough, you will likely try your best to do it. Jupiter in your House of Philosophy will motivate you to rise to the occasion for a loved one, which will probably play out in real time as Mars enters noble Sagittarius just before the weekend and you square off with someone whose questionable behavior you can no longer ignore. The Lunar Arc will give you a temporary respite from some recent financial difficulties, so don’t be surprised if you become the recipient of some timely generosity, either through an unusual opportunity or an unexpected gift.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #19 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/15- 1/21, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/15 – 1/21, 2018

Hi kids!!! Glad to have y’all back at Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“Faith is self confidence when the self has been surrendered.”

-Aleister Crowley

Aries- With a new Moon in Capricorn pairing up with Venus in your House of Career and squaring Uranus transiting through your sign, you’re no doubt feeling impatient with others this week, however, be careful. No one wants to have anything Rammed down their throats, even if it is something they’ll eventually come to love and need. A little patience will be advantageous to your current ideas of manifest destiny, so take your lead from judicious Jupiter in Scorpio as he aligns nicely with Pluto, the Ruler of Hidden Wealth. Mr. Saturn is also in your House of Career and he and Mercury have concocted a very practical plan for you. The only rub is that Mercury has been dispatched to deliver this important news to you on a goat and even though these friendly yet stubborn creatures are quite hardy, they are not particularly fast with a payload. Later in the week when the Sun and Venus enter Aquarius you’ll likely be busy with a group or organization that just can’t do without you. Listen to Mr. Saturn when he says, “forget what you might not have yet, fabulous certainly counts for something.”

Taurus- You could be struggling this week with making a commitment to either a person or a situation as the New Moon in Capricorn joins up with Venus and squares Uranus. If you’re worried about how this choice may limit your sovereignty or personal freedom perhaps you should first ask yourself what those concepts actually mean to you? The people and circumstances in our lives are supposed to change us; it’s called “evolution.” Are you willing to let someone or something change you or do you think you can bend the universe to your ego (or fear)? Jupiter and Mars in your House of Relationships aligning with Pluto in your House of Philosophy are debating this issue, however, there will be no winner or loser in this discussion if you have confidence in yourself. Just accept that change is inevitable and if it is love that has come knocking on your door, well…Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you.

“If Love comes knocking

Let it in, you will always

Learn something useful”

Gemini- While the Sun, Moon, Venus, Pluto, Mercury, and Saturn are all in your House of Death, Resurrection, and Legacies this week, your commitments and responsibilities both at work and at home will be in need of immediate attention. Initially this will annoy you as Uranus in your House of Dreams will instead want to step out and play, however, duty will win out as Jupiter and Mars in your House of Routines align with Neptune to tug on your heartstrings and make sure you do the right thing. The only question that remains is have you been motivated to these tasks by love or guilt, or both? Reflecting on the answer to this may result in some disturbing moments as your dark side briefly rears its ugly head, but don’t worry, when the Sun and Venus cross over into Aquarius your secret will be safe and no one will suspect your behind the scenes meltdown. As Mr. Saturn will remind you, “no one wants to hear about the labor pains, they just want to see the baby.”

Cancer- A stellium of Capricorn Planets in your House of Relationships this week could cause you to feel overwhelmed with responsibility for those you care about. Jupiter and Mars in your House of Creativity will make it possible for you to draw on some very deep resources to take care of whatever dilemmas are facing you and yours, however, be careful that you don’t completely exhaust yourself in the process of trying to be “A Man (or Woman) For All Seasons.” With Uranus in harsh angle to all those aforementioned Capricorn planets there is also the distinct possibility that you could make the mistake of doing something for someone they should be doing for themselves. As a result, you could end up creating some unexpected (and unnecessary) problems for yourself. Because he hates saying “I told you so,” Mr. Saturn will instead comment to no one in particular (are you listening?) “No good deed goes unpunished…..” Nuff said!!!

Leo- The difference between fear and courage is mostly based on how you feel about yourself. The symbol for Leo is the Lion and, as a result, it is probably the sign of the zodiac most associated with courage. On the other hand Leo is a fixed sign so it can also be associated with inflexibility and dogma, which can sometimes lead to an unwillingness to upset the status quo for fear of losing one’s position. With a logjam of Capricorn planets in your House of Work being squared by Uranus, it is quite likely that you are currently being taken advantage of on the job and the time has come for you to stop being scared of what you might lose and instead speak up. Of course now we’re back to fear or courage being based on how you feel about yourself. Mr. Saturn would suggest you give a listen to the Tom Petty song that goes, “Well I know what’s right/ I got just one life/ In a world that keeps on pushin’ me around/ I’ll stand my ground/ And I won’t back down.”

