Mr. Saturn’s Stars #22 Weekly Horoscopes for 2/5-2/11, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes  for 2/5 – 2/11, 2018

Hi kids! Glad to see you back at Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope

For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without

love

For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet

faith

But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.”

-T.S. Eliot

Aries- The Lunar Arc for this week could bring you some very valuable lessons about relationships that you’re convinced you’ve already learned. You hard charging Rams don’t like to reflect too much or linger any longer than you have to, which means you probably won’t get it this time around either.  The Moon  squaring Pluto in your House of Relationships will likely make you unable to accept a certain situation so that you’ll probably end up feeling unfulfilled and restricted by it. A conjunction with Jupiter in your House of Transformation will then make you feel a need to resist being controlled at all costs. The Moon conjunct Mars in your House of Philosophy will next allow you to justify running away or rebelling, but then successive conjunctions of the Moon with Saturn and Pluto in your House of Public Image and Career will leave you feel lonely and misunderstood. At this point you’ll  probably convince yourself that it’s an either/or situation between a relationship and a career so that  distracting yourself through work will seem like the only justifiable solution for you to be you. While all this is going on The Sun, Venus, and Mercury will all be in your House of Groups and aligning nicely with Uranus in your sign, meaning that as you sabotage a close relationship with your insecurity, your public image will appear to be that of a charismatic and free spirit; talk about parallel universes! Mr. Saturn’s shaking his head; he’s got nothing on this one.

Taurus- This is a time when you need to consciously take control of the circumstances in your life. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus are all in your House of Career and Public Image and they all more or less square Jupiter in your House of Partnerships. This means don’t be aftraid to ask people for what you want. Don’t wait to be given a gift if it’s something you deserve. If someone close to you is starting to seem a little manipulative they probably are. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Philosophy will make you go back and forth on this (as well as with a number of other things that are going on) but with Pluto coming into alignment with Jupiter don’t feel guilty about putting your needs first. Uranus behind the scenes has been providing a certain amount of anxiousness within you for awhile, but now that all those Aquarius planets are lining up with the planet of freedom to confirm that you’re not crazy, make sure you trust your intuition and do what your heart tells you regarding who to trust and who not to trust. Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is yours;

“Destiny is the

Inheritance we get from

Fate after a choice”

Gemini- You are a mutable Air Sign meaning that your mind will literally go whichever way the wind blows. This is particularly true at this time as The Sun, Mercury, and Venus all align harshly with Jupiter in one direction and beneficially with Uranus in the other. This could make you want something (or someone) just because circumstances won’t allow it, or it could make you give up on something (or someone) just because that’s the easiest thing to do right now. As Mars moves into a square with Neptune make sure you’re seeing the situation for what it really is; meaning be aware that what’s going on may actually originate from how you feel about yourself and not some outer reality dictating your existence. Be especially careful over the weekend if a charming stranger seems like they have all the answers to your topsy-turvy life, they don’t, but you may unwittingly have something they could beg, borrow, or steal to satiate their appetite for ego gratification. The Lunar Arc for you this week begins in the House of Creativity and ends in the House of Death and Transformation, meaning responsibility will follow action for you this week as immediately as burps follow beer, so don’t chug that mug just because you feel challenged to prove yourself.

Cancer- With a cluster of planets moving through your House of Legacies and Transformation and aligning with Uranus in your House of Public Image, you have been compelled so far this year to take care of everyone else’s needs but your own. With that same group of planets squaring Jupiter in your House of Creativity you also need to recognize that your life is a steaming locomotive rapidly running out of track, meaning that it’s high time you started taking care of what you need to do for yourself and calling in as many markers as possible to get help. Those who let you down will not be your friends in this next cycle of your life that is rapidly approaching. Pluto in your House of Relationships has been transforming how you deal with others for a while now and with the recent addition of Saturn into that same House you are being asked to swim with the tide instead of feeling that you are being drowned under a tidal wave of circumstances beyond your control. At the end of the week Venus will be entering your House of Philosophy to join Neptune in its home sign of Pisces, with both squaring Mars in your House of Daily Routines and Health. Please my sensitive little crustacean friend, learn to trust the changing tides, after all, you are a creature of the sea.

