Mr. Saturn’s Stars #41 Weekly Horoscopes for 6/25-7/1, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 6/25- 7/1, 2018

Hi kids!!! Before I commence with this week’s horoscopes, I would like to take a moment to suggest an idea for a new hash tag movement.

It’s usually my opinion that public discourse on matters affecting our society should remain civil, however, when you have a cabal of racist buffoons in the white house who believe it’s a good idea to separate children from their parents, then as far as I’m concerned all bets are off regarding respect or decency toward these monsters; call them what they are!

With that in mind here’s my hash tag idea;

If you take away the “T” you have “rump,” which the dictionary defines as “the hind quarters of an animal.”

Next you turn “rump” into an acronym;

Racist Unqualified Mendacious Putz

So you don’t have to look it up, mendacious means “lying” and putz is Yiddish slang for “dick”.

There you go, #Rump. What d’ya think? If y’all like it then you have my permission to spread it around!

Aries- With a Full Moon conjunct Saturn and 5 retrograde planets in your Houses of Career, Transformation, Dreams, and Hidden Obstacles, this will no doubt be a decidedly un-Aries week for you.  Add to this the fact that your ruling planet (Mars) will be going station/retrograde and moving back toward a square with explosive Uranus, and the stage could be all set for you to lose your shit if you don’t watch out! Both Jupiter and Neptune retrograde could provide you with the Zen you need, but that will only be if you can tune out Mercury in Cancer who’ll be trying to rile you up into an emotional, self-righteous frenzy like an ignorant trump supporter. Try to remember the old Taoist proverb, “Strength bides its time, while weakness feels a need to act.”

Taurus- A Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your House of Philosophy would make this an ideal week to re-examine whatever isn’t currently working in your life. Mars going retrograde this week in your House of Career could put a damper on a moonlighting venture that was just starting to look like it was gaining some traction, although with Uranus in your sign and aligning with both the Moon and Saturn don’t assume that a setback will be a failure; perhaps you are being re-routed to the back door of success? Both Jupiter and Neptune retrograde in your Houses of Relationships and Dreams respectively could bring back someone from the past who is now in a position to help you negotiate whatever obstacles you may now face; keep the faith!

Gemini- The time has come for you to recapitulate a strategy you thought was going to work because, quite frankly, no one is buying it. Gemini is a sign that’s notorious for being shady but don’t believe for one second that repeating something over and over is convincing anybody. Mercury will be moving from emotional Cancer into righteous Leo this week, and there he’ll be confronted by both Mars retrograde and recalcitrant Uranus, who will each have no problem yelling “bullshit” in your face if that’s what you’re peddling! Five retrograde planets during the week may also serve to bring up some additional shit from the past that you probably shouldn’t have said either, thus making this week’s lesson, “tell the truth, it’s the easiest thing to remember.”

Cancer- This week’s full Moon will be in your House of Relationships conjunct with authoritative Saturn and aligning with Uranus, the planet of the unexpected. Whatever you thought was going to happen at work or in an extracurricular activity you’re involved with, get ready for a surprise! While things haven’t been changing fast enough for you, you’ve been changing at lightning speed so maybe the time has come for you to catch up with the success you’ve been convinced has eluded you! Jupiter retrograde in your House of Creativity and Neptune retrograde in your House of Philosophy should help you with changing a hidden, insecure attitude that has never served you well so that you can turn an overly polite, self deprecating style of communication into a more confident approach that smacks of the leadership and honor that is at the core of your character. You have brains and talent, don’t be shy, flaunt them!

Leo- You are a noble sign so there is a definite limit as to how much crap you can take before you roar back! The sun behind the scenes in sensitive Cancer opposing the Full Moon conjunct with Saturn in your Hose of Work will find you at the end of your rope in a relationship with either a coworker, a boss, or even the entire company you’re employed by. Mars going retrograde in your House of Relationships will have you rethinking your interactions with others over the next couple of months and realizing how isolating yourself from the things that you don’t like has only served to secure you a position holding the shit end of the stick. If you are offended by the way things are then respect your self and either speak up to authority or find a new environment that is more in alignment with your core beliefs.

Virgo- If you don’t like what you see going on around you then become the change! With the Sun in sensitive Cancer transiting through your House of Groups and opposing a Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your House of Creativity, turn what’s bothering you into a source of innovation rather than letting it trap you into a sense of sadness or hopelessness. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Communication aligning with Neptune retrograde in your House of relationships would encourage you to share your feelings about any unfairness or injustice you see, there may be more like minded people out there than you might think who will find your expressions inspiring. Mars going retrograde in your House of Work and squaring Uranus in your House of Philosophy could very well be about you getting involved in some form of activism, be willing to upset the apple cart for what you feel is just and honorable.

Libra- With Mars going retrograde in your House of Creativity the next couple of months will likely be about reviewing a project you’re involved with and making whatever changes are necessary for it to become the success you have envisioned. On a grander stage, the Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your House of Foundations aligning with Uranus in your House of Transformation is about reading the writing on the wall and getting ahead of the curve in regards to implementing whatever changes have become necessary in regards to your long term growth. You have been a work in progress for a while now and the pieces are pretty much in place for you to start letting the world know you’re there. Jupiter has been retrograde in your House of Earnings for a while and once it goes direct next month expect some well deserved rewards for what you have been working on for the last year to start to appear like the first buds of a magnificent Spring.

Scorpio- With Jupiter in your sign now you are feeling very independent, perhaps even like a law unto yourself, yet with the Full Moon meeting up with Saturn in your House of Communications it may be time for you to answer to a greater power, namely responsibility. The Sun passing through your House of Philosophy will have you contemplating something greater than simply your own desires, while Uranus in your House of Relationships may bring some unexpected circumstances your way whereby if you don’t step up someone you care about is really going to be in a pickle. What to do? Your sign rules both saints and sinners so sacrifice is not foreign to you. As a result, Neptune in your House of Creativity will likely help you to choose the highroad and find both innovative and compassionate solutions to whatever those around you may need.

Sagittarius- Mars will be going station/retrograde in your House of Communications this week, meaning that if you haven’t been annoyed enough to openly complain about something that’s been bothering you then get ready for that person or situation to get worse as the retrograde of the warrior planet will bring it back into a loose square with volatile Uranus. The Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your House of Self Worth will also be aligning with Uranus, so don’t think ignoring a bully will work, you’ll need to change what they expect of you and a good insult or well documented complaint may work wonders for both the situation and your self esteem. The Sun in sensitive Cancer will be in your House of Transformation opposing the Full Moon and Saturn, so if it turns out you feel guilty about confronting anyone look at it this way, the individual in question has no problem devaluing you as a matter of sport so for you to strike back is effectively an act of self love, therefore, do you and don’t feel guilty.

Capricorn- As of late no one has had any problem making demands on your time and energy, however, with this weeks Full Moon conjunct Saturn in your sign and both of them aligning nicely with Uranus in your House of Creativity, what you need to be thinking about now is not what someone else needs, but what do you need? Mars going station/retrograde in your House of Self Worth would suggest that taking time for yourself may garner a dissatisfied response from some quarters, but how many of these squeaky wheels should be doing something for themselves for a change instead of depending on you? Jupiter retrograde in your House of Dreams aligning with Neptune retrograde in your House of Communication would suggest killing with kindness anyone who is taking advantage of you; firstly because it’s more humane, but mostly because these passive/aggressive wimps won’t know how to deal with it.

Aquarius- With Mars going station/retrograde this week in your sign it would probably be a good idea to slow your roll, especially with the Full Moon conjuncting Saturn in your House of Confinement and aligning with Uranus in your house of Symbolic Foundations. Allow for the unexpected, which also means let go of your control issues. Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career aligning with Neptune in your house of Self Worth could present a problem with you prioritizing what’s important, as your tendency is to make your issues paramount and everyone else’s secondary. In the world of Aquarius such hubris may be true, but the real world has a way of enveloping our illusions and reminding us we are nothing much more than a fish in a fish bowl. The Sun in sensitive Cancer and your House of Work could have you attaching emotional significance to something that’s nothing more than business. Try not to take things personally and you might just get through a difficult situation and manage to hustle another day.

Pisces- Mars going station/retrograde in your House of confinement could find you wondering what the world wants from you and worrying if you can manage to provide whatever that may be. Saturn conjunct the Full Moon in your House of Dreams with both of them aligning with Uranus in your house of Communication could refer to some mixed news that will seem both positive and negative at the same time. If you’re not getting what you want from a situation, don’t panic, it doesn’t mean you won’t get something useful out of it eventually. Let Jupiter in your house of Philosophy working with Neptune in your sign help you to find the silver lining in this seemingly dark cloud. If work has been either stressful or burdensome as of late, don’t expect it to get any better as Mercury in your House of Routines pulls into a square with Uranus in your House of Communication. The boss doesn’t care what you think, so just take home your pay and realize you won’t be there forever.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #40 Weekly Horoscopes for 6/18-6/24, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 6/18-6/24, 2018

Hi kids!!! Glad to have you back here at Mr. Saturn’s Stars. I hope you enjoyed last weeks Tarot/Haiku Interlude as much as Mrs. Saturn and I enjoyed our vacation.

Now, are you ready to get back to some hardcore horoscopes!!! Yeah? Well then let’s go!!!

Aries- Pride and appreciation could both be big themes for you this week, which could lead to some tense moments and even some disappointments. Nevertheless, try to understand that the overall lesson here should not revolve around anyone’s ego, but respect. The Sun entering Cancer should make you a little more sensitive than usual and its sextile to Uranus in your House of Self Worth should make you a little more reactionary, and if that weren’t enough, Venus will be opposing Mars with both of them being squared by a Scorpio Moon later in the week, all of which could be a recipe for either big passion or big frustration. By the weekend Mercury at the bottom of your chart will be opposing Pluto at the top, helping you to see the truth and let go of any feelings of anger, resentment, or even jealousy, in favor of healing and forgiveness spurred on by Jupiter retrograde in your House of Transformation working with kind and compassionate Neptune retrograde behind the scenes.

Taurus- Taurus is a fixed Earth Sign, grounded and stable, like an old, tall tree in the forest, but hopefully not like a stick in the mud when the rains of change start pouring down. There will be a fixed Grand Cross for you this week, beginning with rebellious Uranus in your sign opposing a Scorpio Moon in your House of Relationships, which will likely be all about getting your way in a situation no matter what. The second opposition that will complete the cross will be Venus in your House of Foundations and Mars in your House of Public Image, meaning pride won’t be just one of the seven deadly sins for you this week, but possibly all of them (perhaps with a little wrath mixed in). The light at the end of this tunnel vision will likely come over the weekend, when noble Jupiter retrograde trines compassionate Neptune retrograde and the investigative team of both Mercury and Pluto oppose each other to reveal this recent stubbornness on your part not to be the selfishness and ego you’ve been hiding behind, but rather a little bit of fear mixed with a lot of insecurity because, after all, change makes you very uncomfortable.