Virgo- Rebellion is often the result of first having given your power away so that you can prove your worthiness by taking it back. This is a subtle psychological point that often goes unrecognized by all those angry young rebels out there who are projecting their fear and anger on the rest of the world in order to prove something. You need to realize you are no longer a boy or a girl and no one is forcing you to do anything. With 6 planets in Capricorn in your House of Creativity squaring Uranus in your House of Shared Resources, you have come to a threshold of understanding now and whether you do something or not should be based on what you want and not what someone else can manipulate you into. Make sure you are choosing your path based on love not on anger. Once you realize this it may be easier than expected to make a dream come true. As the song goes, “No one you can save that can’t be saved/ Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be in time/ It’s easy/All you need is love…”

Libra- A traffic jam of planets in Capricorn and your House of Symbolic Foundations are all squaring individualistic Uranus and probably making you feel as if your whole world is shifting it’s axis and turning upside down. Jupiter and Mars in your House of Self Worth are offering some help, but because they’re in the sign of Scorpio now they could likely be an indication of inner attainment rather than outer manifestation, which is exactly what you need to realize right now even if that awareness is not currently making you feel any better. Because this is essentially a time of inner evolution it is important that you accept what’s happening and let it guide your decisions rather than clinging to an exterior comfort zone that’s no longer realistic. As another Libra once wrote in his book, “Psychedelic Prayers,”

“The seed of mystery

Lies in muddy water

How can we fathom the muddiness?

Water becomes clear through stillness

How can we become still?

By moving with the stream”

Scorpio- This is a time of attainment for you, yet because you’re a sign that’s ruled by the extremes of the eagle and the scorpion, which in turn represent both the Saint and the Sinner respectively, what you seek could very well be a spiritual accomplishment just as easily as it could be a material one. Either way though it’s going to be about “walking the walk” and not just “talking the talk,” meaning there are no shortcuts for what you want no matter how impatient your naturally intense nature may get. A crowd of planets in Capricorn and your House of Intellect are currently working with Jupiter and Mars in your sign, as well as Neptune in your House of Creativity, which would all indicate that your inherent wisdom will likely take the evolutionary steering wheel away from your naturally desirous temperament so that no matter what you end up with you will attain a true Mastery of yourself in the process. As the song goes, “Come all without, come all within/ You’ll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn”

Sagittarius- The Second House is usually referred to as the “House of Earned Income,” though I prefer to call it the House of Self Worth because you usually won’t earn anymore than you feel you’re worth, a distinction that clearly puts the power of the house squarely in your hands. With a traffic jam of Capricorn Planets currently in your Second House the question you need to ask yourself is, do you feel you are getting what you’re worth from whoever is employing your services? Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio and your House of What’s Hidden are giving you everything from headaches to gas pains as they debate this matter with foggy, illusory Neptune down at the bottom of your chart. It won’t be until later in the week when the Sun, Venus, and the Moon all move into Aquarius and your House of Communication that you’ll finally be able to make out what Jupiter and Mars have been trying to tell you through the cloud of Neptune’s white noise. Hopefully at that point you’ll finally decide to start working with Uranus in your House of Creativity to begin actively seeking a situation worthy of your talents. Then you’ll be able to sing this Jackson Browne song to whoever’s been using you, “And then you’ll have to eat your lunch all by yourself/ Cause I’m already gone.”

Capricorn- The week will begin with 6 planets in your sign (including a New Moon) with all of them led by your ruler, Mr. Saturn. If that isn’t a mandate for some serious shit I don’t know what is. In addition, Jupiter and Mars will be supporting this goat-fest from your House of Groups, meaning it’s likely you’ll be a force to be reckoned with either at work or within whatever organizations you belong to or gatherings you attend. Uranus at the bottom of your chart could, in some instances, be a disruptive or rebellious influence, but with all that responsible Capricorn energy going on it’s more likely that the planet of freedom will give you a unique sense of purpose as you leap from one challenge to another like the mountain goat you are. When the Sun, Venus, and the Moon enter Aquarius later in the week they’ll be in your House of Self Worth, which should help you feel more connected to what’s going on around you and thereby more receptive than usual to the needs of others. Donate your time to someone in need, you’ll be glad you did.

Aquarius- There is so much you feel you want to do, but where to begin? Mr. Saturn and 5 other planets are behind the scenes in your chart like a board of directors trying to plot a course for your manifest destiny, meanwhile Uranus is kicking ass and taking the names of anyone who so much as breathes a word of disagreement or negativity anywhere near you. Ambition like this can sometimes have the negative effect of turning those who could help you into adversaries, however, it’s lucky for you that Venus and the Sun will be entering your sign later in the week to provide you with just the charm you’ll need to convince even the crustiest cynic to crack a smile and enjoy the show. Jupiter and Mars in your House of the Public would suggest you’ll acquire whatever it is you’re pursuing (after all, who could resist you?) just make sure you’re also taking the time to connect with your audience and not just looking at them as numbers to be tallied on that big scoreboard of your ego. As the song goes, “Mr. Big Stuff, who do you think you are?”

Pisces- With Neptune in your sign you most certainly have a vision of what you want for the future, but with 6 planets in Capricorn transiting through your House of Dreams what’s important now is that you start taking care of the nuts and bolts tasks necessary to turn these dreams into a reality. Uranus in your House of Self Worth will attempt to distract you from your appointed rounds, although try to realize that any feelings of rebellion you may have at this time are probably nothing more than veiled excuses that are masking a deep sense of insecurity and a lack of self confidence about what you’re capable of. Later in the week as Venus and the Sun enter your House of Secrets make sure you take the time for some healthy introspection. Share your feelings with a trusted family member or even a professional therapist. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable, it is actually a sign of strength. As the song goes,

“What would you think if I sang out of tune?