Leo- The needs and demands of a significant other may have finally reached the point of being untenable unless something is done, though not by you as they have already worn out that option. You Lions are always the last ones to realize it when you’re being taken advantage of, especially if the perpetrator is making you feel like you’re the most important person in their life. If this manipulation is happening on the home front then there isn’t any action on your part that’s needed, but rather non-action. Stop doing stuff that they should be doing, whether that means trying to counsel them about a situation they complain about constantly but won’t change, or cleaning up after them. In other words, stop being whatever they need you to be and start being what you need to be in your own life. Of course this will mean confronting your fears about being alone, but with Mars moving through rebellious Sagittarius on its way to an inevitable confrontation with Uranus not too long from now either you plan how this difficult situation is going to play out or else be surprised when your partner acts like an emotional kamikazi. Mr. Saturn understands this isn’t going to be pretty, but he is telling you what you need to hear and you know it. Remember the line from the song, “I can do bad all by myself.” Word!

Virgo- Saturn and Pluto in your House of Fun and Creativity is where your focus should be this week. Jupiter in Scorpio aligning with the aforementioned pair will likely have you wondering, could there be more fun in my life? At the same time a bunch of Aquarius planets moving through your House of Routines and aligning with Uranus will stimulate you to reflect on how you spend your time if, in fact, you’re not enjoying yourself? Venus will enter Pisces and your House of Partnerships at the end of the week, where it will eventually join with illusionary Neptune before squaring Mars in your House of Home and Symbolic Foundations. How much is a partner requiring of you on a day-to-day basis and to what extent do these expectations consider what your needs are? Hmmm. The Lunar Arc this week will begin in the sign of Libra, which naturally governs relationships and represents your House of Self Worth, where it will first square Saturn and then Pluto before finishing up at the end of the week toe to toe with those same revolutionary boys, Saturn and Pluto, in your House of Creativity. Mr. Saturn say’s, “Try to remember that the word “revolution” also includes the word “love” in it.

Libra- The French Poet Rimbaud (a Libran native) once wrote; “Now is the eve. Let us receive every influx of strength and true tenderness/And at dawn, armed with an ardent patience, we’ll enter into the splendid cities.” What you’re going through now is the stuff from which true poetry is made. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus in your House of Creativity are all angling harshly with Jupiter in your house of Self Worth, setting the stage for some of your long held ideals to clash with reality. Meanwhile, Uranus in your House of Relationships annoyingly keeps repeating that the only true freedom is in being yourself and fighting the good fight. So what is this ardent patience referred to by Mr. Rimbaud? That would be the presence of both Pluto and Saturn in your House of Symbolic Foundations at the very bottom of your chart, each of them working with Neptune as you sort out true visions from illusions and fleeting friendships from real love. The Lunar Arc for the week will descend from your ascendant to your IC, making it seem as if you are entering a dark night of the soul, although along the way the strength and true tenderness referred to in the Rimbaud quote will also be present in the form of Mars in Sagittarius and Venus entering Pisces. Mr. Saturn would encourage you to hang in there and, “May the odds ever be in your favor.”

Scorpio- As The Sun, Mercury, and Venus all sweep across the bottom of your chart and square Jupiter in your sign, you could be experiencing some unexpected delays either at work or on the home front. Not too worry. There is a metaphysical side to all of this that will be activated when Venus enters your House of Creativity, at which point she will sextile Uranus and then square Mars, motivating you to do what needs to be done as you come to the enlightening realization that the challenges life presents us are often the very blessings we need to truly change our realities and make Magick happen. The Lunar Arc this week will also be an illustration of this theme as the Moon begins its journey in your House of Confinement and then continues on through your Houses of Self Worth and Ideas, mirroring the process of birth as you emerge from a symbolic womb to be born into a world of limitless possibilities. As William Blake wrote in his Marriage of Heaven and Hell, “No bird soars too high, if he soars with his own wings.”

