Mr. Saturn’s Stars #62 Weekly Horoscopes for 11/26-12/2, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 11/26-12/2, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. Thanksgiving is now in the books, which means Christmas is rapidly approaching. To quote our faithful Shih Tzu , Tinkerbell, “Fa-la-la-la-la……la-la….la…..la…….

Aries- With the Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury retrograde all traveling through your House of Philosophy and squaring Mars in Pisces behind the scenes, you may find yourself feeling a lot more introspective than usual. As the Lunar Arc progresses through your Houses of Family, Creativity, Work, and Relationships you may also find yourself inordinately concerned with bigger issues than you might usually consider, such as, “why am I here,” or “what is the ultimate meaning of my life?” With Uranus retrograde in your sign moving into an inconjunct with Mercury retrograde later in the week, you could be feeling alienated by the frivolousness you perceive in those around you. If that’s the case, then consider going on a retreat or taking a meditation class; heed that inner call.

Taurus- Mercury retrograde in your House of Relationships is in an esoteric alignment with Uranus retrograde in your House of Confinement, which could mean that you’re suddenly and unexplainably starting to feel trapped in a situation that, up until now, you’ve always thought was okay. The Sun and Jupiter in your House of Transformation could in turn have you feeling a need to escape whatever this scenario may be, especially as they both square Mars in your House of Dreams. Of course this is all probably an illusion and quite likely you’re exactly where you belong, although on the other hand there might also be a grain of truth in what you’re feeling. With that in mind, if you have an unexpected itch this week, allow yourself to scratch it so you’ll know for sure what the truth is.

Gemini- How much do you care what others think of you? As the Sun and Jupiter pass through your House of Relationships and square Mars in your House of Public Image, you could find yourself worrying a bit more than usual about how you measure up in the judgment game out there in the arena of life.  With that in mind, be careful that you don’t end up getting ju-jitsued by your own guilt, as Saturn and Pluto in dutiful Capricorn oppose the Moon passing through your House of Self Worth, making you more susceptible than usual to criticism. A word to the wise, don’t let a boss or competitor get into your head or you could end up losing sight of who you really are in the fun house of mirrors they’re projecting on you.

Cancer- This could be a week where challenges arise on the job that will seem to test your patience, although perhaps what’s really being tested is your philosophy of life. For whatever reason, you’re the one who’s been chosen to battle the dragon or soothe the resident crazy person at work and how you go about it will determine not only how the situation gets rectified, but also how you will finally end up turning a corner and leaving guilt, frustration, and a lack of confidence behind. How is all that possible, you ask? These s.o.b’s are out to get me, for sure! It is certainly true that your adversaries may not like you, but if you let Venus at your Foundation kill ‘em with kindness and Uranus in your House of Career show them what crazy like a fox is all about, then it won’t matter if they like you or not, they will respect you and that will have it’s own rewards.

Leo- When the Moon passes through your sign this week it will align beautifully with both the Sun and Jupiter in your House of Creativity, likely giving you the necessary inspiration to deal with a particularly recalcitrant person who would seem to have you where the hairs are short. Things could be tense, but Saturn aligning with Mars in your House of Transformation should give you the chutzpah and the moxie to be able to skin a skunk and still walk away smelling like a rose. The element of surprise (as well as intelligence) will also be on your side, as Uranus retrograde opposes Venus in charming Libra and you demonstrate a complete and total mastery of Zen and the Art of getting what you need. Be prepared for the future to look so bright you may need shades.

Virgo- As Mars passes through your House of Relationships to square both the Sun and Jupiter in your Home Area, things could get a little heated with a partner and/or a family member. Because all of the above planets will be in mutable signs (Pisces and Sag) any conflicts that arise will most likely blow over as quickly as they appeared. The trick of it all will be not to buy into the agenda of someone you know is a con artist (even if you love them) and with Saturn in your House of Creativity aligning nicely with Mars, you should be able to speak softly and manage this situation quite well as long as you’re carrying the big stick of reality where everyone can see it.

Libra- Charming Venus transiting through your sign is the perfect cover for you right now, but only as long as the snarky rebelliousness you’re really feeling gets directed into the proper channels. I say this because with Jupiter and the Sun in your House of Communication squaring Mars in the mutable sign of Pisces, you are no doubt feeling your oats. A bad place to direct the sort of verbal harangue these placements might indicate would be toward a fool (or God forbid, a boss) you just can’t suffer any longer, a better place would be into a creative project where righteous indignation and vitriol can pass as humor. Pick your poison correctly and you may just live to kvetch another day.

Scorpio- The Sun and Jupiter in your House of Self Worth squaring Mars in your House of Creativity may make you seem possessed this week as you try to figure out a solution for an unexpected problem at work. You’re the perfect person to work on this because you’re the only one who gives a shit, which doesn’t bother you as long as it gets you away from all the dorks you work with. Just be careful not to get lost in this as a life and death challenge; after all you could call a repairman, this isn’t “Heart of Darkness.” With that said, Saturn in your House of Ideas will be aligning nicely with Mars so you very well could carry the day and get some good brownie points with the boss as well. Go ahead, flaunt that “Yankee Ingenuity.”

Sagittarius- This week could mark a turning point for you if you can manage not to let a long time nemesis rain on your parade yet again. The Sun and Jupiter in your sign is putting more than a little pep in your step, although with Mars transiting through your House of Family such enthusiasm is exactly the kind of motivation a stick in the mud would need to mess with you by spreading their prophecies of gloom and doom. The good news is that with Saturn in your House of Self Worth managing Mars like a cowboy herding mustangs, for once you may not be de-railed by this person but will instead either laugh at them or (more likely) feel sorry for the miserable, pathetic s.o.b. they are. After all, what kind of person can only feel joy if they make someone else feel bad? Really.

Capricorn- Saturn and Pluto in your sign are likely making you feel responsible, duty bound, guilty, and probably even trapped right now, however, don’t fret, the Sun and Jupiter are rallying the crowd behind the scenes, although with Mars in your House of Local Routines squaring that crowd, you’ll probably have to settle for a quiet glass of wine after work rather than a real vacation or anything special. Venus in your House of Public Image will help you to keep up appearances despite your bad mood, while Uranus at the bottom of your chart will inspire you to turn that quiet glass of wine into a bottle (or two) behind closed doors. Just make sure you dump the empties after dark so the neighbors don’t catch on.