Would you stand up and walk out on me?

Lend me your ears and I’ll sing you a song

And I’ll try not to sing out of key”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #17 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/1-1/7, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/1 – 1/7, 2018

Hi Kids!!! Happy New Year!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. Before starting the Weekly Horoscopes for 2018, I would first like to take a moment to recount a little story that happened to me at the end of last year during the week between Christmas and New Years.

After putting away a couple of courses at an all-you-can-eat buffet that I was attending with my wife and her family, I eventually decided to get myself some dessert. When I went over to the ice cream station I encountered a Little Old Man in a hoody and a baseball hat standing there with an empty bowl in his hands and a very confused look on his face. I waited behind him for a moment but when I realized he wasn’t on line and was just standing there I said, “Excuse me” and went around him. “There’s no scoopers,” he said, and upon surveying the situation I could see the Old Guy was right. I looked around to see if there was an employee nearby who could help us, but the ice cream counter was situated in a far corner of the restaurant and there was no one around. It was then I suddenly remembered my unused spoon back at the table so I went to get it. The Little Old Man was still standing there with his bowl when I returned and once again he announced, “There’s no scoopers.” While I used the spoon I brought back from the table to serve myself some ice cream, I casually remarked to the Old Fellow, “Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands.” When I was finished serving myself I said, “goodbye” to him, but all he did was continue to stand there in silence with his bowl and stare at the ice cream.

When I returned to the table and repeated this incident to my wife she replied, “Wow, that’s a wonderful metaphor of life, you should include it in Mr. Saturn. Needless to say I followed her advice, which makes the moral of this New Year’s story for me, “Listen to your wife.”

Aries- As the year begins, ambition will be your middle name with The Sun, Venus, and Pluto all moving together through your House of Career to align with Jupiter and Mars holding hands in your House of Death and Transformation. You are resourceful and persistent at this time and with a Super Full Moon in Cancer in your House of Foundations you will also be feeling an almost biological imperative to establish something new for yourself that will stand the test of time. On the second of January, Uranus will go station/direct in your sign, which should help you turn some of last years frustration into originality and a new sense of panache for 2018. Mr. Saturn would say, “You’re trending!”

Taurus- The Lunar Arc this week through the lowest part of your chart will activate some deep seeded feelings of longing that should inspire you to re-visit some dreams you have been procrastinating about for far too long. This could involve either establishing a new home base or beginning a new career direction as The Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all activating the part of you that wants to make your mark in the world by establishing something both progressive meaningful. With Mercury moving direct toward Uranus and a Super Full Moon in your House of Thinking it is also important that you are willing to bend or even break some rules now to get yourself out of the logical and comfortable rut you’re luxuriating in. Mr. Saturn say’s, “it’s not about what you can get away with, it’s about what you need to get away from.”

Gemini- The Super Full Moon that starts this week will be in the sign of Cancer and your House of Self Worth. This could be either a recipe for insecurity or a rallying cry for success as this Super Moon opposes The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Transformation and trines a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio. Sometimes fear motivates people to do remarkable things and at other times it freezes them in their tracks. Usually it all boils down to what you feel you have to lose; and we’re not talking about your material status, we’re talking about you’re spiritual and emotional net worth if you are letting yourself be defined by the approval of others. Also be careful mid-week that you don’t bite off your nose to spite your face as a Leo Moon aligns with a stationing Uranus in Aries, a fire combo that can be about irrationality as much as rebelliousness.

Cancer- With a stellium of Planets (specifically The Sun, Venus, and Pluto) in your House of Relationships opposing the Super Full Moon in your sign, this is a week that will reveal both how much others will need from you as well as how new situations will offer some unexpected solutions to some old problems. Mercury in your House of Daily Routines approaching a station/direct Uranus in your House of Public Image should certainly bring some surprises, not the least of which will be the swiftness with which circumstances can change. A Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune should also bring some surprises, specifically how fast your intuition works as it deftly parry’s and returns one blow after another as fate prepares you for the destiny you’ve always dreamed of.

Leo- With the Super Full Moon lighting your inner recesses like a roman candle and a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Symbolic Foundations rumbling like an earthquake, who (or what) is to blame if your soul is feeling unsettled and your life seems on shaky ground? The logjam of Capricorn Planets in your House of Work and routines would suggest you’d like to blame it on your boss or anyone else who is expecting anything from you, while Mercury moving quickly toward Uranus would suggest it’s probably anyone who’d remind you that the only one responsible for what happens in your life and how you feel is you. Neptune in your House of Transformation would further indicate that whichever answer you choose you’ll still feel miserable, so Mr. Saturn would suggest blaming yourself because at least that way you’d be in charge and that’s where you Leo folks always want to be.