Gemini- This could be your Wizard of Oz week as a Fixed Grand Cross of Uranus, Mars, Venus, and the Moon combine with a new Cancer Sun in your House of Self Worth to re-enact the famous scene in the movie in which the curtain showing the massive, shouting face of the Wizard is pulled back by Toto to reveal a feeble old man hoping to fool the world into believing he’s something more than he is. What may turn out to be a surprise about all this (just as it was in the film) is that your true identity (just like that of the Wizard) with its modesty and insecurity is actually far more attractive (and inspiring) to those around you than the tougher image you feel a need to project. With Neptune transiting now through your House of Public Image it will be important for you to battle this tendency to hide your vulnerability behind a tough facade, for in actuality it is your natural sensitivity that is probably the most powerful tool you have in the face of your current circumstances.

Cancer- With the Sun entering your sign this week and aligning with Uranus in your House of Dreams and Saturn in your House of Relationships, this is a time when you will need to be appreciated and that must necessarily begin with you. Keeping that in mind, Venus in your house of Self Worth opposing Mars in your House of Transformation would speak to keeping your needs in perspective when others start making excessive demands on both your time and sanity. You pride yourself on being a caretaker so begin by taking care of yourself. Mercury in your sign opposing Pluto in your House of Relationships will add to your natural intuition as it offers insights into the motivations of both those who love you and those who oppose you. In the meantime, Jupiter in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune in your House of Philosophy will provide a decidedly Magickal aspect to your personality now, which may assist you in finding an esoteric solution to an obstacle that had previously seemed insurmountable. Believe in yourself and tap the heels of those magick slippers together, you didn’t end up with them by accident.

Leo- The activist and/or protector in you could be activated this week, as Mars in your House of Relationships opposes Venus in your sign and Uranus at the top of your chart opposes a Scorpio Moon at the bottom. Both injustice and bullies offend you and with the Sun moving behind the scenes into the super sensitive sign of Cancer, your heartstrings could be seriously tugged at now by either an individual or a group of people who are being victimized by unfortunate circumstances or unscrupulous individuals. Pluto in your House of Work opposing Mercury behind the scenes, along with Jupiter in your Home area aligning with Neptune in your House of Transformation, could contribute to you making discoveries either on the job or involving your family that will put a new spin on the actions of certain people whom you thought you knew, but it turns out you really didn’t. Once you know the facts, make sure to trust your own sense of truth to determine the right way to react.

Virgo- An unexpected problem this week could wind up being an unexpected blessing, it will all depend on your perspective as well as a sense of irony. Mars in your House of Work opposing Venus behind the scenes could find you thrust into a position of leadership on the job, an irony that will not be lost on you considering how much you have avoided playing the politics game at work because you think it’s a bunch of bullshit. The simple fact though is that you are the most qualified person to step in if the shit has hit the fan. Kind of like Burt Lancaster in From Here to Eternity; he’s the Sargent who really runs the base but when his girl suggests he take the officer’s exam he replies, “But I hate Officers!” All Mr. Saturn has to say is, “get over yourself, be a success!” Mercury in your House of Groups opposing Pluto in your House of Creativity could be of  assistance in your position of newfound responsibility in the form of you coming up with a better way to do whatever it is you’re now in charge of. Top it off with Jupiter and Neptune making everyone love you for it and you’ll see why it was suggested that a sense of irony would be important at this time.

Libra- As the Sun enters your House of Career and aligns with Uranus in your House of Transformation, the time may have finally come for you to get out there and make some noise. This ambitious theme will be reiterated as Mars in your House of Creativity opposes Venus in your House of Groups and Dreams. What you had thought was too personal and of little interest to most people might actually be quite universal. Mercury is also in your House of Career and it is opposing Pluto at the Foundation of your chart, meaning when we are honest with ourselves and what we feel, it will resonate with those of like mind and maybe there are more of them out there than you figured. Meanwhile, Jupiter retrograde in your House of Earnings aligning with Neptune Retrograde in your House of Work could bring back someone from the past that wants to return a favor for something you did but have forgotten about. The tumblers in the universal lock could very well be falling into alignment, so don’t be surprised if some doors start to open.

Scorpio- The story of Oedipus is famous for a reason; it is an archetypal theme of competition and incest that resonates deeply. With Uranus now in your House of Relationships and the Sun entering the sign of Cancer and your House of Philosophy, expect the deeper connections between your parents and you to start to emerge; not as dramatically as the Doors performing “The End,” but intense enough for sure. Mercury is also transiting through your House of Philosophy and as it opposes Pluto in your House of Communication, this could be a good time to start to explore some form of therapy to help you engage with the deeper parts of your nature, so consider perhaps going to a see a conventional therapist or even a legitimate Psychic, Tarot Reader, or Astrologer. Scorpio is the deepest and darkest of the signs, but within those depths are the secrets and realizations that can set you free. With Neptune now retrograde in your House of Creativity aligning with Jupiter retrograde in your sign, this could be the time to let your subconscious out to play; experiment with some automatic writing, meditation, or formal ritual practice, you may be glad you did.

Sagittarius- As the Sun enters into your House of Transformation and aligns with Uranus, you may finally be willing to push back at a person or situation that’s been bothering you. Venus in your House of Philosophy and Mars in your House of Communication will likely motivate you to speak up for yourself, so first make sure you take the time to examine how you really feel about the way you’re being treated, especially over the coming weekend as a Scorpio Moon behind the scenes may have you feeling some resentment toward either a relative or a co-worker who really has no respect for you. Mercury in your House of Transformation opposing Pluto in your House of Self Worth could very well act as a liberating force right now to help you see more clearly the connection between how you feel about yourself and how much you earn. It’s important to remember that the art of negotiation is about asking for more than you want in order to make the other person feel good about talking you down to what you really wanted.

Capricorn- As the Sun enters your House of Relationships and Uranus enters your House of both Creativity and Romance, get ready for a relationship or work situation to either suddenly blossom or disintegrate. The good news is that whatever happens will likely be initiated by you, as you’re suddenly hit by the realization that life is too short to fart around. Mars in your House of Self Worth and Venus in your House of Transformation would agree, especially by the time the weekend rolls around with a Scorpio Moon entering into your House of Dreams to square the God of War and the Goddess of Love. Mercury is also in your House of Relationships and he will make you want to express your feelings, for better or worse, especially since the Messenger Planet is opposing transformative Pluto in your sign, which is nothing short of a complete liberation from rules or attitudes that restrict who you want to be in any way, shape, or form.

Aquarius- If you’re sick of your job then the time may have come for you to finally look for something else. The Sun entering your House of Work and Uranus shaking up your Foundation are both aligning with Saturn behind the scenes, making it clear once and for all that the situation you are currently in is tantamount to death if you remain there. Mars in your sign will give you all the energy you need to search for a new situation, while Venus passing through your House of Relationships would speak to both new connections as well as being able to rely on those you’ve worked with in the past to spread the word that you’re now available. Mercury is also in your House of Work and as the Messenger Planet aligns with both Jupiter retrograde in your House of Career and Neptune retrograde in your House of Self Worth, look at things this way, if you’re still worried about whether or not you’re doing the right thing by leaving your job then consider this- all the planets I’ve just mentioned are in water signs, therefore, if it “feels right” to be leaving then get the hell out and don’t look back!

Pisces- This is not the time for you to be a wallflower or shy in any way, especially at work. Mars behind the scenes may have you feeling a little anxiety about being ambitious, yet Venus in your House of Work is trying to tell you that there is certainly opportunity present if you’re interested. The Sun entering your House of Creativity aligning with Uranus in your House of Communication may inspire you toward some bright ideas to improve things on the job. If that’s the case, then make sure you share these ideas with someone who can not only help you implement your plan, but also make sure you’re adequately compensated for the contribution. Mercury is also in your House of Creativity and the Messenger Planet is moving into a Grand Trine with both Jupiter and Neptune, both of whom are retrograde. In the past you have held yourself back in work situations by not feeling as though you were the leadership type, if that’s the case now then look to the Grand Trine that was just mentioned to help you learn to trust yourself and your intuition about what is right in a situation. The best leaders operate on instinct so start testing yours.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #32 Weekly Horoscopes for 4/16-4/22, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 4/16-4/22, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. Looking around now it seems like everyone I know is either going through some deep shit or knows someone who is. It reminds me of the movie “The Exorcist” when the Younger Priest say’s to the Older One, “Why the little girl?” and the Older Priest replies, “I think it’s to make us despair.” Perhaps that’s evil’s only real purpose, to make us doubt ourselves in the face of adversity so that we become convinced of our inability to ever change anything? But then again, maybe it’s up to us to keep going at all costs? After all, what do you think all those resurrection myths from all over the world like Osiris, Dionysius, Jesus, Odin, etc. are about if not to inspire us to keep searching for the best in ourselves? Ultimately we’ll never really know what we’re capable of unless we try, so let’s get busy with this week’s horoscopes.

Aries- With both Mercury and Uranus in your sign you’re probably feeling tenser now than usual. Especially since Mercury is about to re-enter into a restrictive square with Mr. Saturn as he goes retrograde and Uranus is on the verge of doing a gangsta thing with the Sun that will make you feel as if nobody should be able to tell you what to do. Pluto will also be slowing down this week to go station/retrograde, which will allow the planet of change to remain in a beneficial and creative alignment with Venus in your House of Self Worth for a while longer. With that in mind, if you can manage to let circumstances make you more introspect and adaptable instead of letting situations put you in a corner armed only with your insecurity, then perhaps you’ll be able to get out of this week with a few bucks in your jeans instead of with a hangover in a regrettable place. Choose wisely.

Taurus- As the Sun moves into your sign, try not to be overly concerned with things you don’t have and/or circumstances that have not yet come to pass. Especially since both are inherently illusions and such speculation can lead a nuts and bolts thinker like yourself straight into Worryville faster than Dorothy can tap her ruby slippers together three times. Meanwhile Jupiter retrograde in your House of Relationships opposing Venus in your sign could cause you to take on more than you should in either a romantic or business partnership. Let Pluto mediate this situation as he slows down to go station/retrograde. Maybe the planet of transformation can help you remember all those times in the past when you tried to do too much and got burned. Maybe this time will be the charm and you’ll go with the flow to a place that you’ve always dreamed about but never been…Happyville!

Gemini- As long as Neptune is in your House of Public Image and squaring your sign you need to be consciously paying attention to what you say and don’t assume people aren’t listening too closely. Of course the obvious problem that could arise from not being consistent in what you say is that people will think you’re a liar. Then again, you could very well be stretching the truth intentionally and with Mercury now direct in the sign of Aries and your House of Groups, you’ll probably be less likely to heed the advice I just offered because of course you’ll feel you know better. At that point enter Mr. Saturn, who will unceremoniously tell Mercury to “SHUT UP AND LISTEN!” What a fiasco, especially since the Revolution Brothers Mars and Pluto are both about to align with a retrograde Jupiter in the Machiavellian sign of Scorpio. If you could have just keep your mouth shut to begin with you might have been able to skate by all this, but nooooooooo!

Cancer- Before the Sun leaves Aries it will conjunct Uranus in your House of Career and Public Image, so be willing to be who you are without any apologies and you might just be surprised at how well you’re received. Mercury will also be going direct in that same House of Career, so if you’re dissatisfied with where you are professionally polish up that resume and get it out there to all possible points of opportunity. At the same time, Venus in earthy Taurus is passing through your House of Dreams and aligning with Pluto, who is about to go retrograde in your House of Relationships, meaning this could be the time to either call in a favor with a colleague who remembers you fondly, or else rekindle the romance between you and your significant other. Either way you’ve already paid for your ticket to paradise so “cash it in and we’ll leave tonight.”