Aquarius- Even with the Sun and Jupiter transiting your House of Dreams and causing you to pretend you’re unstoppable, the reality is that Mars in your House of Self Worth is literally frightening you to death, which is not necessarily a bad thing if the motivation of fight or flight turns into you getting what you want. Venus in your House of Philosophy opposing Uranus retrograde in your House of Thinking is causing a confrontation between the optimist and pessimist within you, while Mercury retrograde backing up into your House of Career is helping you to realize that the light you’re hoping for at the end of the tunnel will only be arrived at by passing through the darkness first.  As a poet once wrote, “Do not go gentle into that good night…Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

Pisces- The Sun and Jupiter in your House of Career has you looking toward the mountaintop, while Mars in your sign is presenting you with the immediate challenge of how to begin the journey. Saturn in your House of Groups would suggest you reach out for some help from someone with more experience, perhaps an individual who has already climbed their own Matterhorn. Venus passing through your House of Transformation and Shared Resources would clearly re-iterate this partnership theme, while Uranus retrograde in your House of Self Worth would suggest not having too many expectations of what you need to learn until you actually learn it.

Special Uranus Entering Taurus Edition

My soul is from elsewhere, I’m sure of that, and I intend to end up there.”

-Rumi

Hi kids!!! Are you ready for something completely unexpected? Well buckle your seat belts because Uranus is changing his Astrological base of operations this week for the first time in approximately 8 years! Let’s take a look at what that might mean for each of the 12 Zodiac Signs for the rest of the coming year.

An Overview of Uranus in Taurus

It takes approximately 84 years for Uranus to travel around the entire Zodiac, meaning that it will spend roughly 7 years transiting through each sign. The last time that Uranus was in the sign of Taurus was during the period between June 7, 1934 and May 15, 1942, at which time the world witnessed the rise of fascism in Europe that eventually lead to the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939.

In looking back, the volatility of the events that occurred during the last time Uranus was in Taurus makes perfect sense when one considers that Taurus is a Fixed Earth sign usually associated with the status quo, while Uranus is a planet whose archetypal symbolism is commonly linked to resistance, rebellion, revolution, and the unexpected. In other words, Uranus entering Taurus would be a perfect example of an irresistible force meeting an immovable object. With this in mind, it can only make one shudder to contemplate the current World situation with such a volatile planet returning once again to such a complacent sign. For example, there are the ongoing tensions between Syria, Iran, and Israel in the Middle East, the chest thumping between North Korea and the U.S. involving the former country’s Nuclear Weapons Program, as well as the impending Constitutional Crisis facing us here in the U.S. as our current President and his associates face the possibility of criminal charges. And if all of that weren’t enough, there is also the situation here at home where the policies of our government seem to be driven by the exact same sort of dark xenophobia, racism, sexism, and fascism, that existed in Nazi Germany during the 1930’s when Uranus was last in Taurus.  If we like to think of ourselves as the leading country of the world, exactly where will be leading the rest of the globe once Uranus starts to work its inevitable Chaos Magick on us all?

Uranus as an Archetype

Because Uranus predominantly represents that which is unexpected and ultimately uncontrollable, it is often hard to determine exactly how the affects of this volatile planet will be felt.

In my experience Uranus usually provides whatever is necessary to shock us out of our complacency. For instance, if you’re naturally an adventurous person Uranus may bring about disastrous results to your usual carefree actions as a way of teaching you to be more responsible (if that seems contradictory then welcome to the world of Uranus). On the other hand, if you’re an overly cautious person then Uranus may instead throw a wrench in the works that will force you to improvise in the face of unforeseen circumstances.

As an archetype Uranus represents the opposite of the control and organization usually associated with Saturn. It is therefore interesting to note that as Uranus enters the sign of Taurus it will be approaching a positive alignment with Saturn, which is currently retrograde in the sign of Capricorn. This alignment will find both of these planets in stable Earth Signs (Taurus and Capricorn) and though their aspect to one another will not be exact at this time, they will come within 1 degree of each other as Saturn approaches its station/direct period and Uranus approaches a station/retrograde. It is my opinion that during this coming summer all of us to some degree or other will see our comfort zones forcibly expanded and, as a result, both our anxiety and creativity levels will probably end up rising simultaneously. Effectively this represents the cauldron of evolution at its spiciest, so get ready for your reality to be served up piping hot, whether you like it or not.

How Will Uranus in Taurus Affect Each Sign in 2018?

During 2018 Uranus will be in the sign of Taurus from May 15 to November 6 before it passes back into the Sign of Aries, where it will remain until March 6 of 2019. Even though it is just a few days short of 6 months, the initial transit of Uranus into Taurus in 2018 will nevertheless be a valuable harbinger of what we can look forward to as the planet of the unexpected continues its engagement with us over the next 8 years.

Aries- The entrance of Uranus into your House of Self Worth will signal the start of an inner revolution that could either lead you forward to maturity and success, or back into the rebellious follies of youth where your insecurities get dressed up as a disdain for things you only pretend not to care about. A lot of how this will play out will no doubt have to do with Saturn’s position in your House of Career and Public Image, which will likely present you with both the lessons and punishments of authority. How you negotiate this whole process will depend to a great extent on whether you’re looking at it from the position of an adult or a smart-ass kid: either way it’s up to you. Money could also come quite unexpectedly at this time, just make sure that you invest a decent amount of whatever windfalls may arrive rather than just spending it all like a drunken sailor.

Taurus- Not only will Uranus enter your sign this week but there will also be a New Moon in Taurus as well, meaning that if anybody is talking about you they’re also “Talkin’ about a Revolution” (although more along the lines of a revolution in style rather than Concord Green or The Bastille).  At first this revolution stuff might feel awkward because you really are a peaceful soul who just wants everyone to feel safe and comfortable, however, with Uranus acting like a red flag that’s meant to turn the motherly cow in you into a raging bull ready to charge ahead, you might end up scaring not only yourself but others as well. Moving to a far off place could also be a distinct possibility, which very well might be healthy in the long run as long you don’t totally abandon all caution to the wind. In other words, don’t get too carried away by the crowd yelling , “Ole’’, only to find out that they weren’t rooting for the bull but the matador and you’re stuck….ouch!

Gemini- Uranus will be slipping behind the scenes in your chart when it enters into Taurus, which could turn out to be either an angel or a devil whispering in your ear depending on what your anxiety level is at that particular moment. Saturn will be in your House of Transformation at the same time, meaning a review of your control and/or boundary issues will likely be going on that could put you on a real emotional roller coaster as you struggle with how to play with the other children so that everyone has fun and not just you or them. Joint finances with a partner could also become an issue, with one or both of you possibly experiencing a change of income. Remember, it’s easy to think of a Uranian shock as threatening until you see what previously unknown super powers it brings out in you. Surprise!!!