Virgo- This is a week for doing, not talking. A Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio and your House of Communication working with The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in Capricorn and your House of Creativity (as well as Neptune in your House of Relationships) should collectively motivate you to talk softly but carry a big stick. The Super Full Moon in Cancer will probably make you more tolerant (and patient) than usual and Mercury in Sagittarius approaching Uranus should make you as sharp as a razor in order to slice through whatever bullsh*t may come your way while leaving a minimum of blood on the floor. The Lunar Arc this week will also aid you in realizing that you’re probably more in control of your life than you’ve ever been before. All Mr. Saturn has to say at this point is, “High five!”

Libra- This week a Super Full Moon in Cancer will form a Grand Trine with both a Mars/Jupiter conjunction in your House of Self Worth and Neptune in your House of Work and Daily Routines, which means you are probably feeling inspired to move forward with either your career in general or a creative project you have high hopes for. However, as the song goes, “Turn, turn, turn, there is a time for every purpose under heaven…” meaning that The Sun, Venus, and Pluto marching now through Capricorn and your Home sector may be requiring you to focus your energies elsewhere for the time being. Saturn is also there in your House of Home and that should help you to realize beyond the shadow of a doubt that whatever seems to be holding back the Dream Express for you at this time is an absolutely necessary delay, in fact it is an evolutionary precursor for whatever it is you are hoping to be. So, have a glass of wine with Mr. Saturn and sing along, “Time, time, time, is on my side, yes it is….”

Scorpio- You have so many good ideas now it’s like a convention of fireflies in a shady grove on a hot summer night. Don’t let inspiration pass without action at this time and be a dreamer with a house full of travel brochures who has never went anywhere. A Jupiter /Mars conjunction will be exact in your sign this week, which in turn forms a powerful Grand Trine with the Super Moon in your House of Ideas and Neptune in your House of Creativity. Make the time to play, create, or even howl at the moon if you’d like because if you’re feeling it in your heart then it is necessary to share it with someone. A stellium of planets in practical Capricorn will help you think all this through and make it real, just make sure you’re following your bliss.

Sagittarius- The Super Moon in Cancer that starts the week is in your House of Legacies, meaning either your Mama is leaving you a lot of dough or you’ve been sacrificing a lot of yourself and hoping there’s an afterlife to make up for it. The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Mr. Saturn all in Capricorn and your House of Self Worth are combining with Neptune in your House of Family to set the bar of responsibility quite high for you, making you feel as if you’re pole vaulter in the Olympics hoping for a medal. Mercury coming into alignment with a soon to be direct Uranus in your House of Creativity should serve as an inspiration for you to break out of this approval rut and leave someone else to clean up after the users (and abusers) in your life, although it could also mean that you’ll pride yourself inordinately at being able to bend over backwards like a circus contortionist to impress these ignoramuses. In addition, Jupiter and Mars in your House of Confinement are like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid trying to bust out of jail, although any decent historian (or even Mr. Saturn) will tell you, “they were never in jail together.” Think on that one for a while.

Capricorn- The Relationship Axis in your chart is overloaded with The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Saturn all in your sign opposing the Cancer Super Full Moon in your House of Partnerships. Are you sweet on anybody now?, Is anyone sweet on you? Have you even noticed? Jupiter in your House of Friends aligning with Neptune in your House of Communication could mean someone you think of as just a friend may secretly like you a whole lot more. Or perhaps someone has been sending you some pretty clear signals and you’re just oblivious? As Mercury in your House of Confinement moves into an eventual alignment with Uranus, you could finally come to realize all the defense mechanisms and walls you’ve set up around yourself under the guise of being “too busy” and “having no time” are just excuses for being too chicken to open your heart. “Awww,” say’s Mr. Saturn, “why I bet plenty of people would like to get to know a sweetie pie like you.” Nuff said!

Aquarius- The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Saturn operating now behind the scenes in your chart all represent the weight of responsibility hanging heavily on your shoulders. At the same time Mercury moving through your House of Groups toward Uranus in your House of Communication is all about exploring every possible angle to create solutions. The Super Full Moon in Cancer this week has you worrying whether or not you’re up to these current challenges, however, Neptune in your House of Earned Income could very well save the day by providing you with an unusual opportunity to acquire some much needed cash. Likewise, Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Career should give you all the drive and courage you should need to see you through these difficult times. It might seem like you’re at the Alamo, but as the song goes, “We are the champions, my friend, and we’ll keep on fighting to the end!”

Pisces- As long as Neptune remains in your sign the challenge will be to stay grounded, not only in regards to your long term goals but in terms of your day to day existence as well. The Sun, Venus, Pluto and Saturn in your House of Dreams will help to keep your nose to the grindstone and make sure things stay organized, while a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio will motivate you to remain focused. Mercury in your House of Career moving into an eventual alignment with Uranus in your House of Earned Income later in the week could bring some unexpected or unusual ways to make a little extra cash, although getting back to Neptune for a moment, make sure you are saving something for a rainy day from anything extra that comes in and not just spending it all. As Jimi Hendrix used to sing, “Castles made of sand fall into the sea, eventually…”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #16 Weekly Horoscopes for 12/25-12/31, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 12/25-12/31, 20017

Hi kids!!! This will be the last Mr. Saturn’s Stars for 2017, but don’t be sad. I wouldn’t be Mr. Saturn if I weren’t coming back to crack the whip on you through 2018 as well. So enjoy your holidays, reflect on where you’ve been and where you hope to go, and I’ll be here again soon enough to haunt you like death and taxes.