Leo- Your job could be very eventful for you at this time with Saturn, Mars, and Pluto all on the same shift in your House of Work. Mars and Pluto are all about putting your nose to grindstone, while Saturn on the verge of going retrograde in an extended square to Mercury is about making sure others see how hard you bust your ass. Jupiter retrograde opposing Venus in your House of Career would then represent the next step of making sure you are adequately compensated for all you do, which in the past was something you always felt should be offered rather than asked for. Hopefully when the Sun passes into your House of Career at the end of the week you’ll be beyond believing such bullshit and will be ready to demand what you want and go wherever you need to go to get it.

Virgo- Mars and Pluto moving closer together in your House of Creativity and aligning with Venus in your House of Philosophy is the passionate exclamation of “Why not?!!!” as Mercury in your House of Shared Resources argues with Saturn, also in your House of Creativity, about your sovereignty, freedom, and responsibilities in a business or emotional relationship.  Jupiter retrograde in your House of Communication is there to remind you that being nice in the past didn’t work so maybe this time you should just do what you gotta do and let the other person feel cheated and disrespected for once. As the song goes, “It’s my life and I’ll do what I want!”……..Go ahead, be an Animal, you just might find you like it……Rrrrrrrrrr!!!

Libra- With Mercury in your House of Partnerships it is important for you to be reaching out this week both socially and professionally. Make it a point to reconnect with old friends as well as to explore some new work contacts. For the last few weeks Saturn, Pluto, and Mars in your House of Symbolic Foundations have been expanding your comfort zone to bungee chord proportions, while at the same time requiring you to consolidate your operational core to the size and efficiency of a two-man sniper team. Now you officially know what it’s like to be drawn and quartered. Just kidding… There is also some good news. Venus in your House of Transformation and Jupiter in your House of Earnings will be keeping their extended aspects with Pluto alive because he’s about to go retrograde, meaning that whether you realize it or not you’re already past what you’ve been worrying about because you’re on the verge of finding the solution. Keep your eyes open!

Scorpio- Mercury and Uranus are both in the hard charging sign of Aries as well as your House of Work, so it would probably be safe to say that being at the job now is sort of like being at the Alamo, except there’s no glory (or money) where you are. Saturn in your House of Communication is probably requiring you to listen to more crap than you’d like to from some one who currently has power over you, but take heart, Mars and Pluto in your House of Ideas are aligning nicely with Venus in your House of Relationships and Jupiter so it won’t be long before you’ll be moving on to greener pastures and will be able to tell your current slave master to take their job and shove it! I have also previously mentioned romance in your future, well, with Neptune in your House of Romance don’t bother trying to keep your eyes open so you can spot it because it will be a surprise when it happens…Hey, I bet you’re really curious now?

Sagittarius- Reality is not your forte at this time so be careful not to trust your compulsions or someone else’s promises all that much. Lessons are in store for you now, so don’t be that kid in class who raises their hand quickly and shouts, “I know, I know”, and then doesn’t. Mars and Pluto in your House of Self Worth aligning with Venus in your House of Work could make an opportunity on the job seem like a lucky break, but remember what I just said about reality. You bring more to the table than you give yourself credit for and if you haven’t realized that yet, well, someone else has so make sure whatever sort of deal you’re offered doesn’t make you too grateful simply because you have no idea what you’re worth.

Capricorn- Mercury and Uranus at the bottom of your chart are probably making you feel as if you’re caught up in the centrifugal force of a Whirling Dervish, yet with Mars, Saturn, and Pluto in your sign you’re undoubtedly weathering it as stoically as Mount Rushmore, at least that ‘s what it looks like from the outside. At the same time Neptune in your House of Thinking probably has you feeling befuddled and at a loss, although in reality you are in that idiot savant place where one can come to understand (and accept) that real creativity comes from the unknown and the unexpected, not from the known and the expected. Do you get what I’m saying? It’s only your control issues that have you feeling out of control; in reality you are going with the flow and are in harmony with your environment. Granted, you may be flying by the seat of your pants, but as the late Timothy Leary used to say, “In order to use your head you have to go out of your mind.”

Aquarius- This week when the Sun enters the sign of Taurus and your House of Symbolic Foundations it may finally dawn on you how strongly the fear of not having enough has been a significant motivating factor in your life. Likewise, the crowd of Capricorn Planets behind the scenes in your chart has had you so caught up with the mechanics of attaining success that you really haven’t taken the time to consider what the psychology behind your ambition is really all about. Perhaps it’s Jupiter in your House of Career that has you needing to be a star, or could it be Mercury with Uranus in your House of Communication that has you feeling the need to rebel? Me thinks it’s Neptune in your House of Self Worth that is causing you to lose sight of the forest for the trees. What would Mr. Saturn’s advice be? As a Poet once wrote, “The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom,” though I think he meant we discover what we really need by pursuing what we don’t need. But hey, you’re an Aquarius and you don’t take advice, you learn lessons the old fashioned way…….Suffer!

Pisces- This week when the Sun enters Taurus and your House of thinking and Saturn goes retrograde to meet it in your House of Dreams, whatever it is you have wanted as well as how to get it will slowly start to dawn on you. Of course this would have been obvious to any of the other signs at the onset of their ambitions, but since you’re a child of Neptune and your ruler is currently transiting your sign, fogginess is the meteorological norm for your mental landscape at this time. Oh well, better late than never. An extra-added bit of clarity should also come from Venus as she aligns beautifully with both Mars and Pluto, also in your House of Dreams, to help you along in your transformation from dreaming to manifestation. Of course none of this will happen over night so Mister Saturn would advise that before you jump the gun and get “Eight Miles High” about your prospects, just remember, “Signs in the street/ That say where you’re goin’/ Are somewhere/ Just being their own.

Aries- With Mercury and Venus entering your sign this week it’s time to reveal some of those brilliant ideas that have been simmering in your noodle. Mars and Uranus will be urging you to move full speed ahead, while at the same time Jupiter will be asking you to meditate on the differences between control and power. By the time the weekend rolls around successive conjunctions of the Moon with Saturn and Pluto will let you know what the truth is; just make sure you’ve been thorough in your speculations.

Taurus- If you haven’t been honest with yourself in your relationships it will be pretty hard to keep up the front as Mercury and Venus take you in the backroom and give you an earful. Jupiter going retrograde in your House of Relationships will also be asking you to rethink your perpetual “nice” act as Mars and Uranus trot out the evidence of how you’re not getting the quid pro quo you’d like from a situation you’ve put a lot of time and effort into. Mr. Saturn would say, “time to get practical” and Pluto would concur.

Gemini- If you want to get your way in a situation start campaigning for support. Mercury and Venus entering the sign of Aries and your House of Groups will give you the gift of gab (as if you needed any help) while Uranus and Mars will make you the sharpest tool in the shed in any gathering, just don’t get too carried away. You may have some great ideas, but by the end of the week Saturn and Pluto will be requiring you to follow through on any promises made (that you do need some help with).

Cancer- If things haven’t been going your way be prepared to rethink a plan. Jupiter going retrograde in your House of Creativity will assist with this by bringing some new information to light that should prove to be very helpful. If things are changing it doesn’t mean to give up on your dreams, instead follow the way the wind seems to be blowing, it may just bring you to where you’ve hoped to be all along. Mercury and Venus entering your Public House promises a busy week of interacting with people and a Sun/Neptune conjunction should deliver an unexpected moment of enlightenment. Don’t forget to yell “AHA” when you finally see the truth.

Leo- As Mercury and Venus enter the sign of Aries and your House of Philosophy this week have the courage to confront how unhappy you are, you might finally be ready to stop playing the victim and instead listen to Mars and Uranus as they advise you to shake things up and change the rules of engagement. Jupiter going retrograde is certainly going to support this by forcing you to deal with a situation that you’ve been letting slide for far too long. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Daily Routines will also start pressuring you to manage your time and energy more efficiently. Read the writing on the wall.

Virgo- You’ve been going along with a situation for so long you seem to have forgotten who you were before it started. As Mercury and Venus move into the sign of Aries, take the time to re-assert your interests before no one else is interested in what those concerns might be. Mars and Uranus are going to shake things up at home so don’t try to pretend it’s not happening; avoidance won’t work. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Creativity will provide you with some real conundrums; remember this is not to break you but to expand you. Nuff said!!!

Libra- You have been an observer in your life for a while now and maybe the time has come to ask yourself what you have learned. Could you act more and talk less? Then do it! With Mercury, Venus, and Uranus all in your House of Relationships communication with a partner at this time is key. That means listen more and talk less. There is a subtext in your interactions with loved ones that you’re missing. You’ve been worrying that you’re not enough when all a partner really wants is to feel accepted by you even when they make mistakes. Try to just listen and don’t think you have to fix everything.

Scorpio- With Mercury and Venus entering your House of Work and Uranus already there, things could get stupid busy on the job front. Combine this with the fact that Mars is in your House of Earnings and it becomes imperative to make sure you’re getting adequately compensated for your time and effort. Don’t let a boss get away with being nice if they’re being cheap! Saturn and Pluto in your House of Communications could mean the time has come to make some necessary demands in whatever facet of your life you’re feeling short changed; (i.e.) Refer back to my comment on nice but cheap bosses.

Sagittarius- With Jupiter as your ruling planet you are a philosophical sign, which at times can mean you’re unrealistic but this isn’t one of those times. Now you might actually be brilliant! With Mars in your sign and Uranus in your House of Creativity you couldn’t conform to the status quo now even if you wanted to, so let your freak flag fly and you might be surprised when everyone makes an allowance for the eccentric artist. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Self Worth are not trying to make you worry about your bills, rather they are trying to get you to bust out and create a new paradigm for yourself. Are you listening?

Capricorn- We can repress things for just so long and then they find a way to escape, often to our chagrin and/or embarrassment. Mercury and Venus are in your House of Symbolic foundations and Uranus has been there for a while, meaning that your darker impulses may manifest now if you have been repressing them. This situation will be further reinforced by Mars behind the scenes and Jupiter in your House of Dreams, therefore the time has come to be totally honest with yourself. Saturn and Pluto in your sign are a revolution waiting to happen so the question now is, which side are you on…the rebels or the status quo?

Aquarius- An epiphany awaits you, are you ready for it? You have spent so long being what others need you to be that you’ve let them define who and what you are. Of course being Mr. or Ms. Individualistic you’re incredulous at this suggestion, but really, are you the leader or the star because others need you to be, or because you feel like less if you’re not the center of attention? This is a heavy question and Saturn and Pluto behind the scenes in your dressing room could turn this into the sort of personal melodrama that Betty Davis shared with those close to her in “All About Eve.” In the words of the great Diva, “Fasten your seatbelts it’s going to be a bumpy night.”