Sagittarius- The bottom of an Astrological Chart represents a person’s symbolic foundations. In your case, with Neptune lingering down there for so long you probably feel like a shipwreck survivor adrift in a vast ocean where nothing ever seems to change except for the sun going up and down. On the other hand, with Mars having recently entered your sign another part of you is beginning to feel inspired by a whole new level of energy starting to emerge, the likes of which you’ve probably not felt since back in the day when you were younger and life seemed to present more exciting possibilities. As Mars continues forward and comes into alignment with Mercury in your House of Communication you could likely encounter an unexpected opportunity, either at work or involving a special interest you have. Pluto and Saturn in your House of Self Worth are requiring you to step up and be more ambitious, meaning that any added responsibilities you are willing to accept in your career at this time will likely bring worthwhile dividends in the future. When Venus enters your Home area over the weekend expect that a loved one will need your special attention.

Capricorn- Mr. Saturn say’s, “Impatience is a doppelganger who doesn’t believe in you.” With Mars behind the scenes in your House of Confinement rapidly moving toward an exact square with Neptune in your House of Thinking, this could end up turning into a very anxious week for you as you find yourself worrying and wondering about everything. Add to this the fact that the Sun, Mercury, and Venus in your House of Self Worth are in a harsh angle with Jupiter in your House of Dreams and you’re also probably going to feel judged, yet the question is, by whom? The Lunar Arc beginning in your House of Public Image could have you overly concerned about what others may be thinking, so by the time it enters your sign to close the week you could be knee-deep in fixing things that may not really need to be fixed. Saturn and Pluto in your sign will be offering some sound advice on being careful about how much you worry about what you don’t have, simply because it usually means you’re also likely overlooking what you do have. This is where that doppelganger will be taunting you with ultimatums and judgments about how you should be doing so much better instead of wasting time. Mr. Saturn has a haiku for you this week;

“How much of our fear

Is simply the learning curve

For finding our strength?”

Aquarius- With the Sun, Venus, and Mercury all in your sign and squaring Jupiter in your House of Career you may have some of those close to you asking, “who are you and what have you done with (fill in your name)”? Neptune in your House of Self Worth is not helping to clear up this question, which is just fine with you as long as you remain the center of attention and Mars in your House of Groups has an audience to conquer. Saturn and Pluto behind the scenes will manage to keep things exciting much in the same way that a civil war is exciting, but at what price? Your ambition is ruthless right now, but so is your naiveté when it comes to how fast and loose you think you can play chicken with the balance of the universe. As Venus pulls into Pisces to end the week make sure that you’re not mistaking the admiration of others for love, especially when there is no humility present on your part. Mr. Saturn is feeling inspired this week so he has a haiku for you as well;

“We cast out lines to

Catch fish, yet rarely think past

The water’s surface”

Pisces- The Sun, Venus, and Mercury are all in your House of Confinement and squaring Jupiter in your House of Philosophy, meaning that perhaps the opinions of others are holding a little too much sway with you right now, regardless if you’re trying to conform or rebel as both represent flip sides of the same coin. Saturn and Pluto together in your House of Dreams could also seem like they’re really cracking the whip on you now as it feels like you’re being made to struggle more than you should have to for everything you need. Take heart, there is a silver lining in this cloud of difficulty surrounding you, although complaining about what’s happening or blaming others won’t help you to see it. When Venus enters your sign at the end of the week and starts to approach a beneficial alignment with Saturn in your House of Dreams, you may get a glimpse of the person you’re capable of becoming as you manage to rise to the occasion in a very difficult situation. Because Venus is currently very close to Neptune at this time and both are in your sign, the lesson here will likely involve compassion and selflessness, which may be just what you needed to learn to permanently change your luck.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #17 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/1-1/7, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/1 – 1/7, 2018

Hi Kids!!! Happy New Year!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. Before starting the Weekly Horoscopes for 2018, I would first like to take a moment to recount a little story that happened to me at the end of last year during the week between Christmas and New Years.