Aries- This has been a long and busy year for you, though strangely enough in this final week before the New Year you might find yourself surprisingly energized rather than exhausted. The Lunar Arc this week will begin in your sign and as it squares Venus conjunct Saturn on Christmas Day in your House of Career you will feel not only proud of what you’ve managed to accomplish in 2017, but more importantly you’ll be driven to move ahead with new plans for 2018 as soon as possible. With Jupiter and Mars coming into alignment with Pluto you might also start to notice more of a symbiosis with others than you have in the past. Neptune in your House of What is Hidden will lend a very Occult air to these new feelings of connection as you find yourself turning away from your usual misanthropic leanings and actually trusting others to do the right thing without an argument first! Mr. Saturn say’s, “Namaste!”

Taurus- A stellium of planets in your House of Long distance Travel combining with Neptune in your House of Friends and a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Relationships could see you either on the road for the Holidays to visit someone you’ve been missing, or else entertaining some local strays in your own cozy nest. A personal New Moon in the middle of the week should put you in a contemplative mood as you take stock of the changes you’ve made over the past year and what the future looks like from your new perspective. An unaspected Uranus in your House of Confinement still has you feeling an itch to do something different or be something more, although maybe that’s just about being okay with who you are at any given moment. As the late Dr. Timothy Leary once said, “You cannot use butterfly language to communicate with caterpillars.”

Gemini- A personal New Moon coinciding with the New Year will find you experiencing an epiphany of sorts as you realize even though there is no “I” in the word team, there is certainly a “Me” and that could be where your problems with relationships begin. The Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto currently in your House of Transformation and Shared Resources are all about making a serious long term commitment to a special someone. The alignment of these aforementioned planets with Jupiter, Mars, and Neptune would further indicate that any such commitment would have to begin by relinquishing some of your legendary control issues. It’s not enough to simply want to be different, the trick is to let your self be transformed by what challenges you and that must necessarily begin with trust. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

“When people say they

Want to change, it often means

They hope things will change”

Cancer- Right up until New Years Eve you’ll be burning the candle at both ends trying to keep up with a whirlwind of current challenges, as well as preparing for whatever may be looming on the horizon for 2018. After a relatively calm Christmas with Venus conjunct Saturn in your House of Partnerships, Uranus in your Public Sector and this week’s Lunar Arc should start things off with a bang. Not to fear though, with Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Creativity working with The Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto in that same House of Partnerships that furnished you with a safe holiday, you and your significant other (as well as any other friends or family members who might get involved) should be more than a successful match for any emergencies that might come down the pike. Neptune in your House of Philosophy will also mean that your legendary intuition will be sharper than usual, so pay attention and have faith that you’ll know what to do as your comfort zone continues to morph into a new and more courageous version of you. Like the song goes, “You’ve got to pick up every stitch….”

Leo- You hate to say no to anyone, much less those you care about, but to keep your sanity this holiday week you’re going to have to disappoint someone; just make sure it’s not yourself. Mars and Jupiter in the sign of Scorpio and your House of Family could be about conflicts at home or with in-laws. The Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Work will likely mean that somebody on the job is going to try to dump something on you that is not your responsibility. Whether it’s a family member or a co-worker, you’re going to have to stand up for yourself because no one else is really thinking about your needs. Like the Oracle told Neo in the Matrix, “On the one hand you’ll have Morpheus’s life and on the other hand you’ll have your own.” Mr. Saturn say’s, “You may not want to believe you’re the one until someone rudely tries to convince you they are.”

Virgo- Whenever you think about being responsible it’s usually in regard to someone else’s needs. In the past this way of thinking has often put you in a difficult position and you’ve sworn repeatedly to yourself to be tougher in the future so you won’t be taken advantage of. With 4 major planets now in the duty oriented sign of Capricorn (and ironically your House of Fun) the time has come for you to put your needs first and make sure you enjoy yourself. Noble Jupiter aligning with compassionate Neptune should help with this #mefirst movement you need to get going, while the Lunar Arc approaching Mercury should motivate you to oppose the expectations of a friend or partner who always assumes their way is automatically your way. Listen carefully to the words as Mr. Saturn sings one of his favorite Dylan songs, “Maggies Farm:”

“Well, I try my best

To be just like I am

But everybody wants you

To be just like them”

Libra- Yours is a sign of partnership and this week the themes of loyalty, cooperation, and, most importantly, love, will all be front and center. The Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto crowded into your House of Family and Foundations will bring you a quiet, yet inspirational Christmas at home, even if it’s just you and your partner. After that the Jupiter/Mars conjunction currently going on in your House of Self Worth will align with Neptune and inspire you to join hands and circle the wagons with your loved ones (even those you’re not especially thrilled with) to overcome any obstacle or challenge that may be looming on the horizon. As the 2017 calendar ends, a Mercury/Moon opposition could bring you the inspiration for a new direction in the coming year. Make sure you take notes and don’t let these thoughts pass. “This could be big,” say’s Mr. Saturn, as he pours you another glass of Pinot Noir waiting for the ball to drop……..