Pisces- Get out there and network!!! With Mercury and Venus in your House of Earnings along with Uranus aligning with Mars in your House of Career, you could find that if you stir the pot now you may encounter an opportunity that you didn’t expect. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Groups have been pushing you toward some more responsible acquaintances so maybe you should let it happen? With the Sun and Neptune coming together now in your sign a major new trend could be revealing itself, let go of old illusions if they’re not playing out and let the Universe be your guide.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #23 Weekly Horoscopes for 2/12-2/18, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 2/12 – 2/18, 2018

Hi kids!!! Valentine’s Day is this week so Mr. Saturn is going to talk exclusively on the subject everyone always wants to know about, namely, Love… <3… although be forewarned, what follows is gonna be REAL…

The Gardener

Love from the past

Is a dry, dead rose

Pressed and flat

In a book of poems

Hopeful Love

Is a pretty bouquet

To a maiden from her suitor

In a romantic play

But the Love before us

Is there in the dirt

To be tilled by the gardener

Who believes in the work“

Aries- If you’re in a committed relationship explain to your partner what you’re really feeling instead of just doing what you want and then expecting to win the argument afterwards, even if revealing your doubts makes you a little uncomfortable (especially if it makes you uncomfortable). If you’re single decide what the scariest thing about a relationship is for you, because if you think you’re ready for one it’s going to be that deep down, hidden fear you’re harboring that will be the gate keeper.

Taurus- If you have a partner make sure that they are valuing you as much as you are enamored of them. In addition, be careful of a stale relationship turning into a power play when all you really need to do is spice it up a bit. If you’re single, take a moment to write down all your good qualities and then realize that any potential partner who doesn’t recognize you have these attributes certainly isn’t worth your time.

Gemini- Pay attention to how you and a partner are communicating. Make sure that the agreeableness of your significant other isn’t just a way of disengaging and letting you believe what you want to. You single twins will have that special something going on right now, just pay attention not to let a charming someone sneak off with the family jewels.

Cancer- If partners agree on everything then one of them is redundant. Relax some of your control issues and let the differences between you and your significant other fuel a loving evolution of your relationship; you’ll be glad you did!!! Likewise, you single crabs need to step out of your comfort zones and be willing to let a relationship develop. Don’t make excuses that you’re too busy; you know there’s no way work is more important that falling in love.

Leo- You could be feeling more amorous than you have in a while so let your partner know it. Don’t let yourself be inhibited by their shyness; they might need your leadership skills on this one. You single Lions could be just as happy making love to either an audience or an admirer, decide which one floats your boat and then be clear about it so no one gets hurt.

Virgo- If the relationship with your significant other has been complicated lately, then why don’t you hide out together in the bedroom for a day or so? After all, relationships rarely get to that “complicated” place if a committed couple is having a lot of sex…just sayin’. Meanwhile, you single Virgins should stop looking at love as something to be attained with definite rules to get there. Ever hear the song “Fooled Around and Fell in Love?”

Libra- No matter if you’re attached or single, how you feel about yourself right now is making all the difference. Creativity and Love are strongly related for you at this time, so if you’re feeling that your worldly endeavors are unsatisfying you could appear either mysteriously conflicted to a partner, or distant and unavailable to any potential suitors. Either way, for the present you should value an emotional connection over any material accomplishment, you’ll be much better off in the long run.

Scorpio- If you’re in a relationship then make sure you do something really special this week for Valentine’s and don’t cut any corners, your partner will love it! If you’re single then love right now could be about either something tangible or something spiritual. For instance, you could find out that someone whom you secretly admire is also quite smitten with you, or else you might feel inspired to create something artistic that will help you work out a mystery within yourself. Either way, Cupid’s arrow will hit something.

Sagittarius- If you’re in a relationship think carefully before bringing up the subject of living together. What you feel for a special person could turn into some unexpected animosity when they’re suddenly with you all the time and start to cramp your style regarding some personal habits you have no intention of changing. If you’re single stop having a fantasy you’ll meet someone if you really don’t make any effort to connect with new people (hiding in a group of friends for safety whenever you’re out doesn’t count).

Capricorn- If you’re in a relationship where is it going? Or, more importantly, where do you want it to go? Things may currently seem too chaotic to risk taking that next step with a serious partner, yet one of the tests of Love is if it can survive such challenges. You single Goats may not realize how all this catharsis you’ve been experiencing recently is actually making you quite a hottie. There’s more than one person out there who would be willing to make it all about you. Of course that’s a compliment, but be careful just the same.

Aquarius- Have you been paying enough attention to your partner lately? On the other hand, if you’ve been doting on them is that about their need or your insecurity? Try to see the person in your life now as a specific individual and not an abstract extension of yourself. You single Water Bearers may be promoting this conquering hero image, yet a person who could love you would like to be privy to the worried child you sleep alone with at night. Are you willing to be truly vulnerable without a disclaimer?

Pisces- You attached Fishes need to be careful not to put a partner on a pedestal. With illusory Neptune in your sign what you’re not seeing is that you may be dissing yourself rather than complimenting someone else. Single Fish will soon be in season, so be careful not too swim in shallow waters or automatically go after anything shiny that’s dangled in front of you. It’s entirely possible you could end up as a fillet for some predator who is only out for sport.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #21 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/29 – 2/4, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/29 – 2/4, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. There’s a song by The Mamas and the Poppas stuck in my head now and I just can’t stop humming it. It’s called “Own Kind Of Music” and I ‘d like to dedicate the lyrics of it to the 800,000 “Dreamers” out there who have been left swinging in the wind by our elected officials. For some reason these “suits” couldn’t seem to understand the fact that over 80% of your fellow Americans want you here to stay, including Mr. Saturn.

I’d also like to send the song out to all you “Lost” fans that might remember the tune from the first episode of season two when the world of “The Island” was suddenly transformed (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42).

“Nobody can tell ya

There’s only one song worth singin’,

They may try and sell ya,

‘Cause it hangs them up to see someone like you.

But you’ve gotta make your own kind of music

Sing your own special song,

Make your own kind of music, even if nobody else sings along.”

Aries- This week’s Super Full Moon in your House of Creativity and Romance will be aligning with Mars in your House of Philosophy, meaning that you’ll likely be full of ideas, inspirations, and even some amorous desires that you’ll want to turn into immediate realities. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Career would point to time being on your side right now in terms of getting where you want to go, but only if you can remain patient and make sure to cross every “t” and dot every “i” as you move forward. The Sun, Venus, and Mercury in your House of Groups should insure plenty of cooperation from any playmates and/or co-conspirators as you push forward to conquer whatever it is you’re after, although with an inconjunct between the Super Moon and Neptune in your House of Secrets you could end up revealing more than you should to someone you’re just getting to know. You have a lot going for you now, just make sure not to let your current optimism turn into irresponsible euphoria or a sophomoric infatuation with fame and fortune. Mr. Saturn would remind you “Nothing exceeds like excess is only true in the film Scarface.”

Taurus- The struggle for you now is to realize that your current perspective is still largely based on whom you were and how you used to think, rather than who you’ve become and how the circumstances of your life have changed. This week’s Super Moon is in your House of Symbolic Foundations and it aligns with Mars in your House of Transformation, indicating that you’re already the person you’ve been striving to be; all that’s left now is to act like it. You currently possess the resources to make some long held dreams come true, therefore, have the confidence to take a calculated risk and stop thinking of what could go wrong as if you were being made to jump out of an airplane without a parachute. With Venus in your House of Career squaring off with Jupiter in your House of Partnerships, make sure that you also understand what it means to help people help themselves instead of letting them become codependent and drain your energy. Mr. Saturn would say, “Teach them to fish, don’t keep treating them at the fish market.”

Gemini- This could be a time when your usual racehorse mind might actually stop creating problems by trying to head life off at the pass and instead let things simply be what they are. This might allow you to remember why you’ve chosen the path you’re on rather than constantly worrying about whether or not you’ll be successful. This week’s Super Moon in your House of Communication aligning with Mars in your House of Relationships might find you finally being honest with someone close to you, instead of talking around things to spare their feelings while at the same time ignoring your own. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Death and Transformation are currently aligning with Neptune in your House of Public Image in order to help you realize that what you said to this person was not only in your best interests but theirs as well. In other words, the time has come for you to significantly close the anxiety gap between needing to be accepted by others and simply feeling good about doing what’s right for you. As the Jefferson Airplane sang, “You can do whatever you please/ The world’s waiting to be seized/ You can collect all neglect/ Or all the self respect you need.”

Cancer- The Moon is your ruling planet and this week’s Super Moon in Noble Leo should have you feeling like Popeye after he’s eaten his spinach, especially since it will be aligning with Mars in “I don’t give a sh*t” Sagittarius. Just remember to keep your cool with a hater, after all, like it say’s in the song that’s quoted at the beginning of this week’s horoscopes, “’Cause it hangs them up to see someone like you.” Mercury will also be aligning with Mars this week so you should not only feel spunkier than usual but also sharp as a razor, so sharp in fact that those haters I mentioned before won’t realize your rapier like wit has cut them to the quick until you’re long gone and their pride is dripping on the floor. A Fixed Jupiter/Venus square over the weekend involving your Houses of Creativity and Transformation should have you once again solving the world’s problems, yet at the same time also forgetting to keep for yourself some of that Infinite Love and Compassion you channel for everyone else. Nevertheless, your guardian Angel (and Mr. Saturn) will be watching over you, so don’t be surprised if there’s a nice glass of wine waiting when you get home.

Leo- Having the Super Moon in your sign this week begs the question, what do you need to do that you’ve been neglecting? Mars in flammable Sagittarius aligning with the Super Moon will undoubtedly light a fire under your arse; are you feeling the heat yet? Jupiter on the Home Front squaring Venus in your House of Relationships would suggest you tap into some of that Leo Nobility and take the lead to improve the situation for you and yours. Saturn and Pluto in your House of Routines have no time or patience for lip service now, so take off those lazy Leo lounging pants and grab a hammer and fix something (even if that means hitting yourself in the head a few times to stimulate the blood flow to your brain). Once you get in gear Uranus will floor it and then you’ll suddenly remember how you like being in charge and having everyone look up to you. And don’t worry about those lumps on your head. That fine mind of yours is now functioning at optimum level and that Leonine charisma has also kicked in, meaning that someone may just want to soothe what ails you (if you get my drift, and I know you do with all that blood circulating). Hell, even Mr. Saturn is blushing.

Virgo- With this week’s Super Moon in Leo aligning with Neptune in your House of Relationships and Mars in your Home area, this could be the perfect time to review the underlying dynamics of your closest associations. Jupiter in your House of Communications and Venus in your House of Routines are trying to point out that perhaps your willingness to always be of service to those you care for might have created a situation where these individuals are now taking you for granted. The transit of both Saturn and Pluto through your House of Creativity then becomes about taking the necessary steps to restructure how your relationships play out by learning to say “no” when it is appropriate for your sanity and well being. You could also be confronting a similar problem on the work front as you find yourself tiring under the strain of needing to be nice to people who are not being very nice to you. Take a deep breath or count to ten and if that doesn’t work then try to think of that glass of wine that’s waiting for you at home. You might also try to take solace in the insightful words of the U.S.A’s most recent Nobel Laureate in Literature, “I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes/ You’d know what a drag it is to see you.”