After putting away a couple of courses at an all-you-can-eat buffet that I was attending with my wife and her family, I eventually decided to get myself some dessert. When I went over to the ice cream station I encountered a Little Old Man in a hoody and a baseball hat standing there with an empty bowl in his hands and a very confused look on his face. I waited behind him for a moment but when I realized he wasn’t on line and was just standing there I said, “Excuse me” and went around him. “There’s no scoopers,” he said, and upon surveying the situation I could see the Old Guy was right. I looked around to see if there was an employee nearby who could help us, but the ice cream counter was situated in a far corner of the restaurant and there was no one around. It was then I suddenly remembered my unused spoon back at the table so I went to get it. The Little Old Man was still standing there with his bowl when I returned and once again he announced, “There’s no scoopers.” While I used the spoon I brought back from the table to serve myself some ice cream, I casually remarked to the Old Fellow, “Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands.” When I was finished serving myself I said, “goodbye” to him, but all he did was continue to stand there in silence with his bowl and stare at the ice cream.

When I returned to the table and repeated this incident to my wife she replied, “Wow, that’s a wonderful metaphor of life, you should include it in Mr. Saturn. Needless to say I followed her advice, which makes the moral of this New Year’s story for me, “Listen to your wife.”

Aries- As the year begins, ambition will be your middle name with The Sun, Venus, and Pluto all moving together through your House of Career to align with Jupiter and Mars holding hands in your House of Death and Transformation. You are resourceful and persistent at this time and with a Super Full Moon in Cancer in your House of Foundations you will also be feeling an almost biological imperative to establish something new for yourself that will stand the test of time. On the second of January, Uranus will go station/direct in your sign, which should help you turn some of last years frustration into originality and a new sense of panache for 2018. Mr. Saturn would say, “You’re trending!”

Taurus- The Lunar Arc this week through the lowest part of your chart will activate some deep seeded feelings of longing that should inspire you to re-visit some dreams you have been procrastinating about for far too long. This could involve either establishing a new home base or beginning a new career direction as The Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all activating the part of you that wants to make your mark in the world by establishing something both progressive meaningful. With Mercury moving direct toward Uranus and a Super Full Moon in your House of Thinking it is also important that you are willing to bend or even break some rules now to get yourself out of the logical and comfortable rut you’re luxuriating in. Mr. Saturn say’s, “it’s not about what you can get away with, it’s about what you need to get away from.”

Gemini- The Super Full Moon that starts this week will be in the sign of Cancer and your House of Self Worth. This could be either a recipe for insecurity or a rallying cry for success as this Super Moon opposes The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Transformation and trines a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio. Sometimes fear motivates people to do remarkable things and at other times it freezes them in their tracks. Usually it all boils down to what you feel you have to lose; and we’re not talking about your material status, we’re talking about you’re spiritual and emotional net worth if you are letting yourself be defined by the approval of others. Also be careful mid-week that you don’t bite off your nose to spite your face as a Leo Moon aligns with a stationing Uranus in Aries, a fire combo that can be about irrationality as much as rebelliousness.

Cancer- With a stellium of Planets (specifically The Sun, Venus, and Pluto) in your House of Relationships opposing the Super Full Moon in your sign, this is a week that will reveal both how much others will need from you as well as how new situations will offer some unexpected solutions to some old problems. Mercury in your House of Daily Routines approaching a station/direct Uranus in your House of Public Image should certainly bring some surprises, not the least of which will be the swiftness with which circumstances can change. A Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune should also bring some surprises, specifically how fast your intuition works as it deftly parry’s and returns one blow after another as fate prepares you for the destiny you’ve always dreamed of.

Leo- With the Super Full Moon lighting your inner recesses like a roman candle and a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Symbolic Foundations rumbling like an earthquake, who (or what) is to blame if your soul is feeling unsettled and your life seems on shaky ground? The logjam of Capricorn Planets in your House of Work and routines would suggest you’d like to blame it on your boss or anyone else who is expecting anything from you, while Mercury moving quickly toward Uranus would suggest it’s probably anyone who’d remind you that the only one responsible for what happens in your life and how you feel is you. Neptune in your House of Transformation would further indicate that whichever answer you choose you’ll still feel miserable, so Mr. Saturn would suggest blaming yourself because at least that way you’d be in charge and that’s where you Leo folks always want to be.