Scorpio- As 2017 ends the only planet traveling above the horizon in your chart will be the Moon. All the other planets are passing beneath the horizon, which is traditionally thought to be symbolic of one’s private or inner self. Hence as the year concludes you should probably reflect on what 2017 has meant for you psychologically rather than what you have accomplished materially. In other words, no matter what you’ve managed to do or acquire, are you happy? Mars and Jupiter in your sign lining up with Neptune in your House of Fun would speak to inspiration, is that how you’re feeling? A stellium of planets in Capricorn would conversely speak to practicality and change, so what needs to be different for you to feel that inner fire? Resolve to trust yourself more in 2018 and then allow yourself to dream. Like the song say’s, “I tell you love, sister, it’s just a kiss away, it’s just a kiss away….”

Sagittarius- Mercury in your House of Communication is rapidly approaching an aspect to innovative Uranus in your House of Creativity that will be exact in the first week of 2018. Meanwhile, the Sun, Saturn, Venus, and Pluto are all currently in your House of Self Worth so that the immediate question becomes, what practical steps need to be taken RIGHT NOW to set up all that impending Mercury/Uranus energy? In other words, what will it take for you to focus on what’s important rather than on Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio gossiping behind the scenes? No doubt you’re focused on what they’re saying as they shoot the shit with illusionary Neptune, but what has believing that dirty little secret called “I’m not good enough” gotten you in the past? Just before New Year’s a Gemini Moon will first square Neptune and then sextile Uranus, so pay attention to what you believe about yourself and what options that leaves you. Can you hear Mr. Saturn singing? “Oh mother, tell your children, not to do what I have done…. To spend your life in sin and misery in the House of the Rising Sun….”

Capricorn- Logic will always teach us something, especially when the world doesn’t conform to our expectations. Conversely, intuition and emotion together will always lie, but separately, never. Sorry for waxing philosophical, but this week could either be a logjam or a dam opening for you depending on what you believe. Four major planets in your sign aligning with Jupiter and Mars represents pragmatism central, while on New year’s Eve both Mercury and a Gemini Moon squaring Neptune will be visions of sugar plums dancing in your head. Which is the truth? Uranus all by itself in your House of Foundations is proverbial chaos, meaning you really never know what’s going to happen until it does. Now if I told you that you’re a genius you’d probably not agree, however (and here’s the rub) if I said you weren’t good enough to succeed you might consider it. Decide which you believe and then see where it brings you. That is the only logic Mr. Saturn thinks you’ll need for 2018.

Aquarius- Your mind is as ubiquitous as the wind. Your creativity is like the will of a tiger as it mesmerizes its prey. Your spirit is a majestic mountain that seems to touch the heavens. You are feeling invincible, yet all things must eventually pass and when these miraculous events you are experiencing finally fade, then who will you be? Another insufficient breeze on a sweltering day in the city? Another old and tired tiger in a zoo? Or perhaps another mountain reduced to a hill after it is divided in half by a highway? With The Sun, Saturn, Venus, Pluto, and pretty soon Mercury all in Capricorn and your House of Confinement, the writing is on the wall for something that can’t last forever to eventually change. This is not a doomsday prophecy or simple hatin’, it is merely a warning not to take yourself too seriously. There is a famous story about the Taoist Sage Chuang Tzu who couldn’t decide if he was a butterfly or a man. “I wonder if he was an Aquarius too?” asks Mr. Saturn.

Pisces- Is Reality subjective or objective? If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to see it did the tree really fall? The 20th Century Mystic Teacher Gurdjieef once said, “Man’s greatest weakness is his suggestibility.” With Jupiter and Mars arm in arm in your House of Philosophy and aligning with Neptune in your sign, the propensity now is to believe whatever you want and not doubt your ego until you’re smacked down. A stellium of Capricorn planets in your House of Dreams would suggest you err on the side of caution if possible, and if not, then make it possible because you don’t want some damn hypothetical tree flattening you in a world where bones break and people fail because they believe all kinds of stupid things. As the New Year arrives and sociable Mercury transits your House of Public Image, don’t take those back at home for granted. After all, they are the only ones you can really depend on to yell “Timber!!!”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #15 Weekly Horoscopes for 12/18-12/24, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 12/18 – 12/24, 2017

Hi kids!!! Welcome back once again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

For any of you out there who aren’t feeling all this Christmas hype there is an alternative holiday one can celebrate at this time of year if you’re interested. December 17th – 23rd is the annual Feast of Saturnalia, an Ancient Roman holiday that honored the God Saturn (who, by the way, I’m officially related to according to Ancestry.com).

Unlike the crass commercialism and corny trappings of Christmas, Saturnalia featured all kinds of freaky stuff. There was role reversal and behavioral license, like Masters serving Slaves at the celebration banquet, Slaves being able to gamble with their Master’s or even disobey them without fearing punishment, and of course lots of Free Love. According to one source, “Rampant overeating and drunkenness became the rule and a sober person the exception.” My Great, great, great, great Granddad really knew how to throw a party, didn’t he? So, if you’d prefer to abandon social norms this holiday season instead of conforming as usual, then join the conga line to the Temple of Saturn nearest you and debauch de-year away!