Libra- Your are effectively being triangulated by feelings of dark foreboding as the week begins with foggy Neptune in your House of Routines and Work, Saturn and Pluto in your Home area, and a very personal Jupiter in Scorpio being squared by a very impersonal Venus in Aquarius. Add to all this the Super Moon in your House of Dreams aligning with Mars in your House of Writing and Communication and the stage is set for you to be feeling all dressed up with no place to go. Take heart though, only 13 minutes after the Super Moon arrives Mercury will enter your House of Creativity, meaning you could finally receive some tangible proof that the world hasn’t forgotten about you and that life really does go on after the sh*t has hit the fan. To continue the lyrics of the song that was quoted in the introduction to this week’s horoscopes, “It may be rough goin’,/ Just to do your thing’s the hardest thing to do.” I know this is a hard time but hang in there my scale friends, eventually good stuff will start to happen and balance out this massive fertilizer avalanche you’ve been experiencing so far in 2018.

Scorpio- As the Monty Python Boys used to say, “No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!” In other words, get ready for some surprises this week as the Super Moon explodes like a Super Nova in your House of Dreams just as Mercury arrives in Aquarius at the bottom of your chart to align with Mars in your House of Self Worth. This will all be very exciting and things will no doubt happen quickly, although with Saturn and Pluto in your House of Mental Processes and Thinking you will no doubt try to wrap your mind around it all before you allow yourself even the smallest “OMG, I DON’T BELIEVE THIS!” Well, believe it. You have an opportunity now to make your life into anything you want, you could even fall in love, but no matter what happens your control issues will be seriously challenged. Therefore, take some time over the weekend to reflect and ask yourself the following question, “Where do I want to be in 5 years and is it possible to get there if I’m not willing to trust what’s happening now? Your sign rules death, so why not try to look at all these current unexpected happenings as a kind of “petite morte”, after all, don’t the French say such little deaths feel good?

Sagittarius- Sometimes enlightenment is like a cannon going off and other times it’s the sound of one hand clapping. The Super Moon this week will be in Leo and your House of Philosophy and it will oppose Mercury in Aquarius and your House of Day to Day Thinking. Simply put, on the one hand you will have the Super Moon in the Sun ruled sign of Leo showing what’s possible, and on the other hand you will have communicative Mercury in Aquarius, which rules the collective and the status quo. The ego versus the hive mind with both channeling a tremendous amount of energy into your sign just as Mars, the planet of action, comes charging in. Saturn and Pluto currently in your House of Self Worth represent structure and destruction respectively, so with Mars arriving and awaiting further orders from you there’s no getting around the fact that this is a time of personal revolution. So, what will your manifesto be and who will write it? Jupiter behind the scenes aligning with Pluto and Saturn represents the philosophical dilemma of wealth versus ethics, or the eternal struggle of the haves and the have not’s. Which do you feel like and are you ready to re-evaluate what you think you deserve?

Capricorn- There are two conflicting tendencies going on within you right now. The first is about what you think people expect of you, while the other is much more intimate and represents what you secretly long for but fear you may not deserve. At this time, The Sun, Venus, and Mercury in your House of Self Worth represent your outward desire to be successful, although it is important to recognize how much this ambition could also be the projection of some hidden approval issues. The Super Moon in Leo this week will be in your House of Intimacy and it will align with Mars behind the scenes to ignite some very strong passions in you now for a deep one on one relationship. The more you try to subvert this emotional longing into a material form, the more depressed and frustrated you will likely get, especially with Saturn and Pluto in your sign opposing your House of Partnerships. Any truly profound metamorphosis for you at this time will likely have to do with how you approach an intimate one on one relationship rather than how you detach from your emotions to negotiate the professional sphere. As a word to the wise Mr. Saturn would suggest, “The time to hesitate is through/no time to wallow in the mire.”

Aquarius- You have been focused on succeeding at one thing for so long now you apparently have forgotten that life is a full spectrum affair. Well, the Super Moon in your House of Relationships aligning with Mars in your House of Dreams will serve to remind you what’s what in dramatic fashion. In fact, you should hear Cupid laughing at just about the same time as you feel an unexpected sharp pain in your butt. “OMG!!! Have I been shot with an arrow!!” Surprise!!! Unlike in your career, which you have been directing with ruthless efficiency over the last few months, this love thing is going to present a big time challenge to all your control and vulnerability issues. You’re not used to being emotional, but with Neptune currently in your House of Self Worth, you might be pleasantly (or unpleasantly) surprised at just how mushy you can get. Whatever you do though, try not to turn an affair of the heart into a performance in any way, shape, or form. With the Sun and Venus currently in your sign you certainly have enough charm and charisma going for you now to get away with play-acting at being the lover, however, don’t underestimate the backlash (and ultimate regret on your part) if you engage someone else’s heart and then get cold feet. As the song goes, “What’s it all about when you sort it out, Alfie?/Are we meant to take more than we give/Or are we meant to be kind?”

Pisces- Jupiter in your House of Philosophy squaring Venus behind the scenes is going to make you even more sensitive than usual. Add to this the Super Moon aligning with Mars and Mercury and you will probably feel more courageous about expressing yourself emotionally than you ever have before. This will certainly go against type and the “cool” image you have previously cultivated, but that’s a good thing, maybe even a great thing. Neptune in your sign has had you lost in a fog for a while and no doubt in true Neptunian fashion you have instead tried to pretend like you really know what’s going on. It’s not only been a rollercoaster ride for you, but for everyone that cares about you as well. The good news is that while Neptune can be about illusion, it can also be about enlightenment. So if we now go back to the square of Jupiter and Venus, we can start to see that the action of Jupiter in your House of Philosophy is trying to clear up some of that Neptunian confusion surrounding the nature of your feelings. This is because with Venus in the universal and unemotional sign of Aquarius, you are being given some guidance in how to get passed the confinement of your fear so that you may experience the strength, vulnerability, and forgiveness necessary to fully experience true love. And like the song say’s, “All You Need is Love”….Dah, da da da da….

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #20 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/22 – 1/28, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/22 – 1/28, 2018

Hi kids!!! The Sun is now solidly in the sign of Aquarius and as the song goes,

“Harmony and understanding

Sympathy and trust abounding

No more falsehoods or derisions

Golden living dreams of visions

Mystic crystal revelations

And the mind’s true liberation…”

Yeah, right, first though we’ll have to get over this current “Fire and Fury,” reopen the government, and then decide which form of “shit story” we want to believe. No puedo!!!

Aries- With the power couple of The Sun and Venus in your House of Groups this week you need to get out there and work the room! I know you think networking can be phony, but that’s only if you’re a charlatan. With Mercury approaching a conjunction with Pluto in your House of Career you are nothing short of a stone cold killer now, except with a fashion sense, charm, and integrity. In fact you’ll probably be the sharpest tool in any shed you find yourself in at this time, so make sure you ninja up and subtly make sushi out of whatever (and whoever) stands in your way. The arc of the Moon this week begins in your sign and then continues through your Houses of Earnings and Communication, meaning get out and “do you” without any apologies, and remember the line from Glengarry Glen Ross, “A-B-C… A-Always, B-Be, C-Closing… Always be closing, always be closing.”

Taurus- Mercury and Pluto are getting thick as thieves in your House of Philosophy right now, meaning your “Spidey Sense” will be tingling like crazy and you’ll feel like you just know stuff before it happens. Add Jupiter in Scorpio and your House of Relationships to the aforementioned mix and no one will be able to escape your X-ray vision. No one. Later in the week when Mars enters Sagittarius and opposes the Moon in Gemini make sure you don’t feel too much sympathy for someone close to you that has just made a mistake you knew they were going to make. With all your power of insight now, realize that how you dole out your sympathy in this situation will mark an important evolutionary step for you in terms of being able to shut down manipulative people who try to take advantage of your good nature. Mr. Saturn say’s, “the bait and switch works because the mark takes the bait.” Nuff said!!!

Gemini- It is one thing to see through other people’s BS, it is quite another matter if what they’re doing throws you off your game so that you end up playing by their rules. Mercury and Pluto will join hands in your House of Transformation midweek and together these two represent penetrating insight. Add to this an alignment with Jupiter and any secrets discovered at this time could turn into some very valuable knowledge for the future. However, keep in mind, if this knowledge doesn’t translate into a sense of self-empowerment for you then it’s merely data. You must realize that what needs to change here is not someone else’s bad (that’s their karma). To really benefit from discovering someone else’s manipulations or bad behaviour you must be able to see how what they’ve done is a way to help you realize your own truth. When Mars moves into Sagittarius and opposes the Moon on your relationship axis just before the weekend, make sure that you’re not blaming anyone else for what’s going on if it’s you who are giving your power away.

Cancer- With the impending conjunction of Mercury and Pluto in your House of Relationships about to align with Jupiter in your House of Creativity, the important thing now is to rethink how you interact with others. Not in terms of any surface behavior, but rather how you feel about yourself before a face-to-face even occurs. The power couple of Venus and the Sun now transiting through your House of Transformation will suggest you set aside your emotional shoulder bag and all the heavy stuff it contains from the past. As Mars enters your House of Work over the weekend let its newly acquired Sagittarius optimism inspire you to action. Try not to hesitate because of the fear you sense in others who still have hang-ups you outgrew long ago. This can be a turnaround week for you philosophically if you can just try to behave like you’re at a New Orleans funeral. In other words, bury the sadness from the past and turn the dirge that accompanied your entrance into a jazzy theme for your exit.

Leo- All of the fixed signs can be oblivious at times, but you Lion people can really take that clueless ball and run with it. As a result, the Mercury/Pluto conjunction this week in your House of Daily Routines could really end up being a slap in the face that you don’t see coming. With Jupiter in Scorpio moving through your House of Family, don’t be surprised if one or more of your relatives have a bone to pick with you. Of course you’ll react badly because you won’t know what they’re talking about. Let me spell it out for you. The Lunar Arc this week goes from Aries through Taurus to Gemini, or from selfishness to responsibility to adapting. In other words, it’s time to shift your priorities from what’s easy to what’s necessary because you’ve been taking someone else’s efforts for granted and they’re done with your sense of entitlement. As the Moon ends the week in Cancer and your House of Confinement, you’re likely going to feel that these recent criticisms directed at you have been unfair and your accusers are cold and insensitive. Try to realize (if you can) that this is not about what you’ve done, but what you haven’t done. Try a little humility instead of being righteous and in all likelihood you’ll be forgiven. Like the Beatles sang, “Man I was mean but I’m changing my scene and I’m doing the best that I can.”