Virgo- This is a week for doing, not talking. A Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio and your House of Communication working with The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in Capricorn and your House of Creativity (as well as Neptune in your House of Relationships) should collectively motivate you to talk softly but carry a big stick. The Super Full Moon in Cancer will probably make you more tolerant (and patient) than usual and Mercury in Sagittarius approaching Uranus should make you as sharp as a razor in order to slice through whatever bullsh*t may come your way while leaving a minimum of blood on the floor. The Lunar Arc this week will also aid you in realizing that you’re probably more in control of your life than you’ve ever been before. All Mr. Saturn has to say at this point is, “High five!”

Libra- This week a Super Full Moon in Cancer will form a Grand Trine with both a Mars/Jupiter conjunction in your House of Self Worth and Neptune in your House of Work and Daily Routines, which means you are probably feeling inspired to move forward with either your career in general or a creative project you have high hopes for. However, as the song goes, “Turn, turn, turn, there is a time for every purpose under heaven…” meaning that The Sun, Venus, and Pluto marching now through Capricorn and your Home sector may be requiring you to focus your energies elsewhere for the time being. Saturn is also there in your House of Home and that should help you to realize beyond the shadow of a doubt that whatever seems to be holding back the Dream Express for you at this time is an absolutely necessary delay, in fact it is an evolutionary precursor for whatever it is you are hoping to be. So, have a glass of wine with Mr. Saturn and sing along, “Time, time, time, is on my side, yes it is….”

Scorpio- You have so many good ideas now it’s like a convention of fireflies in a shady grove on a hot summer night. Don’t let inspiration pass without action at this time and be a dreamer with a house full of travel brochures who has never went anywhere. A Jupiter /Mars conjunction will be exact in your sign this week, which in turn forms a powerful Grand Trine with the Super Moon in your House of Ideas and Neptune in your House of Creativity. Make the time to play, create, or even howl at the moon if you’d like because if you’re feeling it in your heart then it is necessary to share it with someone. A stellium of planets in practical Capricorn will help you think all this through and make it real, just make sure you’re following your bliss.

Sagittarius- The Super Moon in Cancer that starts the week is in your House of Legacies, meaning either your Mama is leaving you a lot of dough or you’ve been sacrificing a lot of yourself and hoping there’s an afterlife to make up for it. The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Mr. Saturn all in Capricorn and your House of Self Worth are combining with Neptune in your House of Family to set the bar of responsibility quite high for you, making you feel as if you’re pole vaulter in the Olympics hoping for a medal. Mercury coming into alignment with a soon to be direct Uranus in your House of Creativity should serve as an inspiration for you to break out of this approval rut and leave someone else to clean up after the users (and abusers) in your life, although it could also mean that you’ll pride yourself inordinately at being able to bend over backwards like a circus contortionist to impress these ignoramuses. In addition, Jupiter and Mars in your House of Confinement are like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid trying to bust out of jail, although any decent historian (or even Mr. Saturn) will tell you, “they were never in jail together.” Think on that one for a while.

Capricorn- The Relationship Axis in your chart is overloaded with The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Saturn all in your sign opposing the Cancer Super Full Moon in your House of Partnerships. Are you sweet on anybody now?, Is anyone sweet on you? Have you even noticed? Jupiter in your House of Friends aligning with Neptune in your House of Communication could mean someone you think of as just a friend may secretly like you a whole lot more. Or perhaps someone has been sending you some pretty clear signals and you’re just oblivious? As Mercury in your House of Confinement moves into an eventual alignment with Uranus, you could finally come to realize all the defense mechanisms and walls you’ve set up around yourself under the guise of being “too busy” and “having no time” are just excuses for being too chicken to open your heart. “Awww,” say’s Mr. Saturn, “why I bet plenty of people would like to get to know a sweetie pie like you.” Nuff said!