Cancer- When Uranus moves into Taurus it will be entering your House of Groups and Friends, which could signal both sudden endings and beginnings as some familiar people unexpectedly leave your life and new ones arrive to take their place. Saturn will also be in your House of Partnerships at this time, so even though some of these departures may leave you feeling either sad or wronged, the truth is that in order to insure your long-term positive growth all of these people who disappeared had to go in order for more beneficial individuals to enter your life. The House in your chart where Uranus will be entering during its stint in Taurus is also sometimes referred to as the House of Dreams, so realize as well that if you’re willing to let go of what no longer works in your life you could inadvertently be setting the stage for some long held fantasies to finally come true. What may have seemed familiar and comfortable in the past might actually have turned into what is blocking some real luck from finding you now.

Leo- If you haven’t noticed the writing on the wall yet then Uranus entering your House of Career may just have to get your ass fired or have the company you work for go out of business so that you’ll be motivated to find a better situation. I know it’s a shock, but that’s how Uranus rolls and with Saturn backing him up from your House of Work you need to understand you were not long for this situation anyway. It may have once filled a need, but now Uranus is going to show you some brand new needs you didn’t even realize you had! This is called evolution and with growth comes growing pains, so get ready to deal with something you have previously avoided like it was a disease, namely responsibility. Maybe Uranus is ripping you from your comfortable womb so that you can be born into your true destiny? After all, if you’ve failed at settling for being unsuccessful then there’s nothing for you to lose, so pay the ticket and take the ride. You’re off to see the Wizard!

Virgo- Jelaluddin Rumi (the author of this weeks quote for Mr. Saturn #36) was a successful scholar until he met the wandering Dervish Shams of Tabriz, whereby he had his head and heart turned around and ended up becoming perhaps the World’s greatest Mystical Poet. I tell you this because when Uranus enters Taurus it will be moving into your House of Philosophy (and aligning with Saturn in your House of Creativity) where it will perhaps do for you what Shams did for Rumi. Of course there’s a flip side to this, while Rumi left what he thought were his responsibilities behind in order to follow his new love, he nevertheless found out quickly enough that the freedom Shams was offering required him to be even more responsible because now he was harmonizing with the whole Universe and not just his own little ego and the demands of others. In other words, Uranus will be opening up your world, are you ready for the experience and, no doubt, the extra work and responsibility?

Libra- From where do our thoughts originate? We each experience consciousness, but what is it? Certainly our intuition and inspiration are not just from the fleshy pulp inside our heads? Uranus will be entering your House of Death and Transformation this week, so expect that whatever you thought about life leading up to this moment will not be the same afterwards. The House of Transformation represents our individual link to the regenerative energy of the Universe, a power that is also at the root of money, sex, and creativity. Therefore, have the courage to embrace whatever you feel you need to do. As long as you are honest and honor the process you have embarked upon, you and yours will manage to get whatever you need, you just won’t know how or when until you do. This could be quite harrowing, but there you have it. Uranus is a Cosmic Joker for sure, but for this part of your life he’ll be laughing with you, not at you. If you manage not to be frightened of the unknown, you could be quite successful.

Scorpio- As Uranus enters your House of Partnerships and aligns with Saturn in your House of Communication, expect the way you usually deal with people to be entirely transformed. Because Uranus has an uncanny way of getting in our faces, at the start of this transit it may seem as though your normal boundaries are being assaulted. At first this may surprise you, but whatever your natural reaction may be, just let it happen and then make careful note of the results. One of the things you may discover is how much you inadvertently acquiesce to the will of others (this may be especially true with family members). Uranus’s M.O. is to put us in situations where we are forced to be ourselves because nothing else will work. Of course there is also the possibility that certain relationships may end during this period, maybe even some you thought were rock solid. If that’s turns out to be the case, perhaps what you mistook for solidity was really just the other person’s inflexible expectations about who you should be regardless of how you may feel about it. In short, get ready to meet some new friends (and lovers) who will like you for who you are and not for what you can do for them.

Sagittarius- Uranus will be entering your House of Work so get ready for some big changes on the job front. There are so many things wrong there right now that it’s hard to say which straw will be the one that breaks the camel’s back. Saturn is in your House of Self Worth, so at the risk of stating the obvious I would probably venture to say you’re most likely not getting paid anywhere near what you’re worth. This is more than a little bit your fault, mostly because you’re overqualified for where you are and all the underachievers who surround you know that all they have to do is play stupid and you’ll fix whatever it is. Accept that the time has come to be driven from your comfort zone in the same way that babies have to be born, simply because there is no longer any space left for growth. Uranus is in good aspect to Saturn now, so make sure you are paying special attention to all the insights that are starting to flit through your head like butterflies. Once upon a time they were caterpillars just like you.

Capricorn- Sometimes creating something can be a leisurely affair, but more often than not our creativity ends up being stimulated by unexpected circumstances whose primary purpose is to move us along on our evolutionary path. With Uranus transiting through your House of Creativity you will likely be bombarded by, discover, and even at times trip over more ideas and insights than you can likely imagine at this point, which just means life will probably be more hectic and stimulating than you probably think you can handle. Well don’t you believe it! We only use a fraction of our consciousness in our daily life and if we can increase that by merely another fraction we’d be entering into the realm of Saints and Geniuses. Are you ready to be part of that select group? Are you ready for something completely different? As the Monty Python Boys used to say, “No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!!!” No one expects their enlightenment either until one day they realize that it’s been inside them all along.

Aquarius- As Uranus enters into the lowest area of your chart, (otherwise known as the House of Symbolic Foundations) get ready for your world to start spinning around like a pack of first graders playing musical chairs after being fed too much sugar. There’ll be pushing and giggling, maybe one of them will even stumble, and then it will all be fun and games until someone pokes out an eye. Of course if there’s a responsible teacher present it doesn’t have to play out that way, which is precisely the role Mr. Saturn will play as he observes through the door like the Principal passing by out in the hallway. I have used this grade school metaphor because the unexpected qualities associated with Uranus can make us all feel like children trapped in a mysterious and frightening world where no one knows what will happen next. Keep in mind though that Uranus is the ruler of your sign, so if there’s anyone who can roll with the unexpected it’s you Aquarian folk, especially since you inflict the rest of us with your natural Uranian presences as often as you can get away with it. Still, don’t be surprised by anything that may happen now, up to and including a cross country move, a complete career change, or even an unexpected divorce or marriage as Uranus stampedes through your life like a herd of cattle.