Aries- With the New Moon, Venus, and Saturn in Sag to start the week and all of them aligning with Uranus in your sign, you will no doubt be feeling invincible, or at least fairly lucky if you can manage to do something like be on the platform at the same time as the train pulls into the station so you won’t be late for work on Monday morning. Enjoy these small victories while they last, because as the week drags on the Moon, Saturn, and then the Sun will all arrive in Capricorn, the sign of responsibility and achievement as well as your House of Career. Pluto is also in Capricorn now, so as the aforementioned planets join the archetype of death and transformation this is a time for you to re-examine your ambitions and direction. Make sure you haven’t become complacent in a situation that affords you comfort and perks but no longer really challenges you. Toward the end of the week when Mercury goes station/direct and briefly angles Neptune and Jupiter, take a moment to consider just how seriously you take yourself and where that falls between fabulous and not good enough as you stand at the velvet rope and wait for Mr. Saturn to let you in.

Taurus- Did you ever see the movie “Network” when the Newscaster played by Peter Finch tells people to stick their heads out the window and yell, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!” Are you anywhere near a window? As the Moon, Saturn, and the Sun go into Capricorn and Jupiter and Mars continue their march through your House of Relationships, your grumpiness may be hard to conceal, especially since a volatile, retrograde Uranus has been chained to a radiator in your subconscious for quite awhile now and the neighbors are starting to suspect something. The Lunar Arc this week will highlight the process of how you negotiate your needs in any given situation, which brings us back to the screaming out the window thing; does it need to get to that? As Mercury goes station/direct and nudges Neptune and Jupiter, stop trying to act so nice and instead start being nice to yourself, whatever that may mean and whoever may need to pay for it. “Word!” say’s Mr. Saturn.

Gemini- “Therefore send not to know For whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee.” The new Moon at the beginning of the week in your House of Relationships will be ringing in the next phase of a romantic partnership, namely commitment and responsibility. The Moon, Saturn, and the Sun will all be entering Capricorn this week and transiting through your House of Shared Resources, so maybe the time has come to make a home with that special someone? Mars and Jupiter in your House of Work slowly aligning with Neptune in your Career area might require you to manage your time between a job that pays the bills and a career that satisfies your soul. You may be frustrated at having to compromise your time, but just like the old chain gangs, Mr. Saturn would suggest you sing some blues to get you through. ”Girl we gotta get out of this place, if it’s the last thing we ever do, we gotta get out of this place, Girl there’s a better life for me and you.”

Cancer- Not that long ago you were complaining that nothing was ever going to change. Well, the time has come to quote a famous Lady who once advised in a classic film, “Buckle your seatbelts it’s going to be a bumpy night.” With the Moon, Saturn, and the Sun joining transformational Pluto in your opposite sign of Capricorn and aligning with Neptune in your House of Travels and Mars and Jupiter in your Creative area, get ready for circumstances to sweep you away into a new phase of your life. Not quite as epic as “Doctor Zhivago,” but what awaits might reveal a destiny you never suspected. Of course you’ll fret about it every step of the way because that’s what you Crabs do, yet once Mercury goes station/direct late in the week and starts to chug ahead toward Uranus don’t be surprised if these unfolding circumstances activate your higher Cancer nature and you come to a stunning realization. Home is wherever the heart is. “Duh-uh,” says Mr. Saturn before he recites your haiku.

“Faith is a haunted

House where we all search in the

Dark with a candle”

Leo- Mr. Saturn and the Sun will move into the sign of Capricorn this week to join Pluto in your House of Health. So how are you feeling? If there is anything your body is trying to tell you make sure you’re listening, because if you don’t Mr. Saturn can be part Nurse and part Sumo Wrestler if necessary to make you a willing patient. Mercury will go station/direct just before the Holiday and square Neptune, so make sure you fulfill your obligations to family. Try to be kind and put up with whatever you have to so that an older person can feel appreciated. They may not be so fabulous now, but they loved you way back when you weren’t so fabulous either. A Pisces Moon on Christmas Eve aligning with Jupiter and Mars may help you to finally see someone for who they truly are instead of who you’d like them to be. Everyone else already knows about this person so let Mr. Saturn get you another glass of wine to help lubricate your naivety through this unbelievable realization.

Virgo- Like Dorothy and her friends being nervous about meeting the Wizard of Oz, the arrival of Saturn into Capricorn and your House of Creativity may have you feeling a little edgy about how a project you’re involved with is going to turn out? Pluto, the planetary archetype of transformation, has already been in this area of your chart for a while, so if you’ve been reading the writing on the wall regarding change then Mr. Saturn will likely be about your dreams coming to fruition, albeit slowly. Just two days after Mr. Saturn arrives in his home sign the Sun will also enter Capricorn, which could help move matters along a little quicker, especially next week when Venus joins the party. Mars and Jupiter in your House of Communication will use Neptune to help spread the word, so if you’re not a success by New Years, don’t fret. Mr. Saturn says you will be the baby wearing the 2018 banner.