Aquarius- The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Saturn operating now behind the scenes in your chart all represent the weight of responsibility hanging heavily on your shoulders. At the same time Mercury moving through your House of Groups toward Uranus in your House of Communication is all about exploring every possible angle to create solutions. The Super Full Moon in Cancer this week has you worrying whether or not you’re up to these current challenges, however, Neptune in your House of Earned Income could very well save the day by providing you with an unusual opportunity to acquire some much needed cash. Likewise, Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Career should give you all the drive and courage you should need to see you through these difficult times. It might seem like you’re at the Alamo, but as the song goes, “We are the champions, my friend, and we’ll keep on fighting to the end!”

Pisces- As long as Neptune remains in your sign the challenge will be to stay grounded, not only in regards to your long term goals but in terms of your day to day existence as well. The Sun, Venus, Pluto and Saturn in your House of Dreams will help to keep your nose to the grindstone and make sure things stay organized, while a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio will motivate you to remain focused. Mercury in your House of Career moving into an eventual alignment with Uranus in your House of Earned Income later in the week could bring some unexpected or unusual ways to make a little extra cash, although getting back to Neptune for a moment, make sure you are saving something for a rainy day from anything extra that comes in and not just spending it all. As Jimi Hendrix used to sing, “Castles made of sand fall into the sea, eventually…”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #15 Weekly Horoscopes for 12/18-12/24, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 12/18 – 12/24, 2017

Hi kids!!! Welcome back once again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

For any of you out there who aren’t feeling all this Christmas hype there is an alternative holiday one can celebrate at this time of year if you’re interested. December 17th – 23rd is the annual Feast of Saturnalia, an Ancient Roman holiday that honored the God Saturn (who, by the way, I’m officially related to according to Ancestry.com).

Unlike the crass commercialism and corny trappings of Christmas, Saturnalia featured all kinds of freaky stuff. There was role reversal and behavioral license, like Masters serving Slaves at the celebration banquet, Slaves being able to gamble with their Master’s or even disobey them without fearing punishment, and of course lots of Free Love. According to one source, “Rampant overeating and drunkenness became the rule and a sober person the exception.” My Great, great, great, great Granddad really knew how to throw a party, didn’t he? So, if you’d prefer to abandon social norms this holiday season instead of conforming as usual, then join the conga line to the Temple of Saturn nearest you and debauch de-year away!

Aries- With the New Moon, Venus, and Saturn in Sag to start the week and all of them aligning with Uranus in your sign, you will no doubt be feeling invincible, or at least fairly lucky if you can manage to do something like be on the platform at the same time as the train pulls into the station so you won’t be late for work on Monday morning. Enjoy these small victories while they last, because as the week drags on the Moon, Saturn, and then the Sun will all arrive in Capricorn, the sign of responsibility and achievement as well as your House of Career. Pluto is also in Capricorn now, so as the aforementioned planets join the archetype of death and transformation this is a time for you to re-examine your ambitions and direction. Make sure you haven’t become complacent in a situation that affords you comfort and perks but no longer really challenges you. Toward the end of the week when Mercury goes station/direct and briefly angles Neptune and Jupiter, take a moment to consider just how seriously you take yourself and where that falls between fabulous and not good enough as you stand at the velvet rope and wait for Mr. Saturn to let you in.

Taurus- Did you ever see the movie “Network” when the Newscaster played by Peter Finch tells people to stick their heads out the window and yell, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!” Are you anywhere near a window? As the Moon, Saturn, and the Sun go into Capricorn and Jupiter and Mars continue their march through your House of Relationships, your grumpiness may be hard to conceal, especially since a volatile, retrograde Uranus has been chained to a radiator in your subconscious for quite awhile now and the neighbors are starting to suspect something. The Lunar Arc this week will highlight the process of how you negotiate your needs in any given situation, which brings us back to the screaming out the window thing; does it need to get to that? As Mercury goes station/direct and nudges Neptune and Jupiter, stop trying to act so nice and instead start being nice to yourself, whatever that may mean and whoever may need to pay for it. “Word!” say’s Mr. Saturn.