Pisces- We are all limited by what we think until something happens that requires us to use a new part of our brain. Some people would call this process living a creative or even a mystical life, while others might diagnose such a frame of mind as being delusional or even insane. Depending on what you believe, here comes Uranus entering into your House of Thinking and Ideas where you’re about to experience first hand what Alice felt as she tumbled down the rabbit hole. Up will be down and left will be right and things you’ve never seen before will suddenly seem eerily familiar as your true self emerges out of a mundane world of limited opinions and into a Universe of true knowledge and experience. During this time Saturn will be passing through your House of Groups and Friends, so as this strange trip continues you will discover the usefulness of your uniqueness and the practicality of your mistakes. And of course, things will just keep getting curiouser and curiouser.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #25 Weekly Horoscopes for 2/26-3/4, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 2/26 – 3/4, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. In case you didn’t know, I am a New Yorker and proud of the fact that “assault weapons” are banned in our state. I <3 NY

Aries- A word to the wise; you may be your own worst enemy this week so if you’re feeling antsy try counting to 10 (or 100 if necessary) to prevent your natural impetuousness from ignoring the writing on the wall that’s telling you to take it slow and go with the flow. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Career are making sure you’re moving along steadily like the little engine that could, yet it’s Mars in Sagittarius squaring a whole crowd of Pisces planets behind the scenes that has you not trusting that the limits confronting you now are there for a reason. Your animal totem is the Ram, so you naturally associate strength with the ability to relentlessly forge ahead without a break, however, with Venus in your House of Psychic Power aligning with Jupiter, the time has come for you to learn about “The Voice of the Silence,” that awareness which enables one to hear their inner wisdom, “just as the form to which the clay is modeled, is first united with the potter’s mind.”

Taurus- As a Fixed Earth Sign you certainly have your control issues, however, the time has come for you to realize that the need for control is really just a lack of trust in your ability to creatively adjust to a situation. A bunch of Pisces Planets in your House of Dreams no doubt have you fantasizing about your ambitions, yet in the meantime Saturn and Pluto in your House of Philosophy and Jupiter in Your House of Partnerships are trying to remind you that there are certain responsibilities to be performed first if you really hope to succeed. Of course now you’ll probably start feeling guilty (and lazy) about what you’re not doing, meaning that Mars in your House of Legacies will likely be the ultimate determinant here as it squares the aforementioned dreamy Pisces Planets and scares you into action. Three cheers for negative reinforcement, though it can be quite exhausting. Just make sure you get your rest after making this whole business of wanting something a lot harder than it needs to be.

Gemini- For a Mutable Air Sign known for being adaptable, you can certainly find yourself in some real power plays where you end up proving just how stubborn you can really be. For instance, if there is something that you want (or need) from a current partner or a colleague, why don’t you just try asking them directly instead of frustrating yourself by waiting for them to figure it out. You can be righteous and say they should know without you telling them, but what is that kind of attitude on your part really about? The need to always be viewed as a nice person often ends up with you not being nice to yourself and that’s ultimately no one’s fault but your own. The Lunar Arc this week will traverse your Houses of Communication, Symbolic Foundations, and Creativity, so pay special attention to saying what you mean and meaning what you say and then be willing to allow the chips to fall where they may.

Cancer- Mr. Saturn likes to say, “Luck is about who you are, not what you do.” Venus in your House of Philosophy this week aligning harmoniously with Jupiter in your House of Creativity will reinforce these words of wisdom from Mr. Saturn, but only if you’re willing to listen and go after what you want without all the doubt you normally like to sabotage yourself with ahead of time. Venus will also be aligning with Pluto this week as well, so whatever difficulties you have been going through expect to rise from the ashes like the proverbial Phoenix and move toward those glorious horizons you have been envisioning for yourself and your loved ones. If your health has been a burden as of late, make sure you take the time to rest, not only to help your body heal but also to soothe your nerves. The Lunar Arc this week will see the Moon pass through your Houses of Self Worth, Thinking, and Symbolic Foundations, meaning that whatever bad habits you’re willing to let go of now could allow you to experience that “Unbearable Lightness of Being” you’ve always dreamed would be part of your destiny.

Leo- As a Fixed Fire Sign you can have some really strange notions about the world, yet has it ever occurred to you that some of these ideas may actually illustrate how you feel about yourself rather than what the world is like? With this in mind, a bad situation may ultimately be about what you’re not doing for yourself rather than any malice being directed at you. Mars in your House of Creativity is likely frustrating you right now, however don’t assume it’s because of a lack of opportunity. To truly be creative often means having to manifest something out of nothing, which is ultimately an indication of how you feel about yourself rather than the materials that may or may not be at hand. With an abundance of mutable planets in your chart at this time your level of success will ultimately depend upon how much you’re willing to let yourself be transformed by the challenges life presents you, rather than trying to maintain a stance that is more about your ego than your evolution.

Virgo- You may be feeling cornered this week in regards to some mixed messages you’re receiving from a partner. You don’t have to be a mind reader to already know this person can be insecure and stubborn, yet what’s probably more important for you at this time is to ask yourself exactly what you want and need from this relationship. Going tit for tat with this individual is a flat waste of your time simply because it allows them to draw a line in the sand and justify whatever it is they believe. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Creativity is all about you determining the rules of engagement for this situation, which means do what you need to do and let this person have their learning experience about just how much control one person can be allowed over another. If you’re truly coming from a place of what’s fair and you sincerely have love in your heart, then as Jupiter trines Venus this week the two of you could experience a very positive turning point in this relationship.

Libra- If you think you can detach from the emotional changes that are happening to those you care for, then you probably don’t understand the gravity of your situation. With Saturn and Pluto moving ever so slowly through your House of Symbolic Foundations, it’s important for you to realize that the whole world is transforming and in the near future your comfort zone is also going to be obliterated like a sandcastle being swept away by the incoming tide. Jupiter in your House of Self Worth aligning with Venus in your House of Daily Routines and Work could be the silver lining in this current storm cloud, provided you can go with the flow and are willing to take one for the team. You’re not in this alone, therefore realize how important it is that you respect those close to you and the sacrifices they have made so you all can get through this challenging time together. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

The first way is “me,”

The second, “you,” the third, “we,”

The fourth, “what to do?”