Libra- This might sound ominous, but your life is about to change significantly in the coming months, so get ready. The herald of this change will begin this week with none other than Mr. Saturn (Ta-da!!!) entering his home sign of Capricorn and your House of Foundations. Pluto has been there for the last few years setting the stage for this and as Jupiter and Mars in your earnings area and Neptune in the work sphere all move into alignment, the stage is being set for a Quantum Leap regarding how you’re accustomed to thinking about yourself and acting. There’s no way to prepare for this other than to try and be like the surfer who sees the ultimate wave starting to form; put your head down, paddle your ass off, and hope for the best. “Day destroys the night, Night divides the day, try to run, try to hide, Break on through to the Other Side!”

Scorpio- Jupiter and Mars together in your sign now are providing you with a lot of energy. When Saturn and the Sun move into Capricorn during the week and enter your House of Communication, all that energy should finally be finding its focus so that you will be able to advance to the next level in whatever facet of your life you’d like to see improve. Venus in your House of Earnings aligning with Uranus in your House of Work should bring you some tangible dollars and cents recognition in the workplace, either from your current boss or someone else who would like to snatch you away. You will be feeling better than you have in a while, although as Mercury station/direct squares Neptune in your House of Romance, don’t let your good vibe be taken advantage of by a potential suitor who may be offering promises and not much more. As Grace Slick once sang, don’t end up being “A woman with her Greasy Heart Automatic Man.”

Sagittarius- Okay my Centaur friend, what do you want and how much are you willing to do to get it? Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio have been causing you to grind your gears behind the scenes, but now with both Saturn and the Sun moving into Capricorn and your House of Self Worth the time has come to either put up or shut up in terms of what you think you’re capable of. Venus in your sign lining up with Uranus in your House of Fun is making you quite affable, although make sure you’re not putting yourself at a disadvantage by good naturedly agreeing to someone else’s version of you. A Mercury station/retrograde in your sign angling with Neptune will be the last writing on the wall warning you about a manipulative situation at home. After that, Mr. Saturn will have no choice except to serve you with a subpoena to appear before the Court of Common Sense on charges of Felony Gullibility…just sayin’.

Capricorn- Mr. Saturn is coming home to your sign! Are you ready? I’m sorry, that’s a dumb question, of course you’re not ready for Mr. Saturn to be back, who would be? I mean this is Mr. Saturn we’re talking about. Although with the holidays so close maybe he’ll be in a party mood for the remainder of 2017? After all, the only major planet Mr. Saturn will be hanging out with for the rest of this year will be when he shacks up with Venus on Christmas Day (Ooh la la). However, make no mistake about it, he is back and will be making sure that shit gets done. The best way to keep him off your ass would be to enlist the services of Mars and Jupiter in your House of Groups and Neptune in your House of Communication, as they are all in compatible signs and Mars and Jupiter are the kind of hardnosed pros Mr. Saturn appreciates. As a Capricorn you’re a chip off the same old block as Mr. Saturn, so just stay on course for what you’ve been intending over the last few months and enjoy a little Venus yourself over the holiday. Merry Xmas!!!

Aquarius- As Saturn and the Sun enter the hidden part of your chart you could begin to get an inkling of just how much you are driven by the paradox of wanting more because you feel like less. You won’t dwell on this very much, mainly because with Venus in your House of Groups and Uranus in your area of Communications you will be too busy working the room (or the internet) to satisfy the center of attention jones you have going on with Mars and Jupiter in your House of Career and Public Image. Eventually though the curtain will close, the show will end, and there you’ll be, not knowing what to do with yourself without the smell of the greasepaint and the roar of the crowd to give you purpose. This brief moment of alienation will come courtesy of a Mercury station squaring Neptune, although the greater ramifications of this are far too mysterious for you to seriously consider at this time. Just recall what the Oracle told Neo in the Matrix, “you’ll remember you don’t believe in any of this fate crap. You’re in control of your own life…here take a cookie, by the time you’re done eating it you’ll be right as rain.” In other words, don’t worry about it now. Mr. Saturn will be hanging out in your shadows for a while until you’re ready to deal.

Pisces- This week Mr. Saturn will enter your House of Dreams. “What does that mean?” you ask. Imagine being given a charge card with a high credit line and then indulging yourself like a Sultan and maxing it out buying everything you’ve always wanted. When that first bill eventually arrives with interest added on, well, that’s classic Mr. Saturn requiring you to be responsible for your dreams. Now do you understand? Neptune in your sign has set you up for this and Jupiter in your House of Philosophy has fostered the illusion that you’re invincible. The more mundane fact however is that you’re going to have to start being more responsible for a lot of stuff that you don’t want to make time for. Of course you’ll try to charm your way out of growing up, but that will only last as long as it takes Venus to trine Uranus, which will be over by next week. In the meantime what’s that song Mr. Saturn is singing?….”It’s my life and I’ll do what I want/ It’s my mind and I’ll think what I want….” Uh-huh.