Virgo- You could very well have an “aha” moment this week regarding a creative challenge. If that’s the case, thank Mr. Mercury and Mr. Pluto for all their great investigative work. Of course Jupiter in your House of Thinking and Communication was also instrumental in this epiphany, not to mention the Sun and Venus in detached Aquarius for helping you to put your frustration aside and keep your nose to the grindstone. Of course this doesn’t mean they’ll be blue skies from now on, especially since Mars will be entering your House of Home and on its arrival will oppose a Gemini Moon in your House of Public Image. Foggy Neptune is involved in this meeting as well as he throws in his two cents from your House of Relationships. You can’t be all things for all people so determine some priorities for yourself and be matter of fact with those who want to drink your blood. Mr. Saturn’s Haiku this week is for you;

“Doing for others

What they should do themselves is

A control issue”

Libra- The Magickal term that will describe this week for you is “Crossing the Abyss.” In a nutshell this means that you’ll likely have to let go of something old so that something new can come into your life. This probably sounds cool, but most people are very attached to who they have learned to be in order to fit in with everyone else, therefore, this transition might end up being really uncomfortable based on the reactions you get from others. I know this isn’t necessarily good news for you endlessly equivocating Libra folk, but you’ll probably realize it was all for the best on the back end. Mercury and Pluto conjunct in your House of Symbolic Foundations could signal some really important discoveries, especially since they both align with Jupiter in your House of Self Worth. This could mean a possible windfall of cash or an unusual opportunity. It could also be a meaningful transition, like when Dr. Bruce Banner turns into the Incredible Hulk. Granted, he does usually lose a set of clothes, but on the other hand he also gains super powers. Sounds stressful, I know, which is why Mr. Saturn feels you deserve a haiku this week;

“You can’t expect what

Will set you free, only hope

That you accept it”

Scorpio- The natural detective in you will likely be inspired to come out this week, so, what do you think you might find? Well, Mr. Saturn ain’t gonna be no spoiler and ruin a good mystery, but as a hint you should pay attention to Mercury and Pluto digging around in your House of Education and communicating with Jupiter in your sign. The Lunar Arc going from your House of Work through your House of Partnerships and then into your house of Legacies could mean…uh-uh, no more hints. Oh, okay…Somebody may want to reward your good work with something nice….nuff said!!! The Sun and Venus are playing house in your Home and Family area, which could mean your investigative skills could be directed toward some home decorating, or you could end up having a guest for a while. Just make sure you set some boundaries with this person so you don’t have to discover something bad about them that you didn’t know before. Then again, that’s what makes a good mystery; the detective never suspects where the original crime will lead. As the song goes, “I don’t know how much more of this I can take/ She’s filing her nails while they’re dragging the lake….”

Sagittarius- Pay attention to the writing on the wall this week and you just might be able to uncover some information that could help you dodge a bullet that’s being aimed at your back by someone you thought was a friend. Jupiter in your House of Secrets will act as a protective influence, thereby allowing you to follow with impunity the lead being forged by Mercury and Pluto in solid Capricorn as they investigate behind the scenes to uncover whatever it is you need to know. The Lunar Arc this week would further suggest you being the detective as it crosses your Houses of Creativity, Work, and Partnerships, meaning you could stand to benefit in all three areas. When Mars enters your sign at the end of the week it will oppose the Moon in your House of Relationships, reiterating what was mentioned earlier about defending yourself from some slanderous rumors being circulated by a dubious source. Nebulous Neptune will also be involved here so Mr. Saturn would suggest following this sage advice, “Use all your well-learned politesse/ Or I’ll lay your soul to waste, mm yeah.”

Capricorn- With Mercury and Pluto coming together in your sign this week the time has come when you need to look people in the eye and shoot straight at the target. Jupiter in your House of Groups is aligning solidly with this need for honesty, so make sure you do the right thing even if it seems like it might lead to a hassle. Whether you realize it or not others are looking to your lead so trust your instincts and people will trust you. The Sun and Venus are a power couple in your House of Earned Income now so make sure you “do you” without any apologies and you should see your brand escalate in value right before your eyes. Later in the week Mars will enter your House of Confinement and oppose a Gemini Moon in your House of Work. After the principled stand you made to start the week try to refrain now from either being overly opportunistic or slipping into a sort of lazy limbo where you feel you have somehow earned the right to coast for awhile on your accomplishments. As Grace Slick once sang, “Two Heads can be put together/ And you can fill both your feet with sand/No one will know you’ve gutted your mind/ But what will you do with your bloody hands?”

Aquarius- On the surface you’re all charm and glitz right now due to the fact that both the Sun and Venus are cake walking through your sign. Behind the scenes though Mercury and Pluto are rummaging around for something deeper and less ephemeral than the shiny sequins of Venus. Jupiter in your House of Public Image and Career will continue to puff up these illusions, yet at the same time the King of the Planets is also slipping deeper into the shadows being opened up by the investigations of both Mercury and Pluto. Simply put, this is a time of initiation for you so try not to accept much of anything at face value. There is both an angel and a devil within you right now that needs to be dealt with and the one that wins will be the one you feed. Just remember Robert Mitchum’s murderous character in “The Night of the Hunter” when he exhibits the tattoos of Love and Hate on his fingers and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

Pisces- Neptune rules both illusion and higher consciousness and as this foggy planet currently transits through your sign it should not be unusual for you to have alternating experiences of both profound confusion and liberating enlightenment. The second of these two states will likely begin your week as the Sun and Venus infuse your inner depths with a sense of universal love. Meanwhile, a Mercury/Pluto conjunction in your House of Dreams will alternately provide you with a deep awareness of your responsibilities. You know clearly at this time what the right thing to do is and, amazingly enough, you will likely try your best to do it. Jupiter in your House of Philosophy will motivate you to rise to the occasion for a loved one, which will probably play out in real time as Mars enters noble Sagittarius just before the weekend and you square off with someone whose questionable behavior you can no longer ignore. The Lunar Arc will give you a temporary respite from some recent financial difficulties, so don’t be surprised if you become the recipient of some timely generosity, either through an unusual opportunity or an unexpected gift.

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #19 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/15- 1/21, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/15 – 1/21, 2018

Hi kids!!! Glad to have y’all back at Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“Faith is self confidence when the self has been surrendered.”

-Aleister Crowley

Aries- With a new Moon in Capricorn pairing up with Venus in your House of Career and squaring Uranus transiting through your sign, you’re no doubt feeling impatient with others this week, however, be careful. No one wants to have anything Rammed down their throats, even if it is something they’ll eventually come to love and need. A little patience will be advantageous to your current ideas of manifest destiny, so take your lead from judicious Jupiter in Scorpio as he aligns nicely with Pluto, the Ruler of Hidden Wealth. Mr. Saturn is also in your House of Career and he and Mercury have concocted a very practical plan for you. The only rub is that Mercury has been dispatched to deliver this important news to you on a goat and even though these friendly yet stubborn creatures are quite hardy, they are not particularly fast with a payload. Later in the week when the Sun and Venus enter Aquarius you’ll likely be busy with a group or organization that just can’t do without you. Listen to Mr. Saturn when he says, “forget what you might not have yet, fabulous certainly counts for something.”

Taurus- You could be struggling this week with making a commitment to either a person or a situation as the New Moon in Capricorn joins up with Venus and squares Uranus. If you’re worried about how this choice may limit your sovereignty or personal freedom perhaps you should first ask yourself what those concepts actually mean to you? The people and circumstances in our lives are supposed to change us; it’s called “evolution.” Are you willing to let someone or something change you or do you think you can bend the universe to your ego (or fear)? Jupiter and Mars in your House of Relationships aligning with Pluto in your House of Philosophy are debating this issue, however, there will be no winner or loser in this discussion if you have confidence in yourself. Just accept that change is inevitable and if it is love that has come knocking on your door, well…Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you.

“If Love comes knocking

Let it in, you will always

Learn something useful”

Gemini- While the Sun, Moon, Venus, Pluto, Mercury, and Saturn are all in your House of Death, Resurrection, and Legacies this week, your commitments and responsibilities both at work and at home will be in need of immediate attention. Initially this will annoy you as Uranus in your House of Dreams will instead want to step out and play, however, duty will win out as Jupiter and Mars in your House of Routines align with Neptune to tug on your heartstrings and make sure you do the right thing. The only question that remains is have you been motivated to these tasks by love or guilt, or both? Reflecting on the answer to this may result in some disturbing moments as your dark side briefly rears its ugly head, but don’t worry, when the Sun and Venus cross over into Aquarius your secret will be safe and no one will suspect your behind the scenes meltdown. As Mr. Saturn will remind you, “no one wants to hear about the labor pains, they just want to see the baby.”

Cancer- A stellium of Capricorn Planets in your House of Relationships this week could cause you to feel overwhelmed with responsibility for those you care about. Jupiter and Mars in your House of Creativity will make it possible for you to draw on some very deep resources to take care of whatever dilemmas are facing you and yours, however, be careful that you don’t completely exhaust yourself in the process of trying to be “A Man (or Woman) For All Seasons.” With Uranus in harsh angle to all those aforementioned Capricorn planets there is also the distinct possibility that you could make the mistake of doing something for someone they should be doing for themselves. As a result, you could end up creating some unexpected (and unnecessary) problems for yourself. Because he hates saying “I told you so,” Mr. Saturn will instead comment to no one in particular (are you listening?) “No good deed goes unpunished…..” Nuff said!!!

Leo- The difference between fear and courage is mostly based on how you feel about yourself. The symbol for Leo is the Lion and, as a result, it is probably the sign of the zodiac most associated with courage. On the other hand Leo is a fixed sign so it can also be associated with inflexibility and dogma, which can sometimes lead to an unwillingness to upset the status quo for fear of losing one’s position. With a logjam of Capricorn planets in your House of Work being squared by Uranus, it is quite likely that you are currently being taken advantage of on the job and the time has come for you to stop being scared of what you might lose and instead speak up. Of course now we’re back to fear or courage being based on how you feel about yourself. Mr. Saturn would suggest you give a listen to the Tom Petty song that goes, “Well I know what’s right/ I got just one life/ In a world that keeps on pushin’ me around/ I’ll stand my ground/ And I won’t back down.”

Virgo- Rebellion is often the result of first having given your power away so that you can prove your worthiness by taking it back. This is a subtle psychological point that often goes unrecognized by all those angry young rebels out there who are projecting their fear and anger on the rest of the world in order to prove something. You need to realize you are no longer a boy or a girl and no one is forcing you to do anything. With 6 planets in Capricorn in your House of Creativity squaring Uranus in your House of Shared Resources, you have come to a threshold of understanding now and whether you do something or not should be based on what you want and not what someone else can manipulate you into. Make sure you are choosing your path based on love not on anger. Once you realize this it may be easier than expected to make a dream come true. As the song goes, “No one you can save that can’t be saved/ Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be in time/ It’s easy/All you need is love…”

Libra- A traffic jam of planets in Capricorn and your House of Symbolic Foundations are all squaring individualistic Uranus and probably making you feel as if your whole world is shifting it’s axis and turning upside down. Jupiter and Mars in your House of Self Worth are offering some help, but because they’re in the sign of Scorpio now they could likely be an indication of inner attainment rather than outer manifestation, which is exactly what you need to realize right now even if that awareness is not currently making you feel any better. Because this is essentially a time of inner evolution it is important that you accept what’s happening and let it guide your decisions rather than clinging to an exterior comfort zone that’s no longer realistic. As another Libra once wrote in his book, “Psychedelic Prayers,”

“The seed of mystery

Lies in muddy water

How can we fathom the muddiness?

Water becomes clear through stillness

How can we become still?