Scorpio- Your intuition is particularly sharp now, especially in terms of knowing what will be successful in regards to a creative or work project you have been given control of. Opinions are like noses, everybody has one, except right now you can really smell where the roses of success are blooming so make sure you don’t let yourself get distracted by the cheap perfume of a hater’s ego. Venus and Mercury aligning with Jupiter in your sign this week should help to put you in the right place at the right time and with the addition of Pluto in your House of Communication and Thinking and Mars in your House of Earnings, your performance, leadership, and insights should bring you some well deserved rewards. Make sure you enjoy these victor’s spoils with that special someone who was willing to wait patiently in the wings while you were out conquering the world.

Sagittarius- Your success this week may hinge on what you don’t do rather than what you feel compelled to do, especially if you’re acting out of guilt or from pressure being exerted on you by someone else. Mars in your sign now will be providing a lot of energy, just make sure that this power source doesn’t turn you into an obsessive-compulsive who can be manipulated by anyone that is able to hone in on your insecurities and approval issues. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Self Worth should help with keeping you focused, although as I began by saying, perhaps this focus should be more on recognizing what you shouldn’t be doing rather than what your insecurities or someone else’s guilt trip are compelling you to do. Refuse to be held hostage by anyone who is reminding you of your past mistakes. Mr. Saturn has a haiku for you this week;

“Regret is fear of

What needs to be done next placed

In the wrong context”

Capricorn- With Saturn and Pluto in your sign “The times they are a-changin’”…and with The Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Neptune in the sign of Pisces and the House governing your mental abilities, your consciousness is evolving as well. If there’s a problem existing here it would have to be Mars behind the scenes in Sagittarius attempting to pollute any new found wisdom you may have recently acquired with some all too familiar paranoid blasts from the past. Believe the messages provided to you now as Jupiter in your House of Dreams and Groups trines Venus and you receive tangible feedback that you are an important person to those you are surrounded by. Let the cheers of your supporters elevate you to meet the necessary challenges ahead.

Aquarius- Saturn and Pluto behind the scenes are currently reminding you of what still needs to be done in your career, which is probably making you feel like you’re falling behind. The mark of an advanced person (and you certainly fancy yourself one) is that they hear criticism as encouragement if it motivates them to take action. That’s the high side of this Saturn/Pluto transit so make sure you get on it. Jupiter aligning harmoniously with Venus in your House of Earnings this week could bring you an unexpected windfall or gift that could help you hear that Saturn/Pluto chatter with a bit less worry. Mars moving into aspect with Uranus in your House of Communication could be either a stroke of genius or some self-destructive rebelliousness, therefore think twice before you let your freak flag fly right now if you have hopes of eventually unfurling it from the highest mountaintop. Nuff said!!!

Pisces- With the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and Neptune in your sign and all of them aligning with Jupiter in your House of Philosophy, this could be a time of great insight, especially in areas that previously had either confused you or were of no particular consequence due to a lack of experience. These situations have probably come about because you have either been cornered by circumstances that are requiring you to do something different, or else your own ambitions have lead you to specific obstacles that must be overcome in order to succeed. Either way Mars in your House of Career and Uranus in your House of Self Worth will be pushing you to rise to the occasion and make your creative ambitions a tangible reality. Meanwhile, Saturn and Pluto in your House of Dreams will motivate you to be more thorough, responsible, and dependable toward others than you ever have before. This could be your time little fishy so stroke….stroke…..

Saturn Enters Capricorn 12/19/2017

On December 19th, 2017 at 11:48 p.m. EST Saturn will return to its home sign of Capricorn for the first time since February 6, 1991 (approximately 26 years ago).

Make no mistake about it this is a big deal. Why? Because it takes Saturn approximately 28 years to circle the zodiac so that one revolution of Saturn around the Sun is roughly equal to a generation of people growing to maturity, and growing up, either literally or figuratively, is always a big deal. There are also many who believe Saturn is the most powerful of the planets, due in large part to the fact that the evidence seems to show Mr. Saturn consistently changes the energies of the other archetypes more than they appear to cramp his style. That he’s returning now to his home turf simply means Saturn should be that much more powerful over the next 3 years. As a result, it’s likely we’ll witness the chickens coming home to roost in a great many situations where irresponsible behavior and/or outright neglect have created problems that can no longer be ignored.

The standard interpretation of the Saturnian archetype is that it represents authority in all its forms. Your parents, teachers, coaches, government officials, anyone with a title, a badge, or a uniform, from your boss at work to the President of the United States, are all examples of the Saturn energy. He is also symbolic of the society at large, in fact according to the Greeks, during the Golden Age of Man Saturn was the King of the Gods who ruled the earth like a strict father before his more liberal son Zeus forcibly usurped the throne.

On a personal level Saturn is cold, harsh, analytical, oppressive, and rigid. Although to his credit he can also be fair, diligent, strong, organized, efficient, and insightful. In my weekly horoscopes entitled Mr. Saturn’s Stars I like to portray him as being snarky, sarcastic, smart, wise, eloquent, and cool like Clint Eastwood when Dirty Harry decides to shoot someone down with a one liner instead of a bullet from his 44 Magnum.

The bottom line is that Saturn has no patience with bullshit in any form. When he arrives in an area of your natal chart Saturn’s transit will bring about change and restructuring according to what is best for the overall truth and balance of the situation. Saturn does not care one iota for your comfort zone or, for that matter, the illusions of a society that has fallen out of balance or become self-destructive. For the United States this is especially poignant, as over the last year we have watched our Democracy erode under the pressure of greed and special interests to the point where we seriously face the possibility of losing many of the rights and powers our nation’s founders thought to be “self-evident.”

Saturn and the U.S. in 2017

Our 45th President was elected when the Sun was in Scorpio trine Neptune (power, secrecy, illusion) and Saturn was in late Sagittarius trine Uranus. During that time the passion of rebellion against the status quo represented by idealistic Uranus (and manipulated by #45 in his Presidential campaign) served to obscure and somewhat miss-direct Saturn’s usual sense of objective responsibility, which was significantly compromised by the Planet of Structure’s position in the wooly and often self-absorbed sign of Sagittarius. In other words, the propensity of the Sag energy to believe whatever it wants was in full bloom when a shady Real Estate developer was elected to our country’s highest office instead of someone we thought would drain the swamp of corruption in Washington D.C.. Now that Saturn is returning to its well-structured and austere home of Capricorn it will seem much more in character, like a ruthlessly efficient cop who has been summoned to answer a complaint about the out of control frat party currently going on in the White House. Mark my words, in 2018 Saturn will be kicking asses and taking names.