Gemini- “Therefore send not to know For whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee.” The new Moon at the beginning of the week in your House of Relationships will be ringing in the next phase of a romantic partnership, namely commitment and responsibility. The Moon, Saturn, and the Sun will all be entering Capricorn this week and transiting through your House of Shared Resources, so maybe the time has come to make a home with that special someone? Mars and Jupiter in your House of Work slowly aligning with Neptune in your Career area might require you to manage your time between a job that pays the bills and a career that satisfies your soul. You may be frustrated at having to compromise your time, but just like the old chain gangs, Mr. Saturn would suggest you sing some blues to get you through. ”Girl we gotta get out of this place, if it’s the last thing we ever do, we gotta get out of this place, Girl there’s a better life for me and you.”

Cancer- Not that long ago you were complaining that nothing was ever going to change. Well, the time has come to quote a famous Lady who once advised in a classic film, “Buckle your seatbelts it’s going to be a bumpy night.” With the Moon, Saturn, and the Sun joining transformational Pluto in your opposite sign of Capricorn and aligning with Neptune in your House of Travels and Mars and Jupiter in your Creative area, get ready for circumstances to sweep you away into a new phase of your life. Not quite as epic as “Doctor Zhivago,” but what awaits might reveal a destiny you never suspected. Of course you’ll fret about it every step of the way because that’s what you Crabs do, yet once Mercury goes station/direct late in the week and starts to chug ahead toward Uranus don’t be surprised if these unfolding circumstances activate your higher Cancer nature and you come to a stunning realization. Home is wherever the heart is. “Duh-uh,” says Mr. Saturn before he recites your haiku.

“Faith is a haunted

House where we all search in the

Dark with a candle”

Leo- Mr. Saturn and the Sun will move into the sign of Capricorn this week to join Pluto in your House of Health. So how are you feeling? If there is anything your body is trying to tell you make sure you’re listening, because if you don’t Mr. Saturn can be part Nurse and part Sumo Wrestler if necessary to make you a willing patient. Mercury will go station/direct just before the Holiday and square Neptune, so make sure you fulfill your obligations to family. Try to be kind and put up with whatever you have to so that an older person can feel appreciated. They may not be so fabulous now, but they loved you way back when you weren’t so fabulous either. A Pisces Moon on Christmas Eve aligning with Jupiter and Mars may help you to finally see someone for who they truly are instead of who you’d like them to be. Everyone else already knows about this person so let Mr. Saturn get you another glass of wine to help lubricate your naivety through this unbelievable realization.

Virgo- Like Dorothy and her friends being nervous about meeting the Wizard of Oz, the arrival of Saturn into Capricorn and your House of Creativity may have you feeling a little edgy about how a project you’re involved with is going to turn out? Pluto, the planetary archetype of transformation, has already been in this area of your chart for a while, so if you’ve been reading the writing on the wall regarding change then Mr. Saturn will likely be about your dreams coming to fruition, albeit slowly. Just two days after Mr. Saturn arrives in his home sign the Sun will also enter Capricorn, which could help move matters along a little quicker, especially next week when Venus joins the party. Mars and Jupiter in your House of Communication will use Neptune to help spread the word, so if you’re not a success by New Years, don’t fret. Mr. Saturn says you will be the baby wearing the 2018 banner.

Libra- This might sound ominous, but your life is about to change significantly in the coming months, so get ready. The herald of this change will begin this week with none other than Mr. Saturn (Ta-da!!!) entering his home sign of Capricorn and your House of Foundations. Pluto has been there for the last few years setting the stage for this and as Jupiter and Mars in your earnings area and Neptune in the work sphere all move into alignment, the stage is being set for a Quantum Leap regarding how you’re accustomed to thinking about yourself and acting. There’s no way to prepare for this other than to try and be like the surfer who sees the ultimate wave starting to form; put your head down, paddle your ass off, and hope for the best. “Day destroys the night, Night divides the day, try to run, try to hide, Break on through to the Other Side!”