By moving with the stream”

Scorpio- This is a time of attainment for you, yet because you’re a sign that’s ruled by the extremes of the eagle and the scorpion, which in turn represent both the Saint and the Sinner respectively, what you seek could very well be a spiritual accomplishment just as easily as it could be a material one. Either way though it’s going to be about “walking the walk” and not just “talking the talk,” meaning there are no shortcuts for what you want no matter how impatient your naturally intense nature may get. A crowd of planets in Capricorn and your House of Intellect are currently working with Jupiter and Mars in your sign, as well as Neptune in your House of Creativity, which would all indicate that your inherent wisdom will likely take the evolutionary steering wheel away from your naturally desirous temperament so that no matter what you end up with you will attain a true Mastery of yourself in the process. As the song goes, “Come all without, come all within/ You’ll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn”

Sagittarius- The Second House is usually referred to as the “House of Earned Income,” though I prefer to call it the House of Self Worth because you usually won’t earn anymore than you feel you’re worth, a distinction that clearly puts the power of the house squarely in your hands. With a traffic jam of Capricorn Planets currently in your Second House the question you need to ask yourself is, do you feel you are getting what you’re worth from whoever is employing your services? Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio and your House of What’s Hidden are giving you everything from headaches to gas pains as they debate this matter with foggy, illusory Neptune down at the bottom of your chart. It won’t be until later in the week when the Sun, Venus, and the Moon all move into Aquarius and your House of Communication that you’ll finally be able to make out what Jupiter and Mars have been trying to tell you through the cloud of Neptune’s white noise. Hopefully at that point you’ll finally decide to start working with Uranus in your House of Creativity to begin actively seeking a situation worthy of your talents. Then you’ll be able to sing this Jackson Browne song to whoever’s been using you, “And then you’ll have to eat your lunch all by yourself/ Cause I’m already gone.”

Capricorn- The week will begin with 6 planets in your sign (including a New Moon) with all of them led by your ruler, Mr. Saturn. If that isn’t a mandate for some serious shit I don’t know what is. In addition, Jupiter and Mars will be supporting this goat-fest from your House of Groups, meaning it’s likely you’ll be a force to be reckoned with either at work or within whatever organizations you belong to or gatherings you attend. Uranus at the bottom of your chart could, in some instances, be a disruptive or rebellious influence, but with all that responsible Capricorn energy going on it’s more likely that the planet of freedom will give you a unique sense of purpose as you leap from one challenge to another like the mountain goat you are. When the Sun, Venus, and the Moon enter Aquarius later in the week they’ll be in your House of Self Worth, which should help you feel more connected to what’s going on around you and thereby more receptive than usual to the needs of others. Donate your time to someone in need, you’ll be glad you did.

Aquarius- There is so much you feel you want to do, but where to begin? Mr. Saturn and 5 other planets are behind the scenes in your chart like a board of directors trying to plot a course for your manifest destiny, meanwhile Uranus is kicking ass and taking the names of anyone who so much as breathes a word of disagreement or negativity anywhere near you. Ambition like this can sometimes have the negative effect of turning those who could help you into adversaries, however, it’s lucky for you that Venus and the Sun will be entering your sign later in the week to provide you with just the charm you’ll need to convince even the crustiest cynic to crack a smile and enjoy the show. Jupiter and Mars in your House of the Public would suggest you’ll acquire whatever it is you’re pursuing (after all, who could resist you?) just make sure you’re also taking the time to connect with your audience and not just looking at them as numbers to be tallied on that big scoreboard of your ego. As the song goes, “Mr. Big Stuff, who do you think you are?”

Pisces- With Neptune in your sign you most certainly have a vision of what you want for the future, but with 6 planets in Capricorn transiting through your House of Dreams what’s important now is that you start taking care of the nuts and bolts tasks necessary to turn these dreams into a reality. Uranus in your House of Self Worth will attempt to distract you from your appointed rounds, although try to realize that any feelings of rebellion you may have at this time are probably nothing more than veiled excuses that are masking a deep sense of insecurity and a lack of self confidence about what you’re capable of. Later in the week as Venus and the Sun enter your House of Secrets make sure you take the time for some healthy introspection. Share your feelings with a trusted family member or even a professional therapist. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable, it is actually a sign of strength. As the song goes,

“What would you think if I sang out of tune?

Would you stand up and walk out on me?

Lend me your ears and I’ll sing you a song

And I’ll try not to sing out of key”

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #18 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/8 -1/14, 2018

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/8 – 1/14, 2018

Hi kids!!! Welcome back again to Mr. Saturn’s Stars.

“Within the province of the mind, what I believe to be true is true or becomes true, within the limits to be found experientially and experimentally. These limits are further beliefs to be transcended.”

– John C. Lilly M.D.

Aries- At the beginning of the week Venus transiting through your House of Career and Public Image will be like Liza Minnelli performing the song “New York, New York.” First she will flirt with a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Legacies, then she’ll partner up with Pluto and the Sun for a smashing crescendo that will likely light up your future in a way that you didn’t expect. Next Mercury will cross your mid-heaven and join Saturn in Capricorn, which should bring some important news. This message may not be fabulous but it will be important in terms of giving you some confirmations about your long-term visions that you’ve been keeping to yourself. The Lunar Arc for the week may re-introduce a partnership that has been drifting or perhaps bring in a new influence that will help you let go of a dream that has faded. In the words of Led Zep, “Ramble On.”

Taurus- How much are you willing to change your life for someone? With a Sun/Venus/Pluto conjunction aligning with a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Partnerships to start the week, someone is going to put you through some paces you never thought you’d go through. Could this be love, destiny, or perhaps even the emergence of your truly mystical higher self? Who knows? But you may just be willing to get on a plane, train, or even a spaceship for this journey to a far corner of the world (or your mind). Of course Mr. Saturn is laughing, but with you not at you. After all, he knows him some Taurus’s and he’s just as pleased as punch that you’re finally willing to lighten up and let go for once. “Like the song say’s, “Turn off your mind, relax, and float downstream….it is not dying….”

Gemini- With the Sun, Venus, and Pluto all conjunct in your House of Transformation the deeper mysteries of life, death, and the universe will hold a profound fascination for you at this time. Perhaps a life-changing event like a birth or the passing of someone has set off this contemplative mood? Nevertheless, with Jupiter and Mars conjunct in Scorpio and your House of Daily Routines you will be looking to bring more meaning into your life on a nuts and bolts level. The Lunar Arc this week will begin in your House of Creativity and end in your House of Partnerships. This could cause you to question the nature of a relationship and ultimately confront the other party on exactly where you are both headed as a couple. Unless this relationship can start yielding certain out comes, you have to start asking yourself, what is the point?

Cancer- You intuitively feel that you have recently embarked upon a very important period in your life, kind of like Hiawatha heading in his canoe toward the sunrise and the symbolic spirit world. With the Sun, Venus, and Pluto all in your House of Relationships, you are also well aware that the time has come to evaluate many of the people in your life and start to determine who can fit in the canoe with you and who can’t. Jupiter and Mars now in Scorpio and your House of Creativity are causing a deep tremor of creative inspiration to well up from the depths of your soul and you are clearly aware that you are awakening to a deeper and richer world of inspiration and meaning than you ever thought was possible. This transformation will be mixed with both pain and pleasure so it is imperative for you to commit to the urgings of your Higher Self and persevere! Mr. Saturn’s haiku this week is for you;

“Destiny is the

Inheritance we get from

Fate after a choice”

Leo- This is a time when great responsibility is looming and it is important for you to take care of business. The tricky part is that you could very well shirk what is expected of you with some very reasonable excuses, yet you know what the truth is. As a result, this time is more a matter of personal honor rather than anyone demanding anything of you or trying to make you feel guilty. Do you have what it takes? The Sun, Venus, and Pluto all conjunct in your House of Daily Responsibilities is about walking the walk and not just talking the talk, while Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Home and Family should be seen as a warning that what you neglect now will likely come back at some point in the future like a contract assassin you can’t escape. As Russell Crow told his troops in Gladiator, “What we do here echoes in eternity!”

Virgo- This is an interesting time for you Virgins, the world is your suitor and you can either play the situation like an actual virgin or like an experienced vixen, which will it be? The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in Capricorn and your House of Romance would suggest you act more like Scarlett O’Hara than Melanie Hamilton, while Jupiter and Mars in your House of Communication are telling you to quietly and confidently go out and get whatever it is you want. The Lunar Arc this week will further reiterate the theme of self worth and accomplishment as it begins in your House of Self Worth and ends in the House of Creativity. As Southside Johnny used to sing, “They say there’s a limit to endurance/I know that I haven’t reached mine/All I want is everything!”

Libra- One of the great illusions of the American Dream is that of rugged individualism, simply because very little of true and lasting value is ever accomplished in this life without “A Little Help From My Friends.” Of course those who would seek to divide us promote the myths of glorious loners and rebels, simply because if we can ever learn to trust each other and work together we might displace those very folks who are misleading us. This is a lesson you will learn in spades this week as The Sun, Pluto, and Venus in your House of Family and Foundations align with Jupiter and Mars in your House of Self Worth, making this is a time where you might be asked to sacrifice something for a greater good. Mr. Saturn suggests you consider those you love and need as well as those who love and need you and likely you’ll come to understand what true strength (and success) is really about.

Scorpio- In Zen the term “Satori” describes the epiphany of seeing one’s true nature. This moment of truth has come for you as the Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Thinking align with Jupiter and Mars in your House of Self. It is not necessary that any bells or whistles go off when this enlightenment happens, in fact it might even come for you very undramatically in a quiet moment alone. The important thing is that you let this current of truth rise upwards from the core of your being. The Lunar Arc this week further indicates that this current will likely be stirred as a result of some confusion or disappointment that you’ll eventually realize was intended to break down your comfort zone so your true self would be forced to act. As this Arc culminates, the Moon will be in your House of Self Worth, meaning that you will finally come to the realization that to change the world you must first change the way you perceive it. As the song goes, “Can you picture what will be, so limitless and free, desperately in need of a stranger’s hand in a desperate land?”

Sagittarius- With the Moon starting the week in Libra and your House of Dreams, you might find yourself assessing your lot in life and questioning why can’t things be different? The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Self Worth are a powerful trio and together they are all about attainment and transformation, so the energy for change is there if you want it. Jupiter and Mars in your House of Secrets and the cathartic sign of Scorpio are symbolic of a deep inner drive to evolve, a process that you have been repressing for far too long. Neptune will continue to linger for a while in your House of Family and it is important for you to realize that this watery planet of inspirations and illusions is all about breaking through the veils that separate us from the truth of ourselves. To quote the words from a song by a fellow Sag, “Who scared you and why were you born?”

Capricorn- There comes a time in one’s life when you just feel beyond the shadow of a doubt that a certain thing will come to pass. This knowing is not a loud voice from within, but a quiet, penetrating one, like the vocals in the song “Riders on the Storm” by the doors. You may not even see immediate results for this feeling, yet some unexpected things will inevitably occur because you are being spoken to from a world where your dreams are already a reality. The Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all conjunct in your sign this week and as they align with Jupiter and Mars in Scorpio and your House of Dreams, consider this quote from Chuang Tzu, “Once upon a time I dreamt I was a butterfly….Soon I awakened, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.”