For the remainder of 2017 Saturn’s aspects will serve more as table setters rather than providing a meal of any real substance. Other than aspects to a Lunar Arc of Pisces, Aries, and Taurus, the only major planet Saturn will meet with before the New Year will be when it conjuncts Venus on Christmas Day. Enjoy your illusions and comforts while you can, the Revolution will be coming soon enough and this time it will be televised!

Saturn’s Aspects to the Major Planets in 2018

(Excluding the Moon) as it transits from 1- 11 degrees Capricorn

January- The only aspect Saturn will have this month is a conjunction with Mercury in Capricorn (Jan 12). Communications around this time will be pragmatic, practical, and limited to the facts. This is a good time to put together a business strategy, though the downside might be a decided lack of imagination or adventure. There will be a tendency during the couple of days that surround this aspect for people and organizations to be real sticklers regarding rules and regulations.

February- During this month Saturn will have its craggy shoreline washed 3 times by planets transiting through the watery sign of Pisces. On the 16th a Venus/Moon conjunction in the sign of the fishes will represent a decidedly humanitarian energy filled with compassion and peacefulness as it looks to Saturn for both institutional support and protection. Between the 21st and the 26th Mercury and the Sun will both aspect Saturn and perhaps attempt some sleight of hand designed to soften (or perhaps even confuse) the planet of structure. This is also a time during which people could become more vocal than usual about their feelings.

March- During this month Saturn will begin a series of recurring aspects with Mercury that will extend over the next 4 months. A square to Mercury in Aries On the 10th, followed by another square to Venus in Aries on the 13th and to the Sun in Aries on the 29th , could make this a month of ongoing disagreements as the aggressive ram impetuously squares off against Capricornian structure. Tradition will likely hold sway here against any rebellious or renegade influences trying to influence the status quo, however, in true Aries style expect whatever the topic is to be revisited next month during Mercury retrograde.

April- This will be Mr. Saturn’s busiest month as he engages in 6 major aspects as well as going station/retrograde on the 17th. The first aspect is a conjunction with Mars on the 2nd, which could initially represent an obstacle or a very restrictive influence, especially since Mercury retrograde in Aries, revisiting the square from last month, will follow it on the 5th. A trine of Saturn conjunct the Moon to Venus in Taurus on the 7th should offer some much needed stability, changing the previously mentioned Mars/Saturn aspect from one where things seemed to be stuck to that of a more flowing situation where matters will instead feel more solid and organized. A third square between Saturn (now retrograde) and Mercury in Aries (now direct) will occur on the 25, followed by a trine to the Sun in Taurus on the 29th. The ongoing debate between Mr. Saturn and Mercury should be mostly sorted out by this time as the initial push and pull between the Ram and the Goat has, for the time being, transformed into a new understanding that should allow both of these Creatures to board a symbolic “Noah’s Arc” of temporary agreement as it sails off toward next month’s challenges.

May- The only aspect Mr. Saturn will have this month is a trine to Mercury in Taurus on the 18th. The upheaval between Saturn and Mercury of the previous month seems to have stabilized for the time being, although this is probably because a rather myopic and comfort oriented Mercury in Taurus just doesn’t want to rock the boat right now.

June- Mr. Saturn has a pair of aspects this month. The first is an opposition to emotional Mercury in Cancer on the 15th and the second is an opposition to the Sun in Cancer on the 27th. While Cancer is a sign associated with nurturing and the home, it can also be quite a combative sign (like its totem the Crab) if its well being or home base is in any way threatened. With this month’s aspects we are offered a classic illustration of the differences between emotional attachment and emotional detachment. For example, where Mercury had been aggressive when it initially squared Mr. Saturn from Aries, now it is on the defensive as it opposes him from sensitive and protective Cancer.

July- This is another month where Mr. Saturn has only one aspect and it is a sextile to Venus in Virgo on the 14th. In the harsher aspects between Mr. Saturn and the Goddess of Love such as a square or an opposition, Saturn will restrict the charisma and attractiveness of Venus, however, in a more flowing aspect such as a sextile or trine the two will combine for stability and longevity although the romance usually associated with Venus can often be lost. It should also be kept in mind that in the sign of Virgo Venus is the Virgin, meaning that even thought this is a flowing aspect Saturn will still remain a restrictive and controlling influence. As a result, in this situation the relationship between these two will be more like that of a father and daughter rather than as equal partners.

August- The aspects this month begin on the 11th with a square to Venus in Libra, a more progressive and liberated sign than the Goddess of Love was in last month in Virgo. Now a suffragette rather than a virgin, Venus will have her work cut out for her as she challenges Mr. Saturn who, as previously cited, will try to restrict her like a chaperone or a father. On the 13th Saturn will enter into an extended trine with a retrograde Uranus in Taurus that will last for approximately the next month. While Saturn and Uranus are essentially opposite energies (structure and rebellion respectively) the fact that they they are each in an earth sign would serve to elevate their interaction above that of mere confrontation or rebellion to something more along the lines evolution and transformation. The last aspect Mr. Saturn will have this month is a trine to the Sun in Virgo on the 25th, likely representing a fact finding mission intent on stabilizing any advancements currently going on with futuristic Uranus.

September- After Mr. Saturn ends his retrograde period and goes direct on the 5th, the first conversation he will have this month consists of a flowing trine with pragmatic Mercury in Virgo on the 7th. The element of earth common to both of the signs these planets are transiting through should make this a productive and flowing relationship as the troubleshooting abilities of Mercury in Virgo are well suited to the stability of Saturn in Capricorn. The next aspect for Mr. Saturn is a sextile to a Femme Fatale Venus in Scorpio on the 12th. The common element between the participants here is a desire for control as we see a manipulative and desirous Feminine energy harmonizing with a dominant masculine one. Together both of these “A” types should get what they each want (at least for now). The extended trine between Saturn and Uranus retrograde that has gone on for the past month will end for the time being on the 14th. At this point we have seen the seeds for new structures officially sown, leaving it now up to time and tide to show us how these seeds may grow in the future. Mr. Saturn will aspect Mercury once again this month on the 23rd, although this time the messenger planet will be in the balanced sign of Libra. It is likely Mr. Saturn will get his way in this situation, but not without an eloquent and balanced Mercury raising some annoying (and likely true) counter points. The last aspect of the month will be a square with the Sun in Libra on the 25th. Where earlier Mr. Saturn could pull rank over the objections of pesky Mercury in Libra, the Sun in Libra would represent another matter entirely. Here the planet of structure must acknowledge some necessary compromises with an equally strong energy like the Sun if the situation is to grow and be a benefit to all who are involved.