Scorpio- Jupiter and Mars together in your sign now are providing you with a lot of energy. When Saturn and the Sun move into Capricorn during the week and enter your House of Communication, all that energy should finally be finding its focus so that you will be able to advance to the next level in whatever facet of your life you’d like to see improve. Venus in your House of Earnings aligning with Uranus in your House of Work should bring you some tangible dollars and cents recognition in the workplace, either from your current boss or someone else who would like to snatch you away. You will be feeling better than you have in a while, although as Mercury station/direct squares Neptune in your House of Romance, don’t let your good vibe be taken advantage of by a potential suitor who may be offering promises and not much more. As Grace Slick once sang, don’t end up being “A woman with her Greasy Heart Automatic Man.”

Sagittarius- Okay my Centaur friend, what do you want and how much are you willing to do to get it? Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio have been causing you to grind your gears behind the scenes, but now with both Saturn and the Sun moving into Capricorn and your House of Self Worth the time has come to either put up or shut up in terms of what you think you’re capable of. Venus in your sign lining up with Uranus in your House of Fun is making you quite affable, although make sure you’re not putting yourself at a disadvantage by good naturedly agreeing to someone else’s version of you. A Mercury station/retrograde in your sign angling with Neptune will be the last writing on the wall warning you about a manipulative situation at home. After that, Mr. Saturn will have no choice except to serve you with a subpoena to appear before the Court of Common Sense on charges of Felony Gullibility…just sayin’.

Capricorn- Mr. Saturn is coming home to your sign! Are you ready? I’m sorry, that’s a dumb question, of course you’re not ready for Mr. Saturn to be back, who would be? I mean this is Mr. Saturn we’re talking about. Although with the holidays so close maybe he’ll be in a party mood for the remainder of 2017? After all, the only major planet Mr. Saturn will be hanging out with for the rest of this year will be when he shacks up with Venus on Christmas Day (Ooh la la). However, make no mistake about it, he is back and will be making sure that shit gets done. The best way to keep him off your ass would be to enlist the services of Mars and Jupiter in your House of Groups and Neptune in your House of Communication, as they are all in compatible signs and Mars and Jupiter are the kind of hardnosed pros Mr. Saturn appreciates. As a Capricorn you’re a chip off the same old block as Mr. Saturn, so just stay on course for what you’ve been intending over the last few months and enjoy a little Venus yourself over the holiday. Merry Xmas!!!

Aquarius- As Saturn and the Sun enter the hidden part of your chart you could begin to get an inkling of just how much you are driven by the paradox of wanting more because you feel like less. You won’t dwell on this very much, mainly because with Venus in your House of Groups and Uranus in your area of Communications you will be too busy working the room (or the internet) to satisfy the center of attention jones you have going on with Mars and Jupiter in your House of Career and Public Image. Eventually though the curtain will close, the show will end, and there you’ll be, not knowing what to do with yourself without the smell of the greasepaint and the roar of the crowd to give you purpose. This brief moment of alienation will come courtesy of a Mercury station squaring Neptune, although the greater ramifications of this are far too mysterious for you to seriously consider at this time. Just recall what the Oracle told Neo in the Matrix, “you’ll remember you don’t believe in any of this fate crap. You’re in control of your own life…here take a cookie, by the time you’re done eating it you’ll be right as rain.” In other words, don’t worry about it now. Mr. Saturn will be hanging out in your shadows for a while until you’re ready to deal.

Pisces- This week Mr. Saturn will enter your House of Dreams. “What does that mean?” you ask. Imagine being given a charge card with a high credit line and then indulging yourself like a Sultan and maxing it out buying everything you’ve always wanted. When that first bill eventually arrives with interest added on, well, that’s classic Mr. Saturn requiring you to be responsible for your dreams. Now do you understand? Neptune in your sign has set you up for this and Jupiter in your House of Philosophy has fostered the illusion that you’re invincible. The more mundane fact however is that you’re going to have to start being more responsible for a lot of stuff that you don’t want to make time for. Of course you’ll try to charm your way out of growing up, but that will only last as long as it takes Venus to trine Uranus, which will be over by next week. In the meantime what’s that song Mr. Saturn is singing?….”It’s my life and I’ll do what I want/ It’s my mind and I’ll think what I want….” Uh-huh.