Aquarius- Though a palace may be beautiful and visible from afar, its foundations are invisible. Yet without its foundations, the palace cannot stand. Whatever successes you may have recently experienced with Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Career, they are no indication of where you are going next if you do not have a firm footing at present with which to proceed. The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of What is Hidden would speak to making sure your foundations for future endeavors are not only secure, but flexible enough to allow for further growth or even a change of direction. With this in mind, as Mercury enters Capricorn to join Mr. Saturn, it is important for you to try and be pragmatic in the hope that you will come to realize how taking one step backward can be quite helpful if it provides the momentum for taking two steps forward.

Pisces- “In Dreams Begin Responsibilities” is a short story by the late Delmore Schwartz whose title serendipitously speaks to a theme that should be of special interest to you this week. This is because the Sun, Venus, and Pluto (three transformative planets) conjunct in Capricorn (one very pragmatic sign) are all in your House of Dreams and angling in a positive way with Jupiter and Mars conjunct in Scorpio and your House of Philosophy. In layman’s terms this means that whatever you hope to gain in your climb to the proverbial mountaintop will be directly relative to the amount of discomfort you are willing to endure, especially in terms of all the unglamorous chores that exist behind the scenes on every path to success. Saturn and Mercury are also in your House of Hopes and Dreams and together they represent the unexpected benefits of insight and character that are possible when you’re willing to deal responsibly with those difficult or distasteful elements that are sometimes an unfortunate part of doing something we love. Mr. Saturn say’s, “If you are doing what you like then any difficulties that arise are valid.” Nuff said!

Mr. Saturn’s Stars #17 Weekly Horoscopes for 1/1-1/7, 2017

Weekly Horoscopes for 1/1 – 1/7, 2018

Hi Kids!!! Happy New Year!!! Welcome back to Mr. Saturn’s Stars. Before starting the Weekly Horoscopes for 2018, I would first like to take a moment to recount a little story that happened to me at the end of last year during the week between Christmas and New Years.

After putting away a couple of courses at an all-you-can-eat buffet that I was attending with my wife and her family, I eventually decided to get myself some dessert. When I went over to the ice cream station I encountered a Little Old Man in a hoody and a baseball hat standing there with an empty bowl in his hands and a very confused look on his face. I waited behind him for a moment but when I realized he wasn’t on line and was just standing there I said, “Excuse me” and went around him. “There’s no scoopers,” he said, and upon surveying the situation I could see the Old Guy was right. I looked around to see if there was an employee nearby who could help us, but the ice cream counter was situated in a far corner of the restaurant and there was no one around. It was then I suddenly remembered my unused spoon back at the table so I went to get it. The Little Old Man was still standing there with his bowl when I returned and once again he announced, “There’s no scoopers.” While I used the spoon I brought back from the table to serve myself some ice cream, I casually remarked to the Old Fellow, “Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands.” When I was finished serving myself I said, “goodbye” to him, but all he did was continue to stand there in silence with his bowl and stare at the ice cream.

When I returned to the table and repeated this incident to my wife she replied, “Wow, that’s a wonderful metaphor of life, you should include it in Mr. Saturn. Needless to say I followed her advice, which makes the moral of this New Year’s story for me, “Listen to your wife.”

Aries- As the year begins, ambition will be your middle name with The Sun, Venus, and Pluto all moving together through your House of Career to align with Jupiter and Mars holding hands in your House of Death and Transformation. You are resourceful and persistent at this time and with a Super Full Moon in Cancer in your House of Foundations you will also be feeling an almost biological imperative to establish something new for yourself that will stand the test of time. On the second of January, Uranus will go station/direct in your sign, which should help you turn some of last years frustration into originality and a new sense of panache for 2018. Mr. Saturn would say, “You’re trending!”

Taurus- The Lunar Arc this week through the lowest part of your chart will activate some deep seeded feelings of longing that should inspire you to re-visit some dreams you have been procrastinating about for far too long. This could involve either establishing a new home base or beginning a new career direction as The Sun, Venus, and Pluto are all activating the part of you that wants to make your mark in the world by establishing something both progressive meaningful. With Mercury moving direct toward Uranus and a Super Full Moon in your House of Thinking it is also important that you are willing to bend or even break some rules now to get yourself out of the logical and comfortable rut you’re luxuriating in. Mr. Saturn say’s, “it’s not about what you can get away with, it’s about what you need to get away from.”

Gemini- The Super Full Moon that starts this week will be in the sign of Cancer and your House of Self Worth. This could be either a recipe for insecurity or a rallying cry for success as this Super Moon opposes The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in your House of Transformation and trines a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio. Sometimes fear motivates people to do remarkable things and at other times it freezes them in their tracks. Usually it all boils down to what you feel you have to lose; and we’re not talking about your material status, we’re talking about you’re spiritual and emotional net worth if you are letting yourself be defined by the approval of others. Also be careful mid-week that you don’t bite off your nose to spite your face as a Leo Moon aligns with a stationing Uranus in Aries, a fire combo that can be about irrationality as much as rebelliousness.

Cancer- With a stellium of Planets (specifically The Sun, Venus, and Pluto) in your House of Relationships opposing the Super Full Moon in your sign, this is a week that will reveal both how much others will need from you as well as how new situations will offer some unexpected solutions to some old problems. Mercury in your House of Daily Routines approaching a station/direct Uranus in your House of Public Image should certainly bring some surprises, not the least of which will be the swiftness with which circumstances can change. A Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Creativity aligning with Neptune should also bring some surprises, specifically how fast your intuition works as it deftly parry’s and returns one blow after another as fate prepares you for the destiny you’ve always dreamed of.

Leo- With the Super Full Moon lighting your inner recesses like a roman candle and a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in your House of Symbolic Foundations rumbling like an earthquake, who (or what) is to blame if your soul is feeling unsettled and your life seems on shaky ground? The logjam of Capricorn Planets in your House of Work and routines would suggest you’d like to blame it on your boss or anyone else who is expecting anything from you, while Mercury moving quickly toward Uranus would suggest it’s probably anyone who’d remind you that the only one responsible for what happens in your life and how you feel is you. Neptune in your House of Transformation would further indicate that whichever answer you choose you’ll still feel miserable, so Mr. Saturn would suggest blaming yourself because at least that way you’d be in charge and that’s where you Leo folks always want to be.

Virgo- This is a week for doing, not talking. A Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio and your House of Communication working with The Sun, Venus, and Pluto in Capricorn and your House of Creativity (as well as Neptune in your House of Relationships) should collectively motivate you to talk softly but carry a big stick. The Super Full Moon in Cancer will probably make you more tolerant (and patient) than usual and Mercury in Sagittarius approaching Uranus should make you as sharp as a razor in order to slice through whatever bullsh*t may come your way while leaving a minimum of blood on the floor. The Lunar Arc this week will also aid you in realizing that you’re probably more in control of your life than you’ve ever been before. All Mr. Saturn has to say at this point is, “High five!”

Libra- This week a Super Full Moon in Cancer will form a Grand Trine with both a Mars/Jupiter conjunction in your House of Self Worth and Neptune in your House of Work and Daily Routines, which means you are probably feeling inspired to move forward with either your career in general or a creative project you have high hopes for. However, as the song goes, “Turn, turn, turn, there is a time for every purpose under heaven…” meaning that The Sun, Venus, and Pluto marching now through Capricorn and your Home sector may be requiring you to focus your energies elsewhere for the time being. Saturn is also there in your House of Home and that should help you to realize beyond the shadow of a doubt that whatever seems to be holding back the Dream Express for you at this time is an absolutely necessary delay, in fact it is an evolutionary precursor for whatever it is you are hoping to be. So, have a glass of wine with Mr. Saturn and sing along, “Time, time, time, is on my side, yes it is….”

Scorpio- You have so many good ideas now it’s like a convention of fireflies in a shady grove on a hot summer night. Don’t let inspiration pass without action at this time and be a dreamer with a house full of travel brochures who has never went anywhere. A Jupiter /Mars conjunction will be exact in your sign this week, which in turn forms a powerful Grand Trine with the Super Moon in your House of Ideas and Neptune in your House of Creativity. Make the time to play, create, or even howl at the moon if you’d like because if you’re feeling it in your heart then it is necessary to share it with someone. A stellium of planets in practical Capricorn will help you think all this through and make it real, just make sure you’re following your bliss.

Sagittarius- The Super Moon in Cancer that starts the week is in your House of Legacies, meaning either your Mama is leaving you a lot of dough or you’ve been sacrificing a lot of yourself and hoping there’s an afterlife to make up for it. The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Mr. Saturn all in Capricorn and your House of Self Worth are combining with Neptune in your House of Family to set the bar of responsibility quite high for you, making you feel as if you’re pole vaulter in the Olympics hoping for a medal. Mercury coming into alignment with a soon to be direct Uranus in your House of Creativity should serve as an inspiration for you to break out of this approval rut and leave someone else to clean up after the users (and abusers) in your life, although it could also mean that you’ll pride yourself inordinately at being able to bend over backwards like a circus contortionist to impress these ignoramuses. In addition, Jupiter and Mars in your House of Confinement are like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid trying to bust out of jail, although any decent historian (or even Mr. Saturn) will tell you, “they were never in jail together.” Think on that one for a while.

Capricorn- The Relationship Axis in your chart is overloaded with The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Saturn all in your sign opposing the Cancer Super Full Moon in your House of Partnerships. Are you sweet on anybody now?, Is anyone sweet on you? Have you even noticed? Jupiter in your House of Friends aligning with Neptune in your House of Communication could mean someone you think of as just a friend may secretly like you a whole lot more. Or perhaps someone has been sending you some pretty clear signals and you’re just oblivious? As Mercury in your House of Confinement moves into an eventual alignment with Uranus, you could finally come to realize all the defense mechanisms and walls you’ve set up around yourself under the guise of being “too busy” and “having no time” are just excuses for being too chicken to open your heart. “Awww,” say’s Mr. Saturn, “why I bet plenty of people would like to get to know a sweetie pie like you.” Nuff said!

Aquarius- The Sun, Venus, Pluto, and Saturn operating now behind the scenes in your chart all represent the weight of responsibility hanging heavily on your shoulders. At the same time Mercury moving through your House of Groups toward Uranus in your House of Communication is all about exploring every possible angle to create solutions. The Super Full Moon in Cancer this week has you worrying whether or not you’re up to these current challenges, however, Neptune in your House of Earned Income could very well save the day by providing you with an unusual opportunity to acquire some much needed cash. Likewise, Jupiter and Mars conjunct in your House of Career should give you all the drive and courage you should need to see you through these difficult times. It might seem like you’re at the Alamo, but as the song goes, “We are the champions, my friend, and we’ll keep on fighting to the end!”

Pisces- As long as Neptune remains in your sign the challenge will be to stay grounded, not only in regards to your long term goals but in terms of your day to day existence as well. The Sun, Venus, Pluto and Saturn in your House of Dreams will help to keep your nose to the grindstone and make sure things stay organized, while a Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Scorpio will motivate you to remain focused. Mercury in your House of Career moving into an eventual alignment with Uranus in your House of Earned Income later in the week could bring some unexpected or unusual ways to make a little extra cash, although getting back to Neptune for a moment, make sure you are saving something for a rainy day from anything extra that comes in and not just spending it all. As Jimi Hendrix used to sing, “Castles made of sand fall into the sea, eventually…”