October- We are now in the season of Scorpio and during this month Mr. Saturn will be conversing with three major planets in the sign of death and transformation. The first is Mercury on the 12th, who as a keeper of confidences and secrets in this sign, likely has some information to benefit Mr. Saturn. The second aspect will be another encounter with Venus as the Femme Fatale on the 24th, although this time she will be in retrograde and likely want to revisit the conditions of their steamy (and power driven) alliance from the previous month. The final meeting for Mr. Saturn in October will be with the Sun on the 27th. This is power brokering pure and simple and Mr. Saturn will be expected to deliver on anything he promised in good faith to the Sun in Libra last month.

November– Mr. Saturn has one aspect this month and it will be with his chief strategist,  General Mars, in the intuitive and visionary sign Pisces on the 28th. Usually known as the Planet of Structure, Saturn can also be about expansion as well. Not in a broad and dramatic fashion like Jupiter, or in an explosive way like Uranus, but slow and steady like a glacier representing the coming of a new age. Look for Mr. Saturn to reinforce his interests this month as he brainstorms with Mars and prepares for his final meeting at the end of the year with Venus dressed up as a black widow in Scorpio.

December- Mr. Saturn’s last meeting in 2018 will be with a now direct Venus in Scorpio on December 16th. Like Mr. and Mrs. Frank Underwood in House of Cards, this union of Mr. Saturn with the darker side of Venus is all about power and intrigue. This may sound ominous, but not to worry. As the year closes and we see the corrupt, old guard dug up and the seeds for a new, progressive order sown, it is important for Mr. Saturn to come to terms with this deliciously corrupt Lady in order for the transition of power to be effective. To help in understanding this interaction of Saturn with Venus, it would do well to consider the sage advice of the venerable Master Yoda when he advised the young Luke Skywalker of the practical need to “embrace his dark side.”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #15 Weekly Horoscopes for 12/18-12/24, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 12/18 – 12/24, 2017

Hi kids!!! Welcome back once again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

For any of you out there who aren’t feeling all this Christmas hype there is an alternative holiday one can celebrate at this time of year if you’re interested. December 17th – 23rd is the annual Feast of Saturnalia, an Ancient Roman holiday that honored the God Saturn (who, by the way, I’m officially related to according to Ancestry.com).

Unlike the crass commercialism and corny trappings of Christmas, Saturnalia featured all kinds of freaky stuff. There was role reversal and behavioral license, like Masters serving Slaves at the celebration banquet, Slaves being able to gamble with their Master’s or even disobey them without fearing punishment, and of course lots of Free Love. According to one source, “Rampant overeating and drunkenness became the rule and a sober person the exception.” My Great, great, great, great Granddad really knew how to throw a party, didn’t he? So, if you’d prefer to abandon social norms this holiday season instead of conforming as usual, then join the conga line to the Temple of Saturn nearest you and debauch de-year away!

Aries- With the New Moon, Venus, and Saturn in Sag to start the week and all of them aligning with Uranus in your sign, you will no doubt be feeling invincible, or at least fairly lucky if you can manage to do something like be on the platform at the same time as the train pulls into the station so you won’t be late for work on Monday morning. Enjoy these small victories while they last, because as the week drags on the Moon, Saturn, and then the Sun will all arrive in Capricorn, the sign of responsibility and achievement as well as your House of Career. Pluto is also in Capricorn now, so as the aforementioned planets join the archetype of death and transformation this is a time for you to re-examine your ambitions and direction. Make sure you haven’t become complacent in a situation that affords you comfort and perks but no longer really challenges you. Toward the end of the week when Mercury goes station/direct and briefly angles Neptune and Jupiter, take a moment to consider just how seriously you take yourself and where that falls between fabulous and not good enough as you stand at the velvet rope and wait for Mr. Saturn to let you in.

Taurus- Did you ever see the movie “Network” when the Newscaster played by Peter Finch tells people to stick their heads out the window and yell, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!” Are you anywhere near a window? As the Moon, Saturn, and the Sun go into Capricorn and Jupiter and Mars continue their march through your House of Relationships, your grumpiness may be hard to conceal, especially since a volatile, retrograde Uranus has been chained to a radiator in your subconscious for quite awhile now and the neighbors are starting to suspect something. The Lunar Arc this week will highlight the process of how you negotiate your needs in any given situation, which brings us back to the screaming out the window thing; does it need to get to that? As Mercury goes station/direct and nudges Neptune and Jupiter, stop trying to act so nice and instead start being nice to yourself, whatever that may mean and whoever may need to pay for it. “Word!” say’s Mr. Saturn.

Gemini- “Therefore send not to know For whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee.” The new Moon at the beginning of the week in your House of Relationships will be ringing in the next phase of a romantic partnership, namely commitment and responsibility. The Moon, Saturn, and the Sun will all be entering Capricorn this week and transiting through your House of Shared Resources, so maybe the time has come to make a home with that special someone? Mars and Jupiter in your House of Work slowly aligning with Neptune in your Career area might require you to manage your time between a job that pays the bills and a career that satisfies your soul. You may be frustrated at having to compromise your time, but just like the old chain gangs, Mr. Saturn would suggest you sing some blues to get you through. ”Girl we gotta get out of this place, if it’s the last thing we ever do, we gotta get out of this place, Girl there’s a better life for me and you.”

Cancer- Not that long ago you were complaining that nothing was ever going to change. Well, the time has come to quote a famous Lady who once advised in a classic film, “Buckle your seatbelts it’s going to be a bumpy night.” With the Moon, Saturn, and the Sun joining transformational Pluto in your opposite sign of Capricorn and aligning with Neptune in your House of Travels and Mars and Jupiter in your Creative area, get ready for circumstances to sweep you away into a new phase of your life. Not quite as epic as “Doctor Zhivago,” but what awaits might reveal a destiny you never suspected. Of course you’ll fret about it every step of the way because that’s what you Crabs do, yet once Mercury goes station/direct late in the week and starts to chug ahead toward Uranus don’t be surprised if these unfolding circumstances activate your higher Cancer nature and you come to a stunning realization. Home is wherever the heart is. “Duh-uh,” says Mr. Saturn before he recites your haiku.

“Faith is a haunted

House where we all search in the

Dark with a candle”

Leo- Mr. Saturn and the Sun will move into the sign of Capricorn this week to join Pluto in your House of Health. So how are you feeling? If there is anything your body is trying to tell you make sure you’re listening, because if you don’t Mr. Saturn can be part Nurse and part Sumo Wrestler if necessary to make you a willing patient. Mercury will go station/direct just before the Holiday and square Neptune, so make sure you fulfill your obligations to family. Try to be kind and put up with whatever you have to so that an older person can feel appreciated. They may not be so fabulous now, but they loved you way back when you weren’t so fabulous either. A Pisces Moon on Christmas Eve aligning with Jupiter and Mars may help you to finally see someone for who they truly are instead of who you’d like them to be. Everyone else already knows about this person so let Mr. Saturn get you another glass of wine to help lubricate your naivety through this unbelievable realization.

Virgo- Like Dorothy and her friends being nervous about meeting the Wizard of Oz, the arrival of Saturn into Capricorn and your House of Creativity may have you feeling a little edgy about how a project you’re involved with is going to turn out? Pluto, the planetary archetype of transformation, has already been in this area of your chart for a while, so if you’ve been reading the writing on the wall regarding change then Mr. Saturn will likely be about your dreams coming to fruition, albeit slowly. Just two days after Mr. Saturn arrives in his home sign the Sun will also enter Capricorn, which could help move matters along a little quicker, especially next week when Venus joins the party. Mars and Jupiter in your House of Communication will use Neptune to help spread the word, so if you’re not a success by New Years, don’t fret. Mr. Saturn says you will be the baby wearing the 2018 banner.

Libra- This might sound ominous, but your life is about to change significantly in the coming months, so get ready. The herald of this change will begin this week with none other than Mr. Saturn (Ta-da!!!) entering his home sign of Capricorn and your House of Foundations. Pluto has been there for the last few years setting the stage for this and as Jupiter and Mars in your earnings area and Neptune in the work sphere all move into alignment, the stage is being set for a Quantum Leap regarding how you’re accustomed to thinking about yourself and acting. There’s no way to prepare for this other than to try and be like the surfer who sees the ultimate wave starting to form; put your head down, paddle your ass off, and hope for the best. “Day destroys the night, Night divides the day, try to run, try to hide, Break on through to the Other Side!”

Scorpio- Jupiter and Mars together in your sign now are providing you with a lot of energy. When Saturn and the Sun move into Capricorn during the week and enter your House of Communication, all that energy should finally be finding its focus so that you will be able to advance to the next level in whatever facet of your life you’d like to see improve. Venus in your House of Earnings aligning with Uranus in your House of Work should bring you some tangible dollars and cents recognition in the workplace, either from your current boss or someone else who would like to snatch you away. You will be feeling better than you have in a while, although as Mercury station/direct squares Neptune in your House of Romance, don’t let your good vibe be taken advantage of by a potential suitor who may be offering promises and not much more. As Grace Slick once sang, don’t end up being “A woman with her Greasy Heart Automatic Man.”

Sagittarius- Okay my Centaur friend, what do you want and how much are you willing to do to get it? Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio have been causing you to grind your gears behind the scenes, but now with both Saturn and the Sun moving into Capricorn and your House of Self Worth the time has come to either put up or shut up in terms of what you think you’re capable of. Venus in your sign lining up with Uranus in your House of Fun is making you quite affable, although make sure you’re not putting yourself at a disadvantage by good naturedly agreeing to someone else’s version of you. A Mercury station/retrograde in your sign angling with Neptune will be the last writing on the wall warning you about a manipulative situation at home. After that, Mr. Saturn will have no choice except to serve you with a subpoena to appear before the Court of Common Sense on charges of Felony Gullibility…just sayin’.

Capricorn- Mr. Saturn is coming home to your sign! Are you ready? I’m sorry, that’s a dumb question, of course you’re not ready for Mr. Saturn to be back, who would be? I mean this is Mr. Saturn we’re talking about. Although with the holidays so close maybe he’ll be in a party mood for the remainder of 2017? After all, the only major planet Mr. Saturn will be hanging out with for the rest of this year will be when he shacks up with Venus on Christmas Day (Ooh la la). However, make no mistake about it, he is back and will be making sure that shit gets done. The best way to keep him off your ass would be to enlist the services of Mars and Jupiter in your House of Groups and Neptune in your House of Communication, as they are all in compatible signs and Mars and Jupiter are the kind of hardnosed pros Mr. Saturn appreciates. As a Capricorn you’re a chip off the same old block as Mr. Saturn, so just stay on course for what you’ve been intending over the last few months and enjoy a little Venus yourself over the holiday. Merry Xmas!!!

Aquarius- As Saturn and the Sun enter the hidden part of your chart you could begin to get an inkling of just how much you are driven by the paradox of wanting more because you feel like less. You won’t dwell on this very much, mainly because with Venus in your House of Groups and Uranus in your area of Communications you will be too busy working the room (or the internet) to satisfy the center of attention jones you have going on with Mars and Jupiter in your House of Career and Public Image. Eventually though the curtain will close, the show will end, and there you’ll be, not knowing what to do with yourself without the smell of the greasepaint and the roar of the crowd to give you purpose. This brief moment of alienation will come courtesy of a Mercury station squaring Neptune, although the greater ramifications of this are far too mysterious for you to seriously consider at this time. Just recall what the Oracle told Neo in the Matrix, “you’ll remember you don’t believe in any of this fate crap. You’re in control of your own life…here take a cookie, by the time you’re done eating it you’ll be right as rain.” In other words, don’t worry about it now. Mr. Saturn will be hanging out in your shadows for a while until you’re ready to deal.

Pisces- This week Mr. Saturn will enter your House of Dreams. “What does that mean?” you ask. Imagine being given a charge card with a high credit line and then indulging yourself like a Sultan and maxing it out buying everything you’ve always wanted. When that first bill eventually arrives with interest added on, well, that’s classic Mr. Saturn requiring you to be responsible for your dreams. Now do you understand? Neptune in your sign has set you up for this and Jupiter in your House of Philosophy has fostered the illusion that you’re invincible. The more mundane fact however is that you’re going to have to start being more responsible for a lot of stuff that you don’t want to make time for. Of course you’ll try to charm your way out of growing up, but that will only last as long as it takes Venus to trine Uranus, which will be over by next week. In the meantime what’s that song Mr. Saturn is singing?….”It’s my life and I’ll do what I want/ It’s my mind and I’ll think what I want….” Uh-huh.
